Off of some very busy roads, ultimately worth it for the quality of service. Plenty of parking. Even after repairs were complete they obliged my request of checking the windshield washer fluid sprayers that they may or may not have disconnected during repairs previously. Very grateful. Highly recommended.

Ian’s was excellent from start to finish, they were the cheapest estimate around the area of the well known body shops I called. My car looks brand new and they even washed and vacuumed it for me as well! The ladies in the office were very efficient and helpful, Mark the head of shop or estimator was also spot on. They pushed to have mine done in a timely manner. Only downfall is they were about 6-7 weeks backed up, however you probably won’t find much better right now in the current economy.

Ians Body Works did an awesome job on the body repairs/paint job on my car. Even though the repairs were minor this time, they treated me with the same professional manner, courtesies, and great customer service as when Ive had major repair work there. Right from the start, they set the expectation of when the repairs would be done and provided updates as needed. The staff was easy to work with and very proficient at the paperwork, making a stressful situation less so.

Went to Ians body shop for a side view mirror that was needing to be replaced. Someone was supposed to call me within 2-3days. They never did call. I took my business somewhere else. They acted like they didnt want to help me anyway. Even if they couldnt find a replacement, a follow-up call would have been nice. I wont be back.In response to your reply: A female employee came out without a mask, and confirmed my phone number, which was my cell. I never received a call from your business and I waited at least 2 weeks before going elsewhere. I will not be back nor recommend your business!!

I’ve been here 2 times for repairs on 2 separate vehicles. The quality of their work is outstanding. Both times they exceeded my expectations. The staff is friendly and their quotes are straightforward. The only drawback for me was the prices; they seem more expensive than other local shops. But afterward I felt okay paying a premium for top-notch quality.

Sorry.I cant let the owner get away with this response to my review. She is the one that meets and greets your customers as they enter your business as well as answers your phone. If you think any customer much less a new customer wants to be treated in this unprofessional manner, i think you are wrong. You never once apologized for the behavior of your employee. Instead you actually try covering for her? You never once said you would fix it? I guess you view new customers as easy come easy go and it doesnt matter if a customer feels wanted or welcome in your place of business. I quess its your business and you can run it how you please. I just want everyone to know my experience.This was my first time with an accident and my first experience with Ians. The woman answering the phone and kinda running the front of the house was extremely rude and completely unhelpful in any way. I tried to ignore the rude behavior the first couple of times but after 3-4 times it was obvious i didnt want to give this company my business. This is the worst customer service i have seen in a while. Wont be back.

Do not use this shop. I scheduled the car repair 3 weeks out. The 1 week repair turned into 1 month.Car returned today with cracked trim. They did not accept any responsibility or apologize for the damage. Didn’t even try to make it right. Just said I would have to handle it myself.Don’t let State Farm guide you to this shop.

I went to a few different places for a quote on body work for the back of my car where it was hit; Everyone had about the same price quote, but the folks at Ians were the most friendly and professional. They kept me updated throughout and cleaned my car (outside and inside) really nicely at the end, which was unexpected.

These guys are perfectionists on making sure the repairs are done 100% to the way it came from the factory. The only thing I would recommend if they read these reviews is to do a better job of communication. They have the repair skills on point but need to be honest about repair times. They are definitely worth the wait for the quality of repairs they produce.

The people are very nice but the communication was terrible.I was never called about updates or parts that my car needed. I dropped it off on a Tuesday and they told me it would be done by Friday afternoon of the same week. It wasnt. It wasnt even done Saturday or the following Monday. A 4 day job took 14 days to complete. Once again, I was never contacted about why it was taking so long or when I could pick it up. I was always the one calling them for updates because they never offered any information otherwise.One time when I called, they told me it was going to paint and I would be able to pick it up the following evening. Well when I called the next day I was told that a part needed to be supplemented (I was never told that) and that it would be at least 2 more days because it still had to go to paint.Needless to say, the people are very nice and the work they did was very good. But they grossly underestimated the time I would be without my car which was beyond frustrating to go 4 times longer than you originally planned.I was very disappointed with my experience. I had heard and read good reviews of this place and maybe I was an extreme case.I will say that the owner reached out to me after learning about my experience and they were able to help clear some things up and I am very appreciative of that. They understood my concerns about lack of communication.

Went there for car rental. They have insurance office, body repair, car rental all in one place. The car u requested was not available but they substituted better at no extra cost. Great customer service.

Ians did such an amazing job at taking care of my BMW after I was in a minor accident when I got my car back it was absolutely beautiful. Too many issues! Car was not fixed right the first time. When I pointed out the things I saw that was wrong the older blonde lady said thats minor. To her maybe but not for me. Not sure I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a most unpleasant experience in this body shop. I was involved in a car accident and they were recommended by the insurance company. I got a quotation from them and since the insurance company was paying I didnt shop around for cheaper alternatives. That was my mistake number one. The quality of their repair was wanting and worst of all I discovered much later than one of the hind lights was cracked (thanks to their technicians). Secondly, the job was not completed within the time frame they had given. In fact, I had to force them to complete the work fast since I had to travel far and I needed my car for that purpose. I had made this very clear to them when I dropped the car for repair. Now, once they had happily pocketed my money all the fake smiles disappeared and they put on a business face. It then dawned on me that all this time it was about how much they can squeeze from me (or the insurance money) and not about giving quality service. This is one place I will never take my car to again.

