An honest dental office can be hard to find - and its definitely not here.Only came here 3-4 times, but boy is this place alarmist and trying to take your money. They wanted to fill so many cavities, and charge for so many unnecessary procedures and medicine. Do not be afraid to say 1) is this covered? 2) how much will this cost? 3) no!Got referred to a different office by a friend - no cavities, no issues, see you in 6 months.

I got an emergency appointment even though I’d never been a patient there before.I was taken promptly to fill out paperwork.I found the desk staff to be friendly.I woman who took my x-rays and assisted the doctor was a pleasure to work with.I was surprised at how quickly the doctor went through his explanation of what the issue/s were,(both immediate and long term).He asked more than once if I understood him,(which I did).I found the woman who handles the financial arrangements very pleasant and helpful as well.If there were anything I thought that could have been improved I would say I did feel a bit pressured by the doctor to move on my longer term issues right away where it seems the outcome would be the same if done now or latter.This however would not stop me from returning as a patient.

Everyone was so helpful, from the front desk to the hygienist, the dental assistant and the dentist. Tien always gives me lots of information, Lisa always puts me at ease with her friendliness and Dr P always asks if I have any other questions. Everyone was knowledgeable and very professional.

Worst dental experience of my life. They are truly the Mcdonalds of dentistry. Staff misinformed me about procedure then tried to bleed me dry for more money. After almost of going back and forth with them, they finally resolved my issue. Staff is undertrained regarding procedures and just want money. Worst customer service experience of my life

I recently began the procedure for two implants and was pleasantly surprised as to how I felt afterwards. It was recommended that I take a pain reliever before the anesthetic wore off and to continue every 4 to 6 hours as necessary, but I found I didnt need any. I am a tiny bit sore but it is very manageable and I never bothered to take any more. I didnt even have any bleeding!The only reason I didnt give a fifth star was because I was not thrilled with having to pay for 60% of the cost when I made the appointment (a month away) and had to pay the balance before I went in to see the surgeon. I also did not know the completed cost of the completed implant (all the way to the finished crown) so I didnt really know how much the entire procedure was going to be. I still would have done it, but I would have liked the full information.

I had my first dental appointment there today since COVID. It was a very pleasant experience at the Woburn office. The hygienist, doctor, and assistant that saw me were all very gentle and kind. My cleaning was one of the better dental experiences Ive had in some time. They were honest and understanding when it came to my oral hygiene, health, and overall needs. I look forward to my next appointment.

I have had an excellent experience at the Woburn Aspen Dental office over the past two years. Tien Phan, RDH, is extremely professional, knowledgeable & pleasant. She takes the time to explain every detail of the work being done & has good suggestions on improving dental care at home.At my most recent visit during this pandemic all the staff were exceptionally cautious cleaning all spaces being used by everyone. I was very comfortable during my visit.

I have a broken tooth and my regular dentist can’t see me for a week.The second dentist I went to can’t pull my tooth, and the oral surgeon they referred me to didn’t have openings for any time l can come in.It was super easy to schedule an appointment with Aspen dental online and my bad tooth was taken out right away.Everyone was helpful and friendly. I am not sure what the bad reviews are coming from.

Fabulous team!I along with my wife and daughter been here for our annual dental check up, got our scaling and cavity filling for my daughter. The quality of the work is top notch, special kudos to Tien, I messed up with my appointment but she adjusted her schedule to accommodate, really impressive. Starting from front desk, Covid protocols- yes they sanitize and change everything between visits, crew, work, transparent costs.. these guys are just awesome.. I highly recommend this place.. thank you!

Aspen is the McDonald’s of dentistry, especially the Woburn MA office. Terrible hospitality, even more so after I advised how nerve racking it is for me personally. Dr. R Panakanti was possibly the worst dentist I could have seen in the office. He would continuously demand that I stop moving, crying, or breathe through my mouth. As I mentioned before, I advised them prior to sitting in the chair that I have a very difficult time with the dentist. Still as I sat there, he continued to yell at me. Yes yell. Not to mention my “one day procedure” took 3 days to complete over the course of a month. So what I initially was told should take several hours, ended up with me coming in two additional times which meant two additional days of torture. I’m not going into detail about the procedure and process but the pain and experience was torture for me. Additionally the medford office is also to blame because the two dentist at that location (unfortunately I do not recall their names) were also yelling and creating an unpleasant experience. I was asked to relax and calm down even after they acknowledged my fear. It angered me more that they began to speak amongst themselves in a foreign language while working on me. I am not fluent in the language they were speaking but enough to know they were saying some unpleasant things about me. In conclusion I called the corporate office to inform them that I would cover the cost of materials but refuse to pay for the procedure performed by said dentists.

