BEWARE STAY CLEARI USUALLY DRIVE ALL THE WAY TO TROY OR SHELBY-TOWNSHIP BECAUSE FOR PROFESSIONALISM AND NEATNESS BUT TODAY I TRIED THIS NAIL SALON....Literally rushed through my nails....As you can see it’s still dead skin on my toes....Nails was filed slanted and they literally cut a chunk off my toe nail and their only response was she didn’t see her do it so all she can do is try to fix it... because shellac sometimes weaken the nail causing it to break....And she continuously accused me of breaking my own nail after I told her the lady filed my prior shellac off and they aren’t suppose to do that shellac is to be removed with solution... she got upset and just polished my nails and told me I had to move and pay for my services.....I will NEVER EVER RETURN HEREAND IF YOUD LIKE TO SPARE YOURSELF FROM BEINN INCONVENIENCED ID SUGGEST YOU PAST THIS ONE TOO.... it’s a great nail shop 0.5 miles called NORTHWEST NAILS AND THEY ARE BEYOND AMAZING AND PROFESSIONAL

I had an eye brow arch done and indicated some unhappiness with the arching but open for correction. Instead of being welcomed with understanding of what my concern was I was approached with nastiness communication in front of other clients about do I want them thin, thick, or am I going to let her do her job. There was no understanding as a customer but this rude and unwelcoming communication about being right instead of trying to see how you can make the customer service better. I truly didn’t understand this approach or behavior as I had visited this place of business on several occasions before with no problem and truly liked the way my eyebrows were done. I guess I learned that day that everything is ok as long as you don’t question the service your paying for even if your unhappy or dissatisfied. Really disappointed as I felt they did a good job and I had a good experience outside of this one isolated incident which I felt was handled very unprofessional and rude. I am hoping they will make changes moving forward with other customers.

I’ve never written a review on something but I was in complete shock. My pedicure was done in 15 minutes. The towels they used on my friends leg was covered in bleach. The workers were very rude. They ripped my hang nail off & started to bleed. At the end I gave her my money to pay and she kept my change and when I asked for it back she completely ignored me. & to top it off they were selling half used nail polish by the drying station which is disgusting & against health & sanitary protocols. Worst service I’ve had done.

The service was terrible. There was miscommunication. I asked for a pedi and shellac on nails they started a manicure on my nails and I told her I did not ask for a manicure. She stopped in the middle of it and started putting shellac on my nails, everything was uneven, and paint was all over my fingers. I asked her to fix these things and she just kept rushing through. After, the owner over heard how unhappy I was and was re-did them for me. I got ready to leave and she actually charged me on top of what I already paid the other lady. I was very surprised and thought she was willing to fix them for me out of generosity since one of her workers messed them up. Definitely not coming back. No hospitality or generosity.

I have been coming here for over 5 years. A few weeks ago i listened as the owner berated a client. The entire nail salon was quiet and were were ALL uncomfortable. The client repeatedly tried to calm the owner down and get her to lower her tone but she persisted. The client was respectfully* pointing out something she did like about her nails and the owner went off. I was so surprised to see Suzy(owner) behave like that towards a paying customer. I hate to even write a review like this but I feel awful about how she was treated. At one point you could see the embarrassment in the clients face, I was so shocked.My nails are usually done just fine and they are quick… but I’ll be looking for a new place pretty soon.Oh they also raised their prices and when I asked why they said “because we were the cheapest around, so we raised them”They are not the cheapest around I have lived in Westland for over 14 years. That’s also a poor excuse to raise prices coupling with the fact they had just raised them after COVID guidelines relaxed and everything opened back up.

I went recently to get my nails and toes done. The workers lately have had HORRIBLE attitudes the last two times i’ve been there. Always fighting with customers and just are not nice anymore. I used to love going here but they will no longer receive mine or my families business.

A lot of miscommunication. I went in for a white tip pedicure. The nail tech ended up polishing all my toes white. Then had the audacity to tell me white looks better and white tip cost more. Its not what you want its what I want.but the white did come out nice. I got compliments and all. As the nail tech was getting the dead skin off my foot my leg tends to fatigue due to a stroke I had. I guess I should of informed her I had a stroke. That was first time experience. I might give this place another try.

Always a fantastic job. Lou is my go to for nails. He is the best! I always leave satisfied. The whole team is excellent for pedicures. Great massage chairs, friendly staff and excellent prices!

