Im giving it a 5 star rating because the company over all was so friendly and nice. Sent a very nice and professional man out to give my AC a tune up. He didnt BS me and he was straightforward with me. I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone.
Great company! Very responsive, timely, and affordable. We needed a whole replacement of our AC and furnace, Danny came to our home and was very thorough explaining the options. The team who came out were very professional, I would recommend them to my family and friends!
Ben S. came to our home recently to take care of maintenance needed on our utilities. He went above and beyond what we asked of him. Not only was he professional & courteous, he was punctual and made sure that our needs were met before leaving. Ben is a great representation of the quality service that Hanna provides.
I just got a new heat and air system from Hanna. DANNY, JAMES and KIRK were wonderful. It was a complicated 2 day job, and the city inspector said they did a great job! Hanna is attentive, professional, affordable, and great to work with. Best company in Wichita! Thank you. BECKY WOLD
When our home air conditioner stopped working yesterday, Ben was the Hanna technician who answered the call.> Ben’s work was accurate and complete, and his attitude was professional and friendly. He deserves to be recognized for his great customer service skills.> Our thanks to Ben, and to Hanna Heating & Air Conditioning, for their great service.
Great service! A Saturday call, extra $$ well spent. Friendly and fast! Thanks so much!
Mike F. Was very professional and friendly. He explained the problem with the AC. Once the part was obtained Mike installed the part, cleaned and tested the unit.. Excellent service specialist, quality service call.
They were wonderful to work with. I will be using their services in the future
No mention of the $98 call fee just for pulling in the driveway.I’m a DIY maintainer, and my father has been in HVAC for 35+ years, so I know my way around these systems. I also know when to call in a professional. My evaporator coil sprung a leak on Sunday night. My dad recommended I call four reputable companies that he knew of, and Hanna was one of them. I called and left a message after hours. They were the first of the four to call me back Monday morning and said they could send a tech out at 8a. Swell! He was prompt. So far, so good. I told him I had already diagnosed the problem, taken off the panels to expose the coil; I even had video of where the leak was. I said I didn’t want it repaired, since R22 is too expensive now, but I wanted a quote on a drop-in coil and recharge with Freon MO99; that’s what my dad recommended since my outside unit is still in good shape. The tech said they don’t do that, but he would estimate an entire system replacement. Not what I wanted, but it never hurts to have all of your options to consider. He took some measurements and pictures. At this point, he had been at my house for 5-10 minutes.I offered to let him go to his next call — since I know that time is money in this business — and send me the estimate later in the day. He said it would only take a few minutes to write up the estimate. Okay, suit yourself.Ten minutes later, he hands me the estimate and said, “That will be $98.” Wait, what?He said they spend a lot of time running around these days, diagnosing old R22 systems without repairing them due to the cost of R22 now, so they are pretty much just writing estimates and not performing service, but they have to make money somehow. Hey, that sucks, but that’s not my problem. I didn’t argue with him since I knew it wasn’t his call to make, he was just doing his job. So, I paid the fee and called the office.I explained the situation, that all I needed was an estimate for replacement, no diagnostic was done by the tech because I had already diagnosed the problem, so why do I have to pay this fee? “We don’t work for free,” was Jim’s response.Well, I never asked you to, but no “work” was done. He was here for 15-20 minutes, the better part of that writing the estimate, and you charged me $98 for a piece of paper with some ink on it? He said that is the fee for being called out, period.I told Jim that never have I ever had to pay for an estimate for installation of anything — fencing, plumbing, gutters, painting, windows, siding — and that, from my perspective, this was no different. He asked me what other HVAC companies were out there that I knew of that would “work for free.” Again, I said that’s not what I was asking for, but since he asked, I told him that after his tech left, I had received a FREE estimate from Aire Serv for a drop-in coil, which is what I asked for in the first place.Jim doubled down on charging the fee because I requested someone come out, and they responded right away when I called. I told him I called the night before and that they just happened to be the first call back I received, but no mention of the fee to send the tech when they did.“We tell everyone about the call fee, sir,” to which I responded that if I would have known they were going to charge me $98 to pull into my driveway, I would have told them not to bother. At this point, Jim sounded pretty miffed, and after a brief hold, he hopped back on the line to tell me he was refunding the $98, but “just don’t call us again, you probably never will anyway. If you want free work, call your dad.”Unnecessary escalation on Jim’s part, just because I knew what I was talking about and I had the nerve to call out their backdoor method of skimming $100 from unsuspecting people. In other news, I highly recommend John and the kind folks at Aire Serv. My new coil is working perfectly, for 1/3 of the price Hanna wanted for a full system install that I didn’t need.
