It’s rare I get the right review for a company and have outstanding things to say. I have to say that these mechanics we’re amazing. I brought my Nissan rogue in for an oil change and have them look at a sound it was making. They had it diagnosed in no time and gave me a professional and detailed list of what was going wrong. Made the repairs for an amazing price. And returned it to me before expecting it. They promised me good and delivered great. Thank you to the entire crew. I am now and will continue to recommend your company.

One of the tires on my work car was very low this morning. Went to Good Year and they were very honest about the wait time. Which turned out to be very short. They found a small nail in the tire and were able to repair it and get me back on the road in a very reasonable amount of time. The office staff including the manager were very pleasant and professional. Would definitely recommend this Good Year!!!!

Easy to schedule an appointment. Work was completed before they said it would be (new tires and alignment). Very friendly staff who clarified all my questions without trying to upsell me. Highly recommend.

2 hours to replace 4 tires. Not bad some places take up to 4 hrs. Buying options were limited to the set i got or nothing at all it seemed because i didnt make an appointment but walk-ins are welcome? Road hazard was automatically added to the already very pricy bill(thought this was optional). Went in with 4 black valve caps came out with 3 black and 1 grey? Valves stems never got replaced even though they are stripped and corroded. Rims were dirty when it went in but came out with very visible handprints. Takes 1 second to wipe off...Not sure if im going back yet or not. And the rebate isnt even a percentage of the cost . A 2% rebate....thanks multi-billion dollar goodyear.

Brought my truck here for an alignment. When I left the steering wheel was not centered as it was before I brought it in so I had to make another appointment the next week for them to correct it. Brought the truck back and was sent out again with the same issue not resolved at all. Made another appointment and the third try it’s a little better but still not straight. They say they test drive the vehicles but there’s absolutely no way. How can you send a vehicle back to a customer as fixed with the same issue over and over and over again? My advice is bring your vehicle somewhere else, these guys have no clue what their doing.

Bought 2 tires at the West Hartford location in September. Usually get my tires from Costco but they didnt have my tires in stock and needed the car fixed asap. They could also do the alignment which Costco does not do. My husband bought the warranty because it seemed like a good deal. Fast forward to this morning, I called the wethersfield location since they are right up the street to fix a nail in the tire. I spoke to Dennis who was very polite and checked to make sure they could take care of it rather then driving back to West Hartford. I sent my daughter since I figured it was an easy patch. The nail was in the middle of the tire so thinking it would just be a quick patch and shed be on her way. Nope, she was told the tire needed to be replaced and it was going to cost about $50. I told my husband and he got on the phone with West Hartford since thats where the warranty was bought. They told us to bring the car down there. There were a few phone calls between my husband and both locations. The GM in Wethersfield was very rude to him and hung up. The West Hartford GM was patient and took the time to understand the frustration. If Im buying a warranty and told if I have to replace the tire there is no cost but when it comes time to have to replace the tire Im being charged of course we are going to be irritated. We told Wethersfield location to put the tire back on and we were going to west Hartford. They brought the car into the parking lot and told my daughter they patched it so no need to go anywhere else. We brought it to West Hartford to have a look to make sure.Completely unethical! They tried to take advantage of my daughter telling her the tire had to be replaced to make money when it really needed a patch. The nail wasnt on the sides of the tire, almost dead center. Its disheartening that a company would do this. I wouldnt recommend Goodyear at all because their warranty is less than seller but if you do, go to West Hartford where they are honest.

Fantastic experience. Brian the service manager is highly qualified, honest and very friendly. The work was done to perfection. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this location for all of your automotive needs. But unlike the negative reviews below, dont expect good works done cheaply and quickly. Good work takes time and isnt cheap.

As a repeat customer I can tell you that you will not find a better place. The staff is extremely attentive, and helpful. They are quick and offer very reasonable prices. I have never had any issues with anything Ive purchased. The place is very clean, and has a comfortable waiting area where you can watch TV, and enjoy complimentary bottled water and coffee. I highly recommend this particular Goodyear in Wethersfield. They go above and beyond to make you completely happy.

Very reasonable prices my Stepdad has been going here for 20+ years. He paid for 2 new tires for my car, and a a front end alignment. The manager was very knowledgeable and the technicians were fast, and effective!! I will be going here from now on.

I have been bringing my 18 year old car to this location since 2014 after I got fed up with another mechanic. They always do good work and more often than not can have my car back within the same day even if I did not make an appointment. The service hours and prices are better then most dealerships and the staff at Goodyear stand behind their work. Much of the parts and labor are warrantied as well. I have never been pressured into having work done that was unnecessary. When something needed to be done that was outside of their area of expertise, they arranged for my car to be taken care of at a dealership with minimal inconvenience. If you are looking for convenience and quality work from a reputable business, this place is for you!

Just started going here a few months ago with two of our cars and very happy with service and work. I will continue to go. They answer all questions and stand by their work.

So upset went there because they are close to home and my car continuously was stalling with my infant in the car. I went there 3 times and they kept telling me there was no problem with my car they couldnt find anything. They clearly never even took the time to open the hood. I no nothing about cars and once i popped the hood my entire was corroded. After going to another mechanic there were tons of obvious problems. They clearly only plugged it into the machine and couldnt take the time to actually look at my car. They told me to just bring it back if it happens again come to find out my car was close to catching fire. Im disgusting and disappointed in their lack of effort. I would never go here again for anything.

I go there for my oil changes when I suspect something else with my car is wrong (2002 Passat 1.8T with 130k)....they do a great run around your car for the money and will recommend only NECESSARY repairs. The front people are always courteous and timely. Mechanics are on top of things and always look beyond the oil change. The only problem it is a bit out of the way for me, but I will make an effort to drive there every few of months...they have done all my big repairs (tie rod & control arm replacements), I got tires from them. Not a worry in the world.

So I thought I was getting a good deal on 2 tires for my AWD SUV back in December. They were $10 cheaper than Town Fair Tires but they were able to take me right away and Town Fair didnt have the tires in stock. Fast forward about 5,000 miles and I ran over a nail. Of course, it was too close to the edge repair.....always is. I said fine than just prorate this one and get me a new one. Oh sorry, you dont have road hazard thats extra. Town Fair includes road side hazard in every tire purchase, lifetime. And not sure why you were sold different brand tires than whats on the back as this is AWD and they need to be the same. We need to sell you 3 new tires today! Your previous salesperson never told me that. I bought one and they charged me $45 for installation and $5 for my old tire.......expensive lesson. #neveragain

I asked if they can quickly clean the air intake and mass air flow sensor & bozo the clown said haha thats not something you can do quickly, when do you wanna bring it in? Long story short... I did it myself and the car is better than ever. I wont ever go here.. They seem like they are desperate for money.

I liked this place up until my last visit. I got my oil changed and they took a look at my brake fluid to see if I needed a flush. Three rainy days later Im jump starting my other truck and notice brake fluid had spilt out because they forgot to put the cap on. I guess Im gonna have to get my brake lines flushed now, but I dont think I will be going back. Oh they did replace the cap.

Excellent honest service, fair pricing, nice waiting area and wifi. My car needed an alignment. First I went to the local Chrysler dealer. They told me I needed new tie rods for $750.00. Not trusting them I called my regular shop, Eds Automotive in Ellington, CT for advice. Ed recommended Goodyear in Wethersfield, CT. They told me my brake pads were worn dangerously thin. I called my mechanic for a second price and opinion, turns out they were completely fine. The repair would have cost almost $500, less at the more reputable place. They are liars, I went for an oil change and they tried to cheat me.In conclusion, go anywhere else.