I could File a Lawsuit against Aspen Dental in woburn mass and Win. A lawsuit based on Fraud. They lied to me, I got 2nd opinions from REAL DENTISTS and Discovered that Aspen Dental in WOBURN Mass Lied to me and tried to get me to Pay thousands of dollars. I saved the evidence. The paperwork from Aspen Dental and presented this to other Dentists and No Dentist could verify any of their Claims. It was all Lies and they were even trying to get me to apply for Financing through them to fix these problems that did not Exist. You either have a Cavity or you Dont. I have never had a Cavity. I have the Xrays to prove it. Keep away from this pathetic Dentist Office. They are a Scam. You have been warned. I went in there with no clue about moving forward on fixing my teeth and from the second I walked in I was treated amazing no questions were to small and they literally stayed with me every step of the way I cannot stress enough how amazing everyone that worked there treated me. The doctor was honest and straight forward the front desk was smiling and super helpful the girl giving me xrays and setting me up was so nice and informative the gum doctor who does the deep cleaning was amazing and also straight forward for once in my life I’m excited about going to the dentist!!!

Everything sounded to good to be true really thought I was going to get something done that day was left alone for about 15 min everyone disappeared come to find out my insurance was only $1,500 for the year and only covered cleaning. A few other minor stuff I wish I was provided some antibiotic or some recommendations on what to take for my pain on my tooth I wish they really got back to me on that . So if I don’t have the funds to do any work I recommend u don’t go to any dental facility, the break down for me was $ 12,000 that’s a lot of money to get your tooth fix other then that front desk is very nice and people there also I be searching for the right place from now that willing to take low payment at least to help someone like me that need a smile

Can’t really complain considering I went in with low expectations. I had an issue with a tooth, one that was causing me a lot of pain. I ended up being forced to take a bunch of xrays and photos of my teeth, I told them repeatedly that I wasn’t trying to become a long term patient, I just really needed them to look at my tooth. Well I saw the “dentist” for less than a minute and he gave me no advice on what could be wrong with my tooth. The “hygienist” told me about a lot of issues going on but refused to help me for the one reason I was there. She messed around in my mouth, the only actual dental care I received, but did nothing except roughly count my teeth, which caused my sore one to hurt way more. I would not advise anyone to come here. Went in with tooth pain, came out with WORSE tooth pain.

Wow! Incredible level of care from the start. My partner needed a tooth pulled and I started calling around to see who accepts his (very) basic dental insurance. After calling around the Boston/Cambridge/Somerville area and not hearing back or hearing that clinics did not accept his EPO, I was feeling discouraged. When I called Aspen Dental, the receptionist was warm and polite, confirmed that they accepted his insurance, and encouraged us to come in just a few hours, later that morning.My partner was in a lot of pain! And dental health can be scary for some folks due to fear of big bills or pain, and stigma around poor dental health. As soon as we walked in, the receptionists were welcoming and really positive about us being there. During his clinical visit, he says that every person he interacted with was understanding and kind, and never made him feel bad for not having come sooner. He felt good.Then it was time to talk finances with Judith Flores. She went over everything with us so patiently and thoroughly, and laid-out our options. Yes, we could have just taken care of the one tooth and be done with it. But it became clear quickly that this place wanted to see him get his mouth healthy and were going to make it financially feasible for him. We ended up leaving with a total plan of care and financing options that made it very doable for us. Judith rocks!He has already had a follow-up appointment and is feeling very positive about working with Aspen Health to get his mouth healthy. I am so grateful to this clinic - thank you!