Jim was super helpful and got us squared away. Will definitely work with him again.
I called at 2:30am on Valentines day of 2021. Had the call taker say she would have tech call as I was without heat with temperatures in the -12. No call, no help, I even was willing to tell him what was wrong as it would need a new inducer motor. Could of helped get him done and already know what was wrong. Poor response, but I do understand if there where numerous calls but seriously nothing ever came of it. No call and no service.
Quick response time. Heater wasnt working they came out in just a few hours and got it upand running. Very knowledgeable service technician.
Hanna install an A/C and new furnace. Mike and James did an excellent job. I am a Maintenance Supervisor for a company and seen other HVAC companies and their installation was top notch.
Mike F. Just came by this morning after our unit went down overnight. He picked up around ten at night, and did two additional follow ups before coming out. He was very professional, and also advised many key points to further the life and longevity of our unit. While also keeping it within the budget. Hes a great technician, and really goes the extra mile in his position. Thank you guys again!!
The men that came out to my house were wonderful! They did a complete install and did it in a timely manner. They were on time and finished early. Our new unit is amazing!
My experience with Hanna has been the best ! My air went out on the hottest day of the year. i had just closed on my house on 6/26/20 and five days later i needed a compressor, unfortunely it was also the week of the 4th. Mike was so sympathetic he made sure i received a portable air conditioner and they promptly installed my compressor. i highly recommend their services.
Hanna Heating and Air Conditioning is absolutely the best! Our unit burned up the weekend of Memorial Day. They gave us a portable unit to keep cool at night, as they were booked a week out before they could come. Steve and Cesar came and were absolutely the best, very professional and made sure I understood everything. So happy we did not go with “the guy” someone knows. We are pretty sure Hanna sent the best team they have over there. Thanks so much!!
The AC went out in my home yesterday. My home owners warranty assigned Hanna to the job. When I contacted the tech to ask what time he might be able to come out to my house, he informed me that he was putting me at the end of the line because it was a hassle to get paid when a customer has a home owners warranty. He assured me that he would be out to the house today, but when he neither called nor came to my house, I called him again. He stated that his supervisor cancelled my service request because of the warranty. Please do not use Hanna for your heating/cooling needs. They are far-more interested in receiving money than in treating the customer with dignity and respect.
