Horrible Service, If i could give 0 stars I would. They gave me a 20 minute wait, and after 45 minutes and a call asking them how far the cab is they said “you’re next out” and hung up. Fast forward to an HOUR from when i originally called the cab, I found another ride & the cab still never arrived.

Dean cab #6 is an excellent driver! Would definitely use this cab service again!

Lie Taxis should be the name. They gave me a price of $15 + the meter. Then, changed it. They are very greedy. Dont care about human rights. I decided to pay what they were charging. So, they wanted to get greedy and get more out of me. People act like🤣 they are having to walk to pick up someone. I guess because I am native American I get treated like this.

Driver 36 almost killed me, my unborn plus 6 year old my son from texting and driving his text messages was more important than our lives he almost wrecked 2 times and had no remorse for his actions.

Classic got me home. Uber did not. Saturday night and my alternator dies. AAA now prohibits riding in the tow due to covid. Went through the process of downloading, installing Uber which took about 7 minutes. Spent another 20 minutes watching their software spin looking for available cars only to be told on 3 different tries that none were available. Decided to call Classic. They answered the phone. They showed up. They got me home.

They dont have enough cab drivers, and they are not on time, this is Winston Salem NC not New York, waiting on a cab for over an hour, give us a break

I had this driver she was rude and said I needed a mask me not knowing I needed one said I didn’t and she was well either get a mask or u don’t ride so I went to get one I come out and she’s gone very unprofessional and she should get fired honestly

I called to order a cab so I can get home from work when I called the woman who picked up the phone had an attitude the whole time she didn’t tell me how long it will take and when I was asking questions she had an attitude. When the cab showed up he decided to blow his horn instead of calling my phone to tell me that he arrived! The whole time he was on his phone texting and driving and calling people on his phone while in the cab he took off his mask and almost got into a car wreck while taking me to my location! this was the worst service That I ever had!

Probably the cheapest cab company in Winston, and, well, you get what you pay for. The drivers I had were nice. The dispatchers and owner on the other hand--talk about unprofessional. They lie constantly about everything ESPECIALLY your pickup time. The owner usually picks up and asks where youre going and then hangs up, so if you have to add anything else, you have to call them back. Ive been on calls where it sounded like on was on speaker phone where the dispatcher wasnt paying much attention. Youre better off using another cab company or a ride app.

One of the driver was very rude cussing foul language

They are rude and had me and my baby boy waiting for over 1.5 hours after I they kept telling me they were a couple minutes away . I called for a cab the following day, and when I called to check the status I was yelled at and hung up on . They are unprofessional and disgusting in attitude

Very nasty attitudes, lied about wait times, never showed up, denied service to my husband and made rude comments when 2 hours late across the street from pickup, I would not recommend this company to anyone. Never again will they get my money or business!

I never called them before. I spoke with dispatch. He toid me there would be about 15 minutes wait time, I said ok. 5 minutes later the driver called and asked my address. He popped it into his GPS and he said he would be here in 5 minutes! I jumped up fed the dog and started getting my portable oxygen ready ( I have COPD) In a minute or so he called from out front.It was and older american car. He was masked. I hopped in back told him the store I wished to go to downtown. He was a young man on this job for only a week. He drove well and knew all the back roads and we got there quickly. I spent 5 minutes and then we were off again. We had a real pleasant conversation and I was home. I paid him then he offered me change. I told him to keep it it was a good tip I told him I had enjoyed the ride and he was a young guy and could use the money. He informed me that he did landscaping and some other things I told him to call me in 2 weeks. We both saved each others phone number. It was money wll spent!

They were fast and very professional for me

I had called for a cab at approximately 7:45pm. 20 minute wait no problem- after about 35 minutes we called. We were told he was a minute away- a road over. No big deal. After waiting for about 5-10 more minutes I called again. Was told he was going to be there in a minute. After an hour after he should have picked me up, and the awful communication between dispatcher and the driver- I caught a ride elsewhere. Something I could have done awhile ago. Lying just to get someone to use your cab is messy. Ive been waiting outside for work for an hour now- & declined 2 ride offers because my taxi should be here any minute- Imagine if I was GOING to work? Unprofessional and no sense of remorse. I used this company about 4 years ago and encountered the same issue one time. Nice to know it hasnt changed. Call an uber, its worth it- even during high volume times!

Worst Cab Service To Use They Took 2 Hours To Pick Me up

Some stranger caught a cab in front of my house using my address and jumped out the cab when they reached their destination a value of $24. The cab refuses to pick me up now even after i verified who i am. Their cabs are unclean and raggedy because they break down with you in it! They told me to find other options i advise you do the same.