I called ahead to ask if there was a wait time and I was told no it wasnt. I pulled up 4mins later and it was now told to me that it is now a 20min wait. I ended up waiting for 1hr in COLD water for my Pedicure. I wanted square shape toenails and NOT TO BE CUT DOWN. My toenails are Rounded and were Cut and Filed down against my request. I didnt even get my feet buffed or scrubbed the way they should have. I left worse than I came in. The 1star was just for Friendliness. I will never refer anyone here

Wouldn’t recommend at all. high cost and my manicure lasted less than 5 days before I lost 3 nails. I didn’t do anything to damage them, they just came right off. very disappointed. staff was unprofessional and rude. no one wants to hear about your colonoscopy.

Do not use this business. They are not clean. What they are passing off as a manicure is a joke. Pedicure was terrible. Ive done better at home. She didnt even paint my nails to the cuticle. Looks like I need a fill in already the same day. They didnt clean instruments in between customers. When done with manicure a worker got up and threw the water out the front door on the sidewalk. The lady doing my manicure cleaned the skin from the clipper and flicked it on the ground beside her. They barely cleaned the foot spa when your finished. And they were over priced. People with appts. Waited over 30min to be seen. Dont waste your time or money.

Wife is bossy, loud and sarcastic, they Only like the regulars.. Wife and husband share experiences about other customers with regular clientele..I heard them, SMH..I just ask to fix a broken nail, husband stated you been here before, and they spoke in their language.. They made me wait, one lady came and looked at my nail and serviced someone..I doubt if I return…After being harassed if I am a customer and wife poor customer skills with the unfamiliar clients,I will not return to this nail salon even,If it is was the last nail salon on earth.. Word of advice, you never know what people are going through, coming to a nail salon or services like yours is not only to be beautify the external self but today I broke nail my helping someone who was in a domestic violence situation.. Please tone it down with all the questions why someone is there or if they have been to ur salon before.. It is not cute or professional for ur wife to be loud expressing herself in front of clients. Well I wanted Shellac on my nails. As soon as I get home one whole nail has a dip in it and one even 12 hours later my other nail has a chip in it... would not recommend going back... specially to pay for your nails to be ruined when you’re leaving and chipping the next day... ohh and I was rushed because it was closing time.... would never go back, very disappointed..

I wouldn’t say this is a relaxing pedicure by any means. I had a older man who was rough and I felt he was rushed but I’m not sure why because NO one else is in here. Instead of a nail buffer he buffed with a nail file and not just my nail but my cuticle too and it was not the most comfortable. Also, who lotions your feet/legs right out of the water and THEN rinses it off?? It was just not a great experience for my first time here. The paint looked pretty good but I would of appreciated a more relaxing and not rushed pedicure.

They are very clean. Treat you very special. Very good at keeping you safe due to covid 19. Would recommend.

I have been getting my nails done for the last 20 years. When I find a great place, I stick with it unless ownership changes and quality declines. Ive been going here for the last 8 months and I will continue as long as theyre there! Great service! Gel nails last 3 weeks and pedicures are amazing! Have seen a few different techs, and Susie and her husband are wonderful. Prices are competitive for the area and the quality is very good. Staff is always friendly. The bad reviews must be by people that mistake language barrier for rudeness. My photo was my gel nails that were done almost 2 weeks ago, and they still look great. Dont let the bad reviews sway you from this great salon! 5+stars!

When I lived in Michigan I would come here all the time the only place I would go was here. So when I was in town visiting my gel polish had chipped and need to get it fixed. This was the first time I had been here in 5 years. The lady that did my gel polish was blind I think. I had to keep asking her to get the polish off my skin. The top coat doesnt even cover the polish. I had to go buy a nail file and acetone remover afterward to fix my polish. There was nothing I could do about the top coat. After she finished painting my nails she proceeded to put cuticle oil all over my arms and hands?! While Im wearing my watch and rings?!!! Who does that? I guess I will be spending another 50 dollars when I get back to Chicago to get this horrible manicure redone. It looks like a 5 year old did them, Im astounded that someone would give this lady a license to do nails. Never will I ever return here. Save yourself the frustration of getting your nails done here not worth a penny seriously.

