I went here for a manicure and pedicure, Kristie did my nails for me. She was so sweet and caring, she keep asking me if everything is good. I also did not expect affordable prices for such wonderful services. They also offered free ice cream and beverage. Totally recommend this place and Im definitely coming back.

A great pedicure experience for the modern hustle and bustle we all face. The cost is reasonable and the experience, magnificent. And this, coming from a male painting his toes to torment his children. They dont judge at Nail Wonder.

I have been coming here for over 15 years. They have consistently high quality services with a kind, funny and enjoyable staff. They have accommodated my every request. They make me feel like part of the family! I get complements on my nails all the time and always let the person know that Nail Wonder is the only place I go.

I got a gel manicure on Sunday and the gel on three of my nails starting peeling by Wednesday. Also the girl doing my nails didn’t even paint it all the way there was gel missing from the sides. My friend got acrylics and they all popped off within days. But the people who work there are nice.

Exactly what I came here for! Went in for a full set of lCN gel and Kristie took note of the simplicity of what I needed and wanted. Will go here every time when in Wilmington.

3rd time Ive made an appt for pedi-mani only to wait more than 40 minutes. Apparently they make an appointments but take whoever walks through the door.

Did not clean cuticles properly. The polish was not on sides of nails. Manager came over and said it was good loudly trying to convince me I was crazy.She was rude. Finally I asked my options. She said she would take off polish and give me back $5 of the 17. I said that is not acceptable so she said someone else would paint them. Horrible business relations. The other lady Tina did finish and do my cuticles better and then polished them. The manager did not handle this well.

I had a great experience. I realized I have been getting ripped off by other nail salons, when I have paid for gel nails. The gel nails they do here are thee best. They dont chip, or crack. They look good for almost a month. Its crazy. I am hard on my nails at work, but they do such a good job, they look fresh for weeks. Ill never go anywhere else. Theyre clean, and professional. Love this place.

Hannah is the best at manicures. She takes pride in her work and goes that extra steps. She works hard for a little and raising her child by herself.If you go in there, ask for Hannah. It is worth the wait if you have to.

I specifically ask if they could do pink and white powder. She said yes. I had 3 different people work on my nails!! The final person kept telling me how you should not use the powder and use gel. After a lot of time and 2 cuts with the dremel, I had to end up getting gel. I have never had anyone shake powder on my nails trying to get the french look. My nails are hideous looking, they charged $50.00 and I hope I will not end up at Dr with infection. Will not be back.

I’ve been to almost every nail salon in Wilmington. This is the only salon that has had consistently good manicurists. I do get many compliments from friends and strangers alike regarding my nails & toes. I have had Tiffany (who moved to their newest location in Porter’s Neck), Tommy (manager), Lisa (owner), & most recently, Duy. He spent time on my fill-in making sure each nail was absolutely perfect. I then had Tina for my pedicure, which always looks super sharp, & gives great massages on my legs & feet. I’ve also had my brows done & the neck/shoulder massage several times as well. I highly recommend any of the above for your nail & foot needs.

Very clean, great nail place, thorough, only place I have gone since moving here. Busy. Suggest getting an appt. Great pedicures. They have another shop over in Carolina Beach, orange building, new. Everyone is very good.

Super Super Impressed with the quality of my nails! Got a Pedicure with my mom and sister and our toes look awesome! Lots of nail colors to choose from and they have free coffee, free drinks, and ice cream if you want it! I had my finger nails done at another salon and they looked awful so I got my nails fixed and filled here and they look 100% better! Love the color and the finger nails actually look natural even though they are acrylic! I will definitely be going back! Thanks again!

I slept wrong and woke up with an extremely sore neck. It hurt to check my blind spot while driving. My boss recommended I go here to take advantage of their $15 massage for 15 minutes. The lady that did the massage had the grip strength of a professional rock climber. It almost hurt at first but after the 15 minutes was up I could move my neck again. No complaints at all from me. Would not hesitate to go again if needed.

