I purchased a lifetime watch battery for three different watches pre Covid. Now watches have to be sent out for about 6 weeks for new battery due to Covid. I don’t think Kay Jewelers has heard that everything is open again after Covid and it’s SAFE to change watch batteries in store again. What a cop out for providing very poor customer service. They have our money and don’t have to provide the service anymore. Win win for Kay!!! Go elsewhere to do business.

My fiance and I have purchased a lot of jewelry through Kay Jewelers over the years. We typically went to the Maplewood, MN location but the wonderful lady who worked there has unfortunately moved on so we chose Kay Jewelers in Woodbury, (closer to home) the customer service there was a complete let down!! The couple times I went to this location, I was not pleased in the slightest. Amy P. was exceptionally rude and ultimately due to her inability to seemingly have any knowledge in customer service we have decided to switch Jewelers indefinitely.
I love Kay jewelers in Woodbury, Minnesota. Everyone know their stuff, are cheerful, and helpful. They are also honest and earn your trust. Its not just selling anything to sell it. Id say they are considered special and friends by me. Amazing!

Horrible customer service. Absorbent lead times on warranty work and sizing. Individual stores set their own hours with hand written updates in the window stealing time from customers which is the only thing money cant buy. I strongly recomend looking elsewhere.
Amy and Kelly went above and beyond to help me order the perfect ring for my girlfriend. I had some trouble with an online order for Christmas and it was cancelled but they took care of me and honored the pricing and got me the ring she deserved. Shes super happy and so am I with the service provided at this location. A+ customer service. Keep making people smile.
Always work hard to make sure they meet a your needs and answer any questions you may have. Even during this unprecedented time of COVID-19 and having to do extra cleaning between customers. They do their utmost to make you feel important, seen and heard.
I love going to this location. They make the try in Experience So nice. We called recently cause took my band in to be resized and Amy P. Was able to find it so fast I was really worried she would be able to find our Warrenty. We had NONE of the info packet from back when we got it (2011) but she was so quick in finding it and putting me at ease.

Our experience with Kay was extremely poor. The ring was repaired incorrectly twice, changing the appearance. Then it was stuck with Kay for months, due to COVID-19. When it was finally being returned the Maplewood store was closed so we were told to work with the Woodbury store. The store manager in Woodbury had no time to work with us on getting the ring returned. When we inquired on trading in the ring for a new ring, which is offered under the Kay terms, she asked us to call the repair shop to find out the rings status. Thought that was her part of their job since its their repair shop. To top it off she stated to us twice over two calls Im just the middle person here since the Maplewood location has been closed Really! Who works for Kay? Who represents the Kay brand? You are more then the middle person. And this is the store manager making these statements. My suggestion is to go to a different store if you want meaningful assistance.
I bought my girlfriend a promise ring less than a year ago. We brought it to this location to be resized and was charged when I was originally told I wouldnt be if the size was wrong. This was last August. Originally when it came back you could tell exactly where they cut it, and today in June it completely popped where the line was. Cheap job. Will take my business elsewhere for other jewelry purchases.

Received excellent assistance in buying a ring for myself. I was pretty ignorant about assembling a ring from scratch and in no way did they make me feel as though I was wasting their time. I did buy a ring. I love it and will buy jewelry from them again.

I’m so bummed! Never again lol. KAY claims safe shippping. I did next day shipping and my item is still not here it’s been almost a week. Called and did multiple live chats online and they refuse to reship or refund anything! I have filed multiple claims through Kay & UPS and they can’t find the item yet. I still can’t get the item refunded or replaced :/ disappointing that a smaller business would be willing to make this right. now I’m out hundreds for nothing. Poor customer serviceUPDATE: It’s 1/13/2020 my claim began 12/28/2019. I was guaranteed a refund in 5 days after the 28th. 10 at the latest. After that didn’t happen. I was then told it would be the 13th at the latest (today) for a refund. I’ve been given the same run around from the online chat, to reps on e-commerce department and in store. No reps from Kay have even LOOKED at my claim. Now they are NO LONGER promising that I will even receive a refund for a necklace that never arrived. UPS has contacted them confirming it was lost/stolen. Kay is continuing doing nothing to make this right. I don’t know what to do. Every time I talk to them they promise they will be in touch with updates but I hear nothing unless I reach out. Every rep I talk to has a different story. This company is Mess

Bought my engagement ring her. Staff was really helpful. My girlfriend pick out one they sell online, and they shipped it to the store. We went to look, but didnt like the size, so the offered to make a custom one, that was more expensive. We had to think about it and the guy was very under standing, and even said come back next week as we will have a sale. We did and got the custom ring. Got the first model and made some tweaks, got the second model and love it. Just waiting for completion now.
The staff at Kays was fantastic! Stephen, David and Ruth were warm, welcoming, and not the least bit pushy. I was buying a special ring for my birthday, and not only did I find the perfect one for a great price, but they had it ready as promised on the day of my birthday. And not only that, but they had a cupcake and a card waiting for me as I picked it up this morning. Unbelievable customer service! They have a new repeat customer in me!

I was asked if Id like to see if I can get approved for their card, they said it was a soft check, only one point down. Stays on my report for a month then disappears (well see about that).... It was actually a hard check... Thanks guys >:(
Unhappy with turnaround time for sizing. They put a rush on it which doesnt mean anything. They just say that to make you happy at the moment. Then they say two weeks when its really longer than two weeks. Honestly, if I didnt like the ring so much I would return it. My advice... just tell the truth and people wouldnt get so upset. will not use this location again.
I was just recently engaged over a month ago with the most phenomenal engagement ring. I had the pleasure of meeting Ruth a couple of times previously when my boyfriend and I were just looking at rings. She helped my finance personalize an amazing design and Ive never been happier. The store even put a rush on my ring to get it resized before my engagement pictures. Every time we come in we are greated by name, and everyone is so friendly and accommodating. We are so incredibly happy with our service and will definitely be coming back to this location for any future jewelry needs!
Steven is amazing! I went to the Woodbury location to get my rings resized and the paper trail is always very messy. Steven went ahead and put all my purchases under my married name, printed out receipts for us., and reorganized my rings in the system. We have asked at other locations for this to be consolidated but nobody has offered like this location has. All said and done it was a longer appointment but they made us feel at home and that it wasnt a bother to them at all. I would definitely go this location especially when going to neighboring Kay Jewelers. Do not hesitate and ask for Steven - he is the best hands down!

Will never go back. Dealt with an Austin over the phone today after my wife went there and was told the extended warranty I purchased 4 years ago on her wedding ring is no good for a cracked diamond in the setting as she hasnt been in to have it checked in over 6 months. Austin was a smug and uncaring little fella. That was the start of our unpleasant conversation. Now they want to charge us nearly $300 to replace a cracked diamond. In 4 years this is the 2nd cracked diamond and one fell out too. Also, nearly lost another one that was loose. What kind of poor materials and workmanship does Kay Jewelers have? Sheesh. 2 cracked diamonds and a lost diamond in 4 years??!! That was bad enough, but on top of it I get attitude from this guy who identified himself as the store manager. He smugly told me they arent in the business of giving away free diamonds while advising that I can call corporate if I wasnt happy. Poor company, poor insurance plan, poor employee. We have purchased other things there since the wedding ring, but we will NEVER go back to Kay Jewelers again. Look online for reviews on their insurance plan before you lay down good money buying it. Bad reviews left and right. Better yet, go to another jeweler to do business with.
Ruth is the best! Ive always been nervous getting jewelry, and she took all the anxiety away from the experience! Definitely recommend her. :)