Do not allow this company to install new units.Do not call the company for service.Do not schedule this company to maintain your existing units. We had two brand new units installed in Nov. 2017. This is their third summer in service. We started having trouble with the main floor unit not cooling during the day, so we called Hanna since they installed the units. When the tech came to service our unit the following week, he asked (what I thought was an innocent question at the time, but later discovered this is part of the insidious way they won’t admit fault – more on that in a moment) if Hanna had done the installation. I answered yes, since that was reality. The tech then stated that our coil had failed and was leaking and a new coil installation would cost $850 on top of the $150 service call, which he collected that day. He said they could not replace the coil for another week. We paid the service call fee and resigned ourselves that it would cost a total of $1000 total to have our 2.5 year old AC functioning again, due to a faulty part. He did not recharge the unit’s refrigerant and advised us to turn the main floor unit off.I called Hanna’s sales manager, Mike, to see if there was anything they would do to help us since these units were so new. He told me that the part was under warranty, so that was free, but their labor was not. The $850 is what we’ll pay, no matter what. I then became more direct and asked him if there was any discount they could give us, since they installed the units and I assumed their service would be better. Since the part was under warranty, they set the price for service at anything they want. He told me there was nothing he could do, and then provided a bizarre example of ‘maintenance costs’ and the $65,000 SUV he had just purchased and had to perform service on shortly after purchase and “You have to spend money to keep things working”. He told me that sometimes, you just have bad luck and wouldn’t budge on the price at all (again, this was their labor fee only). I get that companies can’t do work for free, but I must admit, at this point, I became mad. I told him that I don’t own a $65,000 SUV and ‘maintenance costs’ are what I have paid them every year to service my AC and furnaces. Despite these services, they never found the leak or indicated there were any issues. Mike told us it was just ‘our bad luck’ and asked what I thought would be fair. I told him that since the part was under warranty, he sets the price for labor and I thought a fair price would be $400 to replace the coil since we’d already paid $150 for a service call. He said no deal, and I could do what I want, but there would be no discount, end of story. It would be $850 more or we could choose to sweat until October. At this point, we started making some calls. Luckily, we found an independent master technician who was appalled at the service and prices we received from Hanna. He discovered that when the units were installed (and I suspect that this is why the tech asked if Hanna had installed the units) that a simple thermal expansion valve had not been tightened at all during the installation which caused the coil to leak and fail. I suspect, that since Hanna had installed the units and failed to do the job correctly, they didn’t want to admit that the installation was substandard. The master technician also questioned how the flue pipe was installed, as it also seemed to be assembled very poorly. He was able to get a new coil and install it the same day for about $400 (or what I had asked Hanna to do the work for). Now we have a cool house once again and I will never ask Hanna to do work for us and I will advise my friends, family, or anyone who asks to stay far, far away from Hanna – unless you want to help finance their managers’ next $65,000 SUV, that is. I’m happy to share more information about this experience with you, the consumer, if you want to know more. I won’t let anyone from Hanna near my HVAC system again and I strongly advise you to do the same.
Furnace was not cycling right. This happened on the weekend recently. The service tech explained the problem. Suggested I try to correct the problem for a temporary fix, so the service tech could repair it during the week, resulting in not being charged the weekend emergency fee. I appreciate his concerns. The furnace worked fine after I followed his instructions. Hanna Heating&Air is always the company we go to!
Very professional tech, Informative and they dont sell you anything you dont need!! Would highly recommend!!!
Reliable local company that does great work and is honest. Highly recommend!
Re-edit: As somehow the comments were for a restaurant and ended up under here.We have used Hannah for quite a few years. They have installed several air conditioners and done a great job. They have repaired our air conditioners also
I had a furnace issue and Hanna Heating and Air had me back up and running in no time. They were very professional, from the office staff to the technician, and were flexible and accommodating; changing their visit time to work with my schedule. Adam did a great job fixing my system and explaining clearly what he found and how he fixed it. I would highly recommend them for any HVAC needs.
Great service. Friendly technician.
Need a repair today? With more than 70 trucks in the field, you can be sure no other local heating and air company can deliver faster professional service. This is what their website states.I called as my furnace is not working at all and it is very cold in my home. Their reply on a Friday at 1pm was we can be out there Monday morning is that ok? Ummmm NO its not ok. Would it be ok for your family to go without heat for 4 days? So therefore, their very own statement on their very own website is in fact false. They cannot provide same day service. Do your self a favor and dont waste your time here.
Service this good is hard to find! Our 22yr old AC died in October so we had Danny come out to give us a quote. A few days later our furnace failed. I called Danny and they installed a complete new system the next day! Very helpful and knowledgeable sales and installers. Highly recommended.
Received a reminder card yesterday; called this morning and a technician was able to come out to our home TODAY!! Dustin was friendly and took care of our summer startup. I appreciated the way he went over the specific information when he was finished. Weve been customers since putting in a new system in 2011 and have been very satisfied.
