I highly recommend this storage facility. Very clean, and prices are reasonable. Gina helped me with my move and was very professional and courteous through a stressful time. She went out of her way to make sure I got the right unit for my needs. The manager, Kathy, was also very helpful. The facility also has lots of security measures and cameras to make you feel safe.

This is overall a great place to store odds and ends from around the house. Gina is exceptionally helpful and genuinely kind. She made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. I will use this place in the future for any of my storage needs and I definitely recommend it!

Awful experience. My unit was broken into. No cameras inside or outside the unit. Then I was mocked by Cathy when I showed her that literally any number plus * was enough to open the door to the building. Getting out as soon as possible. To any robbers just hop the fence towards the back and type in whatever you want into the box and you can get inside the buildings. No cameras have fun! Cathy will make sure the customers feel like it’s their fault so don’t sweat it at all.

Ive been here frequently as my employment requires and Ive always had pleasant interactions with professional and neat employees. The facilities are clean and well maintained and the units are easily accessed without the labrinth some storage units present.If I needed local storage I wouldnt hesitate to contact this location first.

Signed up online didnt even have to speak with anyone in person. Pulled right up to the gate and put in the code and went right to my unit and started unloading. Simple as that. Also have 24 hour access available. If you do sign up online and they give you a gate code it doesnt say press * after you enter the code

Great customer service from Kathleen!! She showed me available units, processed my paperwork and I was all set with the storage space needed in a short time. Very clean inside and out.

Have used them each time I’ve moved Staff is helpful and pleasant. Storage contract is long and tedious, but they are even good natured about that. If you have any trouble with online booking, just head to the office. They will fix it promptly.

Update Correction: Received the July invoice and as anticipated another increase, original increase estimate of 12% was due to response from a new Midgard employee, actual increase is 1.25%. Rent has now increased 17% since Midgard took over..Be aware of what you are getting into if you rent from this company.I was an existing tenant of Store Smart Self Store when it was acquired by Midgard Storage. While the facility was Store Smart Self Store, it had 1 rent increase of 2.3% for January 2016 to June 2017.Since becoming Midgard Self Storage the rent has increased, under the pretext of ‘To continue our high level of customer service’, at least 5 times. In February 2019 it increased by 3%, May 2019 by 1.5%, September 2019 by 3.7%, December 2020 by 6% and March 2021 by 1.5%.Overall rent has increased by 15.7% since Midgard took over, and based on the pattern expect it to increase every quarter. Customer Service from this company has never been as good as it was while it was Store Smart Self Store, and in my opinion there have not been any significant improvements done to the facility. The only reason I can see for the constant rental rate increases is greed, pure and simple.Also know that you will be required to maintain insurance on the contents of your storage unit, and will need to prove it every year (something I never needed to do for Store Smart Self Store). If you don’t, they will add their own (SBOA) insurance to your invoice.

Kathy is great and the facility is nice. I will say that my intro rate of $72 quickly went to $103 and within 18 months of signing up was increased to $137!!!! I got no response to my email protest. Moving out. So unfortunate to see a good facility treat their customers poorly. It doesn’t seem to make much business sense when there are plenty of vacant spots at the location. My other concern is that I often found trash on my trailer and once my race ramps were removed, used, and not replaced properly.Can’t recommend. There are better options out there.

Horrible manager.... a true Karen... any other option is better. Decided to go elsewhere before ever putting anything in the unit due to the horrible manager, who then refused to refund the initial charge. Will be reporting this place to the bank and the BBB.

I called several Self-Storage/U-Haul places in the Canton/Woodstock area but from the time Kathy picked up the phone at Midgard on Big Springs Rd I had a good feeling about using them. Their storage is very clean and I was quite happy with the selection of sizes in the climate-controlled units. Their prices were really good and Kathy found ways to save us money on both the storage unit and the U-Haul. She and Kevin were very responsive to all of our needs, easy to get on the phone, and they put out some fires for us along the way. It is easy to get in and out but yet is quite secure. Kathy handled the paperwork and made it incredibly easy to just sign a couple of spots and head to the unit. No hassle at all and no wasted time! I will use them again in the future for sure. The U-Haul truck was also very easy to rent, use, and return. My five star review is from the heart!James

Have been renting a unit from them for 10 years. They have went up on my storage at least 3 times, without notice. It was only about $10 so I paid it. This month they went up $62 because “the housing market”. Again with no notice. Can’t get through to anyone to help. I asked for a manager and they gave me a number for a marketing manager. I called the corporate number on their website & it is a real estate company. DO NOT USE THEM.

