I just moved to the area and was referred to this nail place and was not disappointed. Moon did an amazing job on my nails. I was hesitant about getting my nails Almond shaped because I didnt like the way they came out in the past. Moons filing technique is on point. Love them so much! They look so natural! The staff is all nice and down to earth. I enjoyed my experience and found my new nail place for sure!

Thats around the 4th time that Ive been there and every time I come out Im very satisfied it is a bit pricey and definitely make an appointment and go to John!!!

The worst experience ever! I had an appt scheduled for 5:30 pm. When I arrived no one greeted me. I waited till 6 pm and Karen was still buzy with the previous cust. So I asked the girl at the counter if someone could go ahead & do my polish change on my feet since Karen wasnt ready for me. She shrugged her shoulders like she didnt know what I was saying. Maybe she couldnt speak the language and that would explain why she didnt bother to greet me also. Kim came over and asked me what I wanted I explained again to her and she said ok pick out a color. I told her what number (in the book) that I wanted and she said You go get it on the wall. I was like you want me to look thru ALLLLL of these to find #174? She said ya you look. I told her No Im not going to look for it, thats your job. She finished my polish change & then Karen was finally done at 6:15 pm. I went to her station and she said absolutely nothing to me. No Hi,No Im sorry for the long wait or anything. Never thanked me afterward. It was the rudest, most unappreciative experience ever! I felt like they didnt appreciate my business and could care less that I had to wait all that time without an explanation or anything. So rude! And if youre wondering if I left either one of them a tip? Absolutely Not! I will not be returning. ALSO...my previous appt I had a pedicure and the chair they put me in the massage remote did not work. I asked them if I could move to another chair but she said no. Im paying not only for the pedicure but also the massage/spa experience and not even getting it!? I shouldve picked up on that at the time but I gave them a second chance...they definetly BLEW that! Thanks for letting me vent! Any suggestions on a better place to go in the Whittier area would be greatly appreciated.....

I was a first time customer. I have to say this place is great! They are all so welcoming and kind. They really care about how you feel throughout the whole process of your services. My nails look super cute as well. I definitely recommend this place for nice nails, and a place where you will be treated nicely.

I always love the way they do my nails. I have had different techs each time I’ve gone and all of them so far have been on point with my nails and I leave satisfied. As for pedicures most of the time they do a great job but I kinda feel that when I ask just for the basic pedicure they rush through the pedicure and don’t scrub or massage your feet. They do a quick rub and move on. Just something I’ve observed. Other than that I drive from Bellflower to get my nails done because they know how to do nails, designs and all the new trends.

So I always come to this nail spot and leave happyBut after today definitely never coming backFirst off I asked for another girl waited and came back to being serviced by a skinny, tall Asian male ok whatever thought I give him a chance but I honestly paid $ 55 for this my 7 year couldve done a better job!The girl at the front desk offered to fix them with someone else but I got there at 11 or so left came back at 11:45 finished at 1:10 like lets be real time is money and I do not have time with that being said she offered a $5 dollar gift card like 5 dollars means anything when I tip more than that keep the chump change Im good

Have been going here for a few months. Was recommended to John by my niece Sarah. John is AMAZING. I’ve only been to John and I’m spoiled now so I think I will only continue to see him! Very rude,,,,,,it is Monday 8/2/21 4:30 . They said may I help you do you need full set I said no just a fill they said you have to have an appointment.. only 2 people waiting. A big sign on there front window says WALK-IN Welcome!!! Than they said not today . They only want your money for full set customers only. Very very pricey

I dont really get my nails done but, when I do I go there. I love that they are respectful and nice they do an amazing job. My friend took me there for my fist time, Ive also accompanied her many times and they have never failed. I will say they can be a little pricey. Just today I was charged 45 for short acrylic almond shaped nails, but you can be the judge of that at the end I thought it was worth it.

I went here during my lunch to try them out, the reviews is why I picked this place, I had a new set done by a guy I was not happy with my nails and he noticed it, my nails look bulky and curve up. Very disappointed with his work .

They seem to be beginners. They have no Idea what they r doing. I got a full-set. They were ugly. I asked for them a specific way. The result was nothing to what I wanted. Horrible. And they took forever to finish my set. I dont give not one star

I went to this salon with very high hopes. I came across their Instagram page & was impressed with their designs. I asked for pink hombre nails & when the time came to apply the pink powder. I noticed that she was using clear powder, she then informed me that they spray paint the pink color. I then asked her if she could instead paint my nails white & spray paint black tips- she said yes. After she finished putting on the white gel paint, she goes to the paint spray machine, looked at it for several minutes & then said that she needed to clean out the machine. After I asked her to clean it, she then said it was too difficult do. A male worker that spoke English well, then told me that they did not have black paint. He said they only had pink & tan colors for the hombre nails. I then asked if they could paint marble nails instead & they said it was $10 more dollars. By this point, Im upset & asked her to just spray paint the pink. She then prepares the drill in order to take off completely all of the gel. I told her I didnt have time for this and that I was just going to leave.I feel that there was a language barrier that prevented her from telling me what she could or could not do. The gentleman that spoke English was dismissive & did not attempt to help solve the problem. He instead charged me $37 for the work and at no point did anyone even acknowledge that I was walking away with a nail color I did not want (plain white.)I just took a closer look at my nails & observed how lumpy they look... so the quality is terrible. You are better off not going to this shop.

