Lady was so kind and professional. got exactly what i asked for. very diligent and clearly cares about their customers. definitely will come again!!

I had kim as a technician. she is so lovely to work with! she was gentle with my hands, and really thorough about acrylic and paint application. she didnt skip nail prep, and was upfront about pricing. she also offered great advice for nail shape and color and to do any repairs if my nails broke without charge. my hands have always been an insecurity of mine and she made me feel a lot better about them.

We made an appointment, and unfortunately it felt very understaffed and took over three hours, for four people. Two people getting manicure and pedicures, and two people getting just manicures. I realize that the dip powder is a longer process, but I do feel a few more people on staff is necessary to be able to complete clients appointments in a timely manner. I have had my nails done many times, and most facilities are able to crank out 8-10 people in a little over an hour. Most of the staff was very personable, except for one fussy gal who seemed put off by one nail salon newbie. Overall, I would not recommend if you have anything on your schedule the rest of the day, but our nails did turn out nice.

I booked manicures and pedicures for my wedding party (10 people total) last Thursday in preparation for my wedding and I couldnt be happier with choosing Sun Nails! The staff was so inviting and added to our celebratory mood! They were professional, talented, and gave each of us their full attention without ever seeming rushed or annoyed even though it was close to closing time. They were beyond accommodating and gave us all a relaxing time with beautiful nails to show off at the wedding. Im so happy and would recommend Sun Nails to anyone!

I dont usually make reviews, but I felt the need to. I went in for a Bachelorette party two weeks ago and got acrylic gel.My first nail popped off in a little over a week, which I didnt expect since I paid $60 and it was one color. I dont go to nail salons often so I called and asked how much they charge for a replacement. The lady I spoke to did not seem like she was talking to me and was dismissing my question. I asked a second time to be clear and all she said was that I can make an appointment. I wanted to know the price before making an appointment and would have just gotten one fixed and maybe a fill at the same time. Two weeks later now, five of my nails have popped off..They did gift the bridal party a bottle of wine halfway through, which was kind, but I am disappointed my nails did not last long.

Best nail salon Ive found yet! I called to make an appointment and got in right away. Very clean and spacious salon. I was welcomed and got a great manicure. I could tell the nail tech was taking her time at perfecting my nails. She made sure I was happy with their look every step of the way. I Will definitely be coming back!

Definitely a relaxing environment and the nail techs are really friendly.They offer water, tea, and coffee!!I wanted to try something different and it was definitely worth it.I would love to come again (:

My issue with Sun Nails is that they have started to overbook appointments and not honor a clients scheduled appointment time. This has happened to me at least 3 times. Also, there are only 2 technicians and they always seemed rushed to get to all the clients. Would not recommend if you are on a schedule and want to make an appointment here.

Went in for a dip nail manicure and it was quite possibly the best dip nail experience I’ve ever had. Kim was my technician and I will be requesting her every time!! This place is extremely relaxing, professional, and efficient. Cannot wait to go back.

Sun Nails is amazing.Their prices are great, service is excellent. Im always happy when I leave. The staff are always trying to ensure Im happy with their job. Ive heard a few complaints around the holidays because they couldnt take some of the walk-ins, but I think this falls on the customer. Most people know that spas and salons get packed during the holiday season, those people plan ahead and MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! I always make my appointments with them to ensure they have time for me. On occasion they werent totally busy, and could take walk-ins. They provide a good service for a great price.I HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone. You wont be disappointed with your experience.

I had such a great time at SUN NAILS. This is going to be a new nail salon. My nails looked great, but the service was even better. You can tell that they care about their customers and are providing you w the best service. The salon was super clean and they had TONS of colors. Gel to choose from! My nails ended up being soooo cute! Thats so awesome! Highly recommend them!

I went to this salon for my first time this past weekend and it was a great experience! They were very friendly and customer service based!The woman at the front desk was very friendly, when we were paying and getting ready to leave she asked how everything went for us today. This to me was a huge surprise because I have been to many nail salons and have never been asked that!I have been trying to find a new nail salon because at my last place the woman that did my nails left and I have been trying new places and this one actually works for me! She did everything I wanted! I was very pleased!Really nice and clean environment. Great service. I love this place and the way my nails came out.I would definitely recommend this place. I originally started going here because my husband gave me a gift certificate about 18 months ago. This is the best nail salon in White Bear Lake!! It is very nicely decorated, super clean, and the service is excellent! Covid-19 has been devastating for small businesses and I pray Kim can weather the storm and is still in business on June 1st!.... not just because she is a total professional in every way, but because she is a very nice person and has worked very hard to build her business!

Best set of gels I’ve ever had! A clean, new space with friendly employees provides a good environment for a great manicure! I’ve never had a nail tech spend so much time perfecting the shape, color and thickness of my nails! If you want the perfect set, come here, but allow a little extra time for perfection :)

Went in for a fill today and got my nails, and technician did such an amazing job! He filled and shaped them exactly to what I wanted. He recommended the most perfect natural color that I have been looking for. This is the second time he did a fill for me. I definitely found my go to nail salon! Highly recommend this place!

This is one of my favorite places to come with my best. She introduced this place to me, and quickly became our hangout place. The Nail ladies are always so helpful and take care of you. You can have some champagne, hot coffee or tea while you get your pedicure. They have a variety of waxing services here, which is our go too!

