I love this place. I needed a front headlight assembly for a 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan. NAPA price was $107.00 for the new light. I found an exact match for $36.50. It took me less than 5 minutes to remove and the same amount of time to install in my van. The workers were all very nice and seemed genuinely interested in helping me find the location of the match vehicle. Each time I come here I am not disappointed. I did look online to see if a match was available. They are the best at what they do, have parts less than you will pay at retail.
Thanks to the company and staff for the Labor Day sale. And thanks to the attendant that voluntarily assisted in removing and unneeded item from off a part. Great staff and great positive attitude. A good bet to helping all you DYIers. Much respect
Love this place! Well organized. Friendly and helpful staff. Free access for military/vets and responders; token admittance fee for general public. Highly recommend.
My experience wasnt so great here. Pull-A-Part prides themselves in being unorganized. Its all over there website. You have to pay to go into the yard. So, they cant tell you if they have your part, they charge you to go into the yard, and send you into the yard to figure it out for yourself. So, I paid to spend 30 minutes trying to find the right car (they did tell me they only had one), only to find it was the wrong trim level, and didnt have my part. It stinks to pay to get the wrong answer. Its like playing the lottery, you pay money hoping you get the result you want, but theres no guarantee.
Lot of cars to choose from. Wheel barrows available to haul your parts.. Pull your own parts and save some cash. My go to for used parts.
Best junkyard around for used auto parts. Great staff. Very helpful when needed. Always a great selection of cars to pull parts from.
I like the place . I like the service an also the place is clean an to be a junkyard its in good shape an service is great as well . if you need parts for any make or model I suggest to definitely drop by and pick up any part in every part
Have bought several parts when they first opened and prices were good. The last couple of times I have been there, including today, paid one dollar to get in(normal for member) spent 30 minutes removing the part I needed, went to the counter to pay and the parts were 10% above NEW retail price so I left them on the counter. This has been my experience the last three times I have been there and I would advise checking with Amazon or Ebay first. I will not be returning to pull a part. The cashier was rude and told me it was my choice to buy and showed me on his phone that it was cheaper on Amazon so I told him he could keep it. I guess getting nothing to them is better than giving their customer a good price on a used part.
You have to pay just to walk into the yard they can tell you if they have the car your looking for but dont know anything about them. You could pay to go look at a completely stripped out car. No cash refund to only store credit if your part doesnt work. They had a cop just sitting up there waiting on something to go down must happen pretty frequently im guessing because they are ripping people off I will never go back here and I have 60 buck in store credit also. They are a little high on prices to. The employees are not friendly and not helpful
Normally they really great but I had a problem recently was trying to buy used wheels and tires that were non-street legal the website shows them at $14 but when I got there went to the trouble to remove them they charge me roadworthy price I ended up leaving them there after taking all the time to remove them. Disappointed
Every thing you need for your car, truck or van, of any make or model of any vehicle you can find it all here in one spot. In the three times Ive been there I was very impressed, easy to get all of your parts from a lightbulb, to an engine they have it all. I will recommend this place to any and all who need to have parts.
This place is getting worse. You can barely walk down the lanes there’s so much junk everywhere. They never have any wheel barrels, so it’s nearly impossible to carry your tools and parts back. All the wheel barrels I saw today belong in the dumpster.
Has got to be ths cleanest junk yard Ive evdr visited, everything is up off the ground so it makes for an easy access to the parts you need an all the cars are sorted so you dont have to walk the entire yard looking for parts, prices have went up as of late but so has every other business in the last yr
Very nice employees, always have good prices. Me and the fiancee was there looking for parts for her scion tc. We had some trouble getting a few parts off and one of their workers named charles came and helped us get the parts. He was very knowledgeable and professional.