We had Hanna come and do our spring tune up for the air conditioner. Dustin arrived promptly and did a great job. He was very patient and understanding of our 2 year old, who wanted to watch and give him things. After Dustin was done, he explained everything he did and answered any questions. We will be glad to have Hanna come back again.
Both gentlemen were very professional and did a great job. They took the time to explain everything about the new system that they installed. They also did a great job of cleaning up after the job. I would definitely use Hanna Heating and Air Conditioning again.
Called at 1:40 am and she said she could page someone, but didnt know if they would come out at this late at night...so much for 24 hr service
Last summer we put in a new heating and air conditioning unit and it was very very good work but we found out this winter that we had too much of dry air and we had a humidifier put on by Hannah and it worked out perfect
Cesar and John installed two new AC units and a new furnace in my home. They were friendly, courteous and most of all real pros who knew what they were doing. Jason was also knowledgeable and very helpful when bidding my project. I would very highly recommend Hanna HVAC for any household heating or cooling service or installation.
Outstanding, really! Danny worked some magic to get my system in early as I was completely without air. The Techs, Adam and Shaun, did an incredibly professional job installing the system. Now I know why the rest of my family recommended Hanna.
A big thank you to Mike F. My AC went out around 7:00 pm called Hanna and Mike had it fixed by 8:45 pm. Cannot thank you enough!
We have used Hanna for over 10 years and are very happy with their professionalism. They are all friendly and knowledgeable. We recently had Dustin come and do our spring check up and he was very thorough. We definitely recommend Hanna!!!!
Last week we had a new HVAC installed by Steve and Caesar. We’ve had a week with it and we are very happy with the installation they did. It took most of a day and they did everything we asked. Everyone we felt with seemed honest and I never felt any high pressure sales pitches. All in all I feel that they had wanted what would be best for us and talked us back from a more expensive unit because it wouldn’t pay for itself in the life of the units. I think Jason did a good job on the bids, we had 3 other vendors out and they came in under them all for what we were looking for.
Dustin was the tech who came out today. He did a phenomenal job working with me and working around us having a new baby. Very professional and I truly felt taken care of!
The most honest heating/ac company in Wichita. Had an AC that wasn’t blowing out cool air. Hanna came out & said all we needed was a new air filter; because I burn too many candles, the wax built up in the filter 😳
Mike Ferland was an excellent service person. Besides his service on the furnace, he was very informative on many questions I had about the furnace and other electronics related topics. He provided an excellent value added service!
Furnace went out the other day and I had been having to refill the refrigerant in the system as there was a slow leak in the evaporator coil, which was costing me several hundred dollars every summer. So I had to get an AC/furnace, after contacting several companies and getting their bids I found Hanna to be mid range between all of them. I chose Hanna mainly for their reputation and quality of their unit according to all of the reviews I looked through.Everything is now installed and I would like to compliment the guys that did the install, they were very courteous and answered any and every question I put to them. I was very impressed, so thank you Steve and Ceasar. I will post another review in the summer once the air conditioner get a shot at making its presence known, I am hoping that the days of a $375 electric bill has seen its last.
It just started snowing in Wichita and, lo and behold, the furnace wasnt turning on. In about 5 minutes my technician, Adam, figured out the problem and was able to change it out within the half hour. He was incredibly friendly and, despite how annoying it may be to be asked questions, was more than willing to answer questions about what was wrong and how he was going to fix it, giving me pointers on maintenance as well. The repair was somewhat pricey however, having paid $340 for replacement of an igniter including the $98 fee for emergency service call. I would say that, for peace of mind knowing that it was done right, it was worth the cost.
I can’t say enough good things about this company. They serviced my aged HVAC and kept it running like a champ when another company I won’t name (ok, it’s Roth) charged me over $250 to tell me they couldn’t start it. Hanna’s employees are on time, pleasant, respectful of my home, fast, efficient, provided me with all the paperwork I needed for an insurance claim, replaced my old HVAC quickly and quietly (how did they work in the attic so quietly?) and have recommended excellent equipment. I have complete confidence in them, and that’s a lot of piece of mind.
