Great friendly and fast service with reasonable prices

Called at 1pm...arrived at 130pm..left at 230pm. On a Friday at that. Brought my Dodge 4.7 for some better flows and left sounding great. The man hadnt even ate lunch yet to work on my truck. Great people. Will definately return for more work

I have never been anything but pleased with the service that I have received from Cape fear muffler. Their work is exceptional. They do not take appointments so you do need to make arrangements for that however the young ladies that work at the front are professional, The work done was exceptional as well Accommodating, and pleasant to work with. My experience has never been anything but fantastic.

There is exhaust work and theres what these guys do and its art if you can dream it they can do it. No one touches my vehicles other then these guys

We called on Thursday to find out how long they would need to fix our problem with our car. They said only an hour so Friday we had our car towed there. The reception said they would call us with an estimate before working on the car and we received no call. Our car was there for 5 hours and they didn’t even touch the car. When we called to check on progress reception was very short and unprofessional when asked what was taking so long. We took our business somewhere else that won’t be rude.

Went to Cape Fear Muffler to get a new duel exhaust system installed on my truck due to the existing one rusting out. Spoke with one of the guys in the shop and he put it on the lift and looked at it. He gave me a price a price for replacing the exhaust system and stainless steel tips. I waited close to four hours for them to complete the job. Due to it pouring down rain I waited till I got home where it stopped raining to look at the exhaust system and found they had only replaced half the system where the holes were and left the other half that wasn’t rusted through.

Fast, Fair Priced, friendly Highly recommend. Installed two mufflers fabricated part of the exhaust for both in 1 hour and 10 minutes. Will be back for future exhaust needs.

Came here last minute and they were able to get me in quickly. Could not be happier with the turnout and the price came out under what I was quoted. Only complaint I have is the smell of cigarette smoke in my car after I got it back. Other than that great work!

Rather than up-sell or recommend excessive repairs, they recommended what was most practical, which was also considerably less costly. Took my 1986 Isuzu Trooper II into Cape Fear Muffler today, Talked to Jeff, he replaced just about the entire exhaust system and did a great job. It looks like a factory original equipment now. The price was very reasonable, and Im very pleased with his work. I went to another muffler shop in town prior to going to Cape Fear Muffler, and their estimate for the same work was almost three times as much. Go with Jeff!

I went to the muffler place and was quoted for 350, Midas was 700. Went to cape fear muffler and left with car fixed for 180!!! 😋 I didnt even need to get all the things I was told. The owner Jeff was very patient and explained all my options. The pretty lady in the shop was very accommodating and even offered me a ride if I needed. Great place for all my car needs. This shop inserted sections of pipe for the least expensive option to solve the problem. They have a pipe bender which lets them avoid having to order whole parts, which are usually much more expensive. The fix was quick and looks of high quality.I would have had to pay over two grand at another shop to replace the whole system. Not here! They made my whole day-my whole week!

I have had my exhaust worked on 4 times.. This would be the fifth time.. They did an awesome job!! Flex pipe is on.. Car sounds and runs great and it was cheaper then the last idiots that did a terrible job.. I highly recommend this place!!

I had an amazing experience at cape fear. They are great honest people. I got dual exhaust ran on my 2011 Silverado and from checking around all over my area this is by far the least expensive shop to go too out of Wilmington and even the Jacksonville area. Thanks guys.

I needed a new muffler for my honda civic. the guy took the old one off, got a new one, then welded it on in a matter of 25 minutes. Super easy and only cost me 150 $. Great service, and would recommend!

No place better in wilmington for all custom exhaust work! Great price on superb quality work. Awesome people, up front honest prices! Had an issue with my exhaust after my truck got lifted and they solved my problem and put on a custom exhaust for me to make my truck sound as good as it looks. Wouldnt recommend going anywhere else in wilmington to get exhaust work done. Top notch craftsmanship at unbeatable price!!!

I drove my Jeep Wrangler down to Wilmington from NJ. En route, my exhaust pipe hangers broke. A local buddy told me about Cape Fear Muffler so I went and they welded new hangers on quick and for a fair price. Glad they didnt try to take advantage of an out-of-towner in a difficult situation. Definitely recommend this place!

The quality of their work is fantastic! They installed new exhaust pipe, a new flowmaster muffler and new tail pipe at a very fair price and it only took them about 30 minutes. Definitely recommend them.

Great people to work on your car

I brought a girls car here for some catilitic converters front on the header and one after the sensor altogether it cost my buddys girl $1100 to get a car back when she picked up her car her husband was told it smokes a little but truth be told it pumps oil into every cylinder 10miles will pump out 3.7quarts out the tailpipe of full synthetic it hole life, smoke so thick you cant see five feet into it all that said they offered kno option and blamed the lady for being disingenuous #towguy#

Lots of experience and owner is very honest. Almost to a fault. I dont see how he can make any money cause I think he still prices as if were living in the eighties. They can work on about any car and if its not something he can do in timely manner or something they are not set up for, he knows everyone around and can refer you to the right place who specializes on that car and most importantly, they will treat you as If it was Jeff himself. Hes the owner. Because they know they are going to need him soon. Besides, its one of the few places in town that always charges exactly what was quoted. Never do anything without infor ming you.

Stopped here to get my muffler and converter replaced. The service was great, the people were nice, it was cheap and they had my car fixed in an hour.

Quality work at a good price

All I needed was to have the exhaust welded. They told me it would be about 50 dollars. After they started it went up to $150. I said ok that is how it goes sometime unforseen difficulties. But then I heard them with another customer over the phone doing the same thing. They told a guy it would be about $179 for his repairs the day before. Then they told him after the work was half way done that the price was going to be $320. So if u do go there see if your price doubles before they get done.