Today was my first time visiting pull a part. It wasnt a very good experience. We checked in and the girl was very rude and rushing us. She didnt take time to help or explain anything. We wanted to rent a golf cart and the guy at that station was so rude. He stood there just looked at us and said someone will be here when they are done. My husband and I looked around and both the ladies had a line of people. He said he was buying cars but there was no cars in sight. The manager really needs to teach that man and girl some manners or find people who actually want to work and help people. We will NOT BE BACK!
They require you to wear a mask at this junkyard and will gladly sell you a 5 cent mask for $1:00.The owner of this place is a poor excuse for a human being.
Never will I go to pull a part again. The manager is very rude very unprofessional. And will do what ever they can to cheat you out of your money. Today was the last visit I will ever make there. I advise/warn for you to stay away. Even if it means paying a little more somewhere else for your part. If you buy a car sometimes it takes months for them to get your paperwork right so you can get it legal and register it. Very bad place ran very poorly by uneducated people who shouldnt be dealing with the public. If you get taken you were warned.
Went through the whole paper process, test drove it, got the keys and was getting ready to check out and they said they couldn’t sell the car. got a Uber down there and everything spent 3 hours just for them to tell us that they couldn’t find it in the system and it was supposed to be taken for scrap and they couldn’t sell it to us, worst first car buying experience ever.
Got the part I needed easily!
Pull-a-part is one of the best to go get what you want. The grounds are clean organized and all the vehicles are up off the ground. If you cant find what you want give them your information and they will contact you as soon as they get what you want
I love Pull a Part. But on my last visit I was very disappointed. One of the great things about the yard is how easy it is to locate your car. But our yard in Winston Salem has very few white row stickers on the cars and it makes it hard to locate your vehicle. Some rows are marked with an orange marker and some cars not marked in all. I am not the only one who is disappointed in this. I hope the district manager can help us out.
Good people good prices
This is place is terrible, I have been to several pullaparts, by far the worst one. You would think with set pricing online you wouldnt have much of a problem. The employees are not trained well, and cant tell one part from another, they charge you for incorrect parts or try to add in stuff you dont have. If you try to correct them they get a horrible attitude with you.
Great place. I wish all salvage yards were as organized and as easily accessible as Pull A Part. Easily search the inventory online so you know exactly where to go when you arrive. Saves tons of time. Check-in is easy, staff is friendly and helpful here too (rare at salvage yards). Wheelbarrows available for free to cart stuff around and golf cart rentals if you need something a bit bigger. Car rows are easily identified and pulling parts is easy. Prices are extremely fair and a 30 day return policy makes sure you have the time to install your parts and insure they work. About as easy as it gets. They also seem to turn over their inventory reasonably fast so if you show up, you can usually be confident the car youre looking at isnt just bare bones with nothing left.Love this place.
Amazing folks. Always helpful and knowledgeable
Getting car parts of specific needs for your car, just bring your own tools or rentto pull off your desired parts.
Had the parts I needed and the staff was very helpful and friendly
Great customer service and have very decent prices
I absolutely love renting the golf carts so i can get thru the entire lot with relative ease. Not to mention i can tote my tools & parts without breaking my arms.
Always a good experience when I come here staff is always friendly not rude when asking you to put on a mask 10/10 cant beat the prices jist wish they had a little longer warranty option. I tend to buy transmissions and engines when they become available even if I dont need it yet. some times its months b4 I get to install the parts and if they are bad its like pulling teeth to exchange it.. I wouldnt mind paying an additional 40$ for a 6 month warranty option
Awesome..... 5 🌟
I needed parts yesterday so i went to my local pull a part and was refused service because i cannot wear a mask due to medical reasons. i spoke with 3 different employees including the manager all of which told me they didnt care about my condition that i had to comply with their mask rule or i could not enter the outdoor junkyard. I have had no such issues at other places i shop but the breeze through carport entrance at pull a part is having no part in recognizing actual medical/disability laws put in place to stop discrimination against those who are disabled. just another company willing to violate medical laws to enforce the governments suggestion to wear a mask that they themselves admit doesnt do any good nor do they wear it themselves. but hey, its not about the customer, its about the dollar...
