I had a great experience, all three people who helped with changing my oil were so nice and informative. They recommended a few services that were just not in the budget this month and they were kind when I said no thanks this time. The oil change was quick and I appreciated them checking all of my levels and adding air to my tires!

I dont normally leave reviews; but I was impressed and wanted to comment. I live in NOLA, but was in BR for an appointment and decided to get my truck washed before heading back. Because of the construction I didnt know if they were open - but I was waved in and greeted with smiles and positivity from employees. They did a fantastic job cleaning inside and out - but what I really want to point out is - I enjoyed watching them work. They look like they enjoy their job which made me feel good about them being in/around my truck. I dont know when Ill be back to BR, but Ill make it a point to go back to THIS location because of the quality job and service - but I also want to see what it looks like when the construction is done. (you should expand to NOLA ;)

I visited the Essen location this past Saturday, they are under construction at the moment and I was actually quite confused about what to do. I haven’t been there in years! Michael helped direct me throughout my entire experience he was super helpful. I had gotten the inside of my car cleaned too and the team was so friendly and professional, they got me in and out of there in great time and my car hasn’t looked this good in a while! I will definitely be returning!

I visit all of the Benny’s locations often. I am very into keeping all of my vehicles clean. The manage at the Essan location (Chris Hodgeson ) is a true gem! He is very detailed and knowledgeable! He recognized me from coming there so much and finally convinced me to get the memebership and boy am I glad I have it! Chris is always working very hard when I come through Benny’s and is always very nice! He greets and waives and recommends additional things which I’m sure is a plus for this location! There have been times when I have driven by late and seen just him working and cleaning the property to ensure that it’s the best it can be! Chris H. is an asset to your company and I like to give credit where credit is due. I previous came through in another vehicle that I own that does not have a membership and paid for a detail. Chris singlehandedly got my old truck looking showroom ready! Chris H. Is valuable and your business is fantastic! Keep it up because what you guys are doing is working!!

They wont do your jeep grand cherokee or cherokee! lol but they did mine. keep in mind their website says they will not wash your jeep grand cherokee 2012 or less. they washed mine. did a horrible job. but dont go if you have one that doesnt look good they will turn you around and send you out the door. says so on their website. so jeep owners use geauxclean they have a much much better wash.

This is my favorite location. They get you in and out very quickly.

Brad changed the cabin filter in my company truck. When he pulled it out about 30 acorns fell into the blower for the ac system. Instead of just putting the new filter in he took the time to remove all of them. I appreciate his professional ethics and his exceptional attitude, because the truck was not cooperating with him. His patience paid off and my truck got complete. Just wanted to say thanks dawg!!! This is for the Perkins road Benny’s.

Every single employee is courteous and polite! They treated me with the upmost respect and went the extra mile to tell me directions to the Bennys where I could get a break tag. They did an awesome job with the interior - my leather was not greasy with leaning products and the smell not overpowering. Definitely my go to Benny’s!

Definitely ask for Chris or Ben! Both are super nice and will take care of everything. I usually get my oil changed at Benny’s and they do a fantastic job, but today I went to get a car wash and detail. There’s a tenant that helps you select the car wash you want and basically does everything for you up until payment. Then you go through the wash and it’s very thorough.Once the wash is done, the detailing begins. After you pull up, they vacuum and take the mats out to clean them thoroughly. Then they vacuum the crevices in the interior. I didn’t see anything left. Once that’s done, they clean the interior windows, windshield, and rear windshield on the inside. Then inspect it for missed spots to make sure everything is clean.When the inside is finished they make sure the outside gets waxed, rear view mirrors are cleaned, and detail the tire rims. After I got my car back it smelled exactly how it did when I bought it and there was no residue on the interior windows.

Jay and Joshua at Benny’s on Essen are top notch employees. Personable and intelligent. Couldn’t have asked for better service. We will be back. Thanks again, guys!

BRADLEY- I visited Essen’s location for an oil change. It was my first time getting my oil changed there, so I was unfamiliar with their processes. Bradley and other workers made me feel so comfortable and at ease. Bradley engaged me in conversation. He taught me some well-needed information about my vehicle. He went over and beyond what was expected of his job description. I was on a call the entire time, and they were even impressed by Bradley’s customer service (from what they could hear). I’m not a resident of Baton Rouge, but I would not mind traveling there to receive other services for my vehicle. Thanks, Bradley. You’re great!

Came in for an oil change and was thoroughly satisfied with the assistance and customer service! Even came back and they topped off all my fluids. Bradley is excellent! He made the process run seamlessly and answered all my questions. Definitely returning for next service.

Bennys is very inconsistent on quality. I suppose since there are very few places to get these services in Baton Rouge, then mediocre works for them. It is frustrating they rely on the customer to check the quality i.e. wipe the entire dash, or make sure all the insects are off the vehicle before giving it back to the customer would really be appreciated.

