Our AC died during the night and we called Dan’s the next morning asking for an estimate of a new system. They sent Earl to our house that afternoon. Earl was concerned first and foremost about us, not whether or not he could sell us something. He first attempted to fix the old unit so we could have some cool air. Despite all his efforts, it was not possible. The unit was 22 years old and dead. Earl then showed us several options for systems. We had determined the heating system was over 30 years old and we would replace everything with the newer systems. Earl explained the benefits of the systems in an easy to understand manner. He was not high pressure in any way. We told him we have some other appointments coming to give us bids. He said, as well you should. If you have any questions after meeting with your other appointments, I will be happy to help you. After the other appointments, we knew we wanted Dan’s to provide our new units. We really liked the idea behind the newer technology and the price was very reasonable. A few days later, Juan, Joe and Jason came out to install the units. Because we had an appointment we needed to be at, they came at 7:45 am just to help us! We felt very comfortable leaving them alone in our house. They worked all day until everything was installed and running to their satisfaction as well as ours. They even took extra steps to rearrange pipes and gas lines near the heating unit in order to give everything a much cleaner look and more efficient operation. We offered to write this review, Dan’s never asked us for a review. They also have a great service plan we plan to utilize. We will only use Dan’s Heating and Cooling for our heating and cooling needs.

Glen was very professional. He took the time to explain what he found and what steps he was taking to fix/ clean the issues. He showed me tips on how to monitor my system so I would know when to change filters or give them a call. Im very happy with the service and cost.

Dan’s did a fantastic job getting a technician out on a Sunday morning to look at our A/C that quit working. Unfortunately the AC was not reparable. The tech scheduled a sales guy to come out early in the week (temps inside house we’re 90 degrees ) and bid a new unit. I also got another bid from a competitor. Adrian came out and was very helpful answering my questions and working with me. Dan’s pricing was spot on with competition and Dan’s could install the NEXT DAY! Sold! Highly recommend.

The blower motor bearings were wearing out making a terrible grind and squeal. Called after-hours for service and they were right out and replaced it. We love Dans. Weve used them for many services now, including a water heater replacement and HVAC maintenance. Most recently they replaced our entire HVAC system. We had already gotten on their schedule to have this work done as we knew our system was on its last legs, but when it quit working completely four days before our install, they brought out portable A/C units (free of charge!) to keep us cool until they could get out and do the job. I had heard how busy all AC companies are right now, especially with industry shortages, so I was VERY impressed and grateful that they were able to do that for us. When they did the install, one of the techs wasnt 100% happy with a sound the fan was making, so he swapped it for a new part and made sure everything was up to his standards before they left. Then, when I mentioned to the technicians that the sales rep had offered us a discount after our last maintenance if we did a full install with them (a couple months ago), they didnt know about it but mentioned it to the office, and the rep called ME to verify they would apply the discount! I didnt have to call and ask for it, it was so great. Very pleased with their timeliness and professionalism, and especially happy how cool it is in our house now.Thanks, Dans!

They noticed a leak in our outside water spigot and put a cap on it for us, to stop the leak. Jeff Osowski is the technician who came to our home this morning. He was careful, ethical, and efficient. He communicated well and explained what he was doing and why. What we require, in this older home, is preventative maintenance that is honest and conscientious. We were looking to replace our furnace and A/C unit. We called and contacted several companies on their websites. Many didn’t even to call me back as a lead promptly and those that did, took forever to get back to me with a quote. They lost my business. The good news is that Earl from Dans Heating and Air was extremely Responsive and helpful in helping us through the the maize of options. I settled on a Trane 18xi with air scrubber and 5” filter unit and their service techs showed up on time, took care in the installation and did a stellar job. I highly recommend them because they care about customer satisfaction.

A good and reliable hvac company

They put a new system in our house 1 year ago. Our bill went from 400 to 225. The house is so cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The salesman was very knowledgeable and the workmen were great.

I had a service call for my A/C Friday, June 26. I came home Monday the 29th, and the house was hot. I called Dans and got their after hours answering service. In a few minutes, a lady from Dans called, and said the would get someone out the next day. A few minutes later, Jeff O. a tech from Dans called and said he just finished a call a couple miles from my house and would like to come out.Jeff stayed till 9:00, corrected some oversights from the first service call, changed my filters, and would not accept payment. He gave up his night to take care of us. This is the Dans heating and Cooling I remember, and is why I use them, and refer them. Thanks Jeff.

