Literal life savers! Got us off the highway, in the dark, on a bend, in Friday night traffic. After waiting 4 hours for the tow truck company that was contracted with AAA for our tow, out of desperation, I phoned Lamores. We were promised help immediately, and they had us off the higway safely in no time at all. The next day they towed our car the 2.5 hours to our home in Vermont for a reasonable price. We cant thank you enough. After calling AAA at 5pm, their tow truck driver phoned me at 8am the next morning looking for the vehicle on the highway. From horrendous, pathetic service from the AAA call centers... to fast, professional service from Lamores. Thank you so much! You guys are the best...

We had a flat tire on a rental car on the way home from vacation. Although they werent able to fix the tire, they were very nice and accommodating. Even tried to find us a used tire so we didnt have to go the rest of the way on the donut. Would definitely recommend them

I use Lamores towing several times a week to tow customers vehicles for the company I work for, they are quick, efficient, customer service oriented and they DO NOT damage cars. The drivers are friendly and experienced and it helps that a few of them are bilingual to help customers where English may be their second language. Great job keep it up!

Best mechanics around

What a joke, it upsets me that I even need to give 1 star just to leave a review. My girlfriends car was totaled, and junked with Lamores. I had asked if they could take off the tires since they were new snow tires and no damage. They told me they could which was great. Called and asked if they were ready to pick up and they said they were at their other shop, and if could pick them up at 3 PM, that was fine and told them Id be there. I arrived at around 2:55 PM and asked, and was told they werent there yet. The guy at the desk said well we told you 3 PM... before looking at the clock and realizing it was 5 minutes to 3 PM. He then stated hed get someone to go get them and to give them another hour. I then came back around 4:05 PM and was told they werent back yet with the tires. I was told by the woman at the desk to go to their lot across the street and down the hill, and I would have someone meet me in 5 minutes. I drove across the street, 20 minutes go by and no one has shown up, I call back and they tell me no I needed to be at their lot behind the shop itself. When I got back to the shop the woman said someone went their and didnt see me and assumed I left. The guy who did then comes out and tells me, yeah it was too congested so I brought them here. He pointed me to where he parked the truck and told me to just take the tires out myself. Horrible service, no one had any clue what was going on, and no communication with me whatsoever. Will absolutely never use them for any service in the future.

I dont know what Id do without these guys! Now that my beloved Beetle is pushing 20 years old (!!!) theres always some issue that needs to be addressed, and I know shes in good hands at Lamores! In addition to taking such good care of my car, theyve really gone out of their way for me, as well. Jim and Mike have driven me around the corner to work more times than I can count, and they recently saved the day by providing me with a loner car while my bug was an overnight patient. I wouldnt go to anyone else and Id recommend them to anyone! :)

I had broken down on the highway and gave them a call for a tow. Estimated wait time was an hour because everyone was out on other calls, totally understandable. The tow truck was there just shy of an hour and was polite and efficient. I had the shop look at the car as well and it turned out to be something not worth fixing (close to $3,000 worth of repairs likely needed.) It was an old Honda accord that was on its way out anyway, so I decided to part ways with it. I had maybe around $180 in service/tow fees which Mike waived in exchange for the title to the car. I was satisfied since I knew I wouldnt get much more than that elsewhere for a car that wouldnt drive. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, patient, and upfront. They even took the plates off my car for me as I cleaned out my car. Thank you for making an unpleasant situation much easier!!

I have that with Lamores for a very long time I own a small garage in the north in the Hartford they are my go to when I need a tow and they are always very prompt always have a truck available if not they are not too far out Todd and Pedro are great people and I highly recommend them anytime

I drive a semi truck hauling golf carts to golf courses. I have a storage box under the trailer that we load golf carts in. After unloading the new carts and loading the trade ins me ramps wouldnt raise up. I was referred to Lamores by a competitor because they couldnt help. After telling them what I needed he said someone would be there in 20 to 30 minutes which I thought was great. Guy showed up within 25 minutes and got me up going. If I ever need a tow or service call in this area again theyll be my first call next time. Thanks guys

My car has been serviced here several times. Even when I thought the bill was going to be extremely high (due to the maintenance that was required) I was pleasantly surprised when my bill was less than what was originally quoted. I know car repair places have a bad reputation when it comes to overpriced repairs, but this place doesnt seem to be out to get you. I have always been hesitant when it comes to car repair shops, but Lamores has slowly earned my trust. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a car checkup or a heavy-duty maintenance issue.

Had my mothers car there since last year in December of 2016. They told me they would look at it and give me a call the next day. No call. I called a week later they told me give them a week and theyll look at it. So I Gave them a week and then called again and they literally said the same thing for almost two months week after week. So my mother got tired of waiting and went to speak to them in person and asked for the boss. The boss told her he had no idea the car was even there. The manager and employees were lying to us and never told their boss (the guy who was supposed to look at it) our car was even there. Stay away from this auto service shop. Thats the best advice I can give anyone. Worst customer service ever.

They tried to over price me just to put a tire on my own rim and put it on my car they wanted to charge me $70 I went to a couple of other places before I stopped there the highest I was priced before I stopped at the gulf was $40 I thought he was joking so I tell him doesent he think thats a little high, he tells me if I dont like it to go some were else VERY RUDE, you will do better anywhere else..........

Lamores has always treated our familys cars well, through many vehicles over the years. Jim and his sons tell it like it is, they are accurate with estimations and wait time, I feel they truly listen to what the customers concerns are, and provide expert, efficient and reasonable service.

My car battery died 3 miles down the road on a rainy day they told me it would take 1 hour to reach me and cost 50 just for a jump, thats insane i just flagged some down in rain. smh