The worst dental Ive ever met!!!I had a routine cleaning at this dental in Feb this year, and they strongly recommended that I get a night guard to prevent tooth grinding while I sleep, and they also mentioned its covered by my insurance and I dont need to pay.So I agreed to get one (Why not? Its free). A few weeks later I came to the office to do a custom fit mold and a few weeks later I pick it up.However, later I got a bill from them which I own them $610. I called them and they said the claim was denied by my insurance company and what they said was just an estimate, not the exact amount I need to pay for.I called my insurance company later and they said night guard was not covered. I feel like its a big ripoff, and theres no evidences (no recordings) to prove what they said.I called them again and theyre willing to cut half of the amount after talked to regional manager, so I need to pay $350 for a custom fit night guard.I searched online and theres a lot of story like this so its a common scam. You wont take more than 1/3 of the price to get a custom fit night guard online from Amazon.Be aware and stay away from this dental.My dental office is at Woburn, MA and I will switch immediately.

I initially went to this Aspen Dental upon the recommendation of a friend.I needed a tooth removed, like a lot of other people it had been quite a while since I had seen a dentist. They got me in quickly and removed the tooth. Every move was explained to me step by step.In addition to the extraction, I set up appointments for much needed work on the rest of my teeth. They have a pretty affordable payment plan.

Im just want to say that I have been experiencing the best treatment. I have had several appointments and numerous more to come. The staff is very friendly and genuinely excited for you that you have taken the step to fix your teeth.Aspen truly makes it easy to make the decision without total apprehension about affordability. I have know for some time I needed major work done, but kept putting it of due to the expense and lack of a decent financial program to help you to help your dental health. Even on their credit card payment offerings, the monthly payment was still out of affordability.I have to say Thank You the Aspen Dental Team. I could go on and on. They confirmed that my insurance fully covers the teeth cleaning before I got it done, but after a week I received a bill in the mail. When I went back to ask about it, I was told that the insurance didnt cover it and I have to pay the bill in full. When I asked why didnt they didnt tell me the same before I got the treatment the person just said they dont know and just re-submitted my insurance claim.Their website says that they take Blue cross Blue shield dental and they just randomly confirmed me that my insurance will be covered without even checking.I wouldnt suggest Aspen Dental. If by any chance you have to get treated here be very careful before getting anything done here.

While visiting my daughter in Massachusetts, I had to see the dentist. I visited Aspen Dental in Woburn and was very pleased with their professionalism, care, and treatment. The receptionist was very polite and outgoing, helping and explaining what procedures they would do that day, and what would be covered by the insurance. Dr. Thompson, Dr. Baskies, and the surgeon, as well as their staff were all very patient with me. They explained very thorough all the procedures to be done. Even thou I live in Florida, I am going back to finish my dental work and at the same time enjoy visiting my grandchildren. Chris and Maria keep smiling.:) Thanks!

They pressure you into getting dentures, and saying that you can still eat all the foods that you currently do now, and there is money back guarantee so what is there to lose?When you first get your teeth extracted they give you something called healing dentures, something that should allow you to eat while your gums heal.During the sales pitch they show you 3 levels of permanent dentures: Good, Better and Best; each of them having a different price.Now comes in the unethical move, let’s say you get the Best like I did. You pay for all the work and dentures upfront before any work has been done. They give you a detailed printout of the receipt. It shows lots of line items so it’s hard to notice that they put the price of the permanent dentures onto the healing dentures and make the perm dentures on the receipt as being free.Now, when you start using them that is when you notice that you cannot eat all the foods.Now, when you return them for the money back, they require both dentures to get your money back, and now you have no teeth to eat.He also stole my gold crown and I wrote his company a letter saying that; then magically he replaced the crown for free.I am currently getting new dentures from a different place and they are using a different technique, Which makes me wonder if the dentist at AspenDental even has medical license. If he does, then are they practicing proper healthcare procedures or are they taking too many shortcuts to make a quick buck.

