The lady who did the nails was very sweet and friendly. I didn’t have an appointment and they were able to assist me right away. However, I will never come back to this place. I do my nails better. Very Poor quality, looks like I painted them a few days ago which I actually did today . That’s how bad the turned out to be. Will not recommend coming here, save your money and go somewhere else .

I usually like this place my usual nail tech is AMAZING, Im very polite to her and shes the same with me. The manager is RUDE‼️ Ive never really had to deal with her like that but yesterday a man came in cursing at her so bad I see why now. Shes the older Vietnamese lady who sits at the front, with very short hair. She did not take my concerns with respect at all, Im telling her that Im not happy with the polish I got yesterday so I was asking if they had the right color. She was acting as if she didnt see a difference in the photo in comparison and my actual nails. She was constantly cutting me off telling me whatever I want if it was whatever I wanted I wouldve had her respect now wouldnt I? And then she was almost fussing at me telling me Ill have to pay more if I want the job redone. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE.

Vivi was exceptional and did my French pedicure perfectly. I would have given 5 stars but I thought it was expensive but I have been living in Florida for a long time so price may be comparable for area. The place was immaculate, the service was great and I would definitely recommend!

The Nail Spa is clean, many options from lash strip application to waxing to pedicures. Friendly staff. All the nail techs seem to be experienced. I usually have my nails done by Ben. As you can see the nails look amazing 😻

Not pleased with this place entirely. Came a day ahead of my appointment date to schedule, I was very particular about having a really good mail tech for a mani and pedi. The woman took down my name, number and stated she would have someone for me. I came in for my appt and the woman wasn’t there and the girl just handed me off to someone. He was polite but didn’t not do a good job. My nails look all different shapes. If the color was nude it’s be fine but red shows all the imperfections. I didn’t stay for the mani because I didn’t want to be even more disappointed. Wishing for a platform that rates nail techs so I can stop waisting my time searching for one and getting disappointed everytime.

Went a few days ago I got a Pedicure and a Manicure, Nails however very expensive, little overpriced. They charged me extra for length, mine weren’t even long. The pedicure however it was good for the price. Loved all the features they put in it, Oranges, Aloe Vera, and hot stones, only comment I can when they wrapped my feet in the towels it was a little too hot.

Kayla was amazing! My regular place was closed so I did a quick Google search and found Avalon Spa, read a few reviews. Kayla was mentioned a few times so I figured I give it a shot. Im glad I did! She pays attention to detail and makes sure your nails come out perfect, Ill definitely be coming back.

Did my nails 6 days ago paid $121 for a pedicure and fresh set …. this is the second broken nail and 2nd nail the diamonds fell out of !!! Never again !!!

I love this nail salon. They are so clean and very attentive. As soon as you enter your temperature is checked and you are asked to wash your hands. My personal favorite tech is Kayla. She is very nice and pays attention to detail. You never have to worry about her rushing, she takes her time and makes sure you are happy! Thank you Avalon for caring about your work.

Was recommended to this place and I’d say I wasn’t all that impressed with my service in all honesty. Lady was nice and her technique was good but not too Happy with the design I asked for as I probably could’ve done a better job.Either she’s too inexperienced in design or was rushing through. Was recommended to certain technicians at this place (they were off of all days of course and tried contacting them but got a response a day later) so I took my chances but I guess I’ll try again with some one else or go back to my old nail place. I just don’t feel like what I paid was worth it

I had to give it 4 stars because the time you wait is quite ridiculous unless you just get lucky or go close to opening. I always go to Ali she does an amazing job I’ve waited for her for close to an hour once(she doesn’t take appointments) but it was worth it. Kayla is also very good when I first started going here she was the first one that did my nails and I loved them. They’re very clean I haven’t experienced anything dirty I guess it depends on who you go to.