I had my car repaired at Ians after I was involved in a 4 car pile up on 52, I was the car in front so I only had front end damage. The estimate on my 2011 car was for reconditioned parts and the person doing the estimate did not inform me at the time, my wife noticed it when going over the estimate, she works in the Insurance industry. I was able to get the insurance company (Nationwide) to use new parts after some argument and pointing out that in NC there are laws regarding this. I let the owner talk me into having them do the repairs, he promised me the car would be back to the same condition it was in before the accident and said Id be 100% satisfied with their work.After I got the car back with the repairs complete the bumper did not line up properly at all.After a second trip to Ians they found the issue was with the bumper itself, I do not know if they failed to notice the issue in the first place or what but bottom line is there was an issue with the part they installed. They were able to get Ford to warranty the parts and get new ones in, another week without the car.When the car was returned the second time the spoiler was loose on one side and sticking up and there was chrome missing from the tail lights, I have pictures from AFTER the accident showing the tail lights were missing no chrome, when they showed me how the bumper looked after the second fix they had the back end taped off, the tape was on the tail lights, evidently that pulled off the chrome. Back to the shop for the third time. They fixed the spoiler, hopefully it will stay fixed as I would rather not take any car back to this shop. I was told that they would see about ordering the parts to fix the chrome issue.The next day I got an e-mail from the shop saying that the chrome issue is a known issue on the cars and that Ford should warranty the chrome, so much for getting it back to pre-accident condition and so much for me being 100% satisfied with their work.Their quality-control is very lacking, if you like taking your car back over and over and being without the vehicle then perhaps this is the place you should take your car. I do hope I have no issues with the repair as I would much rather never go back...At this point I might be willing to pay to have any further issues fixed by someone else, all this over an accident that was not my fault in any way.

Doesnt stand by their work. Had some work done on my bumper, 6 months later I noticed a spot that was cracking on the side, brought it in and was told it was something burnt into the paint, yet the paint was smooth and you could not feel the cracking. They said they would not fix it for free, so I took it to 2 other body shops where it was confirmed it was a workmanship issue, and nothing had got on the paint and caused these cracks. In short I would not recommend them for any service.

They did a great job on my sons vehicle and always kept us informed. Now they are repairing my husbands new truck and it has been a seamless process both times.

I was quoted over $1800 for a cosmetic repair. Had it done for wayyyyyyy less at the manufacturer.

I work at a local repair service center. We outsource lots of misc body parts to Ians, such as bumpers, mirror covers, fuel doors, etc. They ALWAYS give such great cust service and QUICKLY get things done. Thank you Ians!!

Horrible. We were told if we left our auto for a full detail at 8 or 9 AM, we could pick it up by 4 or 5 PM. However, at 2 PM, their rep called to tell us they just couldnt get your auto done today. I told her I was extremely disappointed (having driven there from out of town and having arranged for a friend to come with me, also, so I COULD leave the car all day). After all, I asked, what was the point of making an appointment to have the car detailed??? She stumbled and among other excuses, offered that, the later in the week, the busier we get and when he keeps getting pulled off your car for this car and that car, its just hard to get it done. WHAT??!!!! Getting pulled off MY car for this car and THAT car??!! What the hell did THAT mean??? I grumbled enough until she said shed speak to him and call me back. More than an hour later, after 3 PM, she called back with the same story. I fussed and a few minutes later, the owner called me to make sure everythings clear. She went on to explain how busy they were, how they get busier the later in the week it becomes, how much a detailed involves, etc. I explained to HER that that was all irrelevant to me as they had PROMISED if I left it early AM then I could pick it up late PM...period. I drive a mini-van and from the front seat to the back, the van was near immaculate and ONLY needed vacuuming. The front, drivers area did need the upholstery and carpets done. I finally objected enough and told her to simply have him finish as much as he could and Id pick the car up at 5:30 when they closed. When I picked up the car, the upholstery hadnt been touched (other than vacuuming). The carpets hadnt been touched. Even the plastic footrail just inside the drivers door and passengers door hadnt been wiped down or cleaned. The windows, once they hit the sunlight, had smears of something all over them and you could barely see out of them, and no, I do not exaggerate. The cup holders had been wiped out but were still dirty. There was another cup holder than was closed, and it had never been opened to be cleaned. ...Never touched! They didnt even empty the small litter bag that hangs on the side of the console. It still had trash in it. Turns out, the owner says she had TOLD the employee to call us at 9AM to alert us that they wouldnt be able to get to our car that day, but the employee, again, didnt call us until around 2 PM. The owner not ONCE offered any kind an apology. All she did, however, was go on and on about how they explained they couldnt get it done today and offered me the opportunity to bring it back another day or leave it overnight. Driving some 30 miles one way to get there, inconveniencing a friend, driving the same distance back and then having to do it all over again the following day was a huge inconvenience, as I expressed to her. How very sad. Im sure they enjoy a fine reputation most of the time but I can tell you they certainly didnt treat us properly. Our detail was supposed to be a $150 value; a gift certificate presented to my husband as a prize during a fundraiser for a local church. Maybe we took a back seat because we werent offering up cold, hard cash. Again, sad. I only wish I could post the photos of the after job. I promise, if I could, youd never take a vehicle to them for detailing. We have alerted the representative from the church and we will continue to spread the work to all the ladies and gentlemen at the golf course with whom we associate. Ians needs to stop and think about the repercussions of not treating even one lowly, humble customer like they are important. Shame, shame. They lost a lot more than $150 on this deal.

Very unorganized, when I arrived to pick up my vehicle that had somebody work done from a side swipe the side mirror was still broke. The pin stripes did not match up at all. They didnt wipe down the dust on my Windows and interior from them sanding. Ill never use them again.
