Took a travel assignment with them back in 2016 and it was the worst experience I ever had in my 36 years as a traveling COTA. The facility canceled my contract without notice and it took me a week to get in touch with my recruiter. However, the day my contract ended, they sent me a text message saying I needed to be out of my apartment by 5:00pm that day, no exceptions. My contract had a no cancellation clause but they didnt care. In the end, I sued them in civil court and was awarded a large sum of money. After that, I retired from healthcare because all the companies were basically becoming them same. Im very happy in my new career and make more money, not to mention a real future.

Specifically ADAM is amazing! Great, clear, FAST communication and if he doesnt know the answer to a question he finds it out and follows up to tell you. Great guy and compared to other companies out there theyre a Unicorn (imaginary because theyre so awesome!) Weekly pay, fair hourly rates and dont jerk you around.

I am giving this company a 2 star rating due to my poor ending experience with my agent whose name I will kindly not mention because I am not an evil person. For my families best interest I had to rescind a contract to pursue a local full time job that was offered to me. Let it be know that my start date for this travel position was not for another 3-4 weeks, housing had not been found at this point, and it took them over a month to find me a placement that was in my best interest. I respectfully backed out and apologized for the inconvenience to only get told that my decision was wrong and that it was going to come back and bite me in the butt then I was hung up on by my agent. This was highly unprofessional and was not appreciated. I would be very cautious if you choose to try and work for this company. I do not recommend them.

I’ve been with National Staffing for about 3 months. It has been a pleasure to work with this site. My POC Justin has been so professional & very, very supportive. Every concern & question was answered in a very quick timely manner. A special thank you to this Agency.Nicholas Arellano

After my second interview I asked questions about precautions and procedures for the quarantine preventative procedures she answered a few questions for me and said that she would get back to me with further detail on those precautions and procedures that are in place inside of the office. when she called this morning she said that there were 50 people inside of the office at any given time and only four of which were masks. I made mention to her that during this mornings news a fifth variant of covid has now been discovered in Orlando and those practices are not safe. as I tried to explain to her how it was not safe she continued to talk over me and tell me how it is their prerogative and if they want to get sick they can if you want to work for people that are this unprofessional and a health industry you go right ahead but I personally understand anatomy and pathology and will never work for a company that tells me that its okay for me to not cover for covid.

My recruiter, Vince M., was one of the best from the first day we discussed my travel plans. He is attentive and delivered exactly what I was looking for in my next assignment. I highly recommend giving him a shout to book your next assignment. Thanks Vince!!!

For a recruiter role, my experience was very poor. We were expected to do 120 calls a day to various skilled nursing facilities and that was your chance of success. Every other place that I have interviewed at and my current employer has looked at me like I was crazy when I mentioned my day to day and they were not surprised why turnover is high and why I was let go. They honestly do not set you up for success and blame you for your failure. I make nearly double at my current role for the same amount of work they expected us to do. Working late a lot of nights and having little work/life balance is not worth being employed here.I didn’t realize until I left how unprofessional and trashy a lot of these account managers and recruiters were. The account manager I had in particular, was the most miserable and grumpy guy I have ever worked with. He was constantly condescending and hardly did any training for me to be successful. He really did suck the energy away from our team. (If a current employee reads this, you know exactly who I am referring to.)I will say if anything positive came out of this experience, it did greatly improve my public speaking skills and got me interested in other recruiting opportunities. I feel very comfortable talking on the phone now and I’m doing a great job at my current role.*Out of curiosity, I drove by the office and saw three large garbage compactors outside of the entrance so they may be closing down or laid off a good amount of people. Most of the recruiters I worked with left just a few months after I did. I saw the writing on the wall and they did too. I’m sure there are not going to be a lot of traveling nurses or therapists during COVID-19. Their health insurance is super expensive and housing is too. Imagine having a lot your per-diem money going to these things. Kind of takes away the whole point of traveling to begin with. If you are a therapist or nurse and are thinking of traveling, go elsewhere. I suggest Cross Country, Jackson or Med Travelers. We used their websites for reference. Go figure.

I will never ever work for this company again. They hired me to work in a rural area in which no one wants to go. They did not check on me at all during the entirety of the contract. When he did call so are you going to renew your contract, what happen during this interaction. Never considered that I was ask to do illegal things with this company. They didnt even call me the last week or last day of my contract. Ive never had a less responsive and profession company. DO NOT EVER WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. They have the worst health insurance. Its like 200 dollars a week and you still have to come out of pocket. They sent you information for IRAs, 401k but offer no matching at all. Thats crazy. They are the middle man. We are the talent as PT, OT, ST. Its time to stop making this companies rich and cut out the middle man. We can draw up our own contract to these organizations, get an LLC, and bill insurance for your own clients. Ive done it for years and my colleagues. Do not be fooled by their communication to get you the job. They will drop you once the ink has been signed. I will never work for National Staffing Solutions and I will never refer anyone to this company. If you are a therapist run far away from this company. You are just a number to this company.

This was my first travel placement as a COTA in Brooklyn and I will never go back to this agency again. It took me 2 months to finally obtain my background check from my recruiter to be sent to my facility so my name can be cleared and that I can finally clock-in properly without having to tell my Supervisor to manually put in my times. My recruiter was never there when I tried contacting her mostly during the work hours from 8-4pm or it will take her 2-3 days later for her to finally respond. In addition, after my last end date for my contract Sabrina never contacted me or followed up regarding my contract.

Wasted my time with submitting all of the documents require only to give me the run around. Never again will I work with them. These recruiters do not care about nurses because they sit behind a desk all day. They don’t have to be in the field exposing themselves to COVID-19. They quote rates that are lower then other travel agencies because they make more money then the professionals who are actually working...smh!

Maybe they treat nurses well, but I’m a speech therapist. My recruiter Mike is a very nice & professional guy and always tries his best with the responsibilities he has. Working with NSS has been a learning experience, especially about the world of business. I should have done more research into my placement locations before accepting. ZERO advocacy or support from NSS after my district broke several contracted obligations.

I work for this company 1yr and in the beginning but afterwards my recruiter just didnt meet my standards he would lie to me about the job assignment and also I didnt get reimburse for my traveling expenses, I drove my car on my expenses to the assignment over 745 miles to there, the recruiter stated I get paid after my assignment on my last check which never happened, stated I was over my budget and that I wont get paid for my traveling expenses. Was deducted my traveling expense fromMy pay check so my recruiter lied about me getting paid traveling expenses on my check.so if you work for them. Makes sure you get all the details about travel reimbursement they will not pay.

I highly recommend NSS because of their skills in matching the talent with appropriate work locations, timely responsiveness to employee needs, and their comprehensive care for those that they place, e.g., health insurance, scheduling flexibility for illness and/or family time. I am so grateful to work for them and highly encourage other medical professionals looking for locums or more permanent placement to also check out all that they offer!

What was done to me was totally against the uS labor laws. The branch I worked at did not even tell Corporate that I was employed by them. I have no W2.But I can prove that I was an employee at this office last year.My guess is that because I was injured on the job they retaliate by deliberately forgetting that I was employed by their company.I am seriously considering hiring a lawyer. If I could give it no stars I would.
