I was told that Lees Automotive was a good. honest car repair business. I can attest that they are the best Ive found in my 25+ years living in Cherokee County. I took my 32 year old Mustang there with a laundry list of issues including a/c problems, oil leaks, strange rear end noises, dash gauge issues, brake issues and a ton of general maintenance needs. The manager Paul could not have been more honest and attentive. Especially the HONEST part. His crew did an end-to-end inspection, diagnosed each issue and he walked me through every issue in great detail with NO surprises and no BS. There were so many areas that they could have totally taken advantage of me and I wouldnt have had any idea. They did not. In fact, he talked me through a few things that I thought I needed that i just didnt. As in, if it aint broke, why fix it?. I finally found my mechanic. I couldnt be more appreciative of their honesty, integrity and fast & friendly service. I highly recommend these folks. 5 Star service!

I asked for a refurbished engine to be put in my car and was charged over $4000. The engine was making horrible noises at the time of pick up. I took the car back because it was making horrible noises. Paul assured me it was ok. It totally broke down within less than 2000 miles . Paul said it was the fly wheel and charged me another 600 upon pick up I broke down within 2 miles of the shop on a busy highway. Paul said it was the starter and charged me another $400 bucks, it then broke down again after about 1000 miles . Paul told me it was the starter AGAIN but it was under warranty. I told him that it’s the engine and it’s been the engine the whole time ( 18 month warranty). He said it’s the fly wheel and he’s going through hell with the dealership on a $81 part so he’s had my car a month. I’m a single mom that can’t get to work. I take care of a mentally ill son. I’ve had to ride my bike to get groceries and cancel many drs apts for my son and myself. I’ve asked for a rental car . Paul won’t provide one. He’s been avoiding telling me he out a junk yard engine in and charged me for a refurbished one. He told me he put in a rebuilt engine. Today I got him to admit it was from the junk yard. I’ve spent over 6000 to get this car right. Being as I’m unemployed it took my entire income last year to fix it . I’m literally being ripped off and give excuses not to mention the inconvenience of not being able to go anywhere

My daughter took her Toyota FJ cruiser to Lee’s Automotive a few days ago. She had a brake light on and the check engine light on. Lee’s did a wonderful job fixing her brakes and spent many hours under her car trying to diagnose the problem behind her check engine light. As a freshman in college, working part time, my daughter was very nervous about the bill for this repair. The guys at Lee’s Automotive tried multiple parts and put in many hours, but we’re not able to fully fix the check engine light problem. We are going to have to take her car to a dealership. Knowing my daughters financial situation, Lee’s only charged her for the brake job and the oil change, and they have been gracious in not charging us for the many hours of labor for the check engine light. We are forever grateful and will be taking every vehicle to Lee’s from now on! They are honest and fair. You just don’t see that with mechanics these days.

My husband and I took our 2010 Dodge Charger to Lees because it would not pass emissions. Lets cut to the chase. Lees could have told us many things that would be believable as it relates to repairs but, instead, they replaced cheapest piece by piece until she passed. Long story short, many automotive companies will charge you the full 3000 and replace unnecessary parts. Lees, specifically Paul and Brian, will take time and days on your vehicle to ensure actual problem is corrected. They will be getting our business from here on out!

As a Google tour guide I have the duty to be honest and unbiased to businesses that depends on Google ratings for customers. In error, I rated this business with a one star review thinking it was another business that I had a concern. I rarely rate a business with a 5-star review, not because a business doesnt deserve it, but because I analyze everything. What gives this business a unique 5 star review is that the business owner actually cares about customers opnion. This business owner followed up with the complaint and proceeded to resolve the issue. That is what I considered to be outstanding business practice. In this case the customer was wrong! For the record I received courteous and prompt service. The prices were market competitive. A friend of mine at work recommended this automotive shop. Keep up the good work Lees Automotive and I will be returning real soon when my loose muffler finally falls off.

I have been to Lees Automotive shop a few times now in the past couple of months and so far I have left very pleased. I found them by their website and I figured I couldnt miss the building since its bright green and yellow. The staff was really friendly, helpful, and easy to get along with. Their prices are fair and for the most part reasonable. Good quality service with people that are trustworthy. The service for me has never been shady, plus they back up their work. The speed of work has never been a problem. I would really recommended this place to anyone with car troubles, plus they dont use the absolute cheapest parts or fluids so you really get your moneys worth.

