2 days later and the gel polish is already chipping. For $20 extra for gel it shouldnt chip. Oh my goodness!

What a lovely salon! I was treated with warmth and friendliness. Very clean and professional...not to mention that I received a fabulous gel mani pedi :)

I went about 4 years ago. I got a fungus under my nails. The male tech chain smoked outside on several breaks while doing my nails. He was very agitated. It was to this day the worst nail service I have ever had.

I never leave reviews, but just had to for this wonderful place. I’ve been to many nail salons in the area and this by far is my favorite. Donna is excellent and I always leave happy after getting my nails done here. The price is great, they offer free beverages, and they even offer a loyalty program for paying cash. After seven stamps you get $10 off! I think this is a wonderful perk and should be offered by more salons. G Nails is the best!

I’ve been going here for over year and absolutely love this salon. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. I can sometimes be hard on my nails, so naturally they chip once in a while. She is always willing to fix me up when it happens. I can’t say enough good things about how great they are!

They treat you very good. They do such a good job! Good pop and nice music they really take time to do your nails. I highly recommend this place!! They do such an incredible job! I’m so happy with how my nails turned out!😄

I have always had good experiences here and am somewhat surprised to read the negative reviews others have written. My only criticism would be that not all the techs seem to have the same experience level. I once started my french style gel manicure with an employee who asked her coworker to take over midway when she was struggling to get it to look perfect. Either way, I was happy with my manicure. Ill be back.

The worst experience I’ve ever had. I’m so appalled by the lack of skill and professionalism. My hands are swollen and sore. My nails are crooked and a terrible shape. I was charged 45 dollars for something that I have to go and get fixed by a salon more qualifying. Please do not waste your time or energy with this place.

Wouldnt want to go to any other nail salon except for this one. I always like to get pedicures here, which are just $25.00. The pedicures include hot stones and warm towels, which will instantly make you feel relaxed. Youll also feel very welcomed since the technicians are so homely in a sense. They offer you drinks and will even start a conversation with you. So I say head to the G Nails Salon if youre ever in need of one.

Mai Lee (sp?) is amazing!! She does my nails however I ask her to, and she is kind and courteous. So happy I found this place! Its always clean, and all the ladies are so sweet! Highly recommend it!

I have been going here for 2 years and have introduced friends to Mai (sp) and her team. I have always been happy with the service provided. Ive never had to wait (but I try to to at odd hours). Best nail salon in Woodbury! I love everything about the salon. The people working there are very professional and truly artistic. They go out of their way to insure that your experience at their salon is perfect! I love going there and I love the people who work there! As I said, best nail salon anywhere!

Ive been going here for years. I havent been happy with the last 2 or 3 times this last time was probably my last . I paid to have a more expensive pedi and they did not do the paraffin wax or callous removal . Also there was only me and one other person in the salon and 2 techs, people kept coming in and they told them to have a seat .so then the have to rush through mine. I think thats horrible and rude to both parties . And someone should tell them to maybe massage the bottom of your feet not the top and beating the bottom of your feet does not feel good. They are somewhat friendly but not really...

Very nice service they gave me a discount and everything. but this is the worst nails I’ve ever got my toe nails chipped the next day.. I also got acrylic gel for my fingers and she filed them down so short and crooked One side is straight and one side is crooked and my Thumb is already ripping it is like the paint is coming off because she put too much gel on and it’s been two days. I paid $70 and it’s very bad. Will not be coming back.

Myle is the best around! Ive been going to here for 12 yrs . She is very talented and keeps it professional. Keeps her shop very neat and follows the guidelines to run a business. Im a licensed cosmetologist 10 yrs! Her shop is the best around.

Used to go here all the time,People are pretty nice, did my acrylics good enough for the price, do NOT get the dipped nail here after they come off you nail is so thin and your nails don’t go back to normal for awhile.

I needed manicure and got the Dip powder nail polish... Was awesome.. Donna is so sweet and took her time.. I will return.

I have to say, that this is the first place I have gone to and had a nail tech actually talk to me. The owner and her sister are wonderful women and the techs take care to make sure you are getting what you want. I am usually there for at least an hour if not longer. They offer you something to drink as soon as you walk in the door. At the holidays they gave all customers hand lotion. I had been going somewhere else closer to home. Now I drive 18 miles to get here. As long as they take care of me, I will continue to drive those 18 miles.