If you are a busy person, this review is for you!! I am a faithful client of Kelly (10+) and I have referred many many clients, I cannot express how talented and perfect nail tech she is. Unfortunately her talent is not being appreciated in this location, I have followed her wherever she goes and wherever she’s at because this location does not respect the appointment and times you schedule with you tech I have had to find myself looking for another location. Last time I was there I waited 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment, I had no choice but to leave because I had business meetings to follow, This location is not cheap they are $$$ which as a business woman that I am Your clients an appointment should be your TOP priority. Again KELLY is the best!

This Place is Amazing! Best place to go! Ive tried alot of nail salons but this is by far my favorite! Great service and great quality on your nails. Ali does mine. I ask for her because she does an amazing job everytime. Im a single mother so its hard to get my nails done every 2 weeks so I went almost a month without updating them and Someone actually complimented my nails and said that they looked nice. My fiancé has been going here for over a year and the last time she went for her eye brows something very unfortunate happened. They dropped hot wax on her new Prada bag. The lady tried cleaning it off and only made it worse. My fiancé is not confrontational and left (they still charged her for her eye brows) she called me crying and told me what had happened so I went there to try and resolve the situation. The lady at the front told me she was the owner and she could clean it but we weren’t comfortable letting her make it worse. I finally got the real owners name and contact on sun biz, his name is Tony. I’ve left messages and still have not received a call back. The bag was $1,400.00 and I just got it for her a week before they ruined it. These people are unprofessional and try to hide behind a language barrier. If this is not resolved I’m going to have my lawyer contact the owner directly.

Terrible place, over charged prices, it may look fancy but their quality is very poor. Helen was taking off my acrylic nails, she keeps pulling my hand when my hand was not stern, Helen kept pulling my fingers once I pushed back & she notice I was not taking it she stopped pulling hard, but still kept throwing my hand back like if my hand was dirty. She would mostly talk very loud with her co workers, she got bothered after I was pushing my hand back because she was hurting me. I didn’t do or said anything, Helen started to put things down hard after like if she was throwing them didn’t finish to file all my real nails down or cut them. At that point I was very ready to leave I was very surprised the nerve of some people, Don’t recommend this place or this lady Helen I made sure to get her name before I left. Just because their in a plaza next to últa and palm beach outlets their customer service is POOR get your nails done somewhere else!!Update : 6/16/21 after a 5 days my nails started to hurt and felt weak, some are red, my nails got an infection. The only thing I got was the same response from the “owner” was like any other bad reviews they have, apparently them being “Too Busy” has to with their lack of customer service. I updated photos of how they left my nails and 5 days after my nails got infected. You could see the red.

This place is amazing but they never care about appointments. Every time I have an appointment I wait maximum 30-45 minutes because they always take walk in clients no matter what. Techs are amazing but they don’t care about appointments.

The owner lady, the one who is at the very first station on the right hand side is so unprofessional. I’ve gotten here 4 times now and when it is time to pay for my service every time she has taken my money and given my the wrong change back I guess she’s automatically tipping herself but that is so rude and unprofessional. I’m a very big tipper I will tip you well because I work in the beauty industry as well so I know how it is. She has done my nails and she does them so fast she hurts my fingers and is very rough. She needs to no longer do nails. I don’t get what her problem is.

I got a liquid gel full set, paid $60 dollars for it, and it’s been 2 days and all of my nails have chipped halfway off! The older man who did my set was rough, impatient, and clearly did not care about the quality of the work. This is absolutely insane, I have never had nails fall off so soon. Do not go here if you want quality work for what you are paying.

Best experience EVER. I’ve never written a review before but I just had to come on here and thank SABRINA for giving me the best acrylic manicure of my life! She’s very polite and gentle, has amazing communication skills throughout the whole manicure process to make sure you get exactly what you want (perfectly matches your color & shape expectation) and takes her time to evenly apply the acrylic BEAUTIFULLY. I can’t stop staring at my nails, even though I only got a super basic nude set they look like ART I’m so impressed.

