Rent increased from $55 to over $95 per month, yet when you go online you can rent for significantly less for the same size storage at the same location. This is what you call being upside down on rents! Looking for a new location.Update: they responded with a canned answer! I tried to contact and they did nothing. Stay away

Snow removal needs to be more efficient. The general appearance and aesthetic of the property is neglected including overgrown weeds, filthy gravel areas, and debris in the driveways

Renter beware. Ive been renting a unit for a couple years. It had an understandable rent increase. Went from $85 to $95 per month. Just got a notification that the rent is now going up to $164 a month. Screw you. That is just pure greed. Over a 70% increase. Just criminal. Called the customer service number. They justified it by saying the contract says they can raise the rent.

Due to COVID & personal situation I needed my payment postponed in February 2021. I called a d spoke to a foreign sounding representative. She seemed confused as to what I was asking. Finally, she understood and stated that my payment would be processed on the 14th. At NO TIME did she state there would be late fees or that I could simply stop the auto-payment by opting out on their website. Anyways...My payment was not postponed and it caused me to postpone another payment with a larger late fee. So I discovered the fact I could stop the auto-pay and I did. I paid my March 2021 payment on 3/17 - but not before being hit with $25 in late fees and my gate code suspended. They (Red Dot) was Johnny on the spot to prevent my access to the facility; however, not so quick to re-instate them.March 31, 2021 - 14 days after payment made and 12 days after clearing my bank & I still do not have access. Red Dot refuses to refund half of month rent. They stated I could call for a temporary gate code - unfortunately that code does not work either. I am now on hold and have been for over 15 minutes and no access.A GREAT company will always perform when getting paid but TRULY AMAZING companies understand there will be turmoil and how they react will ultimately determine their reputation. That is why 1 star.

Nice clean units and easy to get in and out of.

I thought things would change when a big company bought my little storage facility. I spoke to Larry on the phone. He was very friendly and helpful with my questions. He made me feel comfortable with the change. I like the way they changed the security gate. Its much easier to use. Thank you Red Dot.

I have stored my items there for 6 months plus. Im very very angry, I have rat droppings and rat nests in all of my things!!!!! Ive had to throw the majority of my stuff out. Not happy about that!!! I never had mice in my home and now Im scared to bring my things to my house .....very disgusting......very unsanitary especially if Im paying $90 a month for unit, I shouldnt have to worry about my stuff being destroyed by mice!!!!!!!!

Red Dot Storage, a national chain, took over the the small facility I had been using. I was concerned about impersonal service, calling an 800 # and having to push a bunch of buttons only to wait on hold for long periods of time, etc. etc. Boy, was I wrong!!! Our family had a sudden crisis and needed storage immediately, which is exactly what I got. One simple phone call, thats all it took. By the next evening we realized we totally underestimated the size of space we needed, and once again it was just a quick call to their 800 # to change units and adjust the billing. The customer service rep even made sure to give us a special credit for the referral; both my unit and my brothers new unit received 50% off the 1st month! The Reps were friendly, patient and even compassionate, more importantly - they knew what they were doing, thank goodness.

I have had a storage unit here for years. Never any problems. Great place.

They took care of me when I was stuck in a bind. Highly recommend

No complaints before Red Dot Storage took over, since they have taken over my rent has arbitrarily changed three times going from $77 a month to $106, absolutely nothing special about this spot, trust me, look elsewhere
