I had an excellent experience at Jack Smiths! Not only were they able to fix my Jeep in one day, they educated me on how my engine works and showed me what went wrong. They took time out of their super busy day to fix my Jeep and I am so grateful! I would recommend Jack Smiths to anyone! No doubt the BEST in town!

Does not listening, is disrespectful and unprofessional. He put the truck in the middle of the street, blocking both me and my neighbors driveways. Also by putting the truck in the street, the tow driver made it difficult for cars to get up and down the street. And I was never given paper work for the tow. Do not use this tow company ever

Had a great experience, especially being a first time customer. I was traveling out of state and broke down on 95. Called Jack Smiths (based off of other good reviews) and they certainly lived up to the hype. Tow truck driver arrived within 15 minutes of calling. He was friendly and had my car up in no time. Talked a bit on the way back to the garage and wished me luck. The mechanic on duty was great. He knew within seconds what was wrong and began going to work. Within minutes the part we needed arrived. These guys were efficient, friendly, but more importantly honest. They ensured my car was safe to get back on the road and saved me a ton of time and money. The only issue is that this garage is not closer to my home so I could always use them for my service. Thanks for saving my butt on Friday. Keep up the great work!

The owner was nice. Cost $325 for a tow from an accident to the yard. I would recommend that you not keep the car there any longer then needed. It could get real expensive real quick, but they are most likely priced the same as the others.

Jack Smiths Towing is the best in Claymont, North Wilmington and the whole surrounding area. They have the cheapest lot fee than any other towing company. $50.00 a day if your car is towed and in their lot, compared to $75.00 a day which most other tow companies charge. They are a staple in Claymont, been around forever. If you didnt know the house by top of the hill apartments that has all the Christmas lights every year was started by Jack Smith who sadly has passed away, but the display is still there every year, now run by his Brother. They work with you instead of acting like they have you by the you know whats just because your vehicle is in their lot. They have a great crew of mechanics that are honest and do good work. Jack Smiths Towing beats em all, not even a question !!

Where do I begin? . My father was a mechanic, so growing up, I had experienced or known of places that made their living off of dishonesty. This place is nothing like that! I have never dealt with a Towing place that has such friendly and honest people! Their mechanics arent lacking either. Ever since I discovered them, Ive been taking my car to them. Theyre a great crew who have always treated fantastically! They ask me before fixing things, they dont nickel and dime you, and they get the job done quickly and efficiently. I wont take my car anywhere else. I know that Im in great hands when I come to Jacks, no matter what the issue is. I highly recommend them!

I have been a customer of jack smiths for over 12 years, my wife even longer. We have used a hand full of other repair shops and regretted it deeply. They normally fix the issue first try, once in a while an issue may turn into a multi visit which is not overly rare as sometimes its harder to diagnose issue that codes dont pop up for. Even then, I will tell people to at least try them. My cars are running and typically purr better then when bought when I have them serviced there. They dont needlessly tell me I need anything replaced. To the point they hate telling me when a high cost item goes. They will try to clean and repair existing components, before replacing them. A big win for anyone afraid of repair costs that shouldnt have happened. I stand by my mechanic, and the work they do.

Ive been taking my cars here for repairs for over 15 years. The prices are reasonable and theres no need to worry about being ripped off, if they say you need something then you actually do need it. You can have them call you with a price before any work is performed. Excellent!

I had car trouble on a Sunday afternoon and was pleased to find an auto repair shop within a half a mile of my house. I was able to get the car there and used the night drop off. They fixed the problems with no difficulty and at a very reasonable cost, and were extremely courteous and helpful. He even offered to help me with getting my car home, because I had driven another car there to pick up the keys. I would highly recommend Jack Smiths to anyone in the area.

The guys were super nice allowing us to take pictures of my car and get my stuff from the car without issues. Very impressed.

Went to have my tire checked . Ended up getting a quick oil change. Fair prices, quick and efficient service. They father and son who run the shop are very personable and helpful.

We broke down out of state with our daughter. Jacks promised to tow the car and fit in our repair within that day or the next. Our expectations were exceeded when the car was picked up within a couple hours and repaired within a few hours after that. The total cost including repair and tow was outstanding and much more reasonable than we expected. We had been a little concerned that we would be taken advantage of since we were traveling. Instead, we were treated with kindness and given prompt service so that we could be on our way. I would recommend that this be the first choice if you find yourself in need of a tow and repair in the area.

This place would not let me get any of my personal items out of my vehicle. They tried to charge me hundreds of dollars just to get my stuff back not including the charge to get my car back. Horrible customer service.
