We had a FedEx driver drop off. We didnt answer the door since we knew the package would be left. I looked at doorbell camera after and he smiled and waved hello and goodbye. It was a good start to the day seeing such a pleasant person. Im going to try and track down the truck so I could let his supervisor know what a good employee he has. Its really the small things in life that make a day.
Don’t call. It’s the National number with an automated system that doesn’t help and after 10 minutes you finally get to a live person who doesn’t understand anything except “here is my tracking number.” So they can’t answer “Is it possible to overnight my dad’s prescription from here to California and have it arrive even with the Labor Day holiday.” That’s not part of their scripted conversations. Try UPS instead.
I only have great things to say about this location, I can ship my live animals to and from, without them telling me that I cant, which Im not sure why they would do that. Kind of odd that this location is the only one that allows live animals to be shipped and delivered but, oh well. The staff is generally upbeat, friendly and always helps me figure out where my package(s) are. Will always be going to this FedEx ship center for live animals when Im in the Salt Lake valley.I know my review doesnt necessarily pertain to general shipping, but I dont really do that, my packages are held for pick-up, which this location offers, and I take full advantage of that feature, for very good reasons.10/10, will continue to do business with them, and FedEx as a whole.
Delivery driver rang door bell and turned around and left, didnt even wait 5 seconds for me to answer the door. I understand it was raining but bad weather is in the job description and 30 seconds wouldnt have hurt.
Ordered next day priority shipping. Shipping shows it got to Salt Lake and then 4 hours later it still didnt leave there. Now I have to try a figure out tomorrow where my package is at.

This Facility is supposed to accept GROUND Pickup till 7 PM. However I was there at 6:26 PM and was told that the Ground Truck had already left the facility. So my package sat there for the whole weekend. IF YOU SAY 7 PM it should be 7PM . #UseUPS
Called customer service for a package which was lost but stated as delivered on Fedex website. Fedex customer service told me that Fedex Utah terminal has been known as lost packages, wrong deliveries etc..just find a different shipping company.
Second time in a row I asked to have a package held at the facility. And both times the driver didn’t stop my package and continued into delivery. Waisted lots of time driving to and from the faculty and missed my package both times. Please come up with a better way to treat cases to have packages held.
I assummed they would have a much larger option of boxes to pack just about any item and would offer assistance with packing my item. The associates behind the counter showed me to the self parking area. When I asked for a roll of tape the roll they gave me had maybe a foot of tape left. My package didnt fit. I walked away very unsatisfied.

Package got there safe but the girl helping me there really didnt help me much plus she saw me struggling to close the box i was sending and didnt even offer to help me at all didnt even moved a finger i will never send out anything at this particular one i went to 👎i had better experience at other FedEx i used before but will have to drive further but it will be worthed.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I had a very important letter delivered. Instead of delivering it to my mail box they walked 10 feet past it and THREW it in the yard that has a sign that says BEWARE OF DOGS. WILL DESTROY PACKAGES. Dogs destroyed the letter that had a check attached. The level of disrespect that the drivers have for the people they deliver to is explicitly terrible.

We received our package when we were supposed to, but it was an iwatch, and was supposed to be signed for. It was being delivered to my husband, who was working when it was delivered. They just put it on my front porch and left. They didn’t knock, ring the doorbell, or anything. I happened to see them, so I went out to get it. Then my husband got a notification saying it was signed for with his first initial and last name. He knew I wouldn’t sign that, so he asked me. No, I didn’t sign for it. How could I? They put the package down and left. THEY SIGNED FOR IT!! We did not! IF FEDEX EMPLOYEES ARE SIGNING FOR DELIVERIES, THEY NEED TO BE FIRED!!! I have called, but have not been able to talk to a real person. I now do not trust FEDEX to do their job.

Four boxes have been delivered completely destroyed to our doorstep. They tape it together haphazardly and provide no documentation as to when and why it is destroyed. They do not knock when they deliver making it impossible to refuse the delivery and instead have to go through a shipper to get a return label and then schedule a separate delivery. I have called to share this experience and no changes - asking shipper to use a different company from now forward.
I dont understand why I have to pick up my package from the facility when I couldve gotten it at my doorstep. I got a notification saying that my package was attempted for delivery and I was sitting in my living room waiting on it. Nobody knocked on my door. Lets just say Im disappointed.
Worthless company, 3 failed deliveries, what a joke of a company, maybe take a note from usps or ups cause fedex is hardly a legit company anymore. Really appalling, and good luck getting someone on the phone who is actually interested in resolving the situation.

