Did not bring necessary supplies and would not had call if we hadn’t wondered why he was not at our place..felt like he didn’t care to do the job too much work to sand a tub which I informed him a week earlier
This is absolutely the worst company to ever do business with! Brian does terrible work, don’t show up when they are suppose too, Unprofessional. If you want to have the work redone in a matter of weeks use this company!
Surface Specialists repaired a hole in the acrylic shower at the property. Corey was very knowledgeable, and Surface Specialists was the only company contacted that would even consider repairing the shower (all other companies insisted the shower would need to be replaced). Corey assessed the situation based off of a picture and even worked directly with the tenant at the property to schedule the repair. The final result color matches perfectly, and the repair was very reasonably priced.
I use these guys at our hotel about once every year or so. Our tubs are older, and get a LOT of use, so theres a fair amount of wear and tear. Corey and Brian are great about working around our schedule due to guest occupancy, and the tubs look great when theyre done.
Very friendly and respectful of our new home. In and out in twenty minutes. After someone working in our home gauged a deep hole in our new tub I was very sceptical that it could be restored to new condition. Wow! That is what I said when I saw the result of Coreys work. I cannot believe the tub was ever damaged. Great job!
I needed a shower liner due to a crack in my walk-in shower. I spoke to Corey and also emailed Corey and Charlie. After emailing a picture of my damaged shower floor, Corey offered two days in which my shower liner or overlay could be installed, September 12 or September 13. I selected September 13. I never received a confirmation and unsure of the status, I called and emailed, both email addresses and both phone numbers, trying to get an update. As of today I have not received any response to my emails or my phone calls.Initially I thought, given its a family business, something may have happened or that somehow they might have been impacted by the recent hurricanes, although the hurricanes did not hit Wilmington. I am mainly disappointed that a family owned business, which I prefer, showed such a lack of customer service and follow-up. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the silence I received is inexcusable. They were highly recommended to me and I feel let down. I have not yet been able to get my shower fixed.
Wow!!! I was unable to find the ding in the acrylic tub when Corey was done. He also saw some paint overspray on the tub and fixed that too. Corey was on time and VERY professional. The fee was remarkably reasonable. Corey also gave me care instructions for the tub before he left. I would recommend him for any surface problems.
Cory is a good dude and does good work if you can ever reach him.
They didnt show up for my first scheduled appointment so I called to find out why and the excuse was that they ran out time to make it to my appointment. They apologized, so I gave them a second chance and rescheduled for the next day. Once again, they didnt show up. They still havent contacted me with a reason why so, needless to say, I would not recommend this business due to their terrible customer service. If I could give zero stars, I would.
