Im a new resident, just moved in on May 1st. First off, thank you to the young lady for listening to me and giving me the information I needed to contact your higher powers that be. I wanted to speak with Andy, as that is the name I was given, but Stacey responded. She addressed me by the wrong name after I signed my name at the end of the email as if she did not read the email. Thank you for making me feel inferior because you have the power to disrespect me and get away with it. My car was towed once for parking somewhere that was really CLEAR not to park in. The second time my car gets towed is in Princeton Woods (Im a resident) and at a parking spot that says VISITOR. It should be okay right? No! Apparently, there are two different owners of Princeton Woods and one requires parking permits and the other doesnt. I was told that there is a sign that says visitors need a parking permit. I know of the sign for residents that mention permits, but by the Visitor parking section, it just says for Residents only and Im a resident of Princeton Woods, but I dont live in that specific neighborhood so parking in the VISITOR spot seems like the okay thing to do! Nope, car gets towed for the second time (targeting?). I can never find parking of course because its late when I return home from work and the folks I live with also have cars. The young man was very nice also at the site. Ms. Stacey, however, very disrespectful to spell a persons name wrong when there is a signature presenting the correct spelling. Might I add that towing companies charge YOU to OPEN A GATE? Yeah, a scam.

Tow operator damaged my muffler system & bumper, they sent me photos of the vehicle BEFORE it was moved. They told me to adjust the brightness to high so I did just that & clearly you can see that the muffler/bumper is in no way damaged prior to them towing it. They blame me for bottoming out because my vehicle is lowered but that doesnt explain the bumper damage. Check you vehicle if these people touch your vehicle and document it right away. The drivers need to own up to their mistakes. You can clearly see where the muffler use to sit VS how I found it after they towed. Its crazy they sent me photos to self incriminate themselves and still think their behavior is alright. Also they state in the email reply my front bumper was removed from being so low this makes no sense as I am changing out my condenser to fix my AC problem & the front bumper is in my garage. They are trying to cover everything up, but I have submitted a review to the BBB with the photo they took before towing along with my damaged photos.

Dominion Wrecker to me are very PROFESSIONAL and Respectful. The security at River Oaks got my car towed. Indeed it was my fault for abandoning my car for sometime though it had a parking permit on the dash. I received a mail after it being towed for some days. I contacted the Manager and to my surprise she spoke to me so calmly and respectful to even ease my stress. She honestly changed my mentality about why ppl say about Tow drivers. She also helped me out as during this pandemic she understood the pressure and the pain I was going through. Thank you for serving this community with Love Dominion. Towed me out of my own apartment complex because they’re predatory and I guess need the 180 per car to keep the lights on in the little shack they operate out of. Was upset then I remembered this “business” probably won’t last that long and that brought me some joy

This business is a rip off. They tow cars from Potomac Vista Apartments all the time at night. I lived here for years and have gotten towed 4 times already. When you go there the guy said there is visitors parking there which is not true. The leasing office closes at 5pm so you cannot get a guest pass. As soon as its dark out they come take your car and charge 180+ even if you immediately come get it. Theres no away around this unless you park off premises on the street. Which I do every night and walk home. Sad way to make a living.

I was doing a job in a customer’s house when my car got towed. I understand you need a visitor pass, but the customer was without one. I cannot walk to the street to get equipment etc and work in a house, then it’s my fault of the person does not notify the neighborhood. I am now out of $150 in a pandemic with 2 kids and I am the only one working to take care of them. Thank you for ruining my day, leaving me without a car and literally taking food out of my kids mouths. Y’all are great people.

Parking rules are rules. If one doesn’t follow the rules there are consequences, just like parking tickets and speeding tickets. Dominion Wrecker Service has been responsive to service requests via email or phone. Easy to speak with and very knowledgeable of laws and regs to help us make the right decisions. If people are courteous and follow the rules they won’t have to worry about getting their car towed for violating parking rules like parking in no parking areas or double parking or parking in spaces not theirs to park in.

Absolute thieves. They will sit and wait with no remorse after towing your vehicle no matter the circumstances. I just picked my daughters car up. It was toewd after being out front for five minutes while her mother attended her grandmothers elderly needs before moving vehicle spots. When the tow driver was noticed he rushed and ran off with the car and ignored ever attempt to get his attention afterward all the way to down the highway even into the lot.

After parking my vehicle on private property without a required parking permit, it was towed. I was able to go to the office and retrieve my vehicle with my questions answered so I don’t get towed again. No headache no hassle. Unfortunately if you park funny, you lose your money.

Sent my car picture in my email, I parked in wrong spot.The customer service guy is great person. Remember whenever your car is towed, it is your fault. They are just doing their job.

They towed my truck out of the parking lot of my building because the parking tag had fallen on the dashboard and they couldnt read the tag. Then when I went to the garage to get my truck the staff were very disrespectful, and the guy at the window was rude. I tried asking him for consideration and he started to yell at me and get this they charged me $25 for weekend fees, $25 for administrative fees $150 for the towing. They had my truck two hours unbelievable.