I was in and out very quickly. The building is a little out of a normal location, but it is still easy to find. Friendly staff and packages get scanned so you can start your tracking right away.
The person at the desk helped me out with a friendly smile. 100% do recommend.
I needed to have a package picked up which had been mis-delivered. After finally getting an associate, I explained the problem, he looked up the tracking number, and said it would be picked up Tuesday, which was a three-day weekend away. As I noticed on the label it had a two business days delivery on it, I said I thought the person would probably be anxious to get it, and said if it didnt get picked up that day, which was Friday, Id just go drive it up the few blocks away. He then said Oh, okay, well, Ill make sure it gets picked up today then. Why would he not offer that the first go around? Im sure he saw the 2 day delivery request, and it was their fault it wouldnt make it there on time ... I dont get it. I hate it when people have to be shown how to do their job the right way. Theyre in the delivery business in the first place. Anyway, the package was picked up within the hour.

EXCELLENT SERVICE, and I wasnt expecting it. I needed to pick up a wedding ring for a groom, for his wedding I was attending and missed the pickup. I had a plane to catch and was stressed. I didnt wish to show up without the ring. I was earlier than I was supposed to be but the guy at the desk was helpful, friendly and fast. His great attitude melted my stress and he got the ring for me so I arrived with it in hand. Whew! Wedding duties done.
Zero stars if I could. This place has the worst customer service ever. Front desk takes their jolly time even with a backup of customers in line and they’re rude AF. This is not the first time I’ve had issues with FedEx - if I could choose carriers I would never choose FedEx. Worst. Service. There needs to be a lower rating possible. Fedex is the worst shipper to deal with. They will not give you a way to contact them directly. My delivery driver consistently drives right pass my business without stopping and send it back to warehouse. Always lies and says he stopped. Avoid using this company at all cost. In 2.5 years I have missed 80% of my deliveries. Please not business with any company who uses Fedex.
This location has some very stuck up and rude front side employees. Many of times I have brought our business here, sometimes 30 boxes, and they act like it is going to kill them to do their job. They also claim that you can only drop off a handful of ground packages there even if the truck for ground is there loading up. They will send you to the hub which can not accept packages properly. Honestly the only reason I use this location still is it is on my way home from work.

Never saw such sloppy delivery work. I sent a package to my sister in Salt Lake City, watched it via the handy Fed Ex tracking tool move from the Bronx to Newark to Memphis to Salt Lake, get within a mile of its destination, and then saw it marked “Delivered” and signed by someone I never heard of. Apparently went to the wrong address. I reported it missing, Fed Ex opened a case. Later Fed Ex called and said another driver picked it up but they can’t find the other driver. Nor the package. Later still, the tracking tool said it went from West Valley to Salt Lake then, inexplicably, out to Oakland and back to West Valley the same night. Why? Who knows. Who knows where this package really is? Not Fed Ex. Expected delivery date? Oh, in a few days. My sister went and planted herself at the West Valley center until the package was found, and it was: buried under a heap of other packages. O happy days. Not good enough--absolutely, positively not.

The lady at the front counter glared at me when I walked in the door and had an attitude with everyone. I asked if she could tape my label on for me since I didn’t have any at home and gave me an attitude and said well we don’t normally do that! Charm school would be a good investment for her and them. I will go to ups any day before them!
FedEx has become the laziest shipping company in the world. Their drivers wont get out of their trucks and you are forced to do their jobs and complete the last mile of delivery yourself by going to one of their stations. I would rather deal with anyone but FedEx.

WARNING! They do not have a printer for customer use, let me be clear they do have a printer in there but if you came thinking you can just have your label printed and slapped on a box you are sorely mistaken. Worst idea ever Fedex.

