I have never in my life had a worse experience with an autoshop. I had my car towed here after my car wouldnt start, trusting that as an AAA member this would be a trustworthy place to have my starter replaced. I am very familiar with cars, my Dad does most of the repairs on my car and I have family members who have worked in the auto industry for decades. I knew the repair that was needed and contacted a family member who works at an autoshop to get an estimate on the cost, which he quoted to be a maximum of $300. Imagine my surprise when I was told by AAA that I was being charged almost $900 to replace the starter on my ten year old Honda! I was boarding a flight at the time and had my mom call back to confirm that this was the actual quote, so that I could get the work done elsewhere. The mechanic told her that the work was already completed but that I could negotiate the cost of labor when I returned. After returning from my trip, I went into the shop prepared with quotes from other autoshops (the highest was an actual Honda dealership, who quoted me at about $550,) and prices of starters. I requested an itemized bill and the receipt for the starter which supposedly cost $342. I was told that I couldnt have a receipt because the starter was purchased from a vendor. I explained that I wasnt able to find a starter for my car for retail that was more than $150, and I could go down the street to AutoZone and buy a starter for $50 (I had it pulled up on my phone to show it was in stock). The manager legitimately rolled her eyes at me and laughed. I was never shown any form of proof of the cost of the starter, despite my numerous requests. On top of that, I was charged for four hours of labor. A mechanic would have to be incompetent to spend four hours replacing the starter on a Honda Accord...there is no possible way that someone spent half their work day on something as simple as a starter.I excused myself to get more quotes and to ask my uncle who works at a dealership for advice. After returning, the manager continued to gaslight me and pretended to call the Honda dealership who had minutes earlier quoted me at $550. She didnt put the call on speaker. At the same time, a different mechanic came over to review my bill and immediately noticed that I was charged twice for the diagnostic and they tacked on additional hours of labor. He also informed me that he didnt complete the work on my car until earlier that day, despite the fact that I was told it was completed four days earlier. AAA intentionally led me to believe I had no options at that point and couldnt take my car elsewhere to get the work done, knowing that the work was not completed. The manager tried to cover up the fact that I was charged extra for labor by saying it was a system error. She never apologized for intentionally charging me hundreds of dollars extra, or for actively gaslighting me when I had quotes and part prices on hand. I walked away paying $600, which was still hundreds more than the three autoshops that I got quotes from.I cannot stress enough to stay away from this place. As a young woman, I am extremely hesitant to ever try a new car shop as I have heard countless stories of places taking advantage of you in the hopes that you are clueless. I trusted AAA, as many single women do, to be trustworthy and reliable. This shop WILL take advantage of you. Ive never experienced such blatant manipulation and mistreatment the way I did from this manager. The honest mechanic who immediately noticed that I was overcharged for labor and charged twice for diagnostic was the sole redeeming quality of the entire shop. I strong encourage anyone reading this to take their business elsewhere.
I was a little disappointed in the amount of time I had to wait. I had an appointment at 2:00 and was told when I got to the store that it would be an hour and a half wait. I was also disappointed that they did not discuss with me any work that my car might need in the forseeable future. In previous service visits someone always took time to explain what they had done as well as recommend any additional services which might be needed. All in all, this service was not the best I have received from AAA.
Customer service you gone down hill in the last couple of years. Took 1.45 hours to get an inspection done. Tech signed off on inspection failing due to bad wipers at 1040am. Approach the desk at 11am and was told it failed. Why was I waiting for 20 mins? Techs and inside folks not communicating in a timely manner.
Feel lured in via what i thought was a discount of $10 off the regular price and yet the price was on the counter for everyone. Got me!55 minutes for a standard oil change?Too many competitors can do this in 20 minutes and simply dont have time to wait that long for an oil change.Wont be back.Far too many photos and check list things that i did not ask for.Paid the same price as anyone walking in vs the special $10 discount offered...
The diagnostic expense is expensive. $130 to diagnose suspected problem and no discount if you have the repair service performed that is recommended. I brought in 2 vehicles over a couple days to have problems checked and resolved. So far 1 vehicle seems to be worked on and resolved appropriately. The other vehicle I was able to self-diagnose with some researching and able to perform service on my own, which they did not diagnose.
