In order to find a lower rated dealership selling the same brands, one would have to drive at least 2 dealerships away in every direction and still won’t find a worse dealer. Literally 50 miles in any direction and probably 15 dealers yet none this bad. Listen to your community and stay away!Sadly my dealings with them haven’t been any better.

They did not detail the car before i picked it up and when i came back to have it done the next day, it was barely even cleaned, let alone detailed. then the guy who did it got an attitude when i was upset. i waited for 4 hours with my infant son just to get a dirty car. while the rest of the car was in good shape mechanically, i had to get a new battery less than 2 weeks after i bought the car.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!! Currently in the process of opening a claim with the Better Business Bureau. Purchasing from this dealership has been a complete nightmare, and I have dealt with many problems including being sold a warranty when then there was an existing warranty (they lied and told me there was no existing warranty) to having problems with the vehicle just a few miles off the lot to having an insane amount of credit inquiries when I was already approved by Capital One for a great rate!!! They incorrectly handled the transfer of the plate and I am not in a situation where temp is expiring, and I CAN NOT EVEN DRIVE THE VEHICHLE THAT I PURCHASED!!! Look elsewhere because you WILL regret buying from this dealership.

I will say I am extremely dissatisfied with Rod Hatfield Chrysler. First off Dwayne the salesman was out standing extremely helpful but when it comes to finance completely different story. The finance department called me on the phone and informed me of the payment for the truck I was going to purchase I asked what the price would be for an extended warranty and was informed that price included the extended warranty which I agreed upon and drove over and purchased the truck. My fault for not looking over the contract before signing but later I find out they had added a $5,000 care package which I do not need after contacting Allstate which informed me I had 60/days to cancel to get a full refund. So I make a trip down to the dealership to have them fill out the paperwork to cancel the contract. Instead of finance filling the paperwork out he simply would not do it claiming the dealership would lose money and had he new I was going to cancel that contract before the 60 days they would not have sold me the truck which I would of been fine with they are not the only Mopar dealer in Kentucky. The bottom line is they wanted me to wait 61 days and cancel so I would get a pro rated rate return on the contract and they could maximize there commission from the package they sold. Down right robbery from a dealership. This proves they do not care about customers only bottom line money and commissions from unwanted packages. Thankfully Allstate canceled the package for me without the dealership involvement. This will be the last time I ever do business with this dealership. Buyers be aware of the scams they run.

I would urge you to to go elsewhere when looking for a vehicle. The Winchester lot we bought our Jeep at lied to us about our trade in, when we found the mistake it was a week later but even during signing the paper work Michael Young told us the same thing as we were told by Jim Ryder the sales manager outside that they were paying off our trade so we took it as that we were never told they weren’t paying off the entire amount. When we called to talk to GM Fred Kuykendoll as instructed by Chrysler corporate office he belittled me for calling and asking questions he couldn’t answer and told me to never call him again because he had to stop working with other customers to help me “his customer”. He failed to represent Chrysler’s good name and he failed to help me as a customer. We will never buy from this lot again.

Went to get a car, waited 3 hours before test driving. Finally found a vehicle but was told the banking system was down. They told me theyd call me when they had the deal ready but no one called. Called the next day and kept getting the run around. Do not go here unless you have 3 days to waste

Buyer beware.They lie about prices online. When I went there I looked at the truck and asked about the price difference. They informed me there would be rebates that lowered the price to the internet price after we started negotiating. After going inside to attempt to work a deal I was informed that those were special incentives only available to people that met the requirements. (First responders, equipment owners) The salesman named Josh was awesome and willing to help. However, the gentleman that helped me (I’m assuming sales manager)couldn’t do math because he assured me a 20,000 dollar car payment is at least 500 a month.

I was sincerely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and outright lies from this place. I was a returning customer because of convenience and I had an offer from them, that I had previously used. When I asked if they wanted to see the offer the day I dropped my car off they clearly said no, just bring it when I pick up my car the next day. I did. That’s when they informed me that they didn’t honor that offer any longer. The offer was clearly marked as good through 12/31/2020. As a small business owner I was SHOCKED at their lack of just basic customer service skills. It’s not my fault they were no longer accepting that offer. There was no sign anywhere that they were not honoring that offer. Instead they argued with me when I pointed out that they accepted responsibility for accepting the offer when they let me drop my car off and did not look at the offer. That was clearly poor customer service. I tried to go up the chain, but there was no one in management that was capable of having an informed conversation! In fact the one manager actually flat out lied! I was mortified. Without the offer I spent twice as much here than I would have anywhere else. The only reason I was actually going there was that offer, but unlike them I learn from my mistakes and will never be going back. Scrolling through all the negative reviews I’m hopeful that others will not make the same mistakes as we suckers that couldn’t help but be put in the terrible position we were put in by these slimy people. I hope my money that they took fraudulently was worth all the money they will lose in the future. Despicable.