Booked an appointment 12 hours early online for a ride to the airport. Called the night before to confirm appointment (because this company apparently doesn’t confirm appointments despite asking for your email address) and was told good to go. Did the cab show up the next morning? Nope. Did they email, text, or call? Nope. Avoid this company if you actually want to get a ride somewhere. This transportation company apparently doesn’t do transport.

All though Needs improving, they are usually on time

The service was speedy! Cab was there within 15 min of my call.The driver was a distinguished and personable gentleman.The fee was reasonable. The cab was a nice neat looking van.I havent been in a cab in years, and was pleasantly surprised.

Now im only giving 5* cause of #8 the female that always had a rider with her. Now its a crazy world out here and i like it cause she had someone riding with her for her safety. But them was my girls they wasnt always on time but they was there. They always made me feel safe coming home at night coming from work. Any1 who says different must tried to run without pay. Cause them girls was cool and they did their job. Now i dont see them out driving nomore but this company needs them back.

I had a driver name Don. He was the best. We talked the 1hr ride. My husband and I just needed to separate and Don had kind words. When I was going off to my sister house she left me strained with my 7 month old baby and don was there by ourself and never left. Thank you so much for kind and passionate heart.

The cab drivers are cool. Its the communication between the driver and the dispatcher that irks me. I was given a 20 min eta. I called after 30 min. He said that was an estimate. It will be there in a few minutes. Of course he didnt call the driver. It took another 20 min. In all 50 min. Meaning 20 min estimate should have never been quoted. An estimate would be an hour. To top it off, the driver said he was in the area and got the call ten minutes prior to picking me up...or is some1 lying. Restore faith please.

Funny I had nothing but a good experience with this company.. I needed a cab early in the morning and they arrived prior to said time. The female driver was exceptionally sweet and considerate. The male driver on my return home was also on time and very helpful. The cars were also very clean. I would recommend and use them again

Dispatch was good, did what they could. The lady driving cab #25 acted like she would rather scratch her eyeballs out than talk to us. Uber couldnt get to us in time. Classic Stab. Do yourself a favor...call Uber, Lyft, your nephew with a scooter. Anything else is a step above this option. I couldve walked home faster than the 1 hour and 10 minutes I waited. Then this Lady is cranking Van-Halen Eruption and playing air guitar on the steering wheel. Would that make it in Car Key????

I use this company all of the time. Yesterday i called around 1:30 to reserve a cab for 5:05 to pick me up from work. I waited for almost 45 minutes for my cab to show up. It was cold and rainy and I needed to pick up my son from after school care BY 5:30. The cab driver in cab #20 pulls up and doesnt apologize or even try to be nice. I asked him if he was going to give me a discount for being 40 minutes late and he told me no and proceeded to tell me to get out and call another cab and that he was not going to take me to my destination. I called the company while still in the cab, at this point I was furious and hysterical because I was late picking up my son. And the dispatcher (who I have never had an issue with) told the man to take me to my destination and he would pay my bill. The driver still refused to take me and told me to get out. I will be reporting this company to the BBB. There is no excuse for treating people like this. On another note, the male dispatcher was attempting to make the situation better and sent me another driver immediately. But that driver should be let go.

The driver in detail talked about his personal problems he had a bottle that he was showing off while driving (not drinking while we were there) and talked about his convictions the entire time while swerving and taking a complete red light for a left turn.

I called at 1:15 pm on 3/17 and asked for a cab ride to the airport. Person who answered was very professional and courteous. I asked to be picked up at 1:45 pm. Cab driver arrived exactly at 1:45 pm. Cab was clean and the driver was very friendly. Arrived at the airport on time and was billed exactly as quoted. I would recommend Classic Cab Company for anyone in my company who needs a ride to the airport. And there are plenty.

I havent used a cab for a while but last night i decided to catch one for down town. The Cabbie showed up on time. He was super nice and very helpful. Pleasant ride. I highly recommend Classic Cab

They can do better with the wait

I had a terrible experience with this company. For one they make you wait a hour for a cab and they dont care if your going to work. The owner of the business cussed me all because i told him he was going the wrong way. I will definitely be taking my business else where.Update- I told him the address of where i was going (which was to my job. I dont know why he would think i didnt know the address to where i work.) and the way i wanted him to go but he choose to go his own way and disregard my regular route. I specifically asked him to make a right at a 4 way stop when he proceeded to go straight. He was very unprofessional to be the owner.