Imagine your car has a blow out at 4am in the morning on your way to work and you find out that your very new car that you paid lots of money for has a air compressor but didnt come with a spare. No joke many new cars dont have a spare. AAA to the rescue. I was quickly towed by a AAA tower and shout out to Victoria Satterwhite the service writer who explained everything and kept me well informed all day long concerning my car. Very professional, pictures, texts and lots of communications about the status of your car. I cant say enough how Victoria put me at ease during a horrible day.
I have been coming to this AAA shop for years but the shop seems very sketchy now. I left thinking I had be lied to and cheated. I wont be taking my care back there for any service work. I am done with them.
They diagnosed the problem with my car & charged the battery but didnt have a tech that could repair it. I picked it up & replaced faulty part myself.
Great customer service and very professional.
They have always been polite and helpful. At this location they go the extra mile.
Employees always give professional care to my cars
Michael Dyson at the location across from Independence Mall went above and beyond when he noticed my urgent tire situation. Michael put on the donut promptly so I could get to work and he took the destroyed tire to have it when the new tire arrived and get mounted without me having to wait for long periods of time. I must say that as a woman I believe Michael had genuine care and would show the same professionalism to any woman who chooses this AAA location. Once again the wonderful review is for the AAA location across from Independence Mall on Oleander
Excellent and professional experience and service. I worked with Josh the store manager. They were quick and completed the job as quoted. Will use them again in the future and highly recommend.
Very accommodating staff.
World class AAA car car service by Michael Dyson and the wonderful staff who do a super job of maintaining our older car - a 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser. They do a comprehensive check of the vehicle every time we take it in and give an honest assessment of what is needed and when and look for the most cost effective alternatives in fixing any problems they identify. They stand behind their work and ensure we get the 10% AAA member discount in all work they do. Because of their dedicated work our older car runs like a charm and has no problem passing the NC vehicle inspection. Michael and the staff at Oleander are total professionals and give you consistent service with a smile each and every time. Highly recommend AAA Oleander for anyones car care needs. They always go the extra mile for you.
Horrible service. What should have taken 45 minutes took over 2 hours. Didnt reset dash alert. Tech left interior dirty.
I went in to have my car inspected. It did not pass but they did a great job explaining everything to me and told me what I needed to do to get it fixed. I went back 2 days later and it passed. They also did a great job explaining how long it was going to tke since they are doing a cleaning before hand.
The service was great.
Great workGreat people ask for crystal
Friendly & helpful staff. Kept me updated on repairs
Thoroughly looked over my vehicle and took the time to explain the repairs to me. They provided me with options in regards to repairs and also got me into the AAA warranty program so now my vehicle has awesome coverage in the event that something happens to it. Definitely going back! Make sure you ask them about their AAA Warranty Program when you go in.
I was extremely pleased, thank you!!
Seems concerned about keeping my car roadworthy.
Most other places that do the state inspection of our vehicles ALWAYS find something wrong that the customer needs to spend their money on in order to meet standards. This place did none of that. I was in and out, they were both on-the-ball and personable, without being obsequious. A perfect experience!
Very professional and friendly staff. They have an excellent computer service system. Very prompt and responsive. I will be going here from now on!
Comfortable waiting area
Made sure my car was travel ready. Definitely cared about my concerns and addressed them. My car definitely ran much better after it was serviced. Will always go back for service.
They take good care of you and your car!!
First day open after Hurricane Florence. I made a 0730 appointment, and was informed that many staff members were unable to report to work by opening time. Still after disclosing I made the appointment early to be to work on time at 9, the staff did their best to install tires and perform a 4-wheel alignment. I clocked in at 9 am. Mike and George were professional in their demeanor and provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend this location.
Helpful and pleasant when I made the appt. Knowledgeable and courteous when I arrived there. Was offered coffee and water from Michael when I checked in(who updated me all morning on my car from the amount it would be, to what was being done, to when it was ready). The manager shuttled me to and from work. This was an amazing experience.
Quick in and out for new battery.
The same night my car overheated and shut down I was able to call for immediate help for road side assistance although it was about an hour wait for towing the company came and help resolved the situation. Thank You Ruth! And a Thank You to Steve for towing my car to the shop! Thank you to whomever for fixing my water pump. I got to pick it up the same day the issue was fixed immediately. Thank you. I am forever Grateful and Thankful. 12/26-12/27
Car is fixed but they charge double for everything over there.