Horrible my nails lifted within a week even before and they blamed me saying my nails grew fast. I usually go to TOPLINE nails in Pico Rivera and I made a big mistake coming to TJ nails honestly my nails lasted 2-3 weeks maybe even 4 weeks at Topline. They made it right and said next time I’ll have to pay! Oh my goodness like there will really be a next time I would waste my money there. No thank you!

I hate the way my nails came out. I asked for coffin the woman gave me square. I pointed out that the design was crooked and she said I was wrong and then called her manager over. I paid $100 for nails that I hate. Also, the lady at the front desk is rude.

SOO GOOD! went here for the first time and got my nails done by SULLY. decided to go back a month later and got my nails done by the guy! they both did amazing, i will definitely be going back. They will do exactly what you want, no problem. and MAKE SURE to make appointments or you will have to wait some time if they are busy, but they make it worth the wait!

My first time here was amazing. The staff is super nice and friendly. I did think it was a bit expensive but I absolutely loved my nails. Austin was my nail tech and he even added shimmer to my nails and gave me 5 dollars off haha. I will definitely be coming back. It was 98 for my nails and gel pedi.

I came here on a Monday with no appointment they took me right away. I did a full set starting at $20 and a pedi$15. The girls didnt even cut me! I loved it so nice I totally recommend coming here! The girls are nice. I showed her a pic of the nails I wanted and did with gel total I paid $70 they are really clean too

The environment is super chill, and I noticed that the employees remembered several of the customers and greeted them by name as they came in. They were accommodating to my preferences as far as how I wanted my nails, and paid lots of attention to detail. They really care about doing a good job, and you can tell they are experts. My nails have never looked more beautiful and perfect!I love this place.

They up charge you. Only been there to get my nails done one time. Told the guy I will schedule for my pedicure another day. When I went for my pedicure they didnt tell you after they charge for everything separately. Spa pedicure.. No bubbles or massage chair, feet in water for 30 seconds only. Poor customer service

They did a really good job and the prices were good. I got several great referrals from two totally unrelated friends which was a really good sign. My only complaint was the wait. One guy left while I was there and I waited quite a while too.

Been here twice already and theyve done a great job both visits! They only take cash so come prepared.....Update!! Very rude when it came to my nail needing repair cuz my polish chipped within a few days and started to peel off and when I said something on a picture they posted,they deleted my comment and when I tried calling a few times, they wouldnt answer the phone! So I went down there and told them what was going on and they were talking and laughing in Chinese and it made me uncomfortable. Never went back after that

Tried TJ Nails salon today.My nail technician is friendly and nice, not too chatty, she is experienced and efficient but also very attentive to small details! No smudge or uneven edges! Layers are even with a little thickness. After removal of my old gel polish, she asked how I wanted my nails and double checked with me before continuing. Definitely will go back again!

I ended up visiting this salon since I was in Whittier for work and needed my nails done since my nail salon at home was damaged. I have to say this was an amazing experience. Everyone there is so nice, the work is impeccable and the wine served after 5 is just an added bonus!

Got my naiks done here for the first time ever. My sister recommended it for so long and tbh i was missing out. Dont double think. They do so good and care about how you nails actually end up looking!!! The shapes are everything!!!!

Best nail shop ever! Make sure to make an appointment regardless of what day youre coming. Its usually a hit or miss. Its either extremely busy, or super slow. It really just depends on the day and time you come, but I always make an appointment because I want certain people to do my nails. But in all honesty everyone who has done my nails here has done a good job.Now I am one of those really particular people who checks to make sure my polish is covering my whole nail (you know how people can miss the sides of your nails sometimes ), I look at the filing of my nails, the whole 9. I can confidently say I dont even worry about that when I come here. I just know itll be a good job. Its pricier than most places, but not by much. And Ill gladly pay the extra for the service and friendliness of everyone here. They know me by name and vise versa!

My dragon feet needed a pedicure badly! And although my fingernails were short, I still wanted them to look pretty for a weekend getaway. The owner was fantastic! He took his time smoothing over my heels and recommended the right nail color for my toes. Got a lovely French mani gel fade for my fingers and the massage for both hands and feet were perfect after a long week. Ill be back!

When in for a full sit in the front desk receptionist and I have a tell me how long for the way just told me to sign and have a seat waiting for a whole hour for her to tell me I needed to wait at 32 minutes to an hour more I called a day before prior to that to make an appointment and they told me they do not take appointments only walkins

Out of all the nail techs only 2 do acrylic nails right. Do not go with the older man he leaves them lumpy and so thick. I ended taking mine off the next day.

Good work but terrible customer service and unprofessional. The woman did not communicate how long my nails would take to dry. When I left I noticed I had accidentally smudged my nails. I went back to get them fixed and the woman was clearly upset, rude, and was being rough while she fixed them. There was also a dog in the store that kept barking. Overall, they provided a bad experience. You’re better off going to the other surrounding nail salons, don’t let the Instagram pictures fool you.

Came here to get my nails done and I decided to add jewels onto them and on the second day the jewels were already falling of. On the third day one nail fell off. I direct messaged them on insta and no response. I came here to resolve the issue and get my money back. Apparently they don’t do refunds but nowhere inside does it say that. They can only redo the nail that is broken. I told them I have things to do all they said was “you can do an appointment and come tomorrow “ I don’t have time to come tomorrow or any other day for that matter. I should not even have to come back more than twice if they would have done the job correctly.