Been here a few times, it gets horrifically busy at the weekends, so avoid if you can. But the service isnt bad and the young guy who gave me a pedi last time did a great job and was super patient with my very ticklish feet. I will go back again and ask specifically for him. I made the mistake of coming here on Thursday 8/22/19. I was having an emergency, 2 nails broke and my regular nail guy (Jayden at Hello Nail on 441) was not available. He is an appointment only guy and I was so upset when I couldnt be fit in (I knew better but wanted to try anyways). So I made the mistake of coming here because it is near my house, and I regret that decision so much. I would have rather gone the couple of days with broken nails :( the guys who did my nails left them worst then if my 5 year old niece was the one who did them. Ill let the pictures speak for themselves. My toe nail was cut completely crooked. The HARSH stroke lines are all over my nails. One nail is already chipping. The rest have paint under them as well. All in all I have a total of 5 toes that look decent so 50/50 there, and a total of 1 of the nails on my hands look decent. ALL IN ALL do yourself a favor and skip this messy place. Seriously, its messy looking. This is like the Ali Express / Wish of Nail Salons. Never Again.Icing on the cake, when the nail tech who was doing my friends nail cut her, instead of apologizing, she told my friend it was because you have an opening... umm.. an opening ?? I paid 26$ for the worst pedicure of my life and was told that it will be 5$ extra to actually have the dead skin removed from my feet. I simply got my toes soaked, got my cuticles removed and my toe nails painted for 26$ . No massage. No feet scrubbing or dead skin removal and waited 30 minutes just to be dissatisfied. When i asked the man to please scrub harder with rock he simply did not. Went with my sister and she agreed that we wouldnt be going back. Do not recommend.

They rushed my nails, the polish was not done right, they cut my skin, was using his bare hands to wipe the blood and I had to tell him not to, and he criticized my cuticle while laughing about it In front of everyone in the salon. I took my mother for and manicure and pedicure for a belayed birthday present after recovering from a hospital procedure. This was supposed to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. It was anything but. The lady, whose name I do not recall but I assume an owner or manager, spent more time walking and looking around than focusing on the job at hand, leaving my mother feeling unimportant and just an inconvenience. If that wasn’t bad enough, she did a horrible job. Even though my lady was more attentive, my nails and cuticles looked like they were done by a child. Sorry for the nasty review but in this time when customer service should be top notch, this Salon was extremely disappointing.

The time limit on a pedicure is slightly off. I dont know the name of the gentlemen that attended me but was a little rude. Kind of made me feel a little bit insecure. And he burned my foot lol. However, my husband got his done as well and the girl was so sweet and did a good job. We both had the same kind of pedicure but she took time and even helped him to put his shoes on. Her name was SWEET T. So if you go, ask for her, she wont disappoint 👍

Ive been ripped off several times at this place they always tell me all types if different prices at the cash register and constantly change it and take advantage of me its very unprofessional and i do not recommend at all. they use the same excuses for their poor business and Angie has charged me for long nails several times even after she cut and filed them short because she made one shorter than the rest.

I paid 60$ for an ombre look, with dipping powder. Left that place disappointed, with bumps on 2 of my nails, one nail shorter than the one on my other hand. Visited Avalon despite the bad reviews because my first nail salon was booked up and it was close by. Scheduled an appointment and everything because I needed to be other places that day. Sat for 10-15 minutes until someone actually helped me then when it came time for my fill in I repeatedly told the lady doing my nails I wanted them short because every salon considers short or medium a different length at one point I saw they weren’t short enough so I asked can we go shorter and she looked at me and said no but when I got my bill she charged me $5 for length. Safe to say I’m never coming back. Ladies save your coins and go to a different salon like lavish beauty bar where you get excellent service.