They are AWESOME! I went to get an oil change and they were nice and professional. I appreciated all of the explanations they gave me about the different parts of my car they would potentially need work. They helped me find an air pocket in my tire. Without going to them I would have blew my tire out! Thanks Bradley, Cole, and the other team members!

The service from management is TRASH! Their machine jammed while I was in the Carwash causing the machine to force the cars into one another like bumper cars. They finally turned off the machine, messed up my car and have yet to respond to me!

The service was excellent and on point. They kept me entertained and I enjoyed my wait. How many times have you said that while waiting? Like I said, GREAT service and customer service!!!

Usually this place is great. On my last visit the attendant asked for my address. I told him that I would rather not give that information. He then informed me that I would need to provide my address to get my oil change. Why does someone need to provide an address for an oil change? They didnt need it at the place I went to after this. They were happy to accept my money without knowing my address.

When you pull into the oil chance bay you are greeted by smiling faces, given a water bottle and get your very own air conditioner duct faced into your car so you arent hot while your oil is being changed. This was, BY FAR, the most pleasant oil change Ive ever experienced, and Im no spring chicken!Bennys obviously has taken the time to think about the customer. 10/10 I highly recommend getting your oil changes here, I know I will be going back!

Went thru carwash and it damaged my vehicle. Bennys claims manager said they couldnt fix the damage. So I dropped my membership that I had for years.

This was my first time using Benny’s for an oil change and I’ll never go anywhere else in Baton Rouge. 2 days ago I went to Take 5 by Perkins Rowe and they barely spoke to me, the guy putting the oil in my car didn’t speak to the guy who asked what I wanted, and they didn’t change my filter or ask if I wanted it changed. As soon as they were done my check engine light came on, the guy just said it would go away on its own. I had him do the diagnostic thing(to his annoyance) and he asked me what google said the code meant then sent me on my way, assuring me again it wasn’t their fault. My car sounded awful and they wouldn’t give me an itemized receipt.Today I took it to Benny’s to get another oil change and look at what the hell Take 5 did to cause the code and they were extremely professional and helpful. Once they were finished, before we could address the code, it went off by itself as soon as my car came back on. So I STILL don’t know what the other place did wrong but they clearly did something. Also the guys are Benny’s noticed that Take 5 put someone else’s sticker on my dash, for a different car with different oil type and mileage. Will never go there again. HIGHLY recommend Benny’s on Essen!!

The interior workers were efficient and thorough. There was black gummy material on the driver and passenger windows. I pointed this out to one worker who made sure it was cleaned. It took some effort but the worker was successful. All were friendly and polite. I highly recommend the Essen location for an awesome car wash.

As expected, I had a wonderful visit at Bennys today! I am always treated with respect and my service is always excellent. The young men were very respectful and polite. I ONLY use Bennys because the service is ALWAYS exceptional! Honestly, even if you were more expensive than other places (your not) - I would STILL pay more just to get a smiling face with a good attitude. It makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE! I want to say it was a guy named Nick that took care of me! He was exceptionally kind, playful & knowledgeable! He went above & beyond to ensure my satisfaction, as well as teaching me things about my car for a just in case scenario. My daughter mentioned that he sounded like a Drill Sargent & I told him that & he playfully told her Watch this & he went back and forth calling out to the other gentleman about the specs & all of that & she really got a kick out of that! Brad and Q are the absolute best here! I went for an oil change and they went over and beyond to take care of my car! They had bottled water and air condition for me while I waited in the car while they did my oil change. Brad noticed that my tire pressure light came on so he checked my tires and filled up the one that needed it! Such an amazing experience and I will never go anywhere else for my oil change!

Brad and his crew always help me get my car in tip top shape for back on the road! I’ve tried other places and they don’t compare to the service they give me. They even let me know if there are other things that my car needs and where to find it and a lot of times how to fix it and that means a lot to me! They are great! If you don’t have a lot of time and no other help at home for your car needs go to the Benny’s on Essen and they will help you just like as if I had a husband. Lol. Thanks again guys!!

Oil change and wash. Took advantage of the car wash club. In and out quickly and dont have to get out of the car.

I pay for the monthly unlimited wash club and was close by this location so I decided to stop in. The car wash itself had a moldy smell while going through it. The dryers also hit against my car instead of staying above them like they do at every other location. I also had to hand dry my entire car after coming out when I usually only have to do a quick wipe of the trunk and mirrors. I would not reccomend this specific location.

I went to get an oil change on my luncbreak, their service was fast and efficient. Joshua and his team provided Awesome customer service, they are very informative. I will definitely will be back and I highly recommend them!!