My car was overheating and my husband figured it needed a new thermostat. We dropped it off just before closing on Fri knowing they were closed on the weekend. They called early Monday morning to let me know it was fine. Love to know we have found an honest mechanic. When we went to pick it up he said he couldnt charge for something that wasnt broken. We will certainly return when something does need repaired.

Absolutely do not trust him. He drained the coolant for my car checking on knock sensors and did not refill it and a couple days later my car but the dust needs a new engine. I am now walking to work and I lost a great car because of a sloppy mistake on their part. A used engine is 5000 dollars just so everyone knows. I trusted this man with my car and he ended up killing it. Please everyone else be careful and check everything on your car when it is touched by them.

Had an air issue in my truck so I brought it here. They said I needed a whole new ac system costing 970.00 I took it to auto cool and and they fixed the problem for $176. Was just a minor issue. Make sure you get a second opinion before they do any work. Lees automotive also charged me a $40 diagnostic fee. I wont be going back

My dad has been coming for years, and naturally so have I. The owners, Chris and Angie are wonderful, and really care about the customer. Whether youre a randoid with a check engine light on or a longtime customer there for an oil change, theyll try and fit you in and take care of you the best way they can. I was having issues with my truck vibrating after a recent trip. I took it to the Toyota dealership on Barrett and identified the U Joint on my drive shaft to be the problem, and wanted to charge me $1270.00 to replace my entire drive shaft despite the problem only being the U Joint.I wound up taking the truck up to Lees instead and they replaced my front and back U Joints for under $270 including parts, and they were able to do it in under 3 hours while I waited and went to eat. I left and the problem was completely solved.Ive had nothing but great experiences here and will always come back. My only dumb moment was not checking here first.

SO I BELIEVED IT. MAYBE TWO MONTHS OF ME GETTING MY CAR BACK IT WOULDNT START SO I HAD TO BUY A $130 BATTERY FROM THEM. MONTH LATER I HAVE A BIG OIL LEAK AND THEY SAY IM OVER MY 6000K MILE WARRANTY AND I SAID NO I HAVE 24K OR 2 YEARS. EVEN ON MY RECEIPT SAYS 24K MILE WARRANTY OR 2 YEARS. 6000K MILE WARRANTY IS..........NO WHERE ON THERE......WHEN I SAY NO WHERE I MEAN NO WHERE. PLEASE BE ADVISE...... LEAVE THIS SHOP ALONE. SO THEY DONT WANT TO HONOR WHAT THE RECEIPT SAYS OR WHAT MY FINANCE COMPANY SAY AND I DO HAVE THEN ON SPEAKER PHONE RECORDING SAYING 24K MILE WARRANTY OR 2 YEARS AND STILL DONT WANT TO HONOR IT. MY ATTORNEY SAW THIS RECEIPT AND HE SAID ITS CLEAR AS DAY 24K MILE WARRANTY OR 2 YEARS. SO SMALL CLAIMS COURT HERE WE COME. RIGHT IS RIGHT.... JUST HONOR WHAT THE RECEIPT SAYS AND DO GOOD BUSINESS. I cant take it to another shops bc it voids the receipt. If on the receipt it says 6000k mile WARRANTY then I have nothing to say but it doesnt. Its been about 8 months ago, but I went in for a over heating problem, I replaced a blown radiator, themostat, and water pump, but it continuously over heated, they found the problem, which I couldnt fix they did an excellent job, and still no problems I will go back. As needed

Honest mechanic with fair pricing which is hard to find

Do not trust them! I went there with a 2003 jeep liberty complaining of a burning smell. They told me I had leaky gaskets and that my battery and alternator were also bad and that it would cost me $850. We had them replace the gaskets, since that was the only thing I couldnt do on my own, then went to autozone to buy a refurbished alternator to install. Autozone tested my battery and alternator and both were running normal. That saved me $450!! Then 4 days later on a road trip, my car started making really strange noises and started smoking. Turns out the burning was coming from the AC compressor, NOT leaking gaskets. They not only lied to me about my battery and alternator, the mis-diagnosed the actual problem. My car starting breaking down on me 150miles from home. By some miracle I made it back and took it to Alpha and Omega Automotive on Trickum and Shallowford, who came highly recommended from some friends.Bottom line, I will never go back to Lees and am even thinking about reporting them to the BBB. On a side note, so far we are very pleased with Alpha and Omega.
