From the first consultation, to the end of the event, John Serock was absolute perfection.Rachel was communicative, friendly, and ever so helpful. She was willing to answer ALL of our questions, talk us through the process of choosing meals, setting up the day, and providing us feedback for our choices/ideas. She was outstanding.Now onto the food, it was THE BEST wedding food weve ever had. We chose scallops, short rib and chicken for dinner options and all were cooked perfectly. We are huge foodies, as a many of our guests, and everyone raved about the food. Scallops were tender, short rib fell of the bone, chicken was moist and seared. It was all so so mouthwateringly good. They also have a ton of slightly unique options which we appreciated. The appetizers were fun and delicious.Finally, THEIR WAITSTAFF. Wow, what an incredible group of servers. Covid has affected every industry and the fact that they were still able to carry out impeccable service the entire night was impressive. The bartenders were friendly and quick to make well-prepared cocktails.I honestly cant say enough. JOHN SEROCK IS THE BEST!!!

I cannot speak highly enough of the John Serock Catering team. Kristy was our designated day of coordinator, and she took care of every detail and every question we inquired about from our initial interest request down to saying goodnight on wedding night. Our guests RAVED about all aspects of the night from pre-ceremony drinks to dessert, and we had SO many people ask if we had any leftovers to take home because they wished they were able to try all three entree options. Jessie took care of us, as the bride and groom, throughout our entire wedding night, and she made sure we were happy and hand a drink in hand! We are so thankful for the entire staffs professionalism and fun-loving attitude! They were great to work with and matched the energy and atmosphere so easily!

John Serock Catering, the whole team, and especially Kristy were incredible to work with! We were a little nervous at first because our venue, The Barn at Silverstone, makes us choose Serock Catering but clearly Silverstone knows what theyre doing because those nerves went away extremely fast! The food is unbelievably delicious. All of our wedding guests are still raving about it to this day. And the fact that they wrapped us up to-go boxes of every appetizer, station meal, and all 3 entrees we had was amazing. Kristy was our day of coordinator and honestly our savior. She was so easy to communicate with, answered all our questions, and we wouldve been a mess without her the day of our wedding. The staff was so nice and helpful, including the server who was assigned to us (a nice perk). I wish I could give 10 stars for how amazing everything went. Thank you Kristy, thank you Serock! I cannot speak highly enough of John Serock Catering. We were so incredibly lucky to have them as our caterer for our wedding at Loch Aerie Mansion. The food was spectacular- even now, weeks later, people will still comment on how amazing the food was. So many people say you don’t eat/drink at your own wedding, but that was not the case for us at all! During pictures someone brought us a tray of hors doeuvres and someone was always there to fill our drinks. When we almost ran out of vodka (our fault), John sent someone out for us. The entire staff was positive and accommodating. On a more personal note, we dealt with a family tragedy the week before our wedding. We were unsure if we were going to proceed, and I cannot thank John enough for how he kindly handled the situation. Between this and the pandemic, our wedding should have been incredibly stressful but John continuously put us at ease. You will not find a better caterer in the area and I wholeheartedly recommend John and his amazing staff.

Due to restrictions in the state, we were forced to change our wedding date several times, and we also had to make a last minute change in venue. The food was incredible; I can tell you that every guest remarked on the high quality delectable food, everything from the unique hor doeuvres to the incredible duck and short rib entrees. Our wedding plans got rearranged with everything going on this year, so we chose to have a small wedding and a backyard reception. Let me tell you, we couldnt have had better food or a better experience! Ive been a customer of Johns for 12 years, and it has become a yearly tradition for my wife and I to order Thanksgiving and Christmas turkey, with delicious sides. I always order the turkey with cajun seasonings that John customizes for us, its so tender and juicy, and have to fight my guests for the leftovers!

If you are planning a wedding, you NEED John Serock on your team. From start to finish John made sure every single detail was perfect for our wedding. John was always so quick to answer our questions and he made sure we were always taken care of. The food was to die for (Im still dreaming of the butternut squash lasagna) and all of our guests raved about the food and service. If we could do it all over again we would without a doubt choose John Serock.

Jim and I got married last weekend and we STILL cannot get over how delicious everything was. I wish I could give John and his staff a million stars. ALL OUR GUESTS raved about our food! I knew having GOOD, TOP quality food was the most important thing (other than my husband haha) because I know thats what guests remember/talk about the most. From the charcuterie board that was sent into both of our suites while getting ready, to the AMAZING cocktail hour, and the main course meals, I CANNOT pick my favorite. Our main dishes were filet mignon, crab cakes and butternut squash lasagna. Even our guests were saying how they doubted the filet would be cooked right knowing it was for a larger crowd- however they all left that night, with a smile on their face, tummy full, saying how that was the BEST meal theyve had. Even the butternut squash was delicious. I had the best time not only because of John Serocks food but also because of the STAFF. Kristy was our event coordinator and she literally made everything FLAWLESS and EASY. I loved working with Kristy along with our special server, I believe her name is Violet. The staff was just as amazing from the VERY BEGINNING (food tasting, phone calls, etc.) to the very end. As busy as I was greeting my guests, the staff ensured Jim and I still got to eat and enjoy ourselves. I requested to have a dish of the appetizers at my dinner table (since I couldnt have enough) and when I got there, it was all there!!! Even the food I didnt get to finish eating, they were all kind enough to pack it for me to go. I seriously felt like a queen that night and it was because of Serocks outstanding staff. Thank you SO MUCH for making our night SO EASY AND SO FUN and memorable. IT was literally perfect. Thank you!