My experience was years ago and comparatively mild after reading others outrageous experiences, but it still hits my outrage nerve at least 4 times a year.The first routine cleaning on a new insurance plan, I picked the closest office on the insurance list. When the finance office is the first place you are funneled to, you know something.s fishy!! There was some high pressure to sign some documents or I could not see the dentist. Discussion of financing options which I saw no need for since I was there for a cleaning and there is usually no charge for 2 cleanings a year on every insurance plan I have had. The hygienist tells me I need a deep cleaning which is $1500. Excuse me? Every dentist I.ve seen in the last 10 years tells me how nice my teeth are and how impressed they are with my dental health. Ok, I will think about the procedure. For today, let.s just do the regular cleaning.Oh no...that would be like throwing a coat of paint on a collapsing building.... (What the what?!)....we will not do inadequate job when you need a deep cleaning. I guess we.re done here. Oh before you go, we.ll take your xrays. I saw no reason for this since they were not treating me, but they assured me they would forward the xrays to the dentist I chose, so I went along with it. Now I see they are highly trained to squeeze every nickel they can out of the insurance company or any source for that matter. I left the office with a burning sense of injustice and outrage at the treatment I endured. Half a day of vacation time wasted and I still didnt have my teeth cleaned!They never did send my xrays when requested. I reported them to the insurance company to make sure they did not pay Aspen MENTAL for the cleaning and recommended they drop Aspen Dental as a provider. By the way, the next dentist saw no need for a deep cleaning (nor have the 2 other dentists I.ve seen since).

I went to this place because is close to my house, but I wont go thereever again. The staff is nice.The dentist is not an honest man, he told me that I needed a certain procedure. I had my doubt so I went back to my old dentist and she told me that I dont need a crown, that my tooth only needed a refill. They only care about money and not the patient.

Not happy at all with the Woburn Aspen Dental office. Took my elderly mother for dentures, spent over 3 hours there. They (within seconds) were more than happy to charge her credit account for the dentures but she was not happy with the service and called the next day to cancel. They told her and myself it would take a week to 10 days to see the credit on her account. It has now been 14 days and still no credit. When I called them and spoke to the same people, they said they didnt know who said a week to 10 days but that it would take 1 to 2 billing cycles!!! so it could take up to 2 MONTHS to credit her account!!! That is absolutely BAD customer service!!! I would never recommend this dental office to anyone simply for this reason. They said there was nothing they could do at this point. Terrible customer service!

I just think taking 60% of a deposit 6 weeks before any work is done is unreal! At the very least, you should let the client pay that at the time of their first visit when the actual work is done.Also, get rid of the wrist blood pressure monitors: they are unreliable. The girl who did mine took it off before any reading was displayed and wrote in my chart 176 over 90 something which is absolutely ridiculous! I go to my primary physician 2ce a year and have NEVER had those readings . I do not have high blood pressure and am not on any medication for it. Yes, I know people get white coat blood pressure reading when they go to see doctors, etc . but not me. I have worked in the medical field for years and they do not make me nervous or intimidate me.Also, I am having extractions and crowns and the dentist did not tell me which ones would be pulled and which ones would be crowned. More explicit explanations would have been nice!Other than that, employees seemed nice.

This is the worst place ever to visit for your dentist work. They kept scaring me with all the work I needed right away. This place has no privacy. I am allowed for a free cleaning via my insurance but this place wanted me to buy an extra care and wont do free cleaning if I dont buy extra care 69.99. They wanted me to buy expensive brush from them. This was more like a sales place. People were very inexperienced. I could hear in the next seat someone else getting a same scary speech about there teeth not a word different. I ran out as fast as I could. Get a lawyer if you decide to go there as inexperienced people might ruin your mouth.

I went to Aspen Dental in Woburn after almost 10 years of no dental work. The first visit required the pre-work check-ups, where they checked my gums, did X-rays, and checked for cavities. They scheduled follow-up appointments and set me up on a regimen to clear up gingivitis issues. The products that they offered worked really well (I have no gum swelling at all now!), did irrigation and a cleaning, and they dealt with 5 small cavities over the course of two visits. They were always professional, quick about the services, and made me feel comfortable instead of guilty for skipping 10 years of cleanings. I would recommend them to anyone based on my experience.

