This place is by far the most incredible dental office you will ever be in. The staff is SO caring, considerate and helpful at all times. Dr. Alexa, Tanya and Gloria are such a wonderful team. I had an abscess under my bottom molar that was putting pressure on a major nerve, felt like my head was in a vise and the pain pulsated with my every heartbeat. Even with copious pain meds this was unbearable! Out of desperation I began calling any and all dentists in the area in the hopes that some one could help me. Gloria, a true Gem of a human being, managed to get me an appointment last minute, upon arrival I was looked after like family( the kind you like). Tanya, one of Dillard Street Dental’s wonderful Dental Assistants checked on me to make sure I was ok and to assure me that I would be looked after promptly and with great care.Dr. Matt Lasorsa is without a doubt exactly what you would hope for as your practitioner, professional, courteous and caring not to mention very skilled at his profession and with an empathy many in his position sometimes lack. Then there is Alicia, the assistant that I was fortunate enough to have at my side during the extraction process, this wonderful lady has a true gift for easing her patients anxiety, witty and charming while at the same time totally in control of any and all eventualities, while in Alicia’s care one feels as though they are the only patient in the entire building, Thank you dear lady! With an extreme fear of going to the dentist based off of a lifetime of terrible experiences, I was treated with an extremely high level of professionalism, patience and understanding. My phobia and past was taken under high consideration, and was treated tenderly during a grueling extraction of two teeth. Several personal accommodations were made to treat the needs of my unexpected pain in a timely manner as well as, follow-up care. Throughout the extractions, I was calmly talked to and regularly checked up on by the dentist every few minutes throughout an extensive and complicated extraction of a molar and angled wisdom tooth. During the procedure I felt as if I had complete control over what was going on as I was updated on each step of the process. After the timely procedure concluded, I was debriefed on follow-up care and never experienced any pain or dry sockets. The area has now healed better than I have ever expected. A great overall experience.