I ventured out and got a pedicure in the middle of a pandemic (I shouldve stayed home). Some of their COVID measures were good, some were not.Good: They took my temperature at the front desk then I had to wash my hands prior to picking a polish color. I sat down with no other people near me(for the most part). They made everyone wear a mask and strictly enforced it.Bad: 1) The technician dropped the pumice stone on the floor underneath the pedicure chair next to me. Did she rinse it off and resanitize it? NO. She proceeded to continue scrubbing my foot. I asked her if she could clean and sanitize it. She dipped it into the water my other foot was soaking in and continued to scrub. All kinds of sanitation issues here. 2) Some employees were using the pedicure massage chairs while on break. They then were called to do a large party for pedicures. They did not wipe down the seats before the party sat down AND because it was a large party they sat people next to me not adhering to the 6ft social distance guidelines. From what I saw the 6ft rule was not enforced in the manicure section either. 3) I went to pay for my pedicure and was charged a $1 COVID fee. NO ONE mentioned the fee and there were ZERO signs warning about the fee. I asked about it. The receptionist (who took a break from selling counterfeit LV/Chanel face masks underneath the cabinet) told me the fee was to sanitize the tools. Shouldnt you ALREADY be sanitizing the tools? What extra precautions with the tools (ya know, the tool my technician dropped on the floor) warrants an additional charge? Not a good experience. If Im going to risk exposing myself to COVID I wont do it here and be charged an extra $1 for it and a staph infection.

I normally would only leave good reviews but after the service I received I have to let people know. I got a fill and gel polish. I left thinking my nails were dry and by the time I made it to wok my nails were peeling. I go Back the next day and was worked on by the owner in the first chair on the right. She removed the polish and I changed my color because at this point I don’t know if it was the tech or the polish that’s bad. As she’s polishing my nails I over hear another lady complaining of the same issue. Then she hits me with can you pick another color because this color no good? I asked her if I will be discounted because of the time I’m wasting, she tells me no because she’s doing them over. I picked another color and by the time she finish they were bumpy. I get up and go to the reception desk to explain how upset I was (still be calm about it not making a scene), and she asked someone else to do it because she didn’t want me to leave disappointed with my service. At this point my cuticles are sore from all the drilling and filing, so I go and let him fix them and they came out a little better but I couldn’t be bothered anymore. Let’s just say I won’t be going back and you shouldn’t either. Fair warning.

I went to the nail place and I did my nails and my feet by the next day the nail polish came out, the guy doing my nails tried to tell me something but I couldnt hear him because he had a mask on and then he started cursing me out in his native language and I gave him $2 tip I regret giving it to him because he was very unprofessional, and now my feet are hurting I dont recommend that place Walmart do it better and it lasts longer!

Told the manicurist I wanted to show some natural nail white. She instead cut all my nails very short. She cut my cutical too deep and made.two nails bleed. Not sure she could see well or speak English well enough to understand. She laughed and smiled when she cut me. Avoid this place. Too many other professional venues in west palm.

Absolutely amazing!! My tech was “Sweet Tea” and she was great! I was only there for a pedi but then i asked if I could get my brows waxed and possibly just get my nails done as well. I felt bad because the lady at the front desk asked what I would like to do get done and I only told her pedi but once I was there in the chair, I wanted more. Sweet Tea was so nice and friendly and did a perfect job! She explain what she was doing and was wonderful. Even with my nails, I told her I needed natural because I work in the OR I need simple clean short nails and she did exactly that! I will always ask for her when I go back!

The place is filthy!!!! Ladies, look at the washcloth they set down for your feet. Note that it is already wet from the feet of the person who sat in the seat before you and also notice that the same person’s callous shavings are on the cloth. Put on your shoes and leave like I did.

Waited over 30 minutes before being serviced and my polish looked horrible. I asked for acrylic on my big toes and they were not filed evenly so the polish looks bad! Didn’t even look at my feet until after I left because it took so long.

I went to Avalon today to have my nails done for my birthday but I had no idea what I wanted to do. I told Ali, the nail tech, that I had no idea and all I knew was I wanted a certain shape and black. I told Ali she can do whatever else she wanted and to dsurprise me and she did the most amazing design I’ve ever seen. The salon was so clean and the staff was beyond nice and quick. On top of that, my nails have never looked so good and for such an awesome price!