Great cab company, allow you to schedule your rides in advance. Kind, personable drivers, no unreasonable charges! Also, if you want to be in a better mood when you get out of the cab than when you got in, ask for Kenny (#10)!

This cab company has a very rude and disrespectful to everyone on greenway ave, she doesnt even let you finish what you are trying to find out I have talk to her joss and nothing has been done about it if something is not dine I will out it in the Winston Salem paper. She is very rude if she doesnt like her job then dont deal with the public. I called back and she claims that she hadnt talked to me and my brother said she called back and said the cab was on the way, it took an hour and half for the cab to come get my brother, the dispatcher was very rude and disrespectful, I will be letting the better business bureau know that this company needs to be shut down or they need to get ride of the dispatcher ASAP,shes making it bad for their business,I dont think anyone should call this company ever again.

If i could give a negative 5 i would, your drivers will charge whatever they want, its pay by the miles yet Ive had 2 drivers in 3 months charge by time, if your at a stop light the price should NOT go up and when i call the company all they want to do was find a way to make it MY fault!!! Great service! My driver Collin was prompt, drove safely, got me where I needed to go in excellent time, and he was super friendly. I highly recommend Classic Cab Company, and Collin in particular.

I have been using this company for a couple of months now and the only reason I’ve continued has been for a few drivers that are a pleasure to ride with.However, as nice as some of them are, there are obvious issues. I work in customer service, so I make it a point to be polite and kind on the phone. I understand dispatchers can get very busy but I have been cut off multiple times in mid question/sentence, I have been forgotten by multiple cab drivers or quoted wildly incorrect wait times. I try to call ahead and factor that in but one time I was quoted 20 minutes on a Sunday, I called back after waiting 40 minutes, was apologized to and reassured a cab was on the way, I was actually on the phone with the dispatcher and heard the driver say he was at the location and I wasn’t there. I walked all around the gas station and he was not there. I was over an hour and half late for work.I am never rude and I actually tip as best I can. If it wasn’t for that sweet lady that drives me home a lot of times, I would never call this company again.

This particular taxi 🚕 service can be quite unprofessional & mannerisms can be disturbing from the responding dispatchers to some of the male drivers!!! Classic taxi service of Winston-Salem needs a comprehensive course refresher on customer service & professionalism to service the region of Winston-Salem more proficiently. Thank Goodness for Uber service in this region because the majority of the taxi services in this region can be disappointing for custwho may require their service.

Great service. The driver Mr Shaq was 10 minutes early. His vehicle was very clean and he was very professional. The ride to the Charlotte airport was very pleasant. I highly recommend Classic Cab

I wish I could give them no stars. All the positive comments on here is from the people that work there which is the owners family. A lot of the drivers are disrespectful, they are never on time even when you call hours in advance Ive been late for work multiple times dealing with this company, they make their own rules to benefit themselves and they dont want to wait on you even thro there is a wait charge. A driver actually told me that customers that is paying more money is more important. I believe all customers should be important since they are still spending money. Its companies like this that need a reminder that its us customers that made the company. Dont waste your time calling them I promise you it would be disappointing every time.

Most drivers are nice. However some drivers will over charge you. Tim, Chris, and Leslie are great I highly recommend asking for them.

Called for a cab at 5:30 to pickup at 6:30 and they never camed.made me late for work.

At 3:35pm on shattalon and bethanie at the natures own bakery one of your drivers almost backed into my van I had to stop him by blowing my horn. Then he spead off.

Completely unreliable. I’ve been late to work MULTIPLE times because this company takes over 30 minutes to an hour to actually show up at your house. The drivers are rude and snappy, and have no clue how to navigate downtown.

Called and ordered a cab at around 1 for a cab to come at 5:20 they were extremely late and when i called to check to see where my cab was the lady caught and attitude and got smart very bad customer service. I would not recommend them.

If I could leave negative stars I would!! This is the worst damn service I have ever encountered. It takes forever, literally FOREVER and then when they finally do arrive they act like its no big deal and are completely rude. For about a month I was using only one driver and his name was Khalil, he was great until one day I waited for two hours and he never showed up and wouldnt text back or respond to calls. It was so unprofessional and rude. I still cant believe the level of unprofessionalism displayed. Furthermore, for 4 separate occasions no one ever even showed up I would continuously call the company and they would say they sent a car and it never arrive. Ive been stranded multiple times because of very unprofessional people and it is utterly ridiculous!

I ordered a cab from here and the guy taking the order he said his name was Ben,has no clue what he is doing,he asked me where I was. Then when the cab gets there there is two heavy set women rude to beat. #8 she told me her cab number.I didnt think you could have another person riding in the cab.By the way it took them 1 1/2 hr to get me.

