After making a VERY STUPID mistake by going to another salon here in Wichita for a full set of nails... I wanted them OFF !!! (They were awful) I called VIP and they made my appointment the very same morning I had called - no problem - I was greeted by Q and she took care of me right away. Loved her personality - very gentle and made me feel like I had been coming in forever. I felt so at ease... She did an excellent job on my nails and visited with me. I REALLY enjoyed my first time and made another appointment to return next month. Very reasonable price and service was beyond excellent. THANKS Q !!! You are the best....

***Please read this review before using this company! I am leaving this review to let people know how you will be treated using VIP nail salon. I had been a customer at VIP nail salon for about four years. I have taken my girlfriend and our children there multiple times.This past year, on December 10, my five-year-old daughter and I arrived for our 6:15pm appointment. When we got there, the store was locked, with all the lights off, but with the open sign still on. We stood outside for a few minutes thinking that somebody was maybe using the restroom, and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. After a few more minutes, I called the store and got no response. I took a picture of this and we left. A few days later when I had the time, I gave them a call to see if they would do anything about this unprofessional experience my daughter and I had. And to be honest, it was more about my daughter being let down than anything.When I called, I was basically told that I was lying, that their store is always open on Thursdays at 6pm, and that they didn’t remember whether or not we had an appointment. I was also told nothing would be done. I politely said goodbye and came to post this review.When paying good money for services, you should at the very least be given a chance to prove what you are claiming happened, especially from a long time customer. I’d advise seeking out nail services elsewhere.

HORRIBLE experience. I went here really excited because it had great reviews but was quickly let down shortly after I arrived. Not only did I have to wait about 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, but they had TERRIBLE customer service and a child working the register who looked to be about 10yrs.When they began doing my nails, I noticed that the files and drills they were using on me were DIRTY and clearly looked like they had been used many times before. The man doing my nails (who I believe to be the owner/manager) was cutting my fingers with the files and when I would tell him, I was ignored for it to continue happening.Once he was done painting my nails and sent me to the dryer, there were nail clippings all over the area where you put your hands in. Pictures will be attached. While sitting there, I also happened to notice that their hand lotion was 3 years expired and when I brought these things to their attention, I was told nobody else has had a problem with it.I went home in tears to pour peroxide on my fingers because I was terrified of getting some sort of infection in one of the various cuts that they caused.VIP Nails is extremely UNSANITARY and needs an inspection! Despite all of this, they still made me pay full price, denied loudly that there were any cuts my on my fingers, and disregarded my complaints.

I thought they did an incredible job. Very thorough, polite, and efficient. The problem was the tools they used and even the towel was obviously unclean. I ended up with a toe infection on both my big toes in the same spot. I would recommend coming here, but make sure you have and watch them wash the tools, to machine they soak your feet in, and pull out a fresh towel...

Was excited to try this new place! As soon as I got there they were very unprofessional the guy that works there is super hard on the nails sliced the side of my finger, overall it’s a completely horrible place I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! I will not be going back there.

I love every experience at VIP! They are all so sweet and do such an amazing job. All of my services have been completed to the fullest and then some! You will feel welcome and relaxed at all times!

Hit eyebrows done. Hey made them straight, one was longer than the other and developed a rash above and below my brows which has never happened any where else

Everyone was super nice, the place was clean and organized. The whole vibe was relaxing and my acrylic set turned out amazing! I wanted a soft natural French tip ombré kinda look, showed a picture of the style I wanted and they’re nearly identical! I’ll definitely be going back for a fill :)

Tommy does an absolutely amazing job with acrylics. They are the only place i can go to for acrylics and have them look amazing and last. He doesn’t talk too much, and it’s honestly kind of nice. i’m usually very awkward. The ladies there are also very very nice. The price for a full set is a reasonable $28. They can get really busy though.

Just went and they told me “not today come back later” even though they close at 7... wasn’t greeted and last time I came my nails looked soo good but the man was rough with my hands... such a shame all that talent is wasted because of poor customer service! I enjoy VIP nails, Tommy does a great job. He doesnt talk much which is wonderful! Trim does the best pedicures and some nice designs.Going to pamper yourself should be a relaxing experience, I wish the customers kept silent as well, I do not want to spend my pampering time hearing about your day.

This place is amazing !!!! I called to schedule 5 of us for 1pm on a Friday and they were able to accommodate us. They are exceptionally clean and They were on time and the whole staff was very nice and did an excellent job.

I’m not sure the point of having an appointment at VIP nails. After waiting 10 minutes, I asked for an ETA. I was told 10 minutes. At 20, I asked again. The owner pointed at a client and said ‘she’s almost done.’ At 40 minutes, the technician was just beginning the woman’s hand maaage.It appears VIP books over appointments with walk-ins which means they don’t value other people’s time. I guess VIP stands for Very Inconsiderate People

Horrible!They have very old bottles of gel that need to be shaken repeatedly and in crazy colors. Green, black, white, hot pink. Were not all teenagers here.The worst part was having it buckle up and begin to peel after 48 hours. Gel should last for 3 weeks.Never going back, not even for a refund.

One of the worst pedicures Ive ever gotten. They put dark green dots on my friends hot pink toe nails! The lotion they put on our legs made them super oily, and we had to wipe them off with napkins. Also, we had to wait about an hour to an hour and a half. Overall Im not impressed at all.

Ive gone here a few times. I feel like you should give a place a couple chances before you judge. But Im done! Every single time its horrible. They are rude. The place is filthy. The staff hate the manger and tell every customer that comes in about it. I have had 4 different nail techs do my nails and every single one of them did a horrible sloppy job. And most of them are very rude to you as well. I always have to wait for over a half hour to have someone do my nails. Even though most of the time there are more staff available they just sit and play on the phone until the manager makes them get back to work. I have been going to nail salons for over twelve years and i have NEVER been so displeased. The only reason i have gone back more than once is because they are one of the very few salons that are open on Sunday.