I advised my ceiling price and twice verified that the deal could be made under that price. Nearly two hours later I was told the price would be about %10 over my ceiling. Buyer be warned.

Stay away unless you enjoy being taken for a ride by a rogues gallery of liars and thieves.Response update:This isnt a Karen crying about just a coupon. It wouldnt matter if my name was on it or not if it was my money, anyway. My familys property was held hostage over an oil change offer that was accepted and then rescinded after the work was done. My kiddos dad bought an Outlander here. Within the first week it will not start or run if the weather is damp. They lied and withheld information about the vehicles condition. Purchased 2018 with less than 30,000 miles and it breaks down three weeks later. It was 87 degrees, and I had my 9 month old and 3 year old with me. They only offered me a a guy’s number to have it towed. No courtesy vehicle offered. Then called me two days later to ask me if I “would be in Lexington anytime soon” to give them the lien release on our trade in knowing the car I bought from them is in the shop at a different dealership and hasn’t even been diagnosed yet. Go somewhere else. If I could give zero stars I would.

This is the worst place to go for a a vehicle. I went there being told I was approved for a 2020 jeep Cherokee latitude. After driving it for 2 weeks without signing any paperwork. I finally went in and signed all paperwork. payment was higher than told. Drove it for 2 more weeks. JD the general manager text me saying there was a few more papers needed sign. It was a new contract payment went up. I refused to sign it. Him and the sales guy came back and got the vehicle. They lied to me all around.

Our salesman, Clay was awesome! He stayed late two separate days for us as we were traveling from Louisville. The car we originally came to see didn’t work out so he helped us find another one that was even better. They let us get the car checked out by a mechanic and negotiated a very fair deal. I was looking at purchasing a 2017 Lexus GX460 from Jacob Burchwell at this store, he sent me photos and a purchase order which I agreed to pay after which was after he said there was a service bill of $480 that he forgot to tell me about, I agreed to pay that as well. I was then told of a $530 Doc fee which is normal at most stores and I asked for a $200 reduction as I was not aware of the Service bill charge. After everything he came back to me and said his boss said no and I agreed to purchase it as I was tired at that point. I called several times after that with no answer and sent messages and he ignored all my messages, I even called the store this morning and I was hung up on twice. This is absolutely not acceptable. If you choose not to do business atleast with me have the common decency to give me a call or send me a message that vehicle was sold etc. I look online and price was increased again another $1,000. These are the people that give the whole car business and sales people a bad name and cannot be trusted. Please stay clear from this dealer and especially the sales guy Jacob Burchwell. Jacob you should be ashamed of yourself!! I would expect a call from a Manager when you receive this review.

Great place to buy a car. I live in Northern Ky. I Went to six different dealerships in the area and received no help. I called Rod Hatfield in Winchester and spoke to the salesperson. He was very nice and informative over the phone so I drove 94 miles to see what they could do for me. I pulled in the dealership and was greeted by the salesperson that I spoke with. He showed me 4 different cars and made sure of what I wanted. Needless to say I got my car under the payment I thought I was going to be at, got the car I wanted, and was treated like a king. Great service department. While moving my family to North Carolina, had problem with our 2017 Jeep Rubicon Recon enroute. Googled closest Jeep dealer and drove it here. We were very glad we did. After running diagnostic, the problem turned out to be a blown fuse. Very friendly and professional mechanic changed it out for NO charge. I couldnt believe it. Unfortunately, this dealership still maintains the policy of drawing you in by posting great prices on their website that includes rebates that once you arrive at the lot you find that very few, if anyone, qualifies for - something that the sales people themselves came right out and told me. The sales staff is friendly but the bait and switch tactics of the ownership leaves a bad taste. Though they dropped the sticker price dramatically, but still not as low as what was posted on their site, I ended up going somewhere else to make my purchase. Trust is important to me and after their initial tactic to get me on the lot, I viewed everything they said and did with suspicion. That left me unable to do business with them even though, for all I know, they may be a perfectly reputable business.

