Jess with Insight arrived, as scheduled and on time, for our quarterly inspection and set out several applications against bugs and ants around our home - he even cleaned the spider webs from the eaves along the roof line. After noticing a couple of fire ant mounds in the yard, he addressed those as well. Very attentive to detail and I appreciated he took the time to make some suggestions and explain the products and application process.
They badger you if you decide not to continue with their service. It’s been over 3 months and I’m still receiving 4+ phone calls a week. They ended up doing FAR less than they were advertising when they solicited me at my door. I was able to find two other companies who did a better job, and were over 25% cheaper than this company’s service. 10/10 Do NOT recommend.
Terrible business. Just after your money, they dont care about providing services. I hired Insight because we were having a terrible problem with red ants in the yard. After a few treatments they were still a huge problem, almost seemed to be getting worse if that was even possible. I decided to try to find other products, we were just really desperate to be able to sit in our yard with out getting bit by fire ants. I was actually able to find some great stuff online and it was finally making great progress getting rid of them. The next time Insight came by I told them that no offense, but what your using wasnt helping at all. I paid quite a bit of money for my own stuff and seems to be working great so I no longer need your service. I called the number I was told to, to cancel my subscription and was told I would have to pay a large cancellation fee to get out of my contract. I think this is absurd seeing how the reason I hired them, to treat the red ants, they were NEVER able to do that job. Dont get me wrong, they tried and used the products they had for ants but it failed. I signed a contract to get a specific service which they were UNABLE to provide, not holding up their end of the deal. Yet they require me to pay for a full contract for a service they could not successfully provide? Dont hire this company they are very shady. All they want is your money and they have zero customer service.
Guy pulled up on his Segway, told me about the service and I thought it was amazing, so I decided to try it out. He failed to tell me there was a cancellation fee of 100-200$. After the first appointment, the guy was super nice but nothing was fixed, bugs came back 10x stronger on roids. Do not recommend
Door to door sign up was dishonest. Said I could cancel at any time. That was a lie. Good thing I looked before service and I cancelled. For some reason they sent a bill and said I did receive service service even though I never did. After multiple calls later over a couple months they finally told me it was cancelled. Still received a bill. Just didnt respond and finally the emails and calls stopped. Would not recommend.
Jess came to my house and did out normal outside services. I happened to be home from work today and I asked him if he could spray the inside because we have seen some bugs lately. He was happy to come in and spray and also informed me of glue strips that he put in my garage to help capture any pests coming in the corners of the garage. Jess was very professional and took the time to explain everything he was doing and why it needed done! Thanks for you professionalism and help Jess!
I was very impressed 👏 with the guy who did our service this time. He listened to us about the issues we were having and addressed each one. He did a more thorough job than anyone whos provided service for us before. He did more than the three minute men yes thats what we called them. So thank you for really doing your job.
I had the specialist Jess come and spray my house. He is very knowledgeable in his field he knew exactly what I needed and found all the spots that the mouse found as his home. He was very clean and respectful. Also gave me some good pointers on keeping insects out. Thank you again for everything!
Jess is a constant professional by far my favorite technician. Friendly and proficient. Makes sure you understand what he did and suggests what needs attention and what could wait. There are technicians that do their job well and leave but Jess treats you like you been friends for years. I love that. As far as the service goes I have not had issues with any Pest inside treated areas. When it comes to the services Insight provides Jess is one of the main reason I send other companies techs walking.
I have been using Insight Pest Solutions for a few years now and I have not one bad thing to say about them. They bill me in a way that works for me. The exterminators I have met have been very pleasant. I highly recommend them to anyone.