We had 5 different companies come to our house to look at our current system and talk about different options for our needs. Very pleased with Dans H & C. They recently installed our new Trane AC and furnace. Unlike the other HVAC companies we looked into, Earl from Dans treated us as if we were his only customer. He was patient with our many questions, and thoroughly diagnosed our current ductwork and heating/cooling needs prior to quoting us a new system. Dans was very courteous and knowledgeable about our install, and worked with us very well. Steve Giles, our salesman, was amazing, and super easy to work with. Any questions I had he would answer. I have several other large named companies come out as well, and I still waiting for their estimate. Dans is the ONLY way to go, they give each job the personal time and attention it needs and deserves.

They keep track of all your information in their system so you dont have to worry about explaining what was done! They are quick to get to you & have been extremely honest & nice to us. We would recommend using them to anyone! They are a little more expensive than some companies in town, but they job is done right & this way we dont have to call them out multiple times to fix the same issue!!!!

Service maintenance agreement

Had them out 3 times to fix an issue with my furnace intermittently not running. Parts were covered and labor was not in the warranty. I told the tech the first time that I wanted the control board replaced but he said no and that he cleaned the igniters. Furnace acted up after he left so we had them called back (days later). This tech I told to also replace our controller board. He refused and claimed to have replaced the igniters. The furnace still wasn’t fixed so we called them back a third time. This time I demanded they replace the part to requested and not to charge me labor as I’ve already paid twice and the work was never completed to satisfaction. They agreed finally. After the final repairs they sent me an invoice for the labor even though they agreed the 3rd trip would be free and documented it on my invoice left during the 3rd trip. I refused to pay so they turned me into a collection agency. Thankfully I was able to get the agency to drop collection attempts once I showed my paperwork to them.

Jeff the technician was right on time. He was friendly and professional. He even took a few minutes to love on my beloved hounds! The problem turned out worse that I hoped, and Jeff showed me the burned out circuit board in my central air unit. I highly recommend this company, and will call them for any heating, air-conditioning, or plumbing needs in future. I would give them ten stars if I could. My hounds also give two dew-claws up!

I have been using Dans Heating and Cooling for over 25 years. Three different homes that I have owned. 10 years ago they suggested we get the annual maintenance agreement. We did and it save us twice. Once with our furnace and once with our AC. Because of that they were able to identify minor issues before they became major issues. Because the same person has always done our maintenance. We know him on a first name bases. Henry I have recommend Dans to many friends and family members!

They came out on a Saturday and fixed our AC quickly.

Called for an estimate to replace. Showed up on time. Went through checking on everything and then tells me it will be 3 weeks until the work can be done. Apologizes for wasting my time. I called based on the reviews. I didnt realize I had to ask how soon the work can be done. In the future, I believe it would be good to ask prior to setting up the appointment, coming out and walking through a home.

If I could give more stars i would!!!! They where on time, and they did a wonderful job installing my new heater.

Our 1979 HVAC finally bit the dust and I needed to find someone. From short research, I decided on the Trane brand. I chose Dans due to staffing certified Trane specialists. Im sure I paid a bit more going with Dan, but the service was awesome. They even gave us a portable HVAC to use for the week or so till the unit was installed. While the portable unit couldnt keep up with the triple digits, it did provide some assistance to temporary relief.During the transition, Earl stayed in communication, and even stopped by to examine the craftsmanship. The technicians that did the install were straight shooters, direct to the point, and worked to ensure the install went smoothly -- and it did! After the install was complete, they ensured the basement was swept, any borrowed equipment was returned, and the work area was clean as before.Well done guys. I look forward to work with you guys again!

Our experience has been terrible! This company was sent out through our warranty company so we figured things would be great, but to our surprise, it wasnt so. My wife did some digging to see what other companies were with our warranty company that had lower priced freon and she found one. The other company is charging $40 per pound for freon and these guys are charging $75! So, instead of working with us, they know that because its through the warranty company, our only option was to take a cash out and end up living in 100+ degree heat for what could take another couple weeks because they threatened to send the part back instead of working with us (price matching) or letting the other company do the job. This company doesnt care about its customers, they only care about makin money.

Our heat pump went out. It was a 25 year old Trane. We wanted to replace it with a Trane. Dans gave us the best price. They installed it in one day. Highly recommend.