Probably one of the worst dealerships Ive ever been to. Ram 1500 Mirror signal lamp needed replacing. They broke the mirror while installing signal lamp and told me I would have to pay for 1/2 of the price of new mirror. Amazing! Needless to say, I didnt pay for half the cost of the mirror. Will never set foot on this property. If I could rate zero stars I would!!

I found a deal on a used car on cargurus. When i called about the price that made it come up on a top listing they quoted me a price 2,000 higher. They said the price on cargurus is only that price if your trading and financing through them. Whoever heard of paying 2,000 more for paying with cash. I was treated like a child. The one sales guy who did an amazing job was fired. I bought a Jeep and all went well. I couldnt afford the Jeep so I brought it back and lost $2000 in the process. Not their fault, Im dumb with money. But, when they promised that they would pay off the loan I trusted them. I now am being chased by the bank to make payments on a vehicle I dont own that Rod Hatfield was supposed to pay off!Its been well over a month and the bank says that Rod Hatfield has not contacted them about anything. Wish you could give negative stars. Bought a 2010 Equniox for $6000 on 06-25-19 from Ron Downing, on 06-28-19 cylinder 3 blew and dumped oil into the air intake. I was on my way to Utah to start school for a new high paying job. Never made it. Lost the job, lost the $7900 payment for school, out the $6000 for the Equinox and here I sit with no vehicle. The dealership did refund me $850, the money they say they made on the sale, but it took me several weeks of chasing them around until I finally showed up at the dealership and things finally happened and I received my money the next day. Would not recommend this dealership to my enemies. Save yourself the time and money and go literally anywhere else.

Terrible service department customer service. There are no extensions, voicemails, etc. for the general manager so if you do have a problem that needs assistance, you can only speak to a salesperson or the woman who works at the front desk of the service department. I was on vacation visiting family in Winchester when my rotors in my car started making a weird sound, I just got my breaks and rotors done in florida a couple weeks prior. Called service department and spoke with Brandon. I inquired a quote for a transmission fluid change (CVT transmission). He consulted with his supervisor and told me my transmission fluid was very expensive, $58.10 a quart, and that my car requires 7 quarts. Service would cost me $660. Needless to say I went to Manns Dodge dealership in Mt. Sterling (not a fan of this place either), same service for $335. Rod Hatfields seem like they will rip you off. My advice is to definitely go elsewhere. Good luck!

Takes advantage of people. Make you unaware of what your getting yourself into and charging way above msrp. Pay two years on a car still owe more than the msrp. Sure it’s my own fault but be aware they don’t care how low they gotta go to take advantage of people. Stay away. Go to Dan Cummins in Paris worth the extra drive and way more professional. Would give a zero if the option was Available. Plus there prices are a joke don’t think there rebates can help cover negative equity they will tell you don’t qualify for the rebates. I drove over 2 hours for a truck advertised for 43, 377 and they uped the price on the paper for 45 000 something . I asked to switch mirrors to tow mirrors guy said shoouldnt be a problem then they priced them on the deal for $1995 when theyre only $195 on the window sticker at every dodge dealer they think peoples stupid. They dont want to give you what your trucks worth .nada clearly had mine worth in great shape over 31 and resale 31-35000.Guy said they needed to sell it they had it 6 months well theyll prob have it 6 more months

First off my sales man Duwayne was excellent I told him what I was looking for and he went above and beyond to ensure that I got the vehicle I wanted so the day of the sale went great........the issue that I had with the whole ordeal I was informed the day I signed my contract that my payments would be due on a specific date. once my temp tags expired I traveled back to the dealership was provided new tags and the representative I spoke with informed me that it was taking a little longer to get the deal closed so now my payment due date changed I confirmed this with the representative multiple times the new date my payment was due on he again confirmed the date........a few weeks past the day after my original due date I get a call from the bank and was informed that my payment was past due, I informed the bank that I was informed by the dealership that my due date had changed because of the delay of the deal closing bank informed me that the date never changed and I was past due. Called the dealer ship and spoke with the Rep Wes who I spoke with previously that verified and informed me that my payment due date was changed when I informed him that I was past due to the incorrect information provided and verified by him, his response Im not the bank that was the original date that you signed for my response when I came to get my new Temps YOU CONFIRMED THAT MY DATE HAD CHANGED MULTIPLE TIMES his response once again yes but Im not the bank that was your original date you signed for I could call the bank if you like but that is your due date As a customer I did not appreciate being provided wrong information or the response once I addressed the issue . I had tried on multiple occasions to get the information to make a payment before the past due nonsense but was informed to wait due to the deal closure.Overall experience was not up to standards my salesman was great but the response to the misinformation was unacceptable I love my new vehicle and am thankful but I could have done without this experience I do recommend rod Hatfield of winchester KY just make sure if youre a first time buyer like me make sure you take someone knowledgeable with you.