I went into this salon as a walk-in... they said they could fit me in and within 10mins had me in a chair... I specifically asked the women if the polish would hold up and she said oh of course! She applied the polish, and didn’t take the time to shape or clean up my nail at all... I leave the salon with a full set within 30mins ... the same day I noticed bubbling at the tip of my nail, the paint ended up chipping off. I went in for a repair today, and they agreed it would be free. Day 3 with these nails, another nail begins to bubble after the shower, the entire polish has peeled off my pointer finger and thanksgiving is tomorrow. I can easily say I won’t be returning to this salon, it’s ridiculous to pay for Gel polish and a filling just for the polish to come off in 1-4 days.

I went here a few months ago and I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE EVER AGAIN! I got everything 3-4 weeks by choice, you can wait longer, but I love their work so I go as often as I can. I love this place! I am dedicated to the owner of this salon and she does wonders! I can get something simple like French, or do something fun like ombre or other nail designs. I love rhinestones! They will work with you - if you want something then tell them and they will do it or do something even better! They are energetic and fun and are easy to joke around with. Ive had so many nail desings done and I have left happy every time. Ive never received so many compliments on my nails before. This place rocks!

Not only did they do a great job, but there is something about this place that feels cozy, maybe the rugs, the noise in the background, the friendliness of the staff, whatever it is I had a great time!

I have been a frequent customer at this location. I went last Friday and got gel polish on my natural nails. The person who did them made the Polish really thick and it was bumpy in a lot of areas. I didnt notice how bad it really was until I got outside and saw it in the natural light. At that point I just figured I would deal with it because Im not one of those types that likes to speak to the manager and throw a fit. 4 days later, the Polish started falling off of my fingernails. Gel polish should last a few weeks with no issues. Mine normally lasts about three weeks before I need to go get it done again. I went up to the nail salon and showed them my hands today. Instantly they said they were sorry and had me sit down so they could fix them. They look wonderful now, as they usually do. The woman who did them the last time came over to apologize, which I told her it was totally okay. The manager checked in with me upon leaving and told me if theres ever any problems they will always fix them for me. They did not charge me anything today. Im a firm believer in good business practices and today they did a wonderful job. Not only did they fix my nails, they were very polite, accommodating and professional. Sometimes a person can have an off-day and thats okay because we are all human. The way they treated me and took care of the issue ensures that they have a customer from here on out. I am satisfied with the experience and highly recommend this place.

I will never go back here again. I was treated with extreme disrespect. Also, I didnt sign up to be a guinea pig for a nail polish you didnt know how to use. I came in to have a relaxing time and get colorful nails before I went to a festival. Instead I ended up with french tips because the nail techs there dont know what the hell they are doing. Plus, the guy that did my french tips did a terrible job.Im not happy with my nails, nor this place. I would not send anyone there. They are disrespectful to you and only care about getting your money. Not about the quality of the job they are doing for you.Save yourself the stress and the money. I spent 61 dollars there for my toes, manicure, and french tips. It wasnt worth the money at all.

I wanted to give this place a chance but they lied to me. I suffer from extreme anxiety and I cannot handle being around a lot of people. I asked 3 times on the phone if they were busy, they said no. I made an appointment for 2 services and when I got in there nearly every pedicure chair was full and all the other nail techs were busy doing finger nails. It was packed. After waiting 10 mins I said I have to go I’ll come back later she told me it would only be 2 more minutes (which I didn’t believe). They also tried to put me in a pedicure chair and soak my feet while I wait but I could see 2 other women already doing the same thing and waiting so I knew I’d be there forever. Lying to customers is never good and I will not be back. Just because people ask if it’s busy doesn’t mean they are impatient it could mean they have other issues you are not aware of and maybe next time be honest instead of trying to make that extra buck.

Every time I come in, I am treated special! The job is always done thoroughly!