If you are looking for GM products. Its literally half the lot
Shifty stacks but good load man
I would give zero stars if it was an option. I went to this place with my parents, so we could all get some parts for our different vehicles. When we enteted, the guy said we needed a mask. We informed him that we all have respiratory issues. He said no exemptions. I know its private property, but you do not have a right to discriminate against people with medical issues, because of your irrational fear of a virus that hasnt even killed 10,000 HEALTHY Americans. We went to 109 u pull it afterwards. Nobody was wearing a useless mask. Nobody bothered us and forced us to ignore our medical issues. Pull a part has lost my business and I plan on talking to a lawyer about their egregious disregard for individual safety and rights.
The customer service is great as long as you dont have Tara to assist you. She walked away from her register so she wouldnt have to help customers and left the girl helping me. She stated this was her first return i told her take your time.
Great Facility. Very Courteous. Juan Is Great!
My favorite junkyard. Every yard should operate this way! Staff are friendly and very helpful.
Best place to find a quick salvage part, love their UI on the website, everythings easy figure out, can find some hidden gems on the lot occasionally
Went looking for 97 ranger parts said they had one on 220 looked all over no 97 ranger at all but took my $2 to get in even tho they didnt have what i needed
Staff is super friendly and they have a great system to guide you to the car you are looking for
Nice to have room to remove parts
Great prices had a 2006 maxima door same exterior color as mine def will go there in the future
Fair prices and good inventory on parts and used cars.
Was trying to sell an old car to them. The dispatcher, when I set up the appt, did not tell me that the wrecker driver was going to show up with some iPad/Tablet that he wanted to scan my drivers license in to. I have proven to him by presenting my drivers license that I AM the registered owner of the vehicle. Thats all thats required legally. For him to scan the front and back of my drivers license into some tablet, that I have NO idea what kind of security is present on, or where it goes after it leaves my driveway, is a major, major identity theft red flag.If they would have told me that this is a requirement up front I would have saved them a trip, but they didnt. So your wrecker driver wasted a trip. Perhaps some customer service re-training is needed at Pull-A-Part.
This place used to be ran decently, now the prices has risen and the service is horrible just like most big businesses are getting nowadays .
Their place is organized clean and the parts are not bad
Id give it 0 stars actually
Great place for cheap parts, but some parts are oddly more expensive than brand new replacements, though rare...
No long wait time went in found part we needed. Fast friendly check in and check out
Good experience, decent prices!
Its expensive for used parts
Place was well organized and good prices on car parts
Got some parts for my car, really easy to find parts for your car and staff really friendly.
This morning was the 1st time weve been here. They have a big selection of cars to choose from. I really enjoyed being treated like I was wanted, and the one on one help that my husband and I received from the lady at the register. I believe she said her name was Sara. She was so helpful, knowledgeable, sweet and friendly. We will definitely be going back very soon.
Getting to know the staff there has been great! The methodology of sales makes parts much cheaper. That means that they only inventory vehicles, not the parts that are those vehicles. They have never sold unpunctured fuel tanks(for environmental reasons), and they (like all of this type of salvage yard) no longer sell air bags. The yard staff are usually accommodating to request for engine hoists & forklifting parts to the front. Once you get used to their policies, most shopping is a breeze. Also, No Jacks are allowed on the yard!
Knowledgeable staff. Fair prices. Good selection
The woman at the counter was very rude.
An honest place to get OEM used parts for a small fraction of what itll cost basically anywhere else. Make sure to check the map because their in lot signage isnt really accurate.
5 Star pull a part, can rent golf carts to get around and hold tools and parts
People there are great as always.
Ive never seen a place like this I keep trying to call this place to see if they have the part Im looking for and no one answers I dont wanna drive a hour away and them not have my part they dont wanna pay people to answer the phone. If you dont take calls you wont sell parts people dont wanna come to your bissnes for nothing
Awesome place easy to get to what ever u need!
