Shannon was very helpful ! Unfortunately there were no apartments available to tour but I received all the information I needed and went on a tour of the property. Shannon and the two other ladies in the office were so kind and helpful ! It is a very comfortable setting and I hope to move there in the near future.

Happy with our stay at Sand Ridge! Close to the water and down town! Marcy was more than helpful and courteous to our needs during our stay and even up to departure. If you are going to have anyone assist you with your move in process, she’d be the one.

I absolutely love where I live! From my screened in porch outback where I can look over the lake in the morning and see the sunrise w/ such a beautiful view to the entire layout, this place is worth the money I promise you won’t be upset😍

I have lived here since July of 2020 and I love it!I have never had an issue with anything in the apartment. The lawn maintenance is always on point. Neighborhood is safe! If you’re thinking about getting an apartment here I would definitely recommend it, the location is perfect for night light or beach life, the price point is affordable, and the apartments are adorable

UPDATE: I moved here from another state not knowing much about Wilmington. I am so happy with the location of the apartments. It has been overall a peaceful area to live. If I have had problems, they have been tended to appropriately. I have recommended them to others I know seeking new residence.This was a five star review until they decided to continually say they are fixing problems- some present for four months- some potentially dangerous-and they actually have not fixed some of them.I cannot wait for my lease to end.

Mold in the apartments, office hardly answers the phone, maintenance guys are nice but it takes forever to get something fixed in your apartment. Office staff can be less than helpful. Also the pools been broken for 2 years but they still list it as an amenity you have to pay for. In addition to that the office never takes complaints serious, I’ve seen two people OD in the parking lot and there’s a ton of drug traffic.

I have just moved here from Phoenix Az and the transition was super easy and painless with the help of your amazing manager Marcy Vicari . I feel that it is is important to have someone so friendly and knowledgable to greet your guests and she made me feel right at home!! She was very kind and helpful with the online signing and helping me navigate through the tenant portal. Im excited to be a member of your community !! I Love the beautiful trees here and walking around very clean and well kept grounds .

I have lived at Sand Ridge for 2 months and I ABSOLUTELY love it! Great staff that are friendly and welcoming. The actual apartment is gorgeous. I love my fire place and screened in patio.

I am a current resident and previous employee at Sand Ridge Apartments. I chose to move to this property for multiple reasons: the grounds are lovely, full of birds and squirrels; I can get a quick workout in right here on property, and I look forward to sunning on the pool deck once it reopens for the season; the office staff is always responsive to my questions and concerns; and maintenance stayed the course with any issues even during the pandemic. I do love where I live!

Hello All Sand Ridge residents,staff,owners. I moved here mid July.... love it! The staff go out of their way to help u. The landscaping is beautiful & always kept up. Most residents wave or says ‘hello’. We have awesome sized porches, pool, tennis courts, gym .... we’re located minutes to downtown and Greenfield park & lake, great fishing! Picture is the biggest Large Mouth Bass I’ve ever caught, great fun! The staff even puts on events for us! We just had a Christmas ornament exchange, great choices everyone made, tons of food from the Staff themselves!!!! It was fun. If u didn’t make this one I highly recommend going to the events, plus u get to meet ur neighbors. It’s my HOME! Thanks!

Unfortunately, a number of the reviews seen here and among platforms that allow reviews are completed by all of the dissatisfied people. The silent majority that actually enjoy the service never end up reviewing.In addition, in my experience, those who take the time to write such dramatically negative reviews exaggerate a mishap far out of proportion.But anyways, allow me to speak for the many who are here that ENJOY living here but have not taken the time to review. For the price you pay, you cannot beat the central location, apartment space, and staff. Seriously the staff is so kind and professional. They will work with you as much as they are able in any situation you encounter. I have lived here at Sand Ridge Apartments for the past several years now. The location is ideal and the staff are professional, courteous and friendly: Shylene (mgr.), Katelynn (asst. mgr), Lisa (leasing). Ive lived at the other more expensive luxury apartments in town and Sand Ridge beats them all. They have all the amenities that I truly need without all the fluff: ActiveBuilding (online community for chats, contests, maintenance requests, and rental payments), plenty of community events, lots of open parking for residents and visitors, pool, clubhouse, tennis court, 24 hour workout room (basic equipment), valet trash, fireplace in unit, W/D connections, FREE cookies every Friday, location, location, and location.

Sand Ridge apartments is a wonderful place to live. Office and maintenance crew are polite and processional. The grounds are well kept and clean. I love the quietness and easy access to all shopping, restaurants and highways. I recommend this place to all that are looking for a great home.J

Becoming a resident here at Sand Ridge was the best decision my husband and I could have made for our little family. In comparison to other places we have lived, this is the first complex that felt like home! The unit we occupy is architecturally beautiful, especially the living room vaulted ceiling and bonus loft space we use for the kiddos play room. The balcony is extremely roomy and the closet/storage space is just what weve been looking for. The neighbors are nice, the community is kind, and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure our time here is a positive experience.