They were very helpful and incredibly swift in getting my new unit installed! Absolutely recommend them!
Adam S just left my house after working on my ancient Chrysler airtemp furnace and getting my AC back up and running. Adam was knowledgeable, on time, expedient, and a really nice guy. This is my first time using Hanna and I will definitely be using them again.
My service tech was amazing he explained everything well he was through and detailed could not ask for a better experience thank you hanna for keeping my babies cool
Wow talk about top notch service these boys sure know what theyre doing. Friendly folk with quality and commitment in mind, not to mention way less than Crooks heating and air. Just believe me when I say dont go anywhere else.
Weve used Hanna Heating and Air Conditioning several times for seasonal tune ups since 2012. Theyve always been courteous, professional and very detailed about what needs to be done and the cost/potential cost involved.Their customer service on the phone as well as in person is a huge reason I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
Everyone at Hanna is first class. I called and serviceman sent right out. Very polite and knowledgeable. They found the problem and fixed it. Will definitely recommend them.
Johnny was awesome!! He went above & beyond & was so patient and explained everything. I love using them for heating & air conditioning!!
Highly recommend reaching out to Mr. Johnny Combs of Andover branch for all of your heating, air conditioning and plumbing needs. Our family had our AC unit breakdown at the worst time of course, and being overwhelmed with so many different options, extremely large ranges of repair estimates; he was the first to take the extra time to explain everything, as well as all of our options. Never tried to oversell anything, and honestly matched our home needs with the right unit. The Hanna team scheduled us, came out ON TIME, and were courteous. They laid down an abundance of drop cloths wherever the needed to work. My electric bill is now reduced by approximately 30%. Extremely professional.Tran family thanks you.
Cesar and his crew did full central air install for me, from replacing ductwork to putting in the unit. They were friendly, professional, productive, and asked my opinion on every decision they had to make.Danny did the quotes for both my new heater when I bought the house, and this install. Very professional and efficient. Had a good time talking to him and the crew both.At no point did having them in my house feel awkward or uncomfortable. I could not be happier with their service.
Ive tried for several weeks to speak to someone about doing a job. I have gotten virtually no response from them. I know they will reply and say I should call so they can make it right and this is not like them. Unfortunately, I have tried this and still have nothing.
Johnny Combs and Hanna Heating and Air has always gone above and beyond to help us even when it wasn’t the most convenient of times for him! I would highly recommend using Hanna Heating and Air and if in the Wichita/Andover area Johnny Combs!Josh AxlineSatisfied Customer
Just had an excellent experience with this company. Called them at 8:15 to fix my furnace. Glen arrived by 9:15, diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and was out of there by 9:45, allowing me to salvage my work day. Along the way, he explained exactly what I was looking at as I watched him, explained the problem and the fix for it, answered all my stupid questions and still asked me three other times if I had questions. He gave me helpful advice about future maintainance and did it all with a pleasant and professional attitude. The price was a bit higher than I expected, but it was NOT unreasonable or outrageous. Would definitely use them again in the future.
Thank you to Tammy and Hanna for helping us. Tammy was wonderful to work with on the phone! Mae Taylor
Cesar and his crew were very responsible, punctual, professional, quickly and friendly. I recommend the service of this company to anybody!!!
Great service an real nice people
Diagnosed furnace problem as bad pressure switch. It quit again after a few days. Then they said it was cracked heat exchanger and I need a new furnace. I called Fahnestock and they tested it and said it was fine, just had a plugged intake vent. That fixed it. Nice folks, but they should give me my $200 back.
Mike was awesome he came out late one evening after hours and fixed us right up. He taught us about what had happened and explained what he had to do to fix it.
I called about my a.c. unit that had been acting up for awhile. I called after hours, after putting up with exhausting heat all day I couldnt take it anymore, Mike called back within 10 minutes and was polite. He made it out quick and got to work fast. It didnt take him long he knew what he was doing and was very polite and kind. 10/10 I would deffintly recommend him to any and all friends and family.