What a rip! My fiancé had her Honda Fit’s oil changed and engine air filter changed. It took 4 hours! They told her “oh we’ll discount the labor”. It was still over $100. She didn’t even get fully synthetic. I get my truck’s oil changed at Specialty Imports Repair and it’s less than $50 - my truck takes TWICE the oil and I get fully synthetic. Absurd.
They did a fantastic job replacing my radiator and so quick to
They are over priced for car maintenance, I suggest that you seek other estimates prior to spending more money for something that could cost hundreds of dollars at another worthy shop. I am shocked to know that triple A allows their brand to allow this franchise to charge exorbitant prices for services that are priced more competitively at other non AAA auto shops. BUYER BEWARE!
Honest, trustworthy, and competent .
Great service and attention to detail. Friendly shuttle driver. Service advisor Mike Dyson always remembers me, and communicates everything clearly.
Had an alternator go out while on vacation. Made us a priority great service
I made an appointment to have my car inspected and to have my tires looked at because two of them had been leaking, one of which pretty badly. I explained to the person that I made the appointment with that something was probably in the rapidly leaking tire and that it may need to be repaired. I arrived and the inside worker pulled up my appointment and said that they could not do my inspection because their inspection machine had been out of order for 3 weeks. The person who made the appointment probably should have mentioned that. The inside worker said they could look at my tires so he told me to pull around to bay 1. Bay 1 had a car in it already. The outside worker stood in a different bay and looked at me with no verbal or physical communication. Finally, I had to ask him where I should go. He told me to pull behind the car in bay one. He got out the air hose and filled up the two tires of concern and said I was good to go. I asked if he was going to look at the tires to see why they had been leaking and he replied that I needed an appointment for that. I told him that I had an appointment and he indicated that I did not. I went inside to talk to the inside worker. When I walked in the door, he said so you want us to look at the tires AND repair them? They were just going to send me on my way knowing that I had two leaking tires. They ended up not being able to repair the tires due to the location of the leaks (nails) which was not their fault. They also showed me a tablet with a computer generated image of my tires which showed three of them in red and one normal. I asked what that meant, and they could not tell me. I will say that the inside worker was friendly, but the whole place just seemed to not have it together at all. I took off work for the appointment but the whole morning was a waste of time. Long story short, I will not be going back there. I received a AAA membership for my birthday and looked forward to discounts on auto care, but discounts arent worth the hassle of poor service.
They were very friendly and professional. Explained all they were doing! Excellent!
Good people
Friendly and fast
I was very hesitant to use AAA as a Car Care Provider because in the past my parents have said they experienced some issues with wait times, and pricing. After my recent experience, I cross-checked ALL their quotes and everything was outstanding price-wise.My Jeep started service at 1:16 PMService Completed: 4:14 PM.I made an appointment for a front end Alignment and Oil Change. Unfortunately...I was having some issues with my starter, which prevented them from being able to pull the vehicle into the bay, they said with a little tap they were able to get it cranked! With the new DVI system AAA has implemented, the Car Care report was thorough and complete. Victoria Satterwhite who was my Service Writer was highly competent in her job, she did a great at informing me of everything I needed to know.I brought the Jeep in knowing it would have quite the amount of issues, its a 96 Jeep Cherokee, and poorly maintained engine wise. However even with every single issue added to the bill it only totaled to $2,111. To which I only spent $800 to get it to a great level of maintenance. This included my Oil change Best Package, air filter, Starter Assembly, Drive Belt, and four-wheel alignment plus the inspection fee for the electrical system.I am now a AAA Premier Member because I was highly impressed! Thanks to the whole team at AAA Oleander.Special thanks to:Victoria Satterwhite - Service WriterAndrew Dolbow - TechnicianAnd Michael Dyson for having a good conversation with me while I picked up my vehicle.
Couldnt be happier with my experience. Im new to town in from the Chicago area. I took my late 90s mustang in to get the suspension looked at after noticing a lot of play in my front driver rotor, I was pretty confident on what the issue was but took it in just to make sure (I was most likely just going to fix it myself). After they confirmed what I originally believed to be the problem and did a little more research, I decided to just have a mechanic do it. The price they quoted me was the best in town! They estimated 1.5 hours to get the part and get it installed, wound up only taking 45 minutes. Im glad they didnt try to up sale me on anything. They told me exactly what was wrong, took me inside the shop to show me, and even printed out the part to show me even better. Great place with great customer service, even gave me a good recommendation for a nearby body shop upon request. If I ever come across a job I cant do myself theyll be the first one I call.