I would not recommend Apsen Dental. I had an 8am appointment arrived at 7:55 to a dark waiting room. A very nice woman, jherlynn, turned on the light and welcomed me. It went downhill from there. The receptionist arrived at 8:05am in a really bad mood. Without asking who I was, she raised her voice and told me it would cost me over $600 today. Funny my first time there. She then handed me a clip board ans said fill this out, still not in a good mood. Now its 8:30, the hygenist asked me to come in back. She explained their process and said as soon as the dentist gets there, he was in traffic, we would get started. The dentist did arrive, looked in my mouth and said I need 3 crowns and other work. This is before an xray was taken. Now it is 9am and Im sitting in a chair watching the staff clean up. At 9:30 finally the office manager comes in and says our computer is down so we cant quote you. I asked does that mean you are not going to help the broken tooth I can in for? I told her this was the worse experience I had from a dentist. Just to let you know if you need a root canel, you get to referrals. Their staff only does basic dental procedures. THIS IS A RIP OFF!!

BEWARE! I went to have a filling repaired on an emergency basis. I went to the officeas a new patient. I filled out the forms and HIPPA (Privacy) regulations form.had xrays, then was moved into the dental chair. I heard all the conversations around me. NOT PRIVATE. I knew about the conditions of 3 other patients in the 5 minutes I sat in the chair, then all those poor patients whose privacy was invaded got to hear about my personal tooth conditions. I was embarrassed for them and for myself.THEY DONT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING, BUT YOUR WALLET.I was told one thing, had the service done during the cleaning, then after it was completed I was told I did not really need the service to begin with. HUH?! I am all for preventative care. It is my health, but really?

It was good, dr p was willing to tailor treatments around my preferences when possible.even though you are a corporation and a chain things were on a personal and friendly bases.you could back off a little on the follow up.i got a how were we on my cellphone and also now at my email.today i got a now make an appointment to continue. i was there friday and this is tues. too pushy.

I have had multiple billing issues with this office that took months to resolve. They told me they would replace my mouthguard but did so with a cheaper version that wore out in 6 months. The dentist is overbooked and my family will no longer be going here.

I scheduled my first appointment with this clinic on last Saturday for Monday afternoon.I got confirmation message today morning.Then I got call saying they cant keep my appointment, they have to reschedule it.I asked why suddenly, i took day off today to keep appointment.Then lady said, they have some renovation going on.I asked, i schedule appointment just day before, didnt you know about renovation.She didnt reply.I asked do you have any available appointment for today.She replied, she has 3 pm appointment available. She can book that one for me,BUT SHE WAS NOT SURE IF THEY ARE OPEN TILL 3 PM. I asked, how can you book again for 3 pm, if you guys arent open? She didnt answer properly.I dont know she was high or what, but completely unprofessional and dont even know what she was talking.🤡made herself fool.Clinic And doctor like this cant be my dentist.

I havent been to the dentist in a couple of years, which i was embarrassed about but the staff made me feel right at home. I was greeted and taken back right away with no wait, its almost like they were excited to have me there which made me feel more comfortable. I saw a dental assistant, a hygienst and the doctor. They did a full mouth exam and were very professional considering i havent been in a few years. The doctor and office manager were very informative and i knew exactly what i needed done with no confusion. They had an opening that same day and got me right in for a cleaning which i was thrilled about. I will continue going to aspen dental from now on and would reccomend them to any friend or family member. Thanks Aspen team for taking away my fear of the dentist! You guys are great!

BEWARE OF ASPEN DENTAL:I went in there for an emergency. My filling had come loose and was in so much pain my blood pressure was high. And even after checking my BP they didnt do anything to treat my pain at all. Instead they told me how much work I needed to get done aside from what was currently going on with my hurting tooth, $4,000 in dental work which I would need to pay on the date of service!!! I dont have dental insurance, if you think I could afford that much to pay out of my pocket then I could probably afford to get dental insurance on my own IDIOTS!I went to a different dentist who treated my problem on the same day and was told I didnt need the dental work they said I needed. He also said he has dozens of patients who went to Aspen Dental and was quoted thousands of dollars for dental work they didnt need.These people are all about commission. Whether you have insurance or not I absolutely DONT RECOMMEND ASPEN DENTAL!

Ive been attending this dental practice for almost 4 years. I find the staff very helpful and the service very prompt. My regular dentist is Dr Thompson. She is always very friendly, helpful and professional.On my latest visit I had to have a filling fixed. I was attended to byt the PSR (Krissy), the DA (Golpana) and Dr Baslues. The service was quick and efficient as always.