Well I have never had any bad complaints about Rod Hatfield in Winchester ky the sales team is great Dwayne has sold me several cars and he is wonderful also as stated the sales team Awesome now the service and parts department is AWFUL I REPEAT AWFUL NO CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE AT ALL THEY ALL NEED TO BE RETRAINED its a shame when half of the business is TERRIBLE and the other half is Great Im sorry to have to give a bad report about the service and parts department but its about taking care of the Customer and thats what makes a business run well Kudos to the Sales team #theservicedepartmentneedsimproving

Call for quote on vehicle listed on Carfinder, guy who answered didnt know salesman listed on site. Gave him Stock No. of vehicle, couldnt help me with that. Really didnt seem to know what he was doing. Decided to end my call after 5 minutes of nothing. Good Luck with this dealer.

Ads offered 16000 vehicle. Jacked the price to double and said that was normal on a 6 year loan. Interest rates arnt that high right now. Double check their numbers when dealing with them.

Nothing but crooks. Very unprofessional by most staff. They cursed every other word both times I was there. They are ruining lives of people who arent knowledgable about buying a new car. I wasnt educated on APRs and such. They failed to mention what the interest would be. Im paying $574 a month with 18%. Im paying pure interest. I was told by all the staff I could refinance it in a year, and be good to go. They obviously knew that would be impossible, because my car is worth 14,000 and I owe 24,000. Do not buy a car from here. These are the worst kind of people to do business with.

Horrible place to buy a car. If youre thinking about buying from this dealership, think again. Their horrible staff flat out lied to us about a vehicle, promised us an itemized list of what they said needed repaired, which was supposedly only a couple sensors and inside door handle replacements. During the buying process I had to leave and go to work, but they assured me that they would provide my wife with the list of the 3 or 4 repairs that it needed, and that they only totalled in the couple hundred dollar range and that it was nothing we couldnt do ourselves with a couple of YouTube videos. Instead of keeping their word, they strung her along and managed to have her sign everything, told her they would have to send the list on the mail, then Mike Conway, our sales rep texted me and told me the list was ready in the service department. When I called down there to ask when I could come get it, they acted like they didnt know what I was talking about. Being that my wife had already traded her car in for this one, and they had managed to get her to sign an as is agreement and did not keep their word, I took it to the shop at Frank Shoop and to my surprise, the entire list of repairs amounted to over 9k, and the car is unsafe to drive. They had no problem letting my wife and baby girl drive off down 75 in a car that had 4 broken engine exhaust bolts broken off inside, rear axel seal bearing retainer leaking/play, front struts, front rotors, rear shocks, rear rotors, all transmission cooler lines, both front hubs, blower motor, blower resistor, and a tire patch all broken and needing repair. They promised usuthe 4x4 worked... inoperable and sprayed trans fluid everywhere when activated. About the only thing that did work were the sensors that they told us were bad and throwing false codes. There were 15 stored codes, but no check engine light. Only lights on were traction control and abs. They told us if we YouTubed the how to install new sensors it would clear the lights for abs and the service 4x4. When we returned to see what they would do about this, they said have your attorney contact our attorney, I cant help you. Do yourselves a favor and dont deal with these people, find somewhere where they employ professional, courteous, respectful people, but Rod Hatfield Winchester is the worst of the worst. The 5 star ratings are obviously fake. The legal term for what they did is called fraud in the inducement. Theyve defrauded us and apparently many other people.

Terrible service department which is a total rip off.Had car for 7-8 weeks and the only reason it got fixed in the end was that we found the parts online and got the parts delivered. Invoice had to be corrected as $500 more than quote for labor + charged for part we bought.2nd time we took the car there as we were concerned the problem was connected with the 1st repair. Quoted $1450 - found the part for $200 and quoted $200 from well known mechanic. Got job done in 30 hrs for $400.