I was visiting Woodbridge for the holidays and this company towed my truck. They said it was a commercial truck. It is my personal vehicle with handicapped plates. It also has a veteran charity sticker on it. IT IS NOT A COMNERCIAL VEHICLE. After picking it up we took pictures of numerous vehicles in the subdivision that WERE COMMERCIAL VEHICLES and they were not towed. I am still trying to get my money back.

Honestly one of the worst towing companies out there. I truly understand what the purpose of a towing company is but if you’re going to be towing CARS ITD BE GREAT IF YOU GUYS COULD BE MORE ACCURATE when noting down numbers. I WENT BACK AND FORTH to the lot to ask the kid at the front if my car is there and 3 times he told me 100% “it’s not here, we make sure to write everything correctly and take exact note of what kind, color, and trim of vehicles we pick up second we do” and i took his word for it. Come to find out after a WHOLE HOUR+ after calling the police and filing a report as stolen they had my vehicle the entire time in the lot. They said the vin number was put incorrectly and i had asked the kid if he can check before if there is any EXACT COLOR AND TRIM OR AT LEAST SAME MODEL and he said there isn’t at all. i truly understand your job but to not at least discount the fee by something for YOUR MISTAKES, which i have on camera where he says it’s the towers fault and his himself is so sad of a business and is really pathetic . We use this company within our management company for multiple properties that we manage! We could not ask for a better towing company! You dont find many Towing companies with a commitment such as their commitment!! We give them a 11 in a rating 1-10!!

Ive worked with Domion for the past 5 years as a prop. manager. Dominion is responsive and professional. Dominion has assistant several times with paving jobs and relocations.

This is a parking enforcement impound lot. Theyre hard on the cars and they charge to much... but it is what it is. At least they are open 24 hours.

We use their service for towing vehicles that are in violation of the policy in the community we manage. When called, they usually arrive within the hour. We also have them monitoring our private streets over nights for violations.

Crooks. Towed my car in front of my condo. I think they are paying the grounds keeper or something. Now they towed someone visiting me over the holiday from a parking spot that doesnt require a permit. And the place they said it was towed from doesnt exist. I got pictures to prove it

They are horrible. They just care about getting paid. They dented my bumper of a brand new truck and they claim nothing happened when I always look at my truck for new dents and scratches. The lady didnt even try to help she was incredibly rude in her email when I was being so nice cause I know they get a lot of trouble from people. No customer care. I hope they get shut down. Well my Montclair Nob Hill association decided to hire them as ninjas in the night to come in the middle of the night and tow your car if you forgot to put your parking visitor tag on your vehicle which I did last night I heard they came at 1:30 stole my Mercedes and I have to go get it back for $175 what a great gig they have going on during a pandemic taking $175 away from people who have lived here for many many years over a parking pass

These people are in the business of towing cars. However, they also seem to pick and choose what cars to tow. I have called about several cars parked illegally and yet they fail to do so. I do not understand. When I questioned the office person, he says hes not the driver. But the office person plays the role of dispatch as well. If you are supposed to do your job, then do it.

This place not only scratched my car while towing it, but also checks apartment complex parking lots on weekends so they can charge a weekend fee. As if the person whose car is being involuntarily towed can choose when the company tows. On top of all that, while everyone is supposed to be home except employees for essential functions, this company is making sure to try and leech as much money from the community as they can DURING A CRISIS. Exceptionally terrible company to be avoided at all costs.

These guys prey on drivers who arent familiar with HOA parking regulations like vultures. Rude staff. I had my vehicle towed from one of MANY open visitor spaces at 5:30 a.m. after being there for less than 6 hours, the day I was flying out for a trip. They COMPLETELY refused to work with me on the storage fees despite my having been out of town... $200 to tow my vehicle less than five miles! PLUS, of course, the storage fees. These guys are Alpha-Hotels.

Terrible people, got my car towed when it was on visitor parking so I went to their office 3x to speak to a manager and they straight up told me they could only give me my car if I payed. I showed them proof of my car in visitor parking but they just kept on making excuses.

These people are extremely rude. They towed our car from the parking of our OWN house and we had the sticker of parking inside yet they do not care and still take cars. Once we arrive to their location they are unprofessional, rude and my car got a scratch last time from them.

When say poor value. I mean poor moral values. My father in law parked in an area where there was NO SIGN that displayed tow away zone. There were no numbers on the parking spots that would of suggested it belonged to anyone else. My mother lives in the SAME COMPLEX in a town home. We spoke with melissa who could not seem to explain why there were not proper singage displayed and why they would do this to people during covid 19. My mother is on a fixed income and can not afford $ 175. We plan to speak with the manager and hoping these gross actions will be rectified.