Experience was all around decent. Dispatch was knowledgeable and friendly, but unprepared. The chemicals he had on hand did work and found the perimeter of the house littered with assorted bugs the next day. We had pretty decent sized wasp nest on either side of the house, which was dealt with professionally. There still are fire ants in my yard, but have a free call back for spot treatment, just haven’t got around to making the effort to call me then back here.
I had high hopes for this company, the pitch at the door sounded great, I didnt need them as I really dont have any issues, but I didnt mind spending the money for a little peace of mind. Our first service experience was awful, no 30 minute notice and then I recieved a phone call asking where I was.... the tech wasnt even at the right house. When the tech did get to my house he was very unprofessional and I basically had to beg him to do any of the listed services. He only did 2 rooms in my house before he went to leave and I asked him if he was going to do the rest I can if you want the bugs are just going to move to those rooms if I dont that shouldnt even be a question. If Im paying you to do it why wouldnt you? And then he tried to leave a second time without doing the upstairs of my house. He also never entered my attached garage (through the kitchen) which would likely be the best entrance for bugs.i also had to practically beg him to do my back yard as well as my front.He also didnt do 3/4 of the services he listed on sheet he gave me stating what services he completed. After all that was over I still decided to give them a shot. The guy wasnt professional and didnt do half the job but he was nice enough. I thought hey maybe the quarterly guy will be more thorough! Well I was wrong, I received a 7am-7pm time frame. Not a huge deal, Ill just take the day off work, (thats only another $200+ out of my pocket anyway for missing a 12 hour shift) well now its 7:15 pm still no call, no show. And I missed a days worth of pay that I could have used. I spent the last 45 minutes trying to get in touch with somebody to cancel this service and everybody is beating around the bush. We are contacting the tech and the service manager to try and help you. At this point I dont want help, I want to cancel my services and never look back on the wasted time and money.
I phoned insight and their response was quick, they also perform my quarterly inspection as well.
This place is honestly horrible. I do not recommend or will I ever recommend this place to anyone. The contractors who come to the house to spray just lazily walk around our house spreading their bug killer, and would not work in the lawn. When this was brought up customer service they didn’t do anything. I asked to cancel but they locked us in a one year contract where if you want to cancel you have to pay $300+. All I know is don’t ever use these guys the $20 bug replant at Walmart works the same if not better. I will not be renewing this plan or ever be associated with this company ever again in the future. Also be aware they try to up charge the contract I started at $130 a month and after each consultation when they come and sprayed and me calling them about how they didn’t do it right they just kept dropping the price. I’m at $90 for now. But don’t even get roped into this company 100% not worth it.
This company is a joke, their product doesnt work and it costs an arm and a leg. And when you try to cancel services they charge you the other arm and leg. Do not use this company. They are just after your money. Youre better off going to Home Depot and buying the Ortho Bug spray. I have had better luck with that and its less expensive.
I used to have a bug guy who was excellent. One spray and we were good for the year. This company came to my door and it sounded great! So I switched to this company. I regret this.... Not only do i have to call RIGHT AFTER a touch up spray because the fire ants didnt die, and bugs are still in my home, but they dont call 30 minutes prior like theyre supposed to, which causes chaos because I have a newborn and dogs.... I have asked to speak with the service manager over 15 times, and 2 months later he has still not called me. I want out of my contract but I cant get ahold of this man. Im beyond frustrated. Its one thing to have all this and be able to speak with a manger but its another to NEVER get called by the manager. Im livid that he hasnt reached out to me. I HIGHLY recommend not using this company as when someone asks to speak with a manger, they should get to at least within a week.... this is a disgrace. Im still waiting....
Jess did a great job removing the hornets nest from our tree.It was about the size of a basketball and swarming with big black hornets.He took his time and safely(without getting stung) removed the nest.
The results are not worth the price. Their services are double the price of their competitors and does not out perform any of them in results. Also, the service agreement gives no option of early termination due to poor results. They only offer to keep sending out a technician every 10 - 14 days. I do not recommend

