Wow is all I can say! I am truly impressed with all the repairs they did on my vehicle, and there were a lot of them. My vehicle is now running better than when I bought it. They probably don’t want to see me again for awhile. But seriously, I am totally satisfied with the service and I will continue to patronize this awesome LOCAL small business.

Paid them over $800 to fix a problem that wasnt fixed. Said part they replaced could have been defective and was under warranty, but wouldnt replace part if I didnt spend more money. This wasnt the first time they got us. But, it was the last. Highly recommend NOT using this place.

Will not recommend, charged for services he didnt complete. Owner threatened me, unprofessional acts, and owners very unpredictable in his actions. They broke a hose on my vehicle, and charged me for it. Didnt supply me a written estimate upon request and did unauthorized repairs. Owner got mad. Told me to come have my vehicle towed away. Left apart, another mechanic shop quoted over $4000, in damages after removal from his shop. In one of many unauthorized charges, he charged for a battery I supplied to him, he charged me for replacement, and installing, but when tow truck arrived owner had removed battery and put into car... so charged for services he didnt truly do. Refuses to communicate with me, and to make it right. Again, will not recommend this business.

I did not have an appointment and they looked like they had plenty to do, but they got my oil change done in less than an hour. It was reasonably priced as well. Thank you Bisig Automotive!

Great experience everytime I go there

Bisig Automotive did the repair on my car and it drives like new again. I couldnt be happier with it.

They do good work, but prices seemed a little high- $75 for synthetic oil and tire rotation. When I asked what the oil cost, they told me it “varies by car” and wouldn’t give an answer. Nothing was listed on invoice for oil either. In addition, they told me I needed some $300 in brake work urgently done- which was fair given the state of my rotors, but the next day my coworker went in for oil and they told her she needed $400 in extra work too. That made me think that they were taking advantage of our lack of knowledge about cars. Overall a good quality shop, but may be taking advantage of less knowledge clients to make a few extra bucks.

I contacted Bisig Automotive for repairs on my daughters car while she was away at college. Bisig was great to deal with even from a distance. James was polite and professional. James kept me updated with progress and estimates on the repairs. Bisigs pricing was competitive and the customer service was top notch. After my experience with Bisig Automotive, they will be the only auto repair that I will trust to take care of my childrens vehicles in Wilmington! Thank you James.

Just had them do an oil change. People were really friendly, price fair, the only issue was that it took over an hour for the oil change. This was my first visit so I dont know if this is typical or if they were short on people.

Way too over priced labor cost to replace one brake light bulb which was provided. The Bulb was $8, yes you pulled a nail out of my tire, but no patch was needed. I did not ask you to do a safety check of my vehicle either. Although I am appreciative you found my tie-rod is going bad. Your charges is still way too high. I gave you an extra star for getting me in right away.

Took my daughters vehicle in..long story short was told we needed a new cable on the battery that would cost 600$, we didnt. Was told it also needed an alternator. Total cost of parts and labor 1002$.Took it to another mechanic in town. It needed an alternator,due to a small oil leak around a gasket. Total cost to fix with labor 555$. Vehicle is running great now. I would NOT recommend Bisig.

My daughter’s car broke down on the way to Columbus, coming home from college. Bisig Auto arranged for a tow truck driver, who was there within 30 minutes. They then got us right in, repaired at a reasonable cost and had us up and running in record time. They came through in a true clutch.

I am a weekend mechanic and as such i have done just about everything including rebuilding engines. When I need a repair done, done right and I need to trust someone, Jim is the only one I will go to. He is honest, and he is one of the best mechanics i have ever come across. His prices are reasonable and his service is top notch.

I have been in the Wilmington area for twenty years and was dealing with the same auto repair shop in Wilmington but a few years ago they changed management and needless to say went downhill and I started having nothing but issues with them. I recently had my starter go out in Wilmington and my vehicle towed to that particular auto shop. After getting a quote that I felt was way too high, someone recommended Bisig. After hearing my situation, they towed my vehicle from that place and replaced the starter literally for half of what Monroe was going to charge. No issues since. After this experience, they will likely be earning more business from me when needed, hopefully just not that often 😂

Absolutely worst experience at an auto shop. Been to a lot of auto shops and just came to this one for new brakes. Was told a typical brake and rotor job was $250. The first call back from them I was quoted $700. Never was I told per axle for the “typical brake job”. So later I find out I really owe $500. by the end I ended up owing $860. After getting all new brake pads, rotors, and two new calipers my brakes actually feel worse, less responsive, than before, and my E brake doesn’t work at all like it did before. The problem here wasn’t the prices, I see the prices do line up, but the lack of communicating “per axle”, giving me estimates, and arguing with me over the phone as I was just trying to understand it all was not right.

The world was exactly what was needed at a very fair price!

Called this place to get a estimate on a oil change lady answered told me to bring my car in to shop that she couldnt give estimates over the phone. I think this place just makes you bring your car there to get that hidden charge for just looking at your vehicle. Most places dont charge to look at ur car, they will charge you once you have work done to it and labor. I got ripped off here too. Never again will I bring my vehicles to this whack place. Owner wants to say his 20+years mechanics know everything and everyone else is wrong. Well I took my car to a legit dealership and paid way less for a oil change then what I was told at this place. Always ask before dropping your car off to check how much your getting ripped off for someone to just look at ur car. Those hidden fees arent posted anywhere in this shop. Wish I read all the reviews before having my car looked at. Looks like all his reviews are personal friends not actual customers. Ive read reviews over pricing and now I know why! Dont take your car here.

Son’s car broke down on I71, outside Wilmington, on his way home from school for Thanksgiving. Found Bisig on-line and had to put our trust in an unknown mechanic in an unfamiliar city.Go here! They fixed a water pump belt that had broken, didn’t find a bunch of “extra problems” to “fix” and charged a fair price. We’ll probably never need them again, but wish they were located in Louisville or Columbus. They’d be our go-to.

To tell me there an oil leak leaking somewhere and the serpentine belt needs changed he only charged $44 he is honest as possible I will be back to your shop if needed thank so much. Oh but for the serpentine belt and oil leak will be $413 a little pricey but Idk if I got the money at least Im getting my car fixed with care.

They were rude and failed to mention it was $80 just for my car to be looked at. They Also tried to charge me $1200 to repair it. I took it to a different shop the same day and they fixed it for $700. Overall, I dont recommend this place

This shop is the only place ill bring my vehicles theyve always done good work and pricing is reasonable. That being said i dont normally trust anyone to work on my cars because of past experiences with other shops like monro muffler and firestone but bisig has never tried to pressure me into getting other things done theyll tell you what needs fixed and what can wait which is rare these days.

Through a shared miscommunication my car was supposedly fixed after I explained the full payment would take me multiple payroll checks to replace a fuel pump at $827.65, and after a competitor, Midnight Mechanic, came in at $500. No ownership, no meeting of the minds was obliged and my mode of transportation resorted to catching the transit bus and my own walking for several weeks out. Once I picked up my car, no dialogue was exchanged on the details of the new fuel pump, any potential warrantys, just some swipes of my credit cars and a pass over of the receipt.I was taken advantage of, overcharged, and was offered horrible customer service.Shop around, youll thank me for it later.

Very professional, and courteous Staff. Have had automobiles worked on here before, and feel they do great work, and have never felt like they overcharged.