Pushes extras whether or not needed.Apparently the aggressive marketing is a policy dictated from on high.Trustworthy vehicle servicing is the victim of this policy!!
The guys at AAA on Oleander always do quality work and will never sell you anything you dont need. Their honesty is refreshing and they stand behind their work.
Professional and very courteous
Yesterday was my second time using this shop. The staff is very friendly, ran on schedule and a they have a comfortable waiting area. William was very helpful and educated me on different electrical modes that my car had to offer. I will be returning for my next oil change.
I have been taking my car to AAA Car Care Center on Oleander for over a year now. They have been terrific and very helpful to me. They are friendly, courteous, thorough, and document all the issues with dependable information and affordable solutions. I will continue to go to them for service for as long as i own this car. Thanks!
On vacation developed a slow leak in one of our tires. We decided to get a new set because of the condition of the tires on our recently purchased used vehicle. We discovered during a stop on our way back to our beach house that one or two wheels had been damaged by the paw of the tire change. We were disappointed to find this on our own, but the manager provided his email address for pictures and a remedy was worked out with his regional manager by the end of the day. Two days later the regional sales manager showed up at our house drove our car back to Wilmington put on two new wheels and had the car back to us 3 hours later. Without costing us any more vacation time.
Good customer service. Knowledgeable service writers
Great service. Very nice people let me know what I needed for my vehicle.
The problem I presented was promptly addressed and repaired. I had to leave it overnight but was given a ride home and offered a pickup in the morning. Regular service was better than average and each step was explained. All personnel I encountered were the best. Thank you.
They have always taken good care of me and they would tell me honestly if I could wait to have the work done and simply fix the issue for free if it was minor enough. You can also drop of your car overnight and leave your key in the dropbox.
Recently moved to the Wilmington, NC area from NH and I depend on my vehicle for my work. THRILLED to have found this place! Ive needed quick fixes (without appointments) on two occasions now and both times they have absolutely delivered!! KUDOS to Matt for his professional and VERY FRIENDLY service as well.
They did what I asked them to do at a very reasonable price. Quality work well done and completed in a timely manner, (also, immaculate restroom)
I took my car in for several reasons: oil change, inspection, rotors, and AC stopped working. They were very helpful and very friendly. I was able to get my car in right away. I took it later afternoon hours and it was ready the next morning. They worked out an estimate that I agreed to and were actually able to save a few hundred once they started working. We discussed changing all brakes and rotors, which I agreed to, and once they cleaned off my back brakes they saw replacing them was unnecessary, so they did not. I felt they had my best interest at heart and were not just trying to make money. I will definitely continue to take my car here for all work needed.
Great service, if you want great service and kept informed on your cars progress ask for Michellle
Excellent customer service. Fast and reliable.
A technician at an oil change chain did not screw the radiator cap on our car sufficiently, which led to a cracked radiator which caused overheating. Wed driven to Wilmington from Raleigh and then had to have the radiator replaced. We were stuck in Wilmington to do so. AAA Car Care to the rescue! They sent a driver to pick us up, as we had the car towed to them. The radiator was ordered & installed within about 5 hours. The price was fair & the service was kind & friendly. The manager Mike was very professional & responsive. He even helped us to explain our case to the oil change company, who reimbursed us for the cost within a couple of weeks.
The parking lot is a bit difficult to navigate. It was not busy when I was there and it was still a challenge. Hate to be there when they have a lot going on.Everybody that work there was very nice and accommodating. I would suggest you get your oil changed elsewhere. They charge $75. Thats considerably more than the auto dealers and other places charge. If prices of no concern, they did do a nice job and they were very pleasant people.