I received the worst cab service ever from this company last night, the cab driver was rude and sarcastic when I was just trying to give directions as to where I was going. Sometimes I get great cabs but days like today make the experience horrible! I had the rudest African man today arguing with me because my meter was running before I even start my journey home from the store as I do every Friday normally runs me 6.80 to 7 dollars when the meter is done properly but this time it was almost 10.40 he proceeds to argue with me of the prices I pay every week with the same company is wrong stopped in the MIDDLE OF MY TRIP TO RETURN ME TO THE STORE AND IM A BLOCK UP FROM MY HOUSE THEN STARTS TO DRIVE AGGRESSIVELY complete disrespect! Not everyone on here is lying and I seen it first hand today you guys are not as friendly as you want people to believe! Your timing manner is horrible especially when you have multiple cabs! Worst cab ever. I called the cab and was told it would take 20 minutes the driver was a little late but that was ok. My son and I get into the car and he drives down the street while making phone calls and texting! As soon as he turns the corner the car shuts off!! And he laughs and says he forgot to put gas in the car. So we are stuck in the middle of the street and a someone helps him get the car out of the street. Then he leaves with the guy to go get gas and leaves me and my son in his cab in the dark with the doors unlocked!! Then he comes back n put the has in, the car wont cut on AT ALL!! We he calls another cab, his friend and he picks me n my son up and the driver only to drive him to the store then charge me for the entire thing!!! I even called the company and they said thats between you and the driver I will NEVER use classic cab again!!

My wife and i use classic all the time for work. She literally calls almost every day at 3 for a ride at 440. This company is extremely hit and miss. Some days the cabbie will be there smiling and on time, others not so much. The reason i took time to write a review however, is due to what happened to her the other day. She called as always at 3 for a 515 pickup. The cab driver called at 445 to confirm and tell us she was close by. My wife wasnt quite ready for work, so i let the lady (i. Believe her name is Nicole Perdue, never ever ride with her) that she would be ready by 515. At 520 my wife called her back to ask where she was. This driver had left my wife high and dry and went on to the next call, i guess she didnt want to wait and do her job, or inform us or the cab company that she wasnt going to wait or ask for another driver to come out. She was extremely rude on the phone, blamed dispatch for the fact that She chose to leave, and told us multiple times to call classic and complain. Who does that and still gets to have a iob? Needless to say my wife was late for work, they had to send a completely different driver, who thankfully showed up quickly and was very nice. Other than that there are many drivers that are great, but phew use at your own risk.Edit:Okay so on another note this is the next day I just called for my wife another cab they told me theyre not giving us a ride anymore because of our review .okay well allow me to explain this to you I have called multiple times in the past for situations where not only cab drivers were extremely rude to me but couldnt understand half of what I was telling them, or when I called to ask where my cab is when they are late and receive horrible attitude and obvious bs when Im told theyll be there any minute and its another 15-20 minutes before theyre there. And then the cab driver tells me they didnt get my ride till 10 15 minutes when I get told I need to call a manager let me assure you I have attempted to call a manager and always been declined or told to call back later there is a female there whose name I do not know who has given me an especially horrible attitude not with this last conversation but inpast where she refused to give me her name or allow me to talk to her managers. So manger lady who personally told us we cant ride anymore: we tried to fix it with you guys and your dispatch blatantly throws out our calls. This cab company comes to pick up patients from the hospital that I work at and I encountered two different cab drivers and they were both EXTREMELY rude to me and to the patient I was waiting with. And one of them stole my pen and proceeded to fight me for it. Wasnt able to get the name of the driver or cab number before he rudely sped off. Unfortunately I cannot stop my employer from using this company but I do NOT recommend them personally.

I accidentally left my wallet that had some important stuff in it. The driver was on his last call and had dinner plans with his wife. I worried the dispatcher to death and started getting upset but the driver took time out of his night and returned it to me. I dont know his name but, thank you and sorry!

I am a driver for classic cab now and I also used to take it before I worked for the company. I think its a great service to the surrounding area. I mean we pick up almost from any where. Personally I have tired a couple different companys in winston salem before I was empolyed for classic and overall this one is the best. :)

For One When I Called The Lady Was Cussing & Complaining About Her Hours & Then I Called Twice & Got Hung Up On. Then The Man Didnt Even Take My Number Down Or Anything To Let Me Know If My Cab Was Somewhere Around & Told Me 45Mins. Which Wasnt A Good Esimate & I End Up Missing My Ride.