Last week my entire bridal party (total 8 of us) came to#, all for manicures and pedicures. It was easy to schedule and we all were started right away. It was my first time, and my nails turned out beautifully!

Sun Nails is my favorite local pampering place. My manicurist does excellent work on both my feet and hands. I feel so relaxed when getting a pedicure. Their prices are very reasonable. I have been to many other places in town, no other place compares to Sun Nails. Just make sure to make an appointment, they are so good at what they do

I called to see if they could get me in for a pedicure-said sure-come in. I was there 10 minutes later. Got me to the chair and toes into water. A group of ladies showed up for their appointment-I continued to sit there. After sitting for 25 minutes the woman working told me that they weren’t able to do a pedicure because they forgot about 3 appointments. So I sat there. In the chair. To get cold wrinkled toes. I will not be going back. Terrible customer service!

Sun Nails is the best nail salon that I have ever visited. I had a gel powder manicure today, and my nails look amazing! Kim is a wonderful person and did a great job! I will always go to Sun Nails!

So i went to Sun Nails today and my appointment was at 2:00pm, i was there on time maybe a couple minutes early and i sat there for about 20 min. I then started getting my nails done at about 2:30pm. The lady put the tips on my nails and then left to do some other ladies nails for 30 min. Then when she started my nails again she kept looking at appointments scheduled and kinda of rushing. She then cut me and proceeded to put rubbing alcohol on my nails and it stun a lot. She then did not give me a hand and arm massage when she gave other costumers massages. She then pushed me out of the salon. I also asked for glitter and she only put one coat. I felt like the lady doing my nails wasn’t treating me the same as other costumers that come into the salon more frequently.

First time here found them through reviews and I am very pleased. I got an upgraded pedi and gel on my own nails. Both services were great. Extremely Clean. Priced well. Very welcoming and courteous.

Been coming here for some time now and every time I come the service is excellent. Hardly ever a wait time although they do have an appointment system for those that want the security of being in and out. I also dont have a specific nail tech, Ive been with them all and they are great. Ive done everything from acrylics to regular mani, gel & dip powder. Definitely worth coming!I will definitely be coming back!

There’s no point of making an appointment! Even if you do you will either be asked to come back or wait for 30 minutes to an hour!! They are very slow and don’t let them fool you by agreeing to their recommendations because my nails look hideous!!! Today was my last day! I paid $100 for a cute pedicure and hideous manicure! And they definitely over file nails to the point where my nails all hurt right now!! They are simply overrated!!!

I went to Sun Nails for the first time last night. After trying to find a nail salon still open after 7, I saw that their door was still open so I walked in. The hours on the door said they closed at 7:30 and they still saw me even though it was almost 8. The man and woman working there were EXTREMELY friendly and did not, in any way, make me feel bad about being there after hours. They were both very patient and did not rush through any part of the process. They did a fantastic job on my hands and feet and it was one of the best mani-pedis I have ever gotten if not THE BEST. Not to mention, everything was extremely clean. I cannot praise them enough and will definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks again for the wonderful experience!

Got a pedicure here the other night, and I was pretty impressed. They have these amazing back massage chairs that you can adjust . They have a wall of just OPI nail polish to pick from, and I was really happy with the results. The tools looked clean, and they give you foam flip flops so you can move to the drying station and hang out until your nails are done. ***

Sun Nails is a beautiful environment. The nail salon is brand new and you can tell the owner put a lot of work in to the place. The store is beautiful and clean. My girlfriend gets her nails done here and they always do a good job!

Definitely worth the visit, lots of chairs for customers so the wait time is limited. They take their time with everything versus pushing people through. Pedicures have a hot stone massage for all, not just the more expensive ones. Lots of options for dip or gel colors too!

So sweet from the very start! Im a VERY picky person and they made sure to exceed my expectations. (BTW I came in last min asking for a full set/pedi). Cant wait to go bad for my fill!!!

Slightly long review, but this place deserves it.I was here on vacation to visit my father and he suggested I get a mani/pedi. I dont typically get manicures or pedicures, but I figured what the heck. We drove around for a while and and spotted this place. I was a little skeptical, but I walked in anyway.I was immediately greeted with a friendly hello how can we help you. I asked if they accepted walk ins for manicures and they said yes. Wonderful women meticulously filed my nails, pushed back my cuticles, and cut every single speck of dead skin from them.Great nail place! Clean, fast and so friendly. . Definitely be back.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

Second visit: made an appointment. They ended up over booking the next two hours and multiple customers stormed out because Kim completely ignored them when asked why it’s taking so long the gel pedi and mani she gave was super thick and uneven and wouldn’t fix it when asked. I don’t know what was going on but I made my appointment a month in advance and there was no excuse for scheduling 8 other people at the same time. I understand having a bad day but that was just poor.First visit: Kim did my first ever dip manicure and they turned out great. I didn’t catch his name but a man did my pedicure and did an amazing job as well!

Came here for mani and pedis for a bridal party. We felt welcome from the moment we stepped into the salon and everyones nails turned out phenomenal! The brides mani stole the show of course. The nail tech recreated the look she picked out on Pinterest PERFECTLY.