Big thanks to Shaun with Hanna for doing such a great job! I would recommend Hanna to anyone. Truly professional!
I recently had to completely replace my old heating and air conditioning system in my home. I made a call to Hanna because of good reviews and experience in the business. I have to say I was very impressed. A nice lady named brook answered my call . Very professional and scheduled my install. The installers, Steve and Cesar came to my home and installed my new trane system. I was amazed how professional they were and there knowledge of the trade. Brook, Steve, and Cesar thank you for service and I hope you all get a big ol raise from your boss. I would highly recommended Hanna heating and air if your in search of a hvac company.
Company was friendly and fast, Adam, technician, was professional and nice! Thank you!
Adam Shoemaker did an outstanding job on the installation of my new toilet and basin faucet. Thanks again to Hanna HVAC.
I initially didnt like the service. We were sold a furnace we didnt need when it was only a wire that was disconnected. This was escalated to the BBB. Hanna agreed to give us a partial refund, but admitted no wrongdoing.
Worst place ever! STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS! Other places will replace your coil for less than $800, these CRIMINALS. Want $1500! They came out and charged me $348 for Freon when I could have been charged only $80 from another local company! Stay way from these thieves! The guy laughs at you if your a woman and just talks over you...rudest people Ive ever dealt with! RIP OFF!
Called after hours on a weekend night was told it was expensive to come out at the time, was told we would be called first thing Mon, they called to tell us they were sending someone, no rates discussed on either call, (outside the weekend rates). The service man came Monday around 3. I asked what it was going to run so I could call in for approval (in front of him) He quoted me the job with out the $95 service call. I got approval repeated this amount 3 times each time he confirmed it, and then he brought me a bill for $95 more. said I should have know that charge was going to be on top of his quote its not his resp to tell the customer that, it is the girls in the office. I called the office to discuss this and the fact that the equipment was not installed properly, according to the report on the ticket. It was installed by them in the first place and she told me that they dont make mistakes. furthermore that she could not resolve this with me. she had to get off the line and call someone so the tech had to talk to someone then I could talk to him. This Man was a monster and told me that he would have the tech go back into my house and rip out the unit and you can find someone else to take care of you WHAT!!! is that even legal?? I think not. So they do not stand behind their work even after it is determined that it was installed incorrectly. And no customer service etiquette what so ever when conflict arises. My advice to you .....find someone else to help you out unless you want stuff Ripped Out of your house and or tons of verbal abuse when you have inquiry over your service. No offense to the tech poor guy was caught in the middle and you could see he did not want to say anything to make the guy above him mad. Must be rough to work in that kind of environment.
Friendly and experienced staff. Best hvac/plumbing company around.
The technican was very good in his checking out our system.r
Wonderful service! They had my new RUUD AC installed in one day! Thank you HANNA!
Nice friendly, easy to talk with know their jobs well very pleased, thank you
Great company easy to work with and discuss options. Quick service call.
EXCELLENT AND PROMPT SERVICE! Thank you Mike!
Would not use this company again if they paid me. Very unprofessional. They have never once asked permission to fix problems, just assume all is ok. I have over $1500 bill and i only okd $379 of it. Customer service is terrible. Called them out on 4/17, 5/28 and 6/14.
Great people! The customer service is excellent!
My heater broke last weekend, they came out at night and got it working again. Very thankful for the Hanna team!
Good food, great staff
Had them come out and do a routine checkup on my heating and air system which I knew would require the addition of refrigerant. What I was not told up front was there was a $250 minimum charge for charging the system regardless of how much they put in. If I had known that I would have used someone else who charged by the pound. By the time I factored in having another service call from another company I went ahead and let them do it. They only had to put in about a pound of refrigerant. I called several other heating and air dealers to see if this was the way the industry was going. Maybe it is but everyone I called at that time said they charged by the pound to recharge a system and the cost was not $250 for less than a pound.Needless to say I will not use them again. The technician even apologized up front when he explained the pricing and was uncomfortable with this charging this much.
Great personable service.
Friendly and very informative