I just read all of the reviews written here and, please let me add my own. I am a loyal customer at this salon and I must tell you all why. I have been going to these professional, talented techs for over 15 years. When I am in Miami and Orlando I am never as satisfied as I am at this clean, well appointed salon. I do prefer an appointment and am on time. My needs are listened to and the results are very fine. I would never ever expect to enter ANY establishment, ten minutes before closing, and expect a lengthy list of services. Rudeness is very difficult to deal with and over the years I have heard some very rude people in that salon- and they were not technicians. Be respectful and you will be treated with respect. You’ll see the same rude individuals in your grocery store- taking their anger out on the poor employees.

I always see the owner Susie or her brother Tan and theyre both great at what they do! I drive here from Belleville and its well worth the drive! & during Covid theyve followed guidlines making me feel comfortable visiting the salon!

This is and always has been the only salon I will go to. Tan and all the other nail technicians are amazing with everything they offer. This is the only place to go in town.

HORRIBLE PLACE! RUDE OWNER! My teenage daughter begged me to let her get fake nails for a class trip. I agreed, the sign on the window said 19.99 for a full set, I told her to get a pedicure as well. I waited and when she was done she said she needed 10.00 more dollars. When I questioned the EXTREMELY RUDE owner, she said the nails were 40.00, pedicure, 20.00. When I asked why the nails were double the window price, she started yelling at us in front of the other customers, said the manicurist told her that he was putting gel on them, my daughter said no, he did not. The owner continued to yell at us, I told her to stop, my daughter was mortified! I have never been to such a horrible place .I told the owner it was a rip-off and she yelled at us again. Please do not patronize such a terrible place. Im reporting them to the state licensing board. Read all the horrible reviews!! 😟

This place is quite popular, always busy. Prices are decent but expect to wait. Sometimes service is not as good as other times- it depends on who you get.

This place is a 30 minute drive from me, & its well worth the drive! The owner Susie is awesome & upbeat, and the atmosphere is great! Both times Ive gone my nails were exactly what I wanted. 2 different people have done my nails, & they both took their time and made sure they were done right. I also got my eyebrows waxed, & both times they looked great! I cant say enough good things about them!! Keep up the great work, it does not go unnoticed!

Went there once and my eyebrows were great. Came a second time and they weren’t as good as the first time. They wouldn’t allow me to push my sleeping baby next me who I got my eyebrows done. Told me to leave her at the door! I wanted her to fix my eyebrows more but I was too nervous that something could happen with my daughter having to stay by the door ALONE. So I jest payed and left. But before I left I noticed that she charged me an automatic $10 even tho I know I only payed 7 last time... I looked at the price board. And the price says $7 dollars!!!! Who are they to automatically include their own tip without my permission! I’m unhappy

Bad experiences at this particular location. My first time here I witnessed two employees having an attire conversation in their language while one of the employees was doing my nails. I was trying to give here directions on how I wanted my nails and they both did not acknowledge my request, I had to wait until they were done with their conversation. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE........The second experience is that I arrived at 7:42, they closed at 8. I went right up to the counter to pick out my colors, not looking for more than two minutes, I hear a voice shout at me to hurry up they are closed. I found this very disrespectful for a customer to be screamed at and rushed at the same time. I arrived before 8, so I expected to be treated like the other customers. However, they do a good job on your nails, but the staff is very, very rude and tend to think its okay to argue with customers. There are too many nails techs around to go here and be mistreated and disrespected. I refuse to pay my money to anyone who doesnt appreciate my business.

I was a regular customer. Tina is the most professional nail technician at that nail salon. Very friendly and polite bedside manor. So is her daughter Cammy. Tinas other daughter was rude and impolite towards me today when I was attempting to ask her mother if the salon use the metal foot scraper and then the owner Susie jumped in the conversation extremely loud, embarrassing me in front of the other customers about the state board dont allow use of the metal foot scrapers, if people complain about their feet not being smooth they can leave and scrub their own feet. Susie was extremely rude and unprofessional as a business owner. I was telling Tina to do the Deluxe Pedicure and also that everything that her boss just did wasnt necessary. Her daughter jumped in my conversation thinking I was talking about her and I wasnt saying she was telling me she didnt understand what you were saying. Tina just mediated, gave me a great manicure and pedicure and I was glad to leave. Im pretty sure I will not return anytime soon .