We are extremely pleased with the services provided by Jess from Insight Pest Solutions. We are first time home owners and new to the area, so some of the pests in our home were new to us. On his visit, Jess was professional and highly knowledgeable on the pest issues we were having. Second, he addressed these issues thoroughly and gave us tips on how to prevent them. Overall great service and experience.
My experience with them has been awful! They came to my house for a routine maintenance spray. The tech that did my spray arrived earlier then planned. Very rude. They made a follow up appt with out me knowing. They charged my account twice without providing any services. They did reimbursed me the money taken out of my account but I received a call telling me that I had fee for cancelling my contract. Who wants to use a company that takes almost $300 out of your account. I’m annoyed that I have to even give them one star. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Jess came to service our property for insects, pests, etc. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful providing thorough explanation on what needed to be done. He could not have been more helpful and courteous. I am very happy with the services offered by Insight and will highly recommend them to everyone looking for pest control.

The technician was suppose to arrive between 11am - 1 pm. He showed at 10:45 and left at 11… this was our first service with Insight pest solution and should of been in depth. The sales man who sold us on using insight told me he was going to do the whole perimeter of the house for ants/fleas/ticks/etc. then the garage and the peaks of the home for wasps. What he failed to do was all the above. He never knocked on the door to let us know he was there, never spoke to us (my wife or me), never went in the back yard or the garage. But on the receipt it said he did these things… I was very dis-pleased with the service and would not recommend them. Iv cancelled my service and refuse to use them or recommend them in the future.
I have had so many issues with this company. The last time I received a quarterly service we had so many spiders on the exterior of our home that I called for a re-treat. The day came and went, and nobody ever showed up for that re-treat appointment. I called the next week and the customer service rep told me that the previous rep miss-scheduled that retreat for one month further than what she told me. I asked to cancel, was routed to an account manager and was told that it would cost me more to cancel (due to fees) than to actually have the final service. I asked how to cancel after that, you guessed it I have to call back AGAIN to cancel. My last service was scheduled for 10 days ago, and the technician never showed AGAIN. I just called the Customer Service line today, and nobody has a clue why my service wasnt completed oh and now, its due for this coming Saturday! No notes as to why they rescheduled. I just want to cancel, products dont work and the service timelines arent adhered to. I would avoid them at all costs!
Not sure they delivered ANY service because each time the Technician came out to my property they spent 15 min MAX on the front and backyard treatment. An invoice and auto-pay immediately followed. The last scheduled treatment was not delivered because I didnt confirm?!? I never confirmed an appointment for a full year, why did I have to this last time?!? To add insult to injury, the Tech took the time to write a note and hang it on my door just to tell me they werent going to treat the yard. What sense does that make?!? NEVER AGAIN
The company had someone come to our doors and ask if we’d be interested in services for pest control. I decided to cancel a service, with a much better company, because insight told me they had better quality product. Turns out the product is awful. I’ve never seen so many spiders and earwigs as I’ve seen this summer. On top of that they do no process my payments on time. And then get an attitude with me when I let them know what kind of financial inconvenience this is. I will NEVER recommend this company and I will not leave quietly. They will not screw me over financially due to their incompetence.
The technicians are great and deserve 5 stars but you cannot call the business I tried several times and after long wait times was dropped from call or gave up On the occasion I tried to leave meassage once mailbox was full and system hung up on me on 2 other occasions no call back or acknowledge of message. Was going to drop service but techs showed up and did a great job. Hard to drop service when they will not answer phone. RIDICULOUS
Upon being g approached for a discount deal for being in the neighborhood I was told there was a deal of $127 for servicing close by. Then it would be regularly charged for $129 every 90 days. I was told that the products were safe for animals and children. The technicians came late and informed me that I needed to leave my home to have the inside of my house sprayed. I have two babies and a dog and was in my robe, not prepared to leave my house. They said they would send another technician out another day to finish the job for that time, no one ever came. I recieved a bill for close to $300 and so I called and asked why they were charging this amount. They finally were able to charge me a ONE TIME PAYMENT of 127 dollars.... well lo and behold I was charged for an additional 129 dollars for services I WAS NOT PROVIDED. They do not know what they are doing an I do not recommend.

A door to door came by and signed us up for a consultation. He said if we were not going to be there they would not perform any services. We were not home and got an email saying they had been there. The house looks the exact same as it did prior to them “providing services”. I have attempted to call numerous times and no one has returned my call. I had to cancel the card they asked us to put on file to hold a spot for the consultation so we wouldn’t get charged for a service not done as well as not giving permission.
My technician the last 2 times has been Jess. He is great! He is always on time, he is very thorough in his explanation of the treatments he is doing, extremely professional and respectful. He even helped me identify a bird that has laid a nest on our porch and he made sure to be extra careful around the mother bird and her babies. He also explained to me the additional mosquito service they provide and when I said I was interested he immediately called to put the request in for the service to be scheduled and I got a call back from the main office within the hour. I am very happy with the services so far and especially happy with Jess and I hope we get to continue to see him in the future!

This company’s treatment is absolutely terrible. I just have them charge me the $120 because every time they spray, my dogs get ticks. Their treatment doesn’t kill the bugs, because their treatment Probably isn’t an anticholinergic or organophosphate. They haven’t tried to spray my house in almost 6 months, but now all of a sudden they tried to spray again. I thought I was out of my contract, but I guess they want to charge me money again. I’m going to review the contract, And if it has already ended, then I am going to take legal action. This company is absolutely terrible. I One hundred percent do not recommend them. If you need any type of bug or pest solution, go with modern exterminator. These guys are crooked and will only draw more bugs towards your property. Thanks

The tech showed up about an hour late but was very kind. He was apologetic and explained he had an equipment problem which caused him to be late. He completed all his work in a timely manner. The bug problem in our house, which we had just bought, has gotten better but is not yet under control. I am not yet sure if it is because of poor condition the previous owners left this house in or if its because of insight. So the 4 star rating is because the tech was late and could have at least called me to let me know he would be late and because I tried to call customer service and I couldnt get any answers as to where the tech was. They just told me he would be there eventually.