I realize it’s Christmas and EVERYONE is shipping stuff, but why has my package been circling Salt Lake City for a week?
We had a package that was to be picked up at 8:00am. I didnt know that they didnt open till 8:30 till I got there. I was able to talk to one of the workers as he was walking into work, and they let me get the package out early. Very helpful and workable. Grateful that they let us get the package early.
I dont know what world you live in where it makes sense to try to deliver a package, that requires a person be home, to a clearly middle class/working class neighborhood at noon, first on a Thursday and then again on a Wednesday. And then expect me to drive and hour and a half, during rush hour traffic, to pick it up in west valley with out leaving so much as a tracking number or return address so I even know what it might be. WE HAVE JOBS!! What could possibly be so important that it requires my physical presence rather than just a signature to authorize leaving it at the door? Somebody better have boxed up the freaking President of the United States holding a oversized briefcase full of 100 dollar bills if I have to drive my butt all the way up there.
Bought several items together and some were shipped via ups and some by fedex. The ups packages came in a couple business days. They other 2 were shipped via fedex and they arrived in Salt Lake quickly, then sat for a week being labeled “out for delivery in north salt lake”, I’m in Ogden an hour away, so I don’t think it is “out for delivery”. Tracking says they will be delivered Friday by end of day, then Friday night comes and the tracking is updated to Saturday, then changed to Monday, and so on for a full week. there is an update on the tracking everyday and it remains at the facility. customer service keeps repeating “it will be delivered tomorrow”, yet no delivery is attempted. Seems like this occurs a lot, yet never gets fixed. I would give 0 stars if I could. Shipping whatever I needed by messenger pigeon might have been a better alternative.
I had to pick up my package from the shipping center at 3433 W 2400 S because the person who sent it to me put the wrong address. I didnt have a tracking number, and without my knowing it had been sent under a family members name instead of mine, so I wasnt sure if they would be able to find it for me so close to their closing time. Even though it was quite busy, the employees there took the time to look for and make sure that I received my package, and were extremely friendly and helpful.
Over 200 lb of packages were not delivered because our business was closed at the time. There was no notice that they had come by. They made no attempt to redeliver. I had to check tracking numbers to find that 5 packages were at a random Fedex store. One was supposedly at the main hub. Why were they separated? Who knows. The folks at the store tell me to go to the hub. When I get there I wait 20 minutes to find they have lost the package I very much needed. It was scanned in but someone apparently just shoved it somewhere and lost it. Horrible, horrible service.

Sometimes FedEx delivers, sometimes it doesnt. When it doesnt, the online tracking says no one home, no door code, etc., but the driver never leaves a notice that he came by. I think he/she is in a hurry and just doesnt want to be bothered trying to deliver the package, so its easier to give these other reasons.Usually I end up having to drive to the West Valley center after not getting the package for several days. Good luck with their online and phone systems. I tell everyone I order from not to use FedEx, but some of them only have contracts with FedEx, so what can you do?
I have had at least 20 packages come through this facility. All but one have been late beyond even their guaranteed times. I live in Logan. All packages get to this facility quickly and just sit. Sometimes they have lost the package. Sometimes I am told that they have no responsibility to move the package. This is an incompetent FedEx location. Unfortunately it seems the hub for the Northwest as my parents in Washington have had similar issues with this shipping center. I cant rate this place low enough. If you are reading this and live where you package might be hubbed from this location avoid FedEx. UPS is very reliable - never had a package late from them. A lot of times I even get it early.
This team was incredible! When it came to needing to fix an error they worked diligently to address my issue and get my package out on time. I am so grateful to Gami (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) and the team for their service!

This place doesnt know what they do. Check the screenshot from my phone. They told me they dont do ground and they dont do dangerous goods but their own website says they do. They gave me a phone number to call to get a correct location. The only place the person on the phone said to go to was this location. Hahahahahaha. If this is the company Tom Hanks came back to in the movie Cast Away he would quit and get a job with UPS.
I needed to send a computer back because of issues, to a company for warranty repair. They helped with getting it ready to be sent and the process was simple and fast.
I was waiting all day and was home. The tracking said it was out for delivery and then it said unable to delivery no one to receive package and was in my apartment as they post the message. They don’t have a good way to follow when this happens.

FAKE DELIVERY! DRIVER LIES ABOUT ATTEMPT! Was home waiting for the package. I had been tracking it online fore 3 hours while sitting in my living (next to the door). Next thing I see is that they tried to make a delivery and had left a door tag because they couldnt reach me. Complete BS because they didnt even LEAVE a door tag on my door OR in my mailbox. I had to find out where my package was by calling for customer support (which is a whole other issue when its fully automated) and had to drive to the distribution center to pick it up. When I get there, the man I was working with seemed to be inconvenienced with my complaint. I waited for 45 mins for the driver to get back with my package (it was the end of their business day and I did NOT trust another attempt). The man who is helping me basically acts like this happens all the time and says Ill have to fill out a complaint form and then ushered me out quickly because I had to get my package at their closing time. Best part was, the jerk who was in charge of delivery put the Door tag sticker on the package trying to cover his tracks. How hard is it to put the other half on the darn door?! Had to take a picture of my complaint form to make sure management doesnt cover its tracks too. Dont trust this FedEx center and honestly, makes me not trust the brand.

Incredibly Incompetent location. A package was supposed to be delivered Friday, and they did not even attempt to due to business being closed hard to be closed when its my personal residence. They did not attempt deliver Saturday or Monday for the same reason. Then I asked to have the package held at the location, and they try to deliver it anyways. No one has any idea whats going on, tell your vendor to not use FedEx. And dont bother trying to call or go down. youll get sheepish looks and fake apologies.

