I had a very loud noise in my car and it kept getting louder. I was quoted by a major muffler shop that I needed a catalyst converter and o2 sensors. Quote was for $1100. I brought my car to George and they looked it over thoroughly. Come to find out that I only needed a exhaust pipe as well as o2 sensors. He also cleared all codes. They also flushed, tested and test drove my car for a power steering resovoir leak.With all work, parts and labor, my bill was extremely less than 1/2 of the quote from the other garage.George and his guys are A1. Fair prices and absolute quality work. Would highly recommend them to everyone. Thanks guys. Im driving around with a valid sticker now, very Happy.

I was hoping that all it would need would be a brake job. When I returned, approximately a day later, George informed me that the car was not at all serviceable and would be dangerous for me to operate, based on extensive rusting of the rear end.This is the kind of honesty I can appreciate it in a mechanic. Instead of seeing me as a walking dollar sign, George chose to lay out the straight truth instead.Following this experience, I had my 2003 Chrysler Town and Country towed in when it would not start. The prognosis from the AAA tow truck driver was that the fuel pump had died. Instead, George correctly diagnose the issue is a camshaft position sensor, replaced it, and I was back on the road two days later.Ive recently had a conversation with a young lady who was looking for a fair and honest mechanic, and had no reservations recommending George and the Holton Street Garage.

After a recommendation from my Dad and some stellar Google reviews I decided to get my front brakes done at Holton St Garage. George called me with the rough news that I needed new calipers and the price of the repair. He was patient when I asked for time to think about it. I ended up getting the repair done here at a reasonable price. Ive only driven 20 miles since the repair but so far my truck is stopping very well and any and all noises I used to hear are gone. I would absolutely recommend these guys and I will be going back next time I need repairs to mine or my wifes car.

George does a great job for a reasonable price, hes always busy but manages to squeeze me in & helps me out best he can. This garage is a gem. Honest man & trustworthy! Only two people I trust with my car & he is one! I have a 99 accord that needed new ball joint, motor mounts & now wheel bearings that I have/will (be) brought/bringing to him & he has always finished the job before the end of the work day at a fair price. Love him & this garage.

This garage is a gem. George serviced our Toyota Tundra truck quickly and at a reasonable rate. We had brought it to him after getting an exorbitant estimate for one part from a Toyota dealer. The truck is 11 years old and we didnt want to put more money into repairs if it was on its last legs. George assessed what needed to be done, gave us an estimate and had the work completed quickly. He predicted well get another 100,000 miles out of it. Even if the truck doesnt make another 100,000 miles, we feel that we have found the perfect mechanic - talented, honest and fair!