I am so very happy here I love the apartment, it has everything I wanted and needed, a pantry, washer dryer, a balcony, walk in closets and more. The women who work in the office are super nice and down-to-earth, helpful and informative. Even the maintenance people who take care of the grounds in the apartments are really nice Im just so happy here!

The staff is amazing and treats everyone like family! My company cleaned the exterior of the apartments and we saw all of the staff interacting with the residents and everyone seemed very happy! The complex is very convenient to everything and with the added bonus of lots of trees it creates a very private setting!

I love living here because it’s a pretty complex and the staff is great about fixing things when they break. The office staff is easy to get in touch with and they listen. I love having a screened in porch in an area that is central to a lot of businesses and is surprisingly quiet at night. Great place to live!

As a new resident I would say that this is one out of a few apartment complexes that I would never forget. The management team is very concerning of every issue you may have. Did not inform me when my home was damaged during hurricane florence. Waited until the end of the month to deem it unlivable so they didnt have to give me my money back.

We have been living here for 12 years and really enjoy it. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood in an outstanding location, close to everything.We can be on the beach at Carolina Beach in around 20 minutes. The office and management staff are very pleasant and responsive. The maintenance staff always responds very quickly to solve any problem. The landscaping is done weekly and always looks neat and well kept at all times.The apartment units are spacious and well designed to give the maximum usage of the interior footage. Great place to live!

The staff and the environment is wonderful love living here .... today is. 8/21/19 and I have been here for about 3 yrs now nothing has changed the staff are super friendly and responsive they move quickly here with any issues.. I must say over the years its nothing but consistency I love living here and I encourage other people to. given them a try

My experience has been excellent all the way through! From contacting and staying in touch with the office for months before move in, to moving in, to any maintenance needs/office questions I have. Someone is always available and quick to respond. Everyone Ive met from staff to neighbors has been so friendly. Quiet area. Convenient to everything. Great layout in the apartments (lots of options). And the screened in porches are HUGE! So happy I found this gem!

Seemed like a great place at first. Staff was always friendly. When it was time to move out, I had a subleaser lined up. They messed it up by changing the rent amount drastically. Did not manage to fill my unit for the rest of my lease....which I have no proof of because I moved out of town. Billed me for the rest of the lease...would not let me pay to end the contract... and now years later, this is still messing with my credit history. Shame on this company!

Look for somewhere else! There are two section 8 housing area, a half-way hose, and a read center within site and walking distance from sandridge apts. Lot of theft in area, including stealing off of patios and breaking in of vehicles. There are better places within the area. Thank you!

Here at Kenny Fowler Heating & Air we have had the delight of working with the team at Sand Ridge! They are always very helpful and cooperative. The manager Shylene does an excellent job at following up and making sure that everything runs smoothly. And David the head of maintenance is always very thorough and flexible when working with our team! They do an awesome job!!!

I have lived at the Sand Ridge Apartments for four years now. I really enjoy living here. The staff has always been very helpful with any concerns that I have had. Every time Ive had an maintenance issue the staff and the maintenance people has always been prompt with any issues or concerns. The staff is always having some type of activities for the tenants to participate in and the gatherings.

I really wish I could give this place a higher rating. When I first moved in, I was overall pretty happy with the place. It was quiet and I never had any issues. However, the last few months I had some issues with roaches, that the office agreed to spray for; however, after complaining for over 2 months and the office staff “checking in” with the pest control guy I was told there was “nothing more that could be done.” They weren’t even going to spray after I was told to empty out my cabinets so they could do “something different”, the following week. I was told I was welcome to go out and buy my own treatment. So for the last month of living there, I wasn’t even able to cook in my kitchen, as the roaches would be on my food. The follow up from staff is terrible and so sporadic, if you want anything done you have to follow up with them multiple times. It was to the point of having to leave work early to go down and talk to someone in person because they wouldn’t email or call you back. If you decide to go in on a Saturday, you would have staff that only worked part time and reported they didn’t know anything, which can be understandable but still frustrating nonetheless.

My experience living her for the last 14 months has been the worst Ive ever had to deal with renting an apartment. Theres was huge problems since day one. After living her for a few days i let the office know of an aggressive cat and there response was we will take care of it. After less than 1 week loving here my dog and i got attacked by this cat and the office manager never even knew of my original complaint. The resident brought the cat back months later and i had to reach out to the office multiple time to make sure the animal was no longer there. This cat got aggressive with other residents as well. Every time Ive had maintenance come to fix something it will take weeks and at least 3-4 visits to fix it. Issue with my toilet took at least 3 visits and weeks to resolve. My alarm was broke and that took 4 visits and almost a month to fix. When they had to do repairs for the hurricane that took over a month to resolve with multiple people in and out my apartment almost on a daily basis. Most recently my ac stopped working for the third time in less than 2 months in the summer. Ive been without ac for at least 10 days and the office will do nothing to compensate me. Ive asked for a number to contact corporate and the office wont give me anyones number. Ive been waiting days to speak with someone from corporate they still havent called me and my ac still isnt fixed. When i went to give my 60 day notice they made the process very confusing. They wanted me to wait another 2 weeks to give my 60 day notice so i would have to stay here longer than i needed to. Not until i emailed someone else the next day were they able to tell me i can give 60 days and i wouldnt need to come back in 2 weeks to give the 60 day notice. Overall i have a terrible experience living here. Was told I would get a call from a manager monday and its the end of the day Thursday and still no call. If you have any issues here be prepared to have to follow up with them multiple times and be patient because it takes forever to get a resolution if you get one at all.