Customer service is horrible. Went in for a scheduled oil change. Chris continued to take phone calls while I was standing there holding my baby. When I asked to be checked in, he took 2 more calls. Wouldnt accept the coupon that was sent in the mail to me...When I asked for Chriss name, the other man that was in there obnoxiously started laughing. I asked what was funny and he walked off and said my name is Will and spelled it with his last name ...still laughing. I had the AAA customer service rep on speaker phone, so she heard the entire conversation. When i left, the customer service lady on the phone apologized profusely. She too was taken aback by the rudeness. She and I both agree that a lot of single women sign up for AAA because they dont have anyone to help with automobile issues. After she submitted the complaint, Mike called back identifying himself as a manager. He was offended that when I submitted my conplaint I mentioned that in a previous visit, I stopped got help with my fuses and he obviously couldnt be bothered. While speaking with him about my experience, he kept huffing and puffing in the phone. Again, he couldnt be bothered...so I hung up. Do not waste your time. I called jiffy lube and set up an appointment and the man was so sweet to me. These men at AAA need a course in Sensitivity Training as well as Customer Service. They get an F in my book!
Great Service!!!! The Service Manager is very helpful! Hes a great asset to the company. I will definitely come back for all my services!
We have always received first class service for over 3 years now and all because ofMichael Dyson their service consultant. Michael has always gone out of his way to be sure our two vehicles have been serviced correctly and to our satisfaction. We highly recommend them!!!!Gordon & Dawn Dixon in Kure Beach,NC
Replaced my alternator on short notice, same day, after getting towed in by AAA. Priced 10% less than dealer. They did great job, were honest, quick and had very nice shuttle service.
MASSIVELY OVERPRICED. My boyfriends car was having problems so we used our AAA membership to tow it, but my regular mechanic was booked full so we decided to give this place a try since they offered a discount for members. It cost us over $100 just for a diagnostic! Since the car was already there and not really in any shape to move we decided to just go ahead with the work there, which was a huge mistake. The only thing that was causing overheating issues was a thermostat, the part and its housing by itself would cost about $65. After everything, they charged us $550 to install the new part, and would have charged us more if an error in calculating the labor time had not been caught. These people charge over $110 per hour in labor and have the audacity to try to upsell every bit of preventative maintenance possible. My regular guy in town could have done the work in a half hour for about $150. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. We will never give them our business again.
My in-laws car broke down while we were headed home from vacation. The guys at this location took good care of them and we were able to get home before dinner. AAA saves the day.
I do not recommend purchasing tires from this location. AAA sells warranties on their tires, which they do not honor should there be a manufacturers defect. Also, they perform illegal repairs i.e. sidewall repairs that could jeopardize the safety of your family. The manager, Michael Dyson, completely lacks moral integrity.
I would NOT recommend taking your car here under any circumstance. Ladies, BEWARE. AAA replaced the alternator in my car and my vehicle would not start the next day. I was told it was a faulty part. They then replaced it, again. A belt started screeching a week or so afterwards. I had someone else look at it and they told me that AAA put the belt on backwards. (Red Flag). I later told AAA about it and they said there was nothing they could do). I then took my car for an oil change... they left the wiper fluid empty. Ok, no biggie. I then needed to get an inspection; however, my engine light was on. AAA told me that it would cost an hourly diagnostic fee (they couldnt say how long it would take, but this was well over $100 an hour). They also said it would probably in the range of $1200 to fix (on top of that). I took it took to Porters Neck Auto and paid less than $400 out the door with a passed inspection.