I have been towed 2x in the last month. But you know what, its my fault as to why.Each time they have released the car quickly and idk what these folks are talking about bad customer service ...both times Ive had to go..broke barely able to get my car out... they were professional and this time...even courteous.Facts are they have a job to do. They were hired to be parking enforcement and they do just that.Please note: cancer...broke....bills...no job etc etc....Its not their job to care about your personal problems ..we all have them. Im sorry if yall disagree but facts are... you gotta be responsible for your own vehicle and following lot regulations. Period.So take it easy on the guys in the field and at the window just being responsible for their job.I will add that the gentleman who checked me out Tonite went above and beyond when there was an issue with Visa. He didnt have to try to help by any means it was Visa having the issue not Dominion ..VISA....but he did..he went out of his way to help and I am eternally grateful for it ...you know ....Kindness goes a long way. Dont go up to the window cussing these guys because you failed at your responsibilities. Go pay your dues and get on your way. I give this company 5 stars. In a line of work disliked by so many they are still good folks.

How long does it take to take someone in an apartment with seems like hundreds of stairs.And no longer than a few minutes later; your car gets towed away. Saying that your driver towed it at 11pm & it’s 4am 🤷🏽‍♀️ Really tho!

Awesome tow company. They towed my car when I got stuck in a ditch due to black ice. Very professional and quick. They were able to retrieve my car with in 10 mins of being there. Thank you guys.

Unprofessional beyond belief! These people clearly are money hungry. My vehicle was parked in a VISITORS spot with a VISITORS pass and they towed it for “blocking” when the car was clearly in between the lines and not blocking a single thing. I had to follow the tower all the way to Dominion’s location from my neighborhood and when I spoke to the kid at the window, he simply refused to talk and told me I had to pay the $160 and shut the window. The person there didn’t awknowledge me, and said “I’m doing work”. When I noticed something damaged, I brought it to his attention and he said “the car’s fine, just take it and leave. Horrible experience. Will contact whomever I need to ensure going forward this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I mean its a towing service, nobodys going to like them but I suspect if youre going to them you dont really have another choice because your car is there. They got me in and out fast, granted it was early morning. Wouldnt go alone if youre a female. Very sketchy area. Car looked the same as it did before it was towed, thankfully, I had some issues turning my key and getting it to start but that may be because my car hates being towed.

If icould give a 0 i would, towed my car away for nk reason, tags were good, registration was good, parking permit was clealy posted and not expired. Guy at the desk gave me a fake complaint email no they do not have a complaint phone number. Sleezy ppl with unethical business practices. Pluse paid and extra $25 2 times when posted clealy on the front of the counter that it would be only 1 fee of $25.

These people are definitely crooks. They will find any excuse to tow your vehicle. Even if youre in the right, they still charge you for retrieving your vehicle.

This company towed our car right from in front of our townhouse in a legal parking space. We went to the clubhouse & they said they didnt call. These scam artists prowl to make a quick buck. When I called them, they said our bumper was past the yellow line & said it was $160 dollars to pick up the car!

Its sad this company feeds on people to make a living. I live in Winslow Chase Community in Woodbridge and they are out here EVERY NIGHT. I had a refrigerator delivered on 17 Apr 2019 and moved my car to the visitor parking so the delivery man could use my space as I did not want to park in neighbors parking spot. While I was assisting the delivery people inside my home with placement of refrigerator about 30 minutes. I went outside and noticed my car have been towed, . OMG! I have a parking permit in my back car window. I was told by the tow company that residence cant park in the visitors parking regardless of having a parking permit. Im a member of the community board for Winslow Chase and this is not true. A residence can park in visitors space for 2 hrs. I also question the employee at tow company about the tow truck agreement Winslow Chase has with their company. She claimed they cant give it out. If any agreement exist, it is outdated and should be revoked. We are under new management in Winslow Chase, therefore, Dominion should not be towing in this community. I plan to investigate this.

Dominion Wrecker Service provides towing services for HOAs, COAs and others that require towing enforcement services. People leaving negative reviews are those who have most likely been towed for violation of parking rules and regulation that are provided to all residents for where they live. Ive seen how rude and abusive that these people get when towed and it is not something you want to listen to. If they thought that the person they were dealing with was rude then it is a better than even bet the person leaving the review was even more abusive.Every wrecker operator that we have dealt with takes photos of all sides of the vehicles prior to towing to document the condition of every vehicle to provide evidence of any damage prior to towing. The claim of damage as the result of towing would be easy to prove if these photos were looked at.For those desiring Dominion Wreckers services the owner and management are friendly and easy to work with and in my experience never rude or anything but friendly.

They messed up my car after towing it and won’t take responsibility for the damage done to the car. They constantly monetor the neighborhood but won’t tow any one else’s car expect for mine even if the other cars are blocking people from being able to get out. The staff is rude and unprofessional.
