These guys are amazing!! Walked in there very stressed after a dealership quoted me over $4,000 worth of work. They showed me actually what was wrong, how they would fix it and the price was EXTREMELY reasonable. They dont BS you, and try to charge you for things you dont need. 10/10 will definitely be back for any car needs.

Amazing shop. I was visiting CT from out of state and was in a hit and run. My wheelchair van was inoperable with a crushed exhaust and destroyed shock absorber. The exhaust is particularly tough to get fixed since its custom. They had it back to me in less than a day. Highly recommended.

Went in for an exhaust system leaking, on my 2006 Ford Escape.Upon getting there they told me itd be about 15 minutes or so before they could get it in on a lift to be able to inspect it Correctly. After a few moments Came Back and told me what I had already known, that it was gonna need a system from the Y-Pipe Back, Long story Short. They did an excellent job with the installation, and Id definitely go back there again. They Custom build mostly everything right on site. 👌👌Job quality is great, and service was Speedy.Id definitely recommend these guys for all your Leaky exhaust system Needs. I went in for a quote on exhaust.i came out to leave and a employee blocked me in from leaving.i was in a designated parking spot that was not labeled with any type of sign for specific service.i said to the employee I was leaving and he told me that I had to wait for the customer to come out.i waited a couple minutes.i the went inside and I got the same answer from the other employee.so block a customer in from leaving and basically telling me to go f$!# myself.REALLY?! I said something to the manager after that.and he told me to relax..again REALLY..I WILL BE SURE TI TELL EVERYONE I KNOW HOW UNPROFESSIONAL THIS PLACE IS!

Called to get a price. Was told $200-250 to replace a part that cost $25 at the auto store.

Had an exhaust problem after accidentally damaging it. I had never used them before but a coworker recommended them so I made an appointment. Its about that time of year make sure youre ready for this good old unpredictable ct weather go see my boys Jay and Chris @ POPS EXHAUST & POPS TIRES awesome service and even better prices! These brothers are personable and just always deliver a family owned vibe of comfort and trust!

Called them first to have a fix done on a muffler pipe. They quoted a decent price. Another business in the area quoted me double for the same job! Their service was fast and friendly, would highly recommend. When a competitor recommends this place in lieu of offering their services, you know the job will be done right.

Called a day ahead and made an appointment for the following morning. Car was on the lift within 5 minutes of arrival. Car was assessed, service was agreed upon, and work began within 10 minutes. Work was completed in under an hour and the craftsmanship is very solid from my observations of looking under the car. They even gave me a brief overview of the status of the rest of the exhaust system and didnt try to upsell me. Honest shop that does great work with good coffee flavors in the waiting room. I will refer anyone that needs their services to them anytime.

Went here because my exhaust on my Prius was loud and I was expecting to spend a few hundred at least to fix it. $125 and Jay was extremely nice and professional and Vinnie was great when I picked it up. In and out within a few hours and they had to order a part. Very satisfied and honest job done.

Great honest service. Did a fix for a squeal I couldnt stand and then noticed a muffler problem that happened since a repair done in July. Not their fault but they gave me a discount anyway.

I had been putting off dealing with a loud exhaust leak for a few months. I wound up going to Pops without an appointment and they had me in and out in an hour at a reasonable price. Much quieter now and no more exhaust fumes odor when stopped at a red light.

Always happy with results. I started using Pops almost 7 years ago when they were located in Hartford. Now I take my vehicles to them in Wethersfield. They do the job once correctly and on time. I would recommend them to my friends.

I had such a bad exhaust leak that I actually ended up with carbon monoxide poisoning. I ended up at Pops Exhaust because its just down the road from my job. Jay took my car right in and diagnosed the problem. I cringed getting ready for the financial blow....when he told me the price I was relieved! When the car was ready I went to pick it up and by the time I got to the highway I noticed another sound. The next morning I called the shop and Jay told me to come back and he would check it out. Turns out there were more problems than we expected. Jay had my car in within 48 hours and was very fair with his price since it was my second time in that week. Now my car is running so smooth and quiet I can barely believe its the same vehicle! I am beyond grateful for this shop and I really hope they get much more business from this post since they deserve it.

My car was broke down on the highway and the tow driver recommended Pops. When I arrived they immediately assessed the situation and fixed it within the hour! My daughters 2009 Toyota Camery developed a small exhaust leak driving down to visit us from Vermont. I had my son check it out before she went back up to VT. The flange connecting the resonator/ exhaust pipe to the catalytic convert had badly rusted and was disintegrating rapidly. The resonator/exhaust pipe was in good condition except for the flange. Because the flange was dissintergrating rapidly it need to be fixed before she could safely drive back to VT. I tried Pops in weathersfield because of the good reviews I saw on the Internet.We went there without and appointment because their website said they could have you in an out within two hour without an appointment in most cases. Well, 45 minutes after bring the car in my daughter was on her way to VT at a very reasonable price with no more exhaust leak. Very friendly people and nice facility.

Came in without an appointment and Popa was able to cut and weld my exhaust from the cat to midpipe and resonator to the muffler where it was rotted/broken and leaking on my Civic. Very reasonably priced especially in comparison to having to buy a new cat-back and cat that other mechanics told me had to be replaced.In and out in about an hour! Definitely coming here again.

Had a catalytic converter replaced by another garage. There was a leak which produced excess noise and caused dash lights to come on. I took it back for a fix, However, the leak returned and this time brought it to Pops who fixed it right...lesson learned.

A while back I brought in a Jetta GLI VR6 in for a simple oil change. After bringing my car into the bay and draining the oil the techs realized their mistake.. They didnt stock the vr6 oil filter (no one does). So.. they did all they could do and just put new oil in the car without also swapping in a new filter.The thing is, that car has a filter that is located in a way that makes it impossible to verify whether or not a new one has been put in (cartridge style filter). Pops easily could have told me they changed the filter too, charged me for a full oil change, and I would have had absolutely no idea.I was thinking of honest shops and this story came to mind.. Had to share.

I had a catback on my 12 Acura TL sh-awd that was a little too loud. I ordered some ultra quiet Vibrant resonators and found these guys online and from their reviews it seems they are the best and most respected custom exhaust shop in Connecticut. Scheduling over the phone was very easy they got me in right away and the man I dealt with was extremely friendly and helpful. They got me in and out within 40 minutes. Mind you, they cut my exhaust and welded two resonators onto the existing catback pipes and they did this all within 40 minutes. Unbelievably fast, the welds are perfect and the car sounds great. I would recommend Pops to anyone looking for any type of exhaust work.
