I cannot safe enough AMAZING things about Jennifer McFarland and Currie. The salon is lovely, the staff top notch. Appointments are made with ease by a friendly and (more than) competent staff. The atmosphere is not only clean, It’s soothing. And Jennifer? Jennifer’s strengths lie in listening to her clients, hearing them- what has worked for them in the past, what hasn’t worked, what their lifestyle dictates, and their dream hair. Then, she somehow works her magic and finds a way to help clients use what they have and transform it into the best style for them. She will take your hair and make it better, using its natural tendencies and making them work for you, resulting in style/color that not only suits you but makes your daily routine easier, and you happy- with the style and your own ability to replicate it. I have been coming to Currie to see Jennifer for more than 20 years and it just keeps getting better and better.

Tried Currie last week for a facial and a faceless facial (back & chest) and I was very happy! Laura is a treasure!!! She is so good in what she does and is a real pro! I am back today to see her again for a body scrub and the service was amazing! She did not disappoint! I will keep on coming back! Thanks Laura and thanks Currie Justison, Wilmington DE!

I am literally dissatisfied with the salon- I went for a hair cut and I was 10 min late so they said they won’t be able to blow dry my hair, which I agreed to since it was my fault for coming late. But when I went to make the payment they charged me the fullPrice they didn’t even give me discount for not blow drying my hair.. I am feeling rip off for some reason for spending full price for just 15 min appointment.Not satisfied at all. I am not going there anymore.

I came here after getting my hair done for the first time and wasn’t satisfied. Megan did a color correction/color to my hair. It turned out better than I could have even hoped!! I love it! Megan is amazing and it was very quick and quality service.

I went to Currie for a massage and was greeted in a friendly manner immediately! Vanessa took my temperature and I met with Amber. Wow! Wow! Wow! I normally get a 60 minute massage but added a cupping service because I was having some pain in my lower back (quarantine gardening 🤣) I immediately felt relief and developed a treatment plan with Amber! I can’t wait to go back! She was so professional and listened to me and what my needs were! Thank you Amber! You’re amazing!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

ASHLEY IS A MIRACLE WORKER!!!I am new to Wilmington and my hair is a bit challenging so I was nervous to try anyone new. I really hit the jackpot by finding Ashley, she will be my stylist forever!!!Both my cut and color were PERFECT. I have never loved my hair this much. In addition to giving me a great style and huge confidence boost, she also suggested lots of places to go and things to do locally since I just moved here and don’t know anyone around here yet.Thank you so much, Ashley! It is high end, which can be a little intimidating for me, but everyone who works there made me feel at home. Also the prices aren’t sky high like most “fancy” salons. I can’t wait to get a facial or a massage here soon!

Ive been going to Currie for about 5 years. Everyone is friendly and provides great service. The atmosphere is professional, but relaxed.Deb Todd is my stylist and she is amazing. Chelle is her assistant and I think she also sees clients on her own. She is also amazing. I highly recommend Currie salon at Justison Landing.

Every experience here has been amazing. I always feel welcomed and that the stylists genuinely want me to be happy with my color and cut. Tracy just gave me one of the best cuts of my life and I couldnt be more thankful. 5 stars isnt enough.

I frequent the PA location which has ALWAYS been super amazing and staff has always been kind. I called the Wilmington location to see what services they were providing now after the shut down and what restrictions they had in place, etc. As soon as he answered, Brandon was extremely rude and wouldn’t let me ask any questions, only kept asking me what service I wanted: Definitely won’t be coming here or recommending!

Kim gave me a great cut. Cynthia gave my wife a great pedicure. And Jennifer and Vanessa at the front desk are friendly and welcoming. We always enjoy our visits to Currie at the Riverfront!

I booked a very last minute appointment with a Level 1 Stylist. I needed a balayage maintenance with root darkening, with a cut, and she was AMAZING. The prices were lower than a handful of other salons I have visited in the area but with a significantly higher end salon feel. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, made appropriate product recommendations and I walked out one super satisfied client!

I absolutely adore Currie Hair, Skin, & Nails on the Riverfront. As a graduate student and a full-time working professional, I rarely have time to relax and focus on myself. Every time I visit Currie on the Riverfront, their staff is not only kind and professional but they listen t my concerns about how my work and stress effect my body and always tailor my facial and massage experiences to suit my needs. The Riverfront locations is convenient, clean and the staff is always wonderful. I will always recommend Currie on the Riverfront for a spa experience.

Great massage by Larissa, one of the best, and Ive had many. Lovely haircut and style. Ashley had a good sense of how my hair would behave. My manicure and pedicure were fine, just pricier than Im used to.

Had a nail emergency while visiting Delaware. After too long with acrylics and gel my nails were DONE for. Paper thin, very deep grooves, and quite embarrassing. Mary took care of me, and she went out of her way to tell me how to take better care of my nails. She was so warm and personable as well -- next time I am in Delaware, I will DEFINITELY be back.

Ive been going to Currie on the Wilmington Riverfront for almost 2 years after leaving Philadelphia. I have had an excellent experience with Dan and the rest of the staff over that time. Thanks for providing such good and professional service and making me feel appreciate as a customer. Theyve also been a generous supporter of our museum events (The Delaware Contemporary).

Love going to Currie. I switched there after a former hairdresser, who Id been going to for years, hacked my mom and my hair up! We had an appointment with Jenni-Sue and she fixed it for both of us. Weve been going back ever since and couldnt be happier with her work. It is a nice, clean and serene environment. Whenever we walk in we are greeted by pleasant staff who are also very helpful when checking out. Couldnt be more happy with Currie and would highly recommend checking it out.

Dominic is not only an amazing talent, he also keeps you laughing the entire time you’re in his chair! Most importantly though, is the fact that he listens to what you want, considers what your hair is willing and able to do, and finds that spot that makes it all work! My hair has never looked healthier and styling it now a breeze. Dominic gives me one less thing to worry about!

Originally got my cut by Ashley and the cut was ok. I needed to go back because there were hairs that were missed in my length. The first service was lack luster. Nothing about this experience made me feel like I was in a luxury salon. I arrived early but sat in the lobby for some time. When we started the service she told me that she was bored because she didn’t have a guest before me. My second trip back to get the length fixed was just as equally disappointing. She just ran a brush through my hair, asked few questions, and seemed annoyed.The quality and the price doesn’t match the service.

Love them. I go here for nails and hair. Theyre fantastic at what they do and so friendly and nice.

I would never return to this salon again. If I did, I would never get Megan. Not even if the choices were let a 3 year old cut my hair or let Megan do it. I asked for a trim - 4 inches of hair later I now have a hack job for an extremely important interview and my best friends wedding. It took her over two hours - 20 of which was spent washing it. She spent 10 of it smoking a cigarette. The only thing that was REMOTELY redeeming was the manager offering a corrective cut for free the next morning.

My hair looks fabulous my stylist was chelle pimer and I love be being a blonde for the summer.