My friend went here and she said that the man that did her nails drilled to close to her skin(cuticles)and cut her fingers and when she told him he just brushed it off and said that it was fine and her fingers were hurting really bad.He also didnt address her when he was doing her nails and didnt do the design that she wanted.

Ali is the best tech in this salon! I’ve been coming here for years and switched to Ali a few months ago, no one else will ever touch my nails again. She’s super friendly and does incredible work. Any request I have she goes above and beyond to meet. I HIGHLY recommend to request Ali for your next nail appointment!

I just got pedicure yesterday and the polish is chipping already. I barely got my feet scrubbed, no dead skin removed and the massage was horrible. I also got my eyebrows waxed and the lady was a little ruff. I called to complain about the chipping and to see how much a polish chage would be, I was told $14. Ive heard great things about them but I was very disappointed. I will not be returning.

They work quickly and are quite friendly. Just remember to tell them it your first time so they give you a discount cause they won’t ask.

I have no idea why they are rated poorly on here. I have been going to them for over a year now, and i have not once had a bad set. My go to stylist is Dina and when she’s not available i go to Tom or Kayla. Super nice, really good in shape and style. Especially for me since I’m not creative i let them come up with there own designs.

Winnie is the reason I come every week. I get acrylics with almost always, difficult nail art. She has incredible attention to detail, talent, flexibility, and willingness to try and accomplish whatever crazy nail ideas I come up with. Hard to find good nail artists and I found a gem, I genuinely cannot express my appreciation for winnie. Coming from someone like me who is extremely picky with their nail shaping, thickness, nail art, etc, I never have to critique any work she does because it is time after time, perfection. If you are coming to avalon, go to Winnie or Ali for acrylics.

I came in two separate occasions the last time I came in I got a pedicure, it wasn’t pampering whatsoever I felt like a number. My pedicure came out nice (so the job was done) but I wasn’t offered any other type of pedicure service I felt more like a number also there’s a wait time it just feels like a factory not like a spa.

So Ive been going to this place since it opened up and it used to be amazing where i would recommend it to everybody. However last 4 experiences have been horrible. This last time was probably the worst. The pedi was okay, got a french however it wasnt anything the way i wanted. Never realized french pedi had the potential to get messed up. Then got a dip, now the person who ACTUALLY did the dip was great and quick. But before i got to this persons table - i was tossed between 4 other individuals. One chair to another. Which made absolutely NO SENSE. if you are going to agree to take a client dont move them between 4 diff individuals. I would understand if you didnt know how to do dip and was just helping out. But no sadly that wasnt the case. Each one of them knew how to do dip just decided to take a diff client after doing a little with no reasoning provided. So yes by the time i got to the last person i was heated up. I understand its holiday season and you are busy but dont agree to take on more clients and treat them with little to no respect!!!

I went with Ali after reading a bunch of reviews for my nails last night and she was awesome! My nails are perfectly shaped, not even a slight error. She was quick and pleasant. Will return!

My nails look great and they did it with a sense of urgency but efficiently. The man that did my nails was very patient while I was picking the color for my nails which took around 10 minutes. All in all I would go back and I would reccommend a friend.

My recent experience was not great, paid for a gel manicure and within the second day my nails were chipping and had bubbles. I called to ask if they can be fixed and the woman at the front desk was beyond disrespectful. I will no longer recommend my friends or clients to come to this location.

I love this nail salon. I always see Layla when I go get my nails done and she always does a fantastic job 🥰 Im always impressed with my nails and pedicures. I highly recommend Kayla and her entire team at Avalon nails

I just started Coming to this salon and my first experience was amazing. Allie is the only one I allow to touch my nails. She is so friendly and gives you exactly what you want. I will definitely be back. Thank you Allie!! ♥

The guy Johnny, Over charge for his work, he can be very rude, he will make 10 people come in at the same time, which can lead to a Confrontation, and if you set a appointment 3 mos prior he will call you at the last minute, to change your appointment so he can Accommodate the people that he knows you’ll make more money off of! That’s how I feel and never will I go to him again.