I forgot how much I liked pull a part. I live closer to 109 u pull it so I find myself going there more often. Until today, pull a part has so much better service and an awesome staff!!A round of applause to you guys!!! THANK YOU PULL A PART TEAM
The two younger guys I talked to at the front desk were very rude. They have no business In a customer service role. They gave very short answers. People skills were terrible. They acted like helping me we the last thing they wanted to do. Arrogant teenagers. This was on 07-30-2019. I will never go back. They charge you to walk in and look. If the parts you want are already missing from the cars on the lot, youre just out the money for nothing. Go anywhere except pull a part. Other scrap yards are free entry and have a knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Great!! Went in !got what I needed! And left ?? Clean#strat##
VERY NICE COSTUMER SERVICE,GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!
If youre handy with tools, Pull-A-Part can save you some serious money. The yard is clean and well organized, divided into sections for GM, Ford, Chrysler, and imports. Most of the cars on the lot are about 10-25 years old. The staff can help you locate cars that may have the parts you need when you can check in, but you can also do it yourself on their Website before you go. They can tell you the year, make, model, row number and date the car came on the lot, but they cant tell you exactly what parts remain on any particular vehicle. Inventory turns over on a regular basis and cars only stay on the lot for a few weeks before going to the crusher. Parts are sold at very reasonable prices, compared to normal retail. Prices are standardized regardless of brand or condition. Parts carry a 30-day exchange (no money back) guarantee. If the part doesnt work, you can bring it back for a merchandise credit. You need to bring your own hand tools and be prepared to spend the time and effort to take the part off yourself. The good part is that by the time you have removed the part, you have a pretty good idea of how to install it on your own car.
5.0 stars i really liked it
Being a lady I myself had a really time finding what I wanted and being able to take off the part I was looking for
Every place is organized and they have wheel barrows and golf carts ready
This was the only place I buy my used parts but the staff don’t have any personality any more very rude and like turning customers away i will never come back very disappointed in the establishment now will be going too lkq for now on i recommend you do the same
Love pull a part
Didnt like ended up getting beaten 30 time s a minute
The staff were just chit chatting and were less concerned about customer service. One of the coworkers had the audacity to make fun of my purchase. I feel like they need to supervised because theres no manager to be seen.
Great price safe place to by parts
Organized but a bit expensive.
Pull-A-part had the items i needed for my car. I am looking to return again in the near future.
You can find good used parts at reasonable prices.
I have been going here since they opened. I really like them. For a junk yard, they are great. You typically dont wait. You can roam and check everything out. I have saved a lot of money. TIP.. buy the warranty, always, just in case. Why are people complaining about spending a dollar? You are saving a lot of money. Try calling a traditional junk yard and see the prices. I know 4 in the area personally and you WILL pay more! Great place!
I called ahead to make sure they had a part I was looking for. They did. Great. Then I was offered a coupon to get in for free. This coupon never showed up in my email inbox or spam folder. Understandable. I was told that they would not make an exception without showing the coupon. I paid the entrance fee only to find out they none of the cars they had actually had my part. I was then told that I would not receive my $2 fee back even though no coupon was sent and my part was not there. Poor business practices! These people do not put the client first!
Went to pull a part looking for a fuel tank. Wen my wife and i arrived we asked about the part and the told us that the tanks had a Thumb sized whole but when we found the part it looked like they had taken a ax to it. when we brought it to there attention they said yea we knew after letting us walk around for a hour. i would rate 0 stars if i could. winston salem needs to step it up.
I went to Pull-A-Part for evap system parts for my vehicle. I know getting these parts from a junk yard can be risky given the unknown condition. I was pleased to learn that they give credit if you get a bad part. Thats very fair. When I arrived I was impressed with how organized they were. There are terminals there to look up the vehicle inventory. The cars are easily located in sections and rows that are mapped out. With the free VIP card it only costs a dollar admission. The cars are securely elevated off the ground so parts can easily be accessed for removal. I tested the parts when I got home and found them all to be in working order. The prices were so much cheaper than the auto parts stores so I saved a ton of money. When I was walking through I noticed wheelbarrows were available to transport tools and parts. I saw an engine puller in the yard. Its so convenient. Ill go there before I go to the auto parts store.