WARNING, WARNING, Run, this place is over priced and a ripoff.I was a previous renter of an outside access storage unit previously and a return . They have now changed names to new owners. The have charged me for two months rent for a three weeks for parking my trailer. Going in I requested one month rental. Price is excessive when shopping around. Be cautious when signing their contract. Not a friendly experience.

After calling so many storage locations I finally found Midgard Storage. From my first phone call and visit to this location to see if they had a space for my enclosed trailer it was apparent that they cared enough to try to help me. The employee I worked with was named Kathy. Kathy was able to multi task in also helping other customers and I never had to just sit there and wait. She went above and beyond to fit me in a space that was perfect for my trailer. I had never met Kathy before but now consider her a friend. I would highly recommend this company and cannot thank them enough for their help!!

Midguard Self Storage has been great for us. The rates have been good, and they have always been quick to resolve any problems that came up. In particular, Kathy has been wonderful to work with. She has always been very friendly - when you call to make payments or ask questions, it’s nice to get a chance to speak with someone you feel comfortable with.

Extremely friendly and knowledgeable, they walked me through all the options and did not pressure me. This is the second time I have used them and highly recommend them for anyone elses needs.

Went to Mid-Guard to rent a parking spot for my trailer. Was able to reserve the spot online. When I got there Kathleen was amazing. They showed me an alternate, cheaper spot to see if that would work to save me money. I also brought my 6 year old son along, and Kathleen was amazing with him. She kept him entertained while I filled out all of the paperwork. Super easy to work with, clean facility, and exceptional staff. Exactly what I would expect from a premium customer service experience!!! Thank you!!!

I am so glad that I never have to do business with this place again. They promised me a discount for 6 months. After 3 months they jacked my rent way up and basically held my stuff hostage until I paid the new price. They threatened to put a lock on my door and cancel my gate code the day the bill was due for non payment when I argued about the price. They are only nice when they want you to sign up. Then they take advantage of you.

The team at Midgard are professional and work diligently to provide excellent service. Kathy and Chandler are always helpful and obviously enjoy their work. I will recommend this property to my business associates and friends.

Unit availability is very good, including climate controlled units. Reasonably priced, interested staff. But Arrow Exterminating sure has a full time job.

They deleted my last review so here’s another one they can pay to remove. I am so glad I moved out of this place. They promised me a deal for 6 months then changed the price after 3. When I said I couldn’t afford the new price they threatened to delete my gate code and lock me out of my unit same day! They are scammers.

We have been renting from Store Smart for about 10 months now. Everyone there will go above and beyond to make you happy. The units are super clean and secure area. Thank you Store Smart.Update to review. Store Smart has been bought out by Midgard Storage. Have called several times about concerns of temperature in halls and units of building. Placed thermometer in unit hottest record was 93 degrees. I dont believe it is climate controlled when it is hotter inside than outside. Went to office and was told would be corrected still two weeks later no resolution. If you check reviews most are from when previous owners managed company.

Stay Away!! This used to be a great place New owners ran charges on my card for $100 more without notice then say I gotta pay for 2 months for not giving a notice.. Plus after 8 years found out I was paying more then it was to move in now,, they dont care about the people who have been there for many years and always paid on time.. Cruel, hateful, uncaring company not worth it trust me

Our storage experience was amazing. We were frantically trying to move all of our stuff before we closed on our house and the staff at StoreSmart was incredibly helpful. They even offered us bottled water after seeing how sweaty we were.The units are easy to access and the property is well lit, for night time loading/unloading.Our family would highly recommend StoreSmart for all of your storage needs!

This company is to cheap to fix things such as the access gate so you get locked out with no way to get to your belongings. If this sounds like a company you want to rent from go ahead but expect to be unexpectedly locked out for no reason other than they are cheap!! Even though Im sure they could fix the gate for what I pay them monthly.
