I went to Modern Nails and Salon today(my first time) to get my acrylic fill, plus gel. And a classic pedi. Which came to a total of $75 Before you freak out. I did have extra changes cause of nail trim, gel polish instead of regular polish. The have reasonable prices!!The woman who did my mani and pedi was always!! Really took her time, making everything perfect!! And was polite to hearing how I wanted my nails to look. Should be in the area. I suggest you ask for Kim!! The whole staff were really nice!Its safe to saw I found my Nail home!!!

I called ahead of time and asked how much it would be for a gel mani/pedi for my 9 year old daughter. I was advised it would be 24 dollars. I kept repeating the fact that i want an actual mani and pedi for her and it would be gel. The lady at the front desk confirmed. I then drove out there, to be completely disappointed. They saw my daughter and judged her by her size. I’m sorry but not all children are built the same. My daughter was body shamed and said she would be considered an adult. They changed all the prices and my daughter had to witness it. Get your prices together people!!!! Don’t make potential clients drive to you to then change it up. Do not support this type of business that would do this to children!!!!!

I dont normal give a place 5 stars but I am very satisfied with their cleanliness. They just recently reopened so hopefully these practices continue. Ill reevaluate my review once I know how long the manicure last.

I was seeking a new nail spot when mine closed for business at the quad I must have went through 4 nail salons in Whittier before I found this place Ive been going here for about 3 months and I love it! Amy is always so sweet and always hooks my nails up not just for me but my 3yr old too. The ladies are super nice and take good care of you! Prices are great too

I like the work, but dont like how they use the same tools with I dont know how many people. I have not seen the nail techs open or take out new tools for every customer.

Just wow.. Went in just to get a fill and i loved my experience. Very welcoming environment. I took my daughter and niece to do a mani and pedi and they loved it. Its very relaxing and I loved my nails. Will definetly be returning in the future.

Good local nail spa! Shop is always clean and the tools are disinfectated for each customer (just like they shoul be). They are short staffed so sometimes you wait but it’s worth it. They do a great spa pedicure!

I have been coming here for about 6 months now and im never disappointed. Emmy, Cindy, and Kim are our (my mom, niece, and i) go to girls. I dont think Emmy and Cindy work there anymore, but i have had the honor of meeting the new girls and they are still really good. they have great customer service and they wont disappoint you. They are so gentle and care free and that sold us. My mom had cancer and the chemo made her super sensitive, so any time anyone touched my moms feet she cried and freaked out. We are so satisfied with the way they took care of us. Please give these ladies a chance they are so nice and good at what they do. they removed the callus so GOOOOOODDDDD. i definitely recommed this to anyone who is looking for great ladies to take care of their manis and pedis!!!!

Some of the lady’s are very rude they want to be comfortable instead of the costumers and really ugly work on my full set nails. Not coming back nor recommend it.

I have always loved the way they did my nails.Ive tried 2 other places with friends and i gatta say that this is still my favorite:)) keep up the great work.

I have never had a single bad experience at Modern Nail and Spa. I fully recommend this location.