I used to enjoy going, but after what one of my buddies got paid for a complete vehicle that went there, in my own personal opinion, they are Over priced on alot of things. I understand you gotta make some profit for labor and such, but dont try to make it all on one person. Then if that isnt enough, I might as well pay a environmental fee for entering the yard as well. I personally dont think I should be paying for something that PAP should have taken care of already, so really its hard to tell how many times Ive paid for that over 2 of my vehicles. Staff needs to be trained a bit better, I taken a part back the other day, guy told me, I didnt buy that part within the last 30 days, as he hands my receipt back,..I said yes sir, I got it less than a week ago...he called it one part, someone else calls it something else. I could keep going about other visits, but it will not make any kind of difference, nothing will be different.
Clean facility....easy to locate parts. Was impressed.. good prices $$
Very nice place to get mad parts at for a decent price too
Been there numerous times! Friendly staff during my visits.Only issue I have is with the $1.00 if u have their loyalty card $2.00 if u dont ADMISSION fee to b allowed onto the yard! I know its not much money but REALLY? I think if u decide to get a LOYALTY card they should allow those customers to enter the yard without the ENTRANCE fee and those without choosing the card to pay! Again its only $1.00 but to me it makes pull-a-part seem greedy! Maybe they should donate their monthly profits from this ENTRY fee to the a local Charity of the MANAGERS choosing! What a wonderful way to give back to the community! I then would b honored to pay the FEE knowing it would help others! 😄
Best place to get good used parts.
Excellent salvage yard. The staff are all friendly and are there to help you find the right vehicle. They are not there to help you fix your car. They do a great job of turning the cars over frequently so that you dont end up with picked over carcasses. They are the cleanest and best organized parts yard I have ever seen.
Super luxury on the golf carts. Cores much cheaper than other pick your part places and lots of parts are too. Just need more 2010 up stuff.
The all area is clean in comparison to the other junk yard just Im disappointed with the sealer of wear mask 4 dollars for one mask in the store we pay 5 dollars for 10 mask incredible
I was trying to fine out about a part for my jeep an it keeps on say its close an it only 3:00p
The low stars are for customer service,I go to this place quite often the yard is very organized and clean lots of good parts and prices are excellent, the customer service just absolutely sucks.its always some sarcastic remark to a question or they treat you like a thief..as an owner of a business treating your customers with respect is number one.
Great guys, I was pulling my parts out of an 07 Nissan Sentra, and I needed more tools. So I left the yard to go get tools from my truck and when I got back the car was taken off the yard. So I went back to explain that I getting some parts and they help me out and brought the the car back
Got all the parts we needed to fix a gently wrecked 01 Saturn. Friendly staff.
Wow!I needed 2 crossbars for my luggage rack on my 04 Dodge Grand Caravan. I could spend over $200.00 new or find them used. I went to the Pull-A-Part website and loved their search by vehicle and parts pricing.I went to the location, found my vehicle, which was easy, since the vehicles are in numbered rows separated by make of vehicle. I brought my own tools, found the crossbars, had them off in 10 minutes, checked out, total cost: $ 19.00 !The experience couldnt have been any better. I told the manager I would be back.As far as some of the other reviews, if they dont have the car you want, dont go. Also, dont expect their phone service to give you information about a specific part, which would be impossible to catalog and inventory. This place does what it is designed to do: offer parts at crazy low prices, end of story.
This is a place where you can bring your tools and pull your parts at an affordable price. The admission price is $2. but before you pay you can search for your specific car on 2 search. Computers they have in the entrance. Also they have cold Gatorade. and water for free.