We originally had the property treated for ants, wasps, spiders, and fleas. Jess came out on a follow up call regarding a persistent ant problem inside the house after the initial treatment. Contract representative was fantastic however when the technician came out to spray the outside and the interior he told us our house was to new and the interior didn’t need to be sprayed. told me that if I still want it he could do it but that they don’t do it as new as our house was so after that my husband was just frustrated and decided he would spray everything herself.

I called Insight for a follow-up visit for Spittlebugs in my yard, courtesy visit. I have had some issues with applied products not working in the past.. Jess was prompt, professional, informative, and efficient. He explained what he was going to treat for and how he was going to do it...then went to work.

When I lived in NC and used Pest Solutions what they had sprayed for only got worse. When I left NC left charged me for service I didnt want and continue to harass me with phone calls. When I answer the call Im place on hold for 10mins to then explain again that I dont want their service. They couldnt figure out who I was when I was trying to cancel but they remember my card information pretty well. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE FOR ANYTHING.

So I don’t know where to begin. Should start by changing their name to Not Insight cus they never showed. I missed my sons Bar Mitzvah to wait around for 3 and half hours to have them not show up. I also was charged for my service $150 when they said it would be $129 for the whole outside inside and them skeeters.They ended up coming later in the week when I wasn’t home so they couldn’t get inside. I am still waiting for them to do the inside. On my security system I observed the service and only saw the worker spray my home. They didn’t touch the yard or spray anything out there. I’m still seeing fire ants, skeeters, and water bugs everywhere.Don’t make the same mistake I did. Take yo $$$ elsewhere. Also your tech “Jess” urinated on my property.
Never have anyone in area if I have an issue. Call multiple time to get someone. Doesn’t treat anything. Still have issues with ants and do not see any difference if they treat or not. Still have no idea what they actually do. Waste of money and extremely unhappy response time. Techs are great but not much they can do.
Today we had our second service visit. Highly satisfied with the quality of service. Could not be more satisfied with this technician, David Carter. He definitely provided a much high quality service than the previous technician. Will be requesting that he continues to be our technician.
The customer service is atrocious. They came out on 5/12 and broke our fence gate. We immediately called to report the incident as well as send the documentation the person on the phone requested. I was told I would hear back from someone that day, didn’t happen. I called back the next day, same thing “someone will call you by the end of the day.” This went on for two weeks. Finally, called to cancel but the account managers were all busy and I would get a call back... that didn’t happen. Here we are three weeks later, no follow up on the broken fence gate, and no acknowledgement of my service cancellation.
David was very professional, knew what he was talking about and just a good person. This is my first treatment so will have to see what the future has in store. I hope the fire ants go away.
Jess came out this morning and treated the whole yard for ants, spiders, ect. We are having a problem with yellow jackets in the backyard and he was very knowledgeable on the situation and treated for them. Hopefully he took care of them! Very professional company!
They came to my house since its a new neighborhood and told me about the service and the group rate for the neighborhood. That was nice since I was going to have to find someone anyway. They came the next day and took care of the inside and outside of the house including fire ants in the yard and treating the garage. Its a great rate for both inside and outside. I plan to continue using their services quarterly.
Jess did a great job. Pays attention to details, and did not spend any portion of the service call on the telephone! After he completed the treatment of our property, he explained everything he did. He was very courteous and polite. Bugs started dying right away! Just what we like to see.

Called to discuss an ant and wasp issue, and they sent Joey. He was very thorough, and explained a couple of the areas to us, so we knew what they were, amd how he was treating them.
We have always had great service from insight in Snead’s Ferry, Nc but Jess in particular did an outstanding job. He came and serviced our home on 4 May. He explained everything, and clearly took the time to treat our home as if it were his own. This level of service is what makes Jess and the rest of the insight team an essential part of home ownership that I recommend to all my friends!
Insights is a scam. Run as fast as you can! They have a lovely sales staff that visits your home and will lie directly to your face. The pitch was a one time service for a $120, only to find that every quarter, after the service, they charge you $150. When I called to inquire about my bill, they gave me the runaround and told me that I was bound to the contract. Granted, I should have looked more closely at what I was signing, but I took the representative at his word. Not to mention, it was outside and he was using an iPad. The manager tried to talk me into staying and would not come to an agreement about the scandalous/untruthful service I was hoodwinked into. They had a scripted answer for my concerns, validating my thoughts that this shady business practices is a regular occurrence. In order to be free of the contract, they stated I must pay close to $400. They would not even let me speak to a regional manager, a customer service representative, or the CEO. The manager said, “I am the top.” Do yourself a favor and go look at the Better Business Bureau for this company. The Better Business Bureau depicts insight pest control as a one star. I’m surprised employees for this company can sleep at night.
Very good service they are always nice and get every inch of my house if I have other bug related issues they help me with it immediately I have not seen bugs in my house since I started this service

