Needed to have my air conditioning outside unit moved from under my deck. Was able to make an appointment for 8am the next day.A crew showed up exactly in time and promptly got to work moving the system.After completion they thoroughly tested the system ( all systems checked out).R&R HVAC has taken care of our systems for years and always have done excellent work, I highly recommend this company.

Ben and his crew replaced our upstairs unit back in March. We were so happy with R&Rs service, that we had them come back and replace the main level (nearly 30 yrs old) and the basement unit that had been fried by an electrical surge. I work night shift and I woke up Sunday afternoon and my house was 80 degrees. Monday morning I called R & R at 07:20 am. I was promised someone would arrive within 30 minutes. Chase was on time and ready to solve my problem. My capacitor was dead! He had everything back normal in less than 30 minutes. He also explained about a service agreement and got me signed up. My thermostat is old and runs on batteries. Chase is coming back next week to change my thermostat. Their price was very reasonable and the customer service is worth more than 5 stars.

===========================================================Update 08-21After speaking with the owner they did honor a true 10% discount and gave me the $25 new customer discount.Unfortunately there are still several existing issues that we are currently working on resolving.There still has not been a clear breakdown delivered on the cost of the replaced part and the associated labor.This was all listed under a single line item in the updated invoice totaling $1,417.50. What I am simply looking for clarification on is out of the$1,417.50 how much was the cost of the replaced part and how much was the labor.The math just simply doesnt add up even with a healthy markup on the cost of the replaced coil.Additionally there is still the following existing issues that I have experienced as a customer.1. My credit card was charged twice totaling just over $3100. (I am told this is being resolved and I trust this is simply an issue they are experiencing with their new payment system // but this could have a serious impact on a customer this is not a mistake on a $5 charge this is extra charge of $1500)2. After receiving the expanded invoice from the owner a $80 service fee was listed, but when I booked the repair the customer service rep told me that the service fee is rolled into the cost of the repair. (I am waiting on the explanation from the owner on this)3. R&R registered the replaced part for me with the manufacturer for their 10 year warranty which was nice except they input the wrong address. As the manufacturer uses the address to validate the warranty this is a critical error. (I am waiting on this to be corrected and have not yet heard back from the owner)All in all just a nightmare. I will say this is not a reflection of the technician who did the repair or an attack on their business this is a simple summary of my experience.And in my experience so far I couldnt consciously in good faith recommend them to anyone.===========================================================Stay away -- save yourselves and learn from my mistake!No issue with the technician -- he was friendly on time and professional.Issue comes down to the overall service structure. There was no statement of work delivered prior. The total cost was just approximated at $1700 for a coil replacement. The cost of coil was never stated and the hourly labor rate was never defined.No cost breakdown of the coil replacement was ever produced or transferred to me before the service or after. I was told the coil cost was about a thousand dollars and the rest of the cost was labor.Looking at the serial number of the coil after it was installed the average cost was around $800 dollars when I searched different vendors online. So they up-charged $200 on the cost of the coil.. whatever. I understand its a business.What I cannot understand is how the remaining $700 in labor was applied to work. The technician arrived at 9:30 AM and was completed at 11:30AM.So for 2 hours of work at $700 we arrive at a $350 an hour premium which is extremely high no matter the service. I did not ask to have the HVAC system repaired on a SpaceX rocket this is a home air conditioning unit.The final cherry on the cake was that on their website they state they offer a 10% military discount and as a veteran this was the main reason why I chose this vendor.Except they did not honor the 10% discount for the total cost of the work ($1700) only on the labor which again was never provided in a statement of work or in the final invoice. So they just knocked off $100 which is $70 short of a true 10% discount.Also just to add there is supposed to be a $25 discount for first time customers which again was never applied to the invoice.Both of these discounts are clearly marketed on their website.Overall just a highly shady way of structuring service agreements especially during a pandemic where every dollar matters.I will never recommend any one use this vendor.

Ben and Don are both top of the line professionals. I had a few issues with my heat pump that required Don to come out. He was extremely professional and fixed the problem quickly. Another, completely separate occurrence, Ben came out to the house, addressed the problem and fixed it immediately as well. I recommend R & R and will refer all my friends to their great service and knowledgeable team.

Ben with R&R heating and air replaced my AC system in the basement today and I have to say they are what you look for in a service company. Steve Responded to my initial contact promptly, came out that same day, scheduled an installation time that worked for me, provided update when they were heading to my home, showed up on time, cleaned up after. Very professional,I can not say enough good things about R&R Heating and Air. I just called to schedule a service call because my furnace went out. They saved me the cost of a visit when I explained what was wrong and was told to first check the batteries in the thermostat. I did and that fixed it.Last Fall they quickly repaired the furnace itself at an affordable price, rather than just sell me new parts. I loved R & R Heating & Air. The owner, Steve, was very responsive to my request for help and was very patient answering all my questions about my new HVAC system. He didnt try to sell me things I didnt need and he didnt try to upsell me a unit that wasnt necessary. He was much less expensive than the other quote I got. His crew was kind and courtious. These guys at R&R Heating and Air are AMAZING!!!!! I previously had a sub-par experience with another HVAC company. The other company took over two weeks to get in a part under warranty and twice the distributor he used sent the wrong part. I had to threaten this other company before I finally got AC. In fairness to the other company, they did replace my entire AC unit (under warranty). However, that was only after I threatened to tell every builder, mortgage broker, realtor, insurance agent and interior designer I knew. (I used to be in the building business myself.) Then my new AC unit froze up and quit working after only one week.Needless to say that when I was searching for a different experience with an HVAC company I was very leery and suspicious of everyone I spoke with. I got a recommendation from a group of neighbors to try the guys at R&R. WOW, what a difference these guys made! I was honest and upfront with them and they worked HARD to put me at ease and gain my trust. They diagnosed the problem I had and found out I needed a new evaporator coil. They researched and found out that the part was also still under warranty. Unlike the other company, they were able to have a replacement part the next business day.I found out what the labor charge was to replace the part and was skeptical about the cost. Friends got in my head and were saying thats too expensive. So, one day while I was home I saw a different HVAC company guy drive by my house and I flagged him down. Come to find out this guy was a neighbor that lived a few streets over. We started talking and I explained my situation to him. I explained that I was afraid I was paying too much for labor. My neighbor got out of his van and hooked up his tools to my AC. He confirmed EVERYTHING that R&R said. I asked him about the prices and he said, my charge for this would normally be $50 more. If you are getting it at the price quoted, you are getting a GREAT deal from R&R. He made some recommendations for additional service work I might want to have done.I called the guys at R&R and asked them to do some additional work when they replaced the broken part. He said no problem and I told them I wanted to replace the plenum above the furnace because it was leaking cold air. They investigated and found out that my plenum was not a standard length. After doing some research, they found a way to repair and replace the plenum and seal up all the air leaks above the furnace.They did everything the same day and when I got home the difference inside my home was very noticeable. The airflow coming from my ductwork was stronger in all the rooms. My house is now cooler than before and my unit is not running as often.I cant say enough great things about this company. They are reliable and do the job they say they are going to do. Their prices are fair and REASONABLE. They do QUALITY WORK and above all, they are HONEST people who WONT rip you off! I HIGHLY recommend R&R Heating and Air. If you use this company, you WILL NOT be sorry you did.