Very good. Great customer service! Definitely a lifesaver
On December 3, 2015, took car here for oil change and complimentary car check-up. They suggested several repairs/parts. I bought a new AAA battery, getting credit for my previous AAA battery which was several months out of warranty. I told them I heard a loud noise I thought coming from the right side of the car. The check-up sheet they gave me showed the wheel bearing as good. I took the car to another shop for an estimate, they did a test drive immediately and found the wheel bearing to be in very bad shape, potentially causing severe injury to myself if it got worse. When I called AAA Carolinas to report AAAs negligence in finding a major issue with my car, the Regional Manager finally called me back, got details, I sent pictures of the wheel bearings and he said he would look into it and get back to me. Its been a month and he still has not contacted me. Ive been an AAA member since 2004 and moved here from Northern VA, where AAA had my back and had found and replaced a bad wheel bearing in 2013. Obviously, commitment to service quality and customer care doesnt apply in AAA Wilmington. Beware current and potential customers that AAA is not very thorough in their complimentary car check-ups
AAA Service Center on Oleander will trick you into thinking that its a nice establishment that does good quality work with courteous employees - please dont fall into the same trap I did.I went there one day just to get my oil changed and to fix a turn signal bulb (after having made an appointment a week in advance). Fast forward 4 hours (I literally waited for 4 hours in their waiting room, checking back in with them each hour), they finally finished and sent me on my way. I drove home and soon realized that the turn signal was STILL not working, after four hours of labor. I returned the next day to address this issue, and after making me wait for another hour and a half, they tell me its the socket thats busted, not the light bulb, and that theyll order me a new one. I return 2 days later for them to install this new socket, and after ANOTHER 2 hours of making me and my girlfriend wait, they tell me that they ordered the wrong part, and that theyll look around the shop to see if they had one that would work. Now I understand that people make mistakes and sometimes put in orders for the wrong parts, but if they thought they might have the right part lying around, why did they even order anything in the first place? After yet another long wait, they tell me that none of the sockets they have will work with my Ford, of course, and that all they could do at this point was refer me to the manufacturer. No Im sorry for wasting so much of your time, no courtesy or regret at all, just a cold this is all we can do at this point. Now you may think that that was bad enough, having wasted over 7 hours in the AAA waiting room over the course of 3 days. Well, it gets worse. Two days go by after this whole ordeal, and my check engine light goes on. First thing I do is check my oil - AND ITS EMPTY. And yes, they were supposed to have changed and replaced my oil just days before (which I paid them to do).I have sworn off this place, and implore everyone else to do the same. Their work is very poor quality, wastes an extraordinary amount of your time for even the smallest of tasks, and after its all said and done you cant even trust that theyll have actually done what youve paid them to do. If youre looking for a reliable and courteous mechanic that wont jerk you around, keep looking.
I went there for a power steering fluid issue, it took 3 days to get my car back and I paid over $500 for them to replace a hose. Do not recommend
Great Knowledge and Great Service and as a member the diagnostic was free.
Taking cars there for maintenance for 7 yrs. Aside from some longer than predicted waits there has never been any problems or attempts to sell me parts and services I dont need (I got that a lot at other places). Staff is knowledgeable and professional
Ive been going here for at least 4 years, mainly though not exclusively for oil changes and state inspections because of the discount. I am pretty surprised at the negative comments but I havent had the opportunity for any kind of major repair. I have a new car and an old car and they usually have recommendations for service on the old one. I have some knowledge [maybe they know that] and I have always found their recommendations to be justified even though I dont always follow their advice. No matter where I have gone for oil changes [about 45 years worth], I check the level and appearance of the oil as well as check for any leaks under the vehicle to make sure the plug is properly re-installed after the oil change. When they told me that the battery is borderline, I knew that after 5+ years thats likely correct. When they told me that before [not after] I take that long trip, I should get tires, I agreed that was a good call. They offered me quality tires at a good price and after doing my shopping and research, I ended up buying them at AAA because it was a good deal. In my experience, I have had nothing but good service, good advice, and fair pricing at this facility.
Went to get an oil change and they said it would be a 30 minute wait and I ended up waiting for for over 2 hours with horrible customer service. I attempted to go again for another oil change. But when I called I was put on hold for 20 minutes and then the lady picked up and didnt even say hello and was super rude. Youre better off going somewhere else.
They overcharge for a diagnostic $133.00. They wanted the highest price in town to replace a Fuel Pump $950 in addition to the diagnostic charge. This was WITH a AAA discount. AAA recommended this repair shop. Never Again.
My sons car broke down and needed to be towed by AAA. When asked where to tow it to, I had no idea and agreed to have the car towed to the AAA service Center on Oleander. I called the office to let them know the car was on the way, and noticed all the extremely poor reviews. I spoke with Michael who assured me that over the past year they had made a lot of changes to improve their service and reputation. He did the best he could to make me feel comfortable on the phone. I decided to give them a chance. The truck was repaired in a shorter time span than expected, the cost was very reasonable and they even applied a coupon for my oil change, not to mention they could not have been any nicer both on the phone and in person. I would recommend this company for repair work, but I would also keep an eye on reviews to ensure they are maintaining the high level of service that I received. But for today, good job Mike, Michael, and Matt!