Friendly place with friendly staff. Only got basic pedicure but already need to fill in and I just had it done THIS afternoon because Tina (after being handed off to her from someone else) didnt even paint to cuticles nor the edge of nails - perhaps I should have loaned her my reading glasses.

This is the only place i will get my eyebrows done. I have got my nails done before here and they always turn out bad. They dont put the tips on straight and when i have gotten a regular manicure it looks like i painted them myself. But they do a awesome job on eyebrows!

Will not be returning! They are the worst nail salon in Wilmington. They messed up my nail design and instead of taking the polish off and redueing it. They painted over it and said look now you no see but you could see it. And on top of that. They rushed us out of our chairs without our toes being even half dry, because they had to clean them. So our toes got smudged and messed up. Used to be the best place, what a shame!

Always an enjoyable time getting pampered. Have met several of the employees and most have been great. HOWEVER Lamson cut my toes while trying to trim my nails. He messed up the polish and didnt fix it properly. Such a shame that while celebrating a friends birthday we had to deal with the worst treatment weve ever had.Many friends have had similar bad experiences with just this one employee.

Conveniently located in Masonboro Commons, Nail Wonder is a good place to go to get your nails done. They are accommodating whether or not you have a reservation, and allow you to pick your salonist if you have a favorite. The services are priced about the same as other salons in the area and they provide complimentary beverages. The massage seats are fairly new and work well. The overall atmosphere is not super fancy, but its clean and comfortable. I havent had anything done there but manis and pedis, but I have noticed people coming in for waxing, etc.

Please ladies do not go to this salon. Ive gone here for almost three years and today was by far my worst vist to this salon. I requested a basic $10 manicure with an extra 5$ French tip on my nail with a $10 eyebrow wax. Before I even sat in the chair I asked the manager how much a gel nail cost and I didnt want to do it so I said no thanks. Now dont get me wrong my nails and eyebrows looked great but when I get to the counter to pay they said $45. I said um no I get the basic nail manicure no acrylics with a French tip and a eyebrow wax. They sing even says. The manger was like she did gel. I have got my nails done enough to well know that she did not use gel she used basic nail polish. So I walk over to the table grab the bottle and show the manger and all he said was why didnt you stop her? Im sorry I thought I was paying a lisenced professional to do them. I would have mind paying if she USED GEL ON MY NAILS but it was a basic nail. They refused to agree on the payment and she goes will I will give you a $5! Discount. Do not go to this salon. Ridiculous.

Always get great service! Nails dont separate from under overlays or tops of my nails even when I go to long between fill-in.

Most other salons do a finger tip soak before taking off shellac. Not this salon!!!! They drill it off???? Which is like thinning my nails. I had a lady who had no idea what she was doing. Then a dumb lady named Tina tried telling me that the soaking was the same as their drilling off. Hunny, no its not. My nails felt soooo thin after it. I almost left during the process, but I didnt wanna be too rude and cause a scene, but literally ladies do not ruin your nails going here. Also, its been a week since I been there, and my some nails are already kind of peeling off. Whereas other salon like Luxe and Posh nails my nails will last like almost two weeks. I highly recomend Posh or Luxe here in Wilmington.

Came in with party of four. Fourth being man having a quick pedi. Mine start 10 minutes later. I timed it. Asked for coffee, black - goy coffee with cream. Left it. You Girl Tina was inexperienced at best. Awful job. Put pedi shoes on without toe separators and I had no time to dry cause everyone else done. Man was able to go have mani cause of timing. Very poorly organized an inefficient use of planning. Terrible.

The lady did not do a good job today with my manicure or pedicure.I ask her to redo my feet and she replied all of it is not coming off.The lady used a buffer of some sort but Like said she it did not all come off she gets a E for effort.I paid $43 and still had to come home and use my ped egg.

I got my eyebrows done and the older lady did excellent! but a younger lady did my twin sisters and rushed and almost made her bleed!!! i got my nails done about a year ago and the older lady that did my eyebrows did amazing at my nails and eyebrows!!!!!!!!!!!!