The lady that helped me was very nice. The place was clean. It was not busy which I liked. I will go back to this nail salon

Moved to the Woodbury area and picked this place to try first for a pedicure and manicure. I have never gone anywhere else! The people are very friendly and lots of fun to talk too. The prices are reasonable too. Definitely go for a gel pedicure because the polish lasts over a month without chipping!

Just moved to Woodbury and I wanted to see if I could find a new nail salon that I could try out. So I head on over to G Nails to get a pedicure and I gotta say; it was pretty good and comfortable and the people there were very nice and professional! Definitely gonna come back here again.

I have been goin my here for 2 years and never had a problem. I went for Valentines Day. And this new lady did my pedicure. My toe nails were slanted, didnt bother to file my nails, and my polish looks as if my husband completed. After expressing I was unhappy they did minimum to fix it. I left in tears! I wont even mention my nails. But I will be contacting the Board. As a hair stylist I know the procedures and I know that that lady was not licensed!

They insisted on gel nails, which I did not wanted. Then they changed and lower the price for me (meaning they charge people a different price).. I had to say OK! Then she took extremely long and it was PAINFUL!!!... never in my life did I experience pain while doing my nails!! she even skipped the part of washing my hands. Now that I got home I notice a bumpy nail... looks horrible. I cant believe I paid $40 for this. It was my first and last time there....

Just walked in after making an appointment at USA nails, getting there and they had just sat a walkin, when I talked to the person in the phone 20 minutes before.G nails was very comfortable and did a fantastic job. Will definitely return!!

Ive been getting my nails done for almost 20 years.This is the worst nail shop Ive ever been to. The shop is dirty, the nail techs are dirty. They DO NOT know how to do pink and white nails. They caused my nails to bleed and they purposely gave back the wrong change.I would never go back to this place again. EVER!!

This is such a fantastic salon. I brought My bridal party here for manis and pedis and they were so kind, took their time-And were so detailed and meticulous. Unfortunately, i bumped my toe and smudged it on the way home. i went back the next day to just see if they would repaint the one toe and the nail tech completely took off all my polish and seriously gave me like basically another full pedicure. Honestly Ill never go anywhere else after that experience. They are so awesome! And so nice! Highly reccomend!

Worst place. Called ahead of time and was told $22 for a set. Super cheap. I walk in day after $28. Ok still get them done. The lady puts on the tips of the nails she asks me what shape I say coffin. She says ok $5 extra🤔 😂 weird. I say no its ok Ill just do them straight. She gave me bumpy fan like nails😳😡. She couldnt shape it at all and to top it off it took her 2hrs! Oh and all of the sudden she changes her mind telling me its ok she doesnt have to charge me the $5 extra😕 they pick and choose who to charge more. Not cool. Never will I go here again.

This place opens at 9:30. My sister and I got there at 9:20, just because we were running a little ahead of schedule. An employee was waiting outside for the other employee to get there to open the door. She didnt arrive until 9:45. We were the only two there at the time. Told them what we wanted. She said she didnt know how to do that, so we chose something else. Three women were then working, but only one started doing my nails. They were saying the other ones didnt know how to do something, so my sister had to wait for my nails to be done so the same lady could do her nails? My nails were horribly done, took over an hour and somehow every single nail is pointed upwards with an obvious dip in the middle of each nail. I was knicked twice by the sander thing and had painful cuts. She moved on to my sisters nails, glued the tips on and stopped and told her she didnt know how to put acrylic on. Also cut my sisters cuticle and made her bleed. So she got the lady who couldnt do it since the beginning to come and do them. We had to wait for her because a couple more customers came in. This lady noticed one tip came right off, then the rest came right off. So she had to start over completely when we were already there for over two hours. At this point we were both very frustrated, in pain and late to everything we had planned the rest of the day. I tried to explain to this new lady that my nails were going to have to be taken off and redone, and tried to show her the obvious flaws. She wouldnt even look in my direction. I asked what kind of discount I could have because we didnt have any more time. She said $5 off of my $50 bill. The first lady then came to me, very apologetic. Told me I could come back and she will fix them. We decided Id pay half, since she was at least trying to be nice about it. The other lady, not so much. Very, very rude. She was painting my sisters nails while I discussed my nails with the first lady. Must have upset her, because she slopped on my sisters polish terribly. She broke down in the car on the way home because she noticed her polish was coming right off. Like it was too thick and couldnt dry. She lives a mile away and all her nail polish was off by the time we got to her house. We both wasted 3 hours of our lives, wasted $50 and left without our nails even remotely acceptable. Also, they didnt do any of the basic manicure things. Like cutical care or lotion or anything of that sort.Id stay away.

WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE EVER. Arrived right at 9:30am to get in and out with a hopefully decent set of nails. The manager didnt arrive to open the doors until about 9:45 - no big deal. I requested an extremely easy and popular acrylic set and was told I needed to wait until someone else got there because the 3 employees present werent allowed to use acrylic?!?!?!?! Let my sister get her dip nails done first (OMG they were horrible do not get tips with dip nails or go to an experienced nail tech!!!) waited until 11:30 to even get in the seat. The nail techs argued about who was going to finish my nails after only the tips were glued on. When the one who had to do mine finally started the nail tips literally chipped into pieces while being shaped . I was trying so hard to give them the benefit of the doubt about this whole situation but ultimately had to go home remove the nail polish, reshape my nails and redo the polish on my own. People do not waste your money here!!!! It is horrible.

Went to this place for a pedicure. The whole time they were extremely insistent I get a gel pedicure. I kept saying no. I got a deluxe pedicure and my bill came out to be $45 even though the sign on the wall said $35. Not a huge deal but when I asked about it they were extremely rude telling me over and over how they asked me and I didnt listen and that was the price... The whole thing felt extremely pushy. The pedicure was not worth it. They flew through everything even though there was only 3 people in the place. Super disapointed in the customer service. Nails are ok but I have had WAY better pedicures.

Horrible experience my sister and I both got a full set acrylic with on the wall is said to be $20 w/ student discount, we each spent $45 on very poorly done nails. The woman who did our nail finished both in less than an hour, very pushy and rushed, also my nail snapped off the next day, would not recommend

If I could give zero stars I would. Ive been going to Gnails for YEARS! I went in for a pedicure last week and received the worst service! Nancy did my pedicure and in the process of doing it someone came in asking for her, she told them to come back in 15 minutes..... she had just started my pedicure and it typically takes longer then that to do a pedicure. At this point she started ripping the gel polish off my nails as it was obvious that she was now in a hurry. All of a sudden I feel a sharp pain, I look down and she had ripped one of my toe nails off and it had started to bleed. Then, she blames me for it, saying I have thin nails... the least she could have done was apologize. Not even a week later my gel polish started to peel. I called Maille as she is the owner of the salon and shes normally the one who does my pedicures. I told her about my experience and she more or less told me she couldnt do anything for me because shes not the one who did my nails. She told me I shouldve just waited for her to do them in the first place instead of letting someone else do them. Again, I told her about my experience with Nancy and insisted she help me by at least repainting them for me. She said I could come in and that Nancy could repaint them... again I insisted she do it and she finally agreed. When I arrived to have her fix my nails she treated me awful the whole time and made me feel like I was being unreasonable in some way. Its sad but, because of this whole experience I will never be going back to Gnails again. I really expected better treatment and was very disappointed in the way both Nancy and Maille handled themselves.

I am a stylist so Im always picky about salons and nail places. I LOVE this nail shop. I came on a sunday just passing by at around 10:30. They dont open until 11 but she opened the door, greeted me and got me in a chair. I was offered a drink and she gladly started conversing with me. Asked me EXACTLY what I wanted...when normally they just do what they want. I could easy understand her (its a bit frustrating when u cant communicate) amd she didnt try to sell me a bunch of other crap.Also, when I went the place was not dirty. It may not be brand spanking new but the tools were sterlized and she even threw out tips that fell out of the box.As I said, almost every time I leave a nail salon I have something to complain about and I just dont. The set is beautiful, no pain or blood or feeling rushed. Love it.

Very poor gel manicure, it took 18Minutes! The next morning chips in it so I went back and asked for either my money back or to be fixed, she fixed it, acted like it was a favor! Actually very inconvenient that I had to go back again! I left the 2nd time and 3 of my nails were all gummy and tacky. I am done there.