DO NOT GO HERE!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MY NAILS LOOKED HORRIBLE!!!!! COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!!!!! The owner sue did my nails and she was very rude to me! I went 2 hrs before they were suppose to close... they had to waiting 45 minutes even when I told them I needed to soak off my nails off for a full set. She clearly was rushing and instead of letting my nails completely soak off she started pulling off my acrylic which was very painful. When I mentioned it hurt she stated “You’re making me not want to do your nails”. She also put wayyyy too much acrylic on my nails which made themlook very wide and flat. When I mentioned them looking wide she got smart with me again. Total waste of money! Two days later I went to LILY’S (On Plymouth Rd in Livonia) to get my nails redone and they did a WONDERFUL JOB AND HAD EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I have been going here since December of 2017. I have never made an appointment. Im usually there right as they open. Sometime I wait a little because the older woman who opens only does manicures and pedicures (she is not comfortable with doing full sets and fills because of a language barrier and Im ok with that). If I wait more than an hour Susie makes sure to take a few dollars off for my wait because she says I am very patient and polite. I have never had a bad experience and I find Susie funny. She has a sinse of humor that matches mine. If you find humor rude, go somewhere else. Ive had my nails done by almost every person in there and never had a problem. They are gentle too. The previous place I went to ( the one on the corner of Ford and Wayne), it felt like they were burning a hole through my finger nail when they would file. Here, I dont have that problem.I love this place. And Im going back today!

I use to be a loyal customer. I use to come in every two weeks because they were up the street. This establishment needs to get put out of business. I cannot believe I spent my money coming here. Best shellac manicure ever! You may have varying experiences based on your tech, but I have learned to be firm about what YOU want. Just about every salon has someone that tries things, but so far I have not had any issues here. Pedicure is great too, but the spa pedicure is what you want if you really want all your callouses removed.

Tic TacNails is not expensive and they do a good job having said that I will definitely go back.

This place is a disaster. Glue, polish and acrylic ALL over mine and my daughters fingers. Painted over lumps and fuzz. Nails are all different shapes and sizes despite asking multiple times for them to correct the problems.Well NEVER return.

I have been going to them for about 4 years and today is my the last time going here. A few of my nails were broken and I wanted to cut them down so that they could grow back. Instead they argued with me about gluing them back together instead. In addition, the guy was about to put the wrong color on my hands and when I told him he snatched up the polish and stormed away. I have been a faithful customer for years and I’m completely done with them after this incident. They also charge $1 fee to use your debit card which is ridiculous. Through the years I have seen them be rude to other customers but not to me however, today was the last straw. Spend your money elsewhere!

The owner is RUDE!!!! I got my nails done at this place less than a week ago all my nails are lifting and I broke one. I go in to have it repaired and she wants to explain how I exceeded the 3 day time frame so I have to pay when I just need her to repair the broken nail. Horrible customer service I will never return! My daughter is upset because she like the Guy Tan he’s awesome but we cannot spend money in an establishment that doesn’t value our business!!

Ive went here a few times and the only, ONLY time, I was satisfied was when Suzie did my nails. Every other time, my nails lifted, shellac was lumpy, just terrible. I went with my friend and they were so rude to her when she had to come back because one of her tips lifted right after walking out of there. Dont waste your money.

So I just visited this place today 7-19-16 I got a full set with gel and shaloc plus a design. I just left and they are not rude at all! I read these reviews and I was very upset. Im a regularly customer and they always treat me well and offer suggestions if Im lost. They provide a clean environment and great work!! No with that being said ive seen people come and and ask for a lot but they want to pay less these people have lives and family to feed! Racist owner!!My mother who has been a long time customer and 5 year old daughter were visiting the store last week (7-1-2015) Several nail technicians noticed my daughter looked a little Asian and my mother happily and quickly pointed out that my daughters mother is Korean. No harm, no foul, this happens a lot and she never thought twice about the question.....BUT then when they were leaving the store, the stores owner bent over and asked my daughter if shes Korean and asked Do you eat dogs? My daughter had a look of confusion, as she has several dogs in the family she plays with.Racism on any level, from any race, is wrong.. please think twice about ever visiting this store..I take pride in my google reviews, and I am an active user on G+. First time going here and I wasnt happy with the service I received at all. I got a pedicure and a manicure with shellac. The lady that did my nails was older, she put a hole through my thumb nail, did a horrible job at giving me white tips and shed constantly yank my hand back and forth and aggressively push my fingers down.The place seemed clean.But I will definitely not be returning because of the poor service I had.