Required physical presence and a 21+ signature for delivery of a $100 computer power supply. Why would they actually would do such a thing? Normal people have jobs and cannot physically be waiting at home all day over the delivery of a relatively minor item. Also, my item was literally in the valley for 3+ days prior to the failed delivery. What were they possibly doing with it for all that time? It doesnt take 3+ days to sort the items and get it out for delivery on a truck. Im all around not satisfied with my fedex experience.
They require a signature for delivery but give too large of an estimated time of arrival for me to be home to sign for it. I’ll be shipping UPS in the future!
Order 2 items from Amazon, both shipped the same day from the same facility. One package I really really needed and orders Overnight and paid $$$$$$ extra, which got sent via FedEx. The other I didnt care about and was sent via UPS ground. FedEx Missed delivering overnight which should of been on a Friday, but since the next day was Saturday, somehow that relieves them of the obligation for which I paid $$$ for and now wont deliver till Monday. Thats three days after the date I needed!!! FedEx is going down hill. And wait, that package I didnt care about via UPS ground showed up on Friday as if overnighted.
Spoke to a representative at the corporate level after our package was stolen. The driver and the person I spoke made sure that I got a refund for my package. Didn’t expect them to do that but was absolutely impressed with the level of customer service!
I figured I have time to waste since I am sitting here waiting for my package that was suppose to be here at 5pm and obviously not even here yet! Please put the correct time on the tag you left on my door. Then I wouldnt be sitting here writing this stupid review on the terrible service Im getting.Now the driver left and they dont know where my package is!
Very happy, they had a rush order and it was fouled up due to address and not really anyones fault this kind of thing happens. This branch called me directly, fixed the problem. And thank you to them and all they do here, I will continue to ship with Fed Ex and hope you will also. Im not that excited about the overseas phone center however this unit in West Valley are very customer service oriented. Thanks to Wendal he gets a five star rating!
I was expecting several packages, knew the exact delivery date, and Im a stay-at-home mom, so I didnt anticipate any problems in getting them. However, the delivery driver did NOT knock on my door or ring my doorbell, and as a result, my sons birthday presents were stolen off our porch. Had the driver done his/her job, and had knocked or rang the doorbell to let me know the packages were there, they wouldnt have been stolen. After looking at the delivery time, I know for a fact that I was at home and available when the packages were delivered.

There was a young polynesian girl that help me here and was a very professional very sharp and intelligent know exactly how to help me explain things to me clearly I was in-and-out of there with ease it was a very pleasant to do business there because of this girl thank you very much for your help my package got to where it needed in time

I was supposed to receive a package by 10:30 am and I received it at 8pm.I called customer service.They were absolutely no help and did not apologize.I had to wait all day long for it because it needed a signature.
I would give zero stars if I could. I tried to ship an expensive piece of jewelry and was told that they could only insure it for a $1000 when I needed it insured for $10,000 when I asked to see the manager I was told there are to busy and that I had to go online to figure it out. Thats the worst customer service Ive ever had so I left and went to UPS and everything was insured and shipped without a problem. The company I work for will never use FedEx again.

Horrible delivery for packages requiring a signature. Because I have dogs (friendly ones too) they wont even try to go through my gate, honk,yell or come to the door. Five days in a row they left stickers saying I wasnt home when I was. They say I have to go pickup my package. Half the population has pets. They are getting paid extra and not performing.
We needed a part for a refrigerator and ordered overnight delivery as our food was spoiling. FedEx was scheduled to deliver the next day, so we took the day off in order two fix the refrigerator. Three people were present the entire day. No delivery! An email said they had attempted to deliver. Their driver lied or their company has a dishonest policy. Waiting to see if they come through tomorrow.

Home of the best FedEx customer service. If I have to interact with fedex this is the only office I visit. They are curteous and pleasant Everytime. I had a return require a photo of shipment at the FedEx office. The staff member at fedex posed with the passage be returned making the experience fun and enjoyable. I really like this FedEx location

Staff is decent, shorter wait time, but I had to go all the way here to retrieve a package because the driver claimed i was unavailable at my apartment, which was untrue.
Fedex is completely incompetent. I use their app to request changes to my shipping and they do not even look at them. Additionally their drivers will not take any requests to keep packages safe serious. I have had several packages stolen after they were left out by Fed Ex. UPS and USPS both have adjusted as requested to bring packages to my office, but Fed ex continues to leave them out in the open. Youll see my BBB complaint soon.
Fedex tracking said that they attempted to deliver my package twice. On both occasions I was in my living room next to the door. No one ever came to the door or even left a door tag. Called customer service told them that I needed the contents of the package for work later that night and the replied with if the driver isnt there within an hour he probably wont be back today. I will not be choosing fedex again.
