This place is awesome! Was looking for a place to take my car on the fly when my regular place was booked up and heard some great things about TJs. Super honest and extremely reasonable prices. Plus the owner is such a nice guy! Now making this my new regular place after such a great experience. Take your car here and you wont regret it.

Professional knowledgeable and courteous staff. Excellent pricing. I am a new home owner in Delaware and need a great mechanic. I went to a local shop near my home and I had my brakes done on Foulk Road and they are a rip off. I had a problem with my brakes pulling my truck to the right also broke my headlight bulb. I went to TJs and they fixed my headlight in minutes and my brakes the same day. Highly recommend TJs family owned shop they do everything you need for any make and model or year of car truck van suv.

Excellent service and great prices T.J. is a great mechanic and very knowledgeable I went to get brakes done at another place and put in a headlight bulb. The other mechanic kept my truck since 10 am and called me at 430 to say hes keeping the truck overnight and when I came in the morning only the brakes were done but the headlight bulb was broken. I was charged 585 and even for labor for the headlight that they broke and was told to come back to try to fix the headlight. Wasted my whole day. I went to T.J. auto repair and he fixed the bulb in 5 minutes. I highly recommend TJ auto repair to anyone with any kind of car or truck domestic or foreign they can do the work right the 1st time. I have to many mechanics because I try to take good care of my cars and trucks and since Im new to Delaware I lesrned my 1st lesson. Thank you to TJ the most honest and knowledgeable mechanic around. TJ will be my go to mechanic from now on. And if you want work done the right way make sure you take your any model car or truck to TJs only!

A literal rockstar mechanic. Faster at the labor, charged me nearly half what my marcus hook guy was charging. Incredibly honest and even educated me on my own repairs and such. Literally an amazing, hard working man. Could not ask for better service. Wont be going anywhere else.

Ramon was amazing. I had an issue with my battery cable and he fixed it under an hour. Wonderful mechanic! Cant say enough how grateful I am to have found a tremendously fair business! It is rare to find a competent, honest and reasonable mechanic. I will be back.

These guys were terrific. Last summer I was driving down to the Eastern Shore of Maryland when the radiator hose on my 1978 Buick sprung a leak. I limped from I-95 to TJs. Although they were busy with other jobs they quickly ordered and installed a new one for me. I was back on the road with only a minimal delay. In the meantime the fellas were very nice and easy to talk to.

Great little shop. Got engine work done and needed am oil change. Because of the price of the engine work they did the oil change at no charge.

Check engine light came on...took to TJ’s and fixed that same day. Needed MAF sensor cleaned. Said if it came on again he would work with me to replace it. These guys were very professional and honest. He could have said I needed a new part, etc and only charged $80. The dealer wanted $140 just to look at it. Will be going back to TJ’s

Tjs auto repair is the best experience Ive ever had with getting my car fixed by a wide margin. They were friendly, service was quick and and very affordable. Generally I dread taking my car in but this time instead of one the usual places I go to I went with TJs and I can say with confidence that Ill be going there any time I need a repair.

Owner talks nice like hes helping you but hes really finding ways to take your money. No matter what kind of help you think you might be getting get your receipts and after your done get another mechanic to look at it to make sure he really done the job and its done right!

Got an oil change and tires rotated at another place but they didnt balance my tires! These guys fixed my imbalance at a reasonable price and put the weights on the inside.

Stay Away!!!!!! Go to any other garage. Shop said they did an oil change and charged me for it 4 months later my engine was shot, never did it, sad part was I never asked for the work to be done either, Karma will find you and get even!!!!!!!

Just about one of the best mechanic experiences I have ever had. Great prices and trustworthy. They fixed my truck and informed me of another thing wrong, but told me i didnt have to address it immediately. When i said that it might be something i could do he was very supportive and told of the areas where i might have some trouble. Then offered advice and his impact drill if I got stuck. I know of no other shop that would act in such a neighborly manner. Thanks Ramon - you da man!!!

I never write reviews. Ever. But Im doing one for TJs. I signed up to Yelp and posted to Google so I could do this.So I broke down on I-95 south of Delaware Ave during rush hour. Im new to the area and I called TJs because they were close to my house and I figured I would have to walk home. Full disclosure:Theyre a little brusque over the phone, but believe me, this is trivial. TRIVIAL.First of all, when he came to tow me in, he was quick and the rig was SPOTLESS inside and out. I know it sounds minor but it was clear he cared about his equipment and his customers. He was polite, friendly, and cheerful. We all know how hard that is at 5:00 PM on 95.Second, he called me 1st thing in the AM with his diagnosis and the price. I searched online and his prices were VERY competitive. He hardy charged me anything for the tow as well. I drive an import thats not always easy to find parts for, and he got it all done THAT DAY. When I picked it up after work, he had it waiting and cooled-off for me!He did a full inspection and replaced a minor part and didnt charge me for it (I double-checked because I didnt believe he wouldnt charge me for it, but it really was replaced for free).Breaking down on the highway during rush-hour is a stressful experience, but TJs Auto Electric made the best out of a bad, bad, bad situation. He made a customer for life. Id recommend him to anyone. He told me I take care of my people, well, he certainly does.

Owner (Ramone) and staff know their stuff. They service all makes but my experience is with Subarus. I used TJs instead of the dealership for maintenance of my Subaru; they also accommodated my busy schedule. Owner is very fair with prices and turnaround time. Its a no-frills shop if you want quality work and not pay for fluff. Owner also thoroughly serviced my Crosstrek before I moved out West. I drove over 2,000 mi; it was a great trip with NO problems. Wish I knew a mechanic out here with the same expertise of a dealership without dealership prices.

Went here to inquiry about some performance upgrades for my car and the work staff was very unfriendly and confrontational as if I was wasting their time. Will not be returning nor recommending anyone to come here