Very nice location. 👍🏼
The reviews here are true!!!!! They charged $199 just to run diagnosis test to see whats wrong with my car! Unfortunately, I was told about this place by the Triple A towing guy, this is not the place i usually come. The Manager said the same thing as other reviewer said How am i going to pay my guys? The quotes are much higher than other place. GO TO somewhere else that has good ratings!
Prompt and professional
Great facility with a kind and knowledgeable staff. Just took my car there for the first time, but definitely not the last!
Went in to have 4 new tires mounted. Appointment was for 3pm 9/25/2017 got there 5-10 min early, car wasnt done until around 4:30. That doesnt bother me what does is the fact that took pictures of my rims before handing my keys over and there was no damage . When they where done there was a scratch on two of my rims. I tell them about it and that I have pictures as proof that the scratchs werent there prior to them changing them and they still have the nerve to tell me that they didnt do it and they were there before I brought the car in. The staff was friendly with but I dont appreciate being BSed by them for this.
Best service in town. Ask for Michael !
I have 5 vehicles that all get serviced here. They are always friendly and do a great job. Never try to oversell.
With the others who wrote that this place is bad. I took my 1995 Jeep in there for a regular oil change and tire rotation since its close to my office. They didnt bother to check what kind of engine was in my Jeep and put both the wrong kind and too much oil in it. When I got it home, I also realized that they had either lost or destroyed one of my original stock lug nuts in rotating the tires. They didnt bother to tell me about the lug nut, I guess that they hoped I wouldnt notice. I know it was them too as I had just washed the vehicle the day before and all 20 original lug nuts were there. When I confronted them about these things they acted like it was not a big deal and wanted to argue with me about the oil type, this was when I pointed out to them that they had the wrong engine listed for my vehicle. No apology or anything. I wont be going back.Edit: 9-22-10, I see that others are crowing about fake reviews... mine is not fake, I work right on Wrightsville Avenue and go by this place everyday.
Trust, a great value, and a client centric, friendly staff are the reasons I am a loyal client.
A great experience. ..Michael Dyson was quite helpful!
Daughter went there for an inspection and oil change and free tire rotation, she was told that her 6 month old battery was bad. They cleaned the terminals and changed some fluids on a 8 yearOld Toyota van. About $250 dollars later her car was inspected. All she needed was an oil change and state inspection, should of been less than $100.
Ive been here twice and had a great experience each time. Wanted to say thank you so much to the friendly staff and quick mechanics!
I was in AAA last week. Mike helped me and was very cooperative. I will go back again. Thank you and Mike. Naomi Causey
My daughter took her car in for an oil change and was told by the mechanic that two of the belts on the car had to be replaced. She refused the service and paid for the oil change. She told the person making the belt replacement recommendation that the belts had been changed in June of this year. I filed a complaint with AAA online and received a call from the shop manager. He told me that the mechanic swore they were cracked. I had my dauhter to take the car to another shop and there she had a mechanic inspect the belts in question. She was told they were fine, had no cracks and looked brand new. I would advise against doing business with this shop.
I have 3 vehicles that are a little old. All 90s module vehicles. I bought the premium package from here in April. And used AAA a 4 times for a tow. My gf hit a curb in on of my vehicles and tore the front end up. So I called to have a tow only to find out that I had been towed my limit. I would have no problem with this if I was informed when buying the $130+ member ship .yall need to better in from your customers
These guys helped me out when my regular macahnic left me high and dry....they now have my business!!!
Service was quick and reliable.
I rarely publicly give negative feedback about a business, but I was pretty disappointed with my latest AAA experience. Earlier today I brought my car in because my engine was running hot and I knew coolant was leaking. Its the day before Thanksgiving and many auto shops were super busy, so I just wanted to get it done. It was 29.99 (member price) for them to run a pressure test to see where the leak was. After running the test, they told me my thermostat housing needed to be replaced and that they would flush my system as well. They said theyd already started and it was going to cost over $450. I thought I had misheard. I immediately told them to hold off working on my car and made a few others calls. Two places I called would do the whole job for 150, and another said it would only be 100 plus labor. I paid for the pressure test they had already performed. I then brought my car elsewhere, and left a couple hours later having only spent $149 to have the same repair done, minus the system flush. The shuttle service they provide for members is certainly a plus, but not worth the extra money you end up paying for the repairs. A price discrepancy of over $200 is pretty hard to ignore. I will not be going here in the future.
Air conditioning amazing!?