I have multiple reasons why this by far deserved a 5-Star Review.I was told about a $5 off coupon, and because I have a high mileage vehicle - I was immediately sold. Typically about $50, and received service for $45 (5 quarts). Highly suggest checking website for deals/coupons. *Make sure to show staff this before services being, its polite.I already get very nervous driving over the pits, but enjoyed that I did not feel rushed to get my car over the spot. I arrived somewhere around 11:50 am, and believe this was the right before the Sunday afternoon rush as I was the only car for the two bays. Once I had my car in park, Jacob came over to immediately offer me a bottle of water and see what I was coming in for - service wise. As, I proceeded to say I was in for the high mileage oil change Stephen came over to put the A/C duct that they have at my window. This is honestly ingenious for Louisiana weather, and being able to sit in your car while your oil is being changed.I was able to fill out the iPad they provided to get my information, and they had my car and vehicle information. Additionally, they wanted the mileage my car was at currently.Bradley was also working on my vehicle and did an incredible job of explaining what he was doing and what he had done. I really like that they take samples from your car and then compare them to a fresh sample for the fluids. They explained about my filters and I felt that for a pull-up oil change, they do a great job at servicing the vehicle. I also never felt pressured to pay for additional services, which is a huge bonus for a person who does not know much about cars but could be persuaded to take care of some of these things they might have had serviced at their last oil change and just forgot. Bradley, Stephen, and Jacob did an incredible job and I would highly suggest them for anyone getting an oil change.Finally, when I went to pay I also got a *complimentary* car wash (mine was the $17 value)! Not sure if this is a regular thing, but honestly excellent. I could have also added the interior cleaning for an additional charge, but opted out. Caleb helped me put the code in for the car wash which was a bonus since I did not know how to put in the code. Though, once I watched - it was fairly simple and I believe anyone could figure it out.Not sure if the service is like this across all Bennys, but the Essen location did a phenomenal job. Truly exceeded any expectations I may have had. I would highly suggest this location to anyone needing an oil change or car wash!The only thing I wish I would have done was get the costs of what they recommended for my vehicle, but I forgot to ask!I hope this review helps!

Bennie’s has really slacked off in the last few years. The high quality service they used to offer has vanished to be replaced by half-hearted service. They seem to only be interested in the quick drive-thru wash. I always went there the last 20+ yrs as it was the best place in town to get a good cleaning, including shampooing the carpets, vacuuming the trunk, etc. Now, I still pay $43 for the cleaning but you have to ask them to vacuum the trunk, clean the gasoline door, get bugs off the front, etc. I never had to ask before....they just did it. And last time I was there a month or so ago, the carpet shampoo system was busted...for the second time!So, after 2 poor quality jobs at the Airline location, I took my wife’s car to the Essen Lane location. It was even worse. They can’t even shampoo your carpets??After being a faithful client for 25(?) years, I am moving on. Bye, Benny. You WERE the best.

Always the best place for the best carwash. They always catch every detail and go the extra to make sure your vehicle is spotless. Hands down best location of Bennys and any other wash in Louisiana.

I love it here, I drive 15-20 mins to come here everytime. My mini cooper car is a difficult one to find parts for because it is foreign, but they always have the filter and get the job done super fast.

Great place! Was having vehicle trouble on I-10 with my truck all of a sudden overheating. Got to Bennys and they took me right in and took care of me. Did right by me, fixed the problem, and didnt overcharge me. Matter of fact gave me a great deal! Will be a return customer and recommend to all!

Ive been getting my car washed here for years, and they do a decent job. They now offer an unlimited wash club, which costs about $15 a month, which is less than 1 car wash. So if you plan to get your car done at least once a month, its worth it, but I havent read the fine print yet.

The automated was machinery did a much more thorough job than the actual people who worked there. My Lexus is white and I could see the last remaining dirt spots on my car from literally 10 feet away as they were waiving me over to come and get my finished vehicle. I had to do a spot check of my car for them. Overall...?? Ok though. They were nice.

The service was great and the machines worked well. The place looks rundown though.I wish all the Bennys would close off their complimentary vacuums because it never fails that a trashy person is hogging all the vacuums or playing loud music and they obviously didnt get their car washed. I just went this one time because of the convenient location but I prefer going to Geaux Clean for these reasons.

Good car detailing! I paid $155 for a full interior detail and it looks like new. The manager even came out and wiped off some smudges even though I didnt pay for any exterior detailing. The oil change crew was very helpful and thorough. You pay a little more here, but you get what you pay for!

The oil service was nice and personal the guys asked and informed you about your oil transmission and rear end fluid of the color of fluid and includes a premium car outside car wash as they asked if I wanted the inside cleaned up and I declined because I keep it clean anyway. Soooo had a window busted out a month ago and today I decided to take my tuck to finally get it cleaned. I took, literally, everything out of my truck. Floor mats, emptied my doors, glove box, center console, etc. And to my surprise it was still dirty. Like it wasnt oh thats pretty easy to miss it was more like oh wow, looks like Rays Charles cleaned it. If their parents would have put the same amount of effort towards their conception as they did cleaning my truck, they wouldnt have even made it out of their dads balls sack. Will NOT be returning. Ill set this thing on fired before I bring it back, it would come out cleaner for sure. #thickboisriseup

I came to bennys to get an oil change today and my car randomly shut down . Mr bradley was a hugeeee help. He was able to fix my car enough for me to get home safely and see a mechanic. I can not thank you all enough. I will be back