My technician was Amanda! Very professional, sweet and knowledgeable about the service offering. It was a great experience even though I was a little worried about how to direct my dogs for her to do the service, she take advantage and direct me to the proper way to take care of my dogs and receive the full service. Excellent service! She offered a full service and oriented us on the waiting time for the dogs to be outside.

This company is not a scam (you might think so due to their cold calling method). I have had them for 2 years and have been pest free! If they miss a spot the first time, they come back FOR FREE. Its an amazing price that is cheaper than handling it yourself.
I hired Insight Pest Solutions back in June of 2021. They gave me what seemed to be a good deal to have my house treated because a few of my neighbors had hired them as well. The first treatment they showed up on time and did the job, a week later, I had more bugs than I did before they came. I called them and they said that they would come out and retreat my home free of charge and they told me they’d call me back to set up an appointment. After nearly a month, I called them back and voided my complaint about how they never got back to me. The representative told me that he would have someone come out to treat my house between 7am-7pm ( yes a 12hr window). After waiting all day no one came and no one called me to let me know they weren’t coming. That following Monday I cialled Insight to cancel my service because I had been stood up twice and having a treatment done without getting any results. When I told them I wanted to cancel my services with the first representative said that they had scheduled me for a service this Monday (without my permission). The representative was also unapologetic and seemed not to care that I was not getting what I paid for and told me that I’d be charged a termination fee because I did not stay in the agreed contract. I was pretty ticked off when I was told that being that my invoices were all paid in full, I received a service that didn’t work, and was stood up for two additional appointments. The representative gave me a number to call and see about getting the termination fee waived. When I called, the manager refused to waive the termination but offered to give me $20 of each visit until the contract had ended. This is extortion, I’m being forced to pay a large termination fee or stay in a contract that requires me to kick out hundreds of dollars for poor services, bad customer service, and given a 12hr time frame for me to wait at home for them to never show up.

Do not recommend. They trap you in a contract, never show up and then threaten to charge you $280 to cancel for them not honoring their own contract. They are a scam.
Jess, our technician, was extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk with. As a new resident to this state, he was very helpful in explaining the environment and what preventions can be done to minimize any unwanted guests. I am very appreciative for his visit and feel better about living in our home.

Service technician was scheduled to arrive between 9 and 11 am. Was early! Very professional and friendly. Took care of wasp nests, sprayed yard, warned to not let my dogs around treated areas for at least an hour. Very happy with service so far.
Their services never worked great anyways, but when I called to cancel my services and ask what I would owed because I was a renter that had to move out of my property due to the owner selling the home they told me I owed nothing. Now 3 months later they are calling me 2-3 times in one minute multiple times a day telling me I owe for a service plus for canceling early. Each customer service rep tells you something different, and none of them no what they are actually talking about.

The quarterly service they use is effective and they are courteous enough to call ahead and schedule those with you to best work for you.However, if an issue comes up to where you need them to come fast, forget it. Had an issue with ants and they were not able to come until 2 full days later. By then I’d treated the ants myself, but I know I can’t do as good a job.For a pest control company to not respond to a customers emergency of insects/pests in a home is outrageous.

My wife was told by the sales person who came to my neighborhood in Goldsboro NC. That everything would be included in their treatment for 120$ a quarter including my ants out in the yard, mosquitos, spiders and everything else we had been seeing but when the service tech came out he did a quick spray around the base of our home knocked some spider webs down and then left. I have never been more upset in my life and when she tried to cancel they said we would be stuck paying over 300$ which again was not told to us by the sales rep. Terrible company please do not be tricked into giving them business like my wife was.
Jesse is our preferred service technician. He sits there and explains everything hes doing to our 5 y.o. son. He always asks if the inside needs to be done and does just a great job!

The technician and salesman were professional. How ever after they told me I would only see dead cockroaches and the fire ant hills would be dead as soon as he treated them. That did not happen. I saw more cockroaches than before and also more ant hills. I have treated 8 hills since they treated them. I am finished with this company I want my contact canceled. I paid too much money for the treatment that was applied and saw no results