Best apartments I have lived in. Great leasing staff always wiling to help in anyway they can. Maintenance, Ive called 3 times and never waited over an hour. Other places I have waited days! They really do a great job on keeping up the grounds! I like the fact that they pick up the garbage at your door Sunday - Thursday evening so I dont even have to go to the dumpster. Its also very quiet and nice neighbors. I am in my 4th month of living here and enjoy it very much.

I have lived here for 17 years. The current management team and maintenance staff are just terrific. They are very responsive to the needs of residents and the community. It is in a great location. The complex is 10 minute drive to downtown and 15 to 20 minutes drive to Wrightsville Beach. Independence Mall is a 10 minute drive. A new movie complex has opened and it is within a 5 minute drive. The site will become home for various shops including a French Bakery.

Thirty years ago, a heavy set blonde woman at Sand Ridge leasing office took my wifes application for an apartment and a $99 deposit by personal check to hold an apartment. The leasing agent cashed the check immediately and kept the money. My wife had to back out less than 24 hours later (no lease was ever signed, no apartment chosen, wife was looking for a roommate). The agent ghosted my wife, and ignored her calls and requests for a refund. So when your complex name came up my wife recalled her 30-year negative impression that Sand Ridge treated her unfairly and tricked her out of a lot of money when she was 21 and working 2 office jobs at 70 hours a week, 7 days a week, making $3.50 an hour. Shame on you folks. Hope you treat people better these days.

We had to move out due to highly dangerous toxic mold. Ive been sick for a year a half. We moved out in June and Im still suffering from mold toxicity. We were able to get out of our lease but I have no idea if they ever fixed the issue or only rented out the apartment again. We had to throw away our couches, beds, chairs, etc. Its unfortunate because we lived for there almost 8 years (who knows how long we were exposed to toxic mold). I want people to be informed or if they are experiencing illness to talk to a specialist immediately.

I Cannot Take It Anymore! My Moms & I Havent Even Been Here For A Year Yet & Together Has Complained More Than 5 Times About The Noise Coming From Upstairs Which Nothing Seems To Have Been Done About! All We Do Is Work And Sleep... Ive Never Been In A Situation Of Not Being Able To Rest In My Own Apartment.

I have lived at the Sand Ridge Aparments for the past five years, this place is truly home sweet home. Its centeraly located and is both close to my work and school.

I move in my apartment December 3rd when I came to pick up my keys the apartment was not finish still had a cleaning crew inside cleaning it. The leasing memeber stated to me that she figure I was coming later on that day which I been sign my lease almost two months ago before the move in date. The apartment had been empty for a month as she stated to me.I put in Maintenance request a month ago to have service done to the apartment no maintenance staff came out and completed the issue and today is January 5th the maintenance man stated to me they will get to it when they get to it and walk out the door!!!!!!! For the price of rent you would at least expect Sand Ridge apartments staff to keep the apartments up.

I was relocating to the Wilmington area in 2008. I found Sandridge Apts online. Viewed the pictures they had and fell in love. Did the whole renting process online, on the phone and via FedEx. Everyone was very helpful, courteous, pleasant.In the 4 years Ive been at Sandridge, Phase 2 area, I could not say enough great things about it. Although management has changed hands a few times in the 4 years, I have had no problems at all. The property is kept up remarkably well, landscaping is done every week. Plenty of parking in Phase 2 area.Any repair issues is just a phone call away. The maintenance guys, David, Storm and Tom are wonderful and knowledgeable. The area is quiet, no rowdy neighbors. Everyone takes pride in where they live.I am moving this month and the reason is not the apartment. I had planned on staying here at Sandridge for quite awhile, but other things came up.If I wasnt moving, I would be staying at Sandridge Apartments.

I moved in sand ridge apartments n 4 months later I was forced to move the pipes busted over my bedroom n threw the lights and damaged my bed and a couple more things I went next door to the maintnece guy and he told me to call the office he was no help then it took them more than 2 weeks to solve the problem and once they did the pipes busted again when my 2 year old n wife was sleeping on the second bed we bought had holes in the ceiling and when we finally left they covered the holes this place is horrible wouldnt recommend it to anyone