You have to make sure you get the right person. But everyone takes the time to pay attention to their work.

I went here earlier my Reg tech from another place was unavailable it was very congested and pack definitely not following Covid regulations the lady wgi did my nails was ok but not attentive worried about getting the next person in definitely money driven instead of focusing on service very unfriendly my nails came out ok but I’m not happy with attitude I’m uncertain if I’ll return or really ought to be more customer oriented not nice to only pay attention to yiur co worker unprofessional impolite

I had to update my previous review.. You make appts it doesn’t matter, they either cancel right before or you wait forever despite apptFront desk staff performing services and not licensed!! Scary place, I could go on but I will just report the salon instead

Overpriced and not professional!I had gone to Avalon and had gotten NexGen few weeks ago. That person did a good job, so I went back to get them re-done as my nails and cuticles were grown. The person who helped me this time told me she was going to do my cuticles after she was done with the nails. I thought that was weird, but I did not say anything. She started cutting my cuticles dry and that really hurt. I asked her to please let me soak my hands as it was hurting. She brought in a bowl with water, but my hands werent there for more than a minute each. She kept on looking out the front window as she was cutting my cuticles. At the end she added an additional $5 to the already overpriced bill for the one minute water she brought in.I didnt think this was fair and I dont think I will be coming back! Id rather take my money somewhere else.

Walked into Avalon today and I’ll tell you, I won’t be going anywhere else from now. Ali, was just so wonderful and personable. I explained what I was looking for and she took her time to make sure she delivered and what impressed me even more is she asked if I was happy with how my nails looked and even went to far as to make sure I got the exact color I was looking for . It was my first time going to Avalon but it won’t be my last. I’m so happy wirh how my nails look and with the wonderful service Ali provided

Hello!! I had the best experience getting my nails done the other day at this nail salon. I have always been impressed going there but Allie was by the far the best. I have not stopped getting compliments from people. She went above and beyond with the design. I am always scared to try new things with my nails but she promised it would look amazing and she delivered. I recommend her if you are looking for detail oriented, passionate, and patient work. I will be calling ahead and booking her from now on.

They cut me and I started bleeding and they messed up my nail polish. And when I left it was all mushy

I had the worst manicure Ive ever in my in that salon. It was all this particular person who gave me this manicure, her name was Julia. If you go there by all means DO NOT have this person touch your hands shell never touch mine again.

The worst service I have ever experienced. They made me wait 1.5 hours after my scheduled appointment time. Never again.

They do a pretty great job...the first time I had a great experience. A young pregnant girl worked on my nails and did wonderful- she did not rush even though it was 9pm- she said she was happy to take me and stay late as they stay open a little later if needed. She took her time and made great conversation:). The 2nd time I went was in the early afternoon and I was placed with someone else as the other girl was busy. This lady RUSHED so fast that she cut me 3 times...she also burned me about 4 times when filing off the old gel powder. I accidently yanked my hands back twice and she just said oh im sorry and grabbed and pulled them back to the table and continued to be rough. I have never yanked my hands away while gettinf my nails done as I know naturally it can be a bit uncomfortable at times. Between the 2 times I have been I witnessed 5 other customers complain of rushing and being cut as well. Service is a bit pricey here too. Not sure if I will be back after that experience :(

I really enjoyed this place. I have been very worried about going out because of everything going on, but this place is very clean and they clean up right away after everyone. So glad I came here and will be back did exactly what I wanted and turned out perfect.Thank you!

Rosie was exceptional! Great foot scrub on my pedicure! Its been so long, my feet needed it! They were clean and COVID compliant!! Highly recommended!