It is possible to have a safe event, especially with this company’s help!In addition, Cassidy was incredibly attentive and responsive to my every message. It was evident how awesome she is at her job - and she talked me through all of my questions and (Covid) worries several times!!AND - Anna was fabulous as our own personal server for the evening. We had our signature drinks waiting for us in the bridal suite, as well as a plate of the charcuterie board selections and appetizers. She was wonderful, and made sure all our decor and leftovers appeared in the places we asked.The following is from our photographer, who received a vendor meal: They were the BEST! Delicious food and incredible staff! Like above and beyond awesome.My mom was amazed at how smoothly our event went. Upon arrival, our guests were greeted with butlered drinks and appetizers. John Serock is the caterer you want at your wedding. Over the past few weeks we have met with friends and family after the wedding and the food is all everyone keeps talking about! We had over 180 people at our wedding and they did everything perfect. Kristy was such a pleasure to work with in the planning phase and also amazing to work with on our special day. They had servers dedicated to just my wife and I. I cannot say more amazing things about our experience with John Serock. Our wedding was perfect and they were one of the main reasons for making that happen. I would recommend John Serock to everyone for their wedding if you want the perfect experience.

Serock Catering is professional and a pleasure to work with. They were hired to cater our company holiday party at a personal residence for 35 people and they arrived on time and our guests were very happy with all the food from the appetizers to the main course items. We also picked up trays of items at their catering kitchen in West Chester for other smaller gatherings and the instructions for prepping and reheating were super easy.As a small local business you can tell the owners treat the staff like family and that translates to very personal service from people who care about what they do.Highly recommend Serock Catering!!

Ive attended a few weddings and events theyve catered, and they have the best food Ive ever had at a wedding (by far). The staff is amazing, theyre such a great team and everyone is so absurdly kind. And Im seriously in love with the kitchen manager Amanda. I dont have a negative word to say about these guys.

The selection of foods was outstandingly great, from trays of food for the bridal parties, appetizers, entrees, and that amazing dessert bar! The food was served beautifully and tasted wonderful. They came with everything you need from Table linens, China, silverware, glasses, a terrific staff, with servers and bartenders and the best part of all, they give you Kristy, their coordinator, who coordinates the entire wedding, per your specifications of course. She also has wonderful ideas if you don’t know.She is a huuuuge reason everything ran so smoothly. She timed it all out. Got everyone where we needed to be throughout the night. We let her do her thing so we could have fun. Because of her and that wonderful group she brought with her, it was perfect. We worked with Kristy and John for our wedding in December. They both were a pleasure to work with and very friendly. The food was extremely delicious - we know that people just say that but seriously! All of our guests told us how great tasting everything was and that they were stuffed at the end of the night. Kristy was a big help throughout the process with making sure everything was set the way we wanted. They were extremely helpful from beginning to end at helping to put up and take down the décor – they even placed it all nicely into our vehicles at the end of the night! They even added to-go baggies for us to enjoy when we got home! All of the servers and bartenders were super friendly and wonderful at asking if we needed anything to eat or drink all night (even while taking photos). It felt as if we had private butlers haha. They helped out a ton on our big day and we are so glad we went with them. We would recommend them to anyone that wants to have a very delicious, filling, and stress free event! :)

We had an outside wedding under a tent in a horse field my daughter and her fiancéhad a very specific vision of what they wanted and John completed created that vision it was everything and more we could of asked for the food was fantastic, the staff was so friendly. They worked so hard and efficiently. It was amazing, John put his personal touch and made us feel that everything was taken care of at the wedding. I have three more daughters and I would definitely recommend John Serock catering to all my family and friends! Wonderful!!!

I just got married in October and used John Serock to cater it. It was once of the best experiences. He is great to work with, he is so knowledgeable about weddings. We hired John Serock for our wedding based on reviews and their marketing material. We found them to be inconsistent in their delivery of food. Some dishes were very good, and others, seemed to show minimal skill in selecting fresh and flavorful ingredients for common dishes. This came as a surprise when considering the cost, so it took a great deal of coaching, which felt uncomfortable, at times. They were very willing to be flexible, but I was disappointed most when a personal family recipe prepared during the tasting had no resemblance to what was served at the wedding. I addressed it with our coordinator who admitted that it was prepared differently, and just offered a dismissive Sorry, it didnt meet your expectations. I believe that she had moved on to the next event by that point, and didnt realize how much it meant. After working in sales, and event coordination, its good practice to offer some type of compensation when you admittedly express that something wasnt delivered properly.

My wife and I chose John and his team to cater our wedding in September 2017 and we couldnt have been happier with that decision. After meeting with and tasting food from 4 caterers, we decided on John because the food was outstanding and we were able to customize the menu to exactly what we wanted. After our first tasting we changed about 60% of the menu (we were doing 3 stations) so John allowed us to come back and do a 2nd tasting of all of the new stuff for a very cheap fee that was then subtracted from the cost of our final bill.On the day of the wedding John was there to help us out along the way and make sure everything ran smoothly. After our busses with our guests got stuck in traffic delaying the start of the wedding, John was able to adjust the timing of everything on the fly so everybody could still enjoy the cocktail hour and dinner. His staff was excellent all night long, always making sure my wife and I had all the food and drinks we needed. I think the biggest accolade a caterer can get is when a year after the wedding, our guests still talk about how great the food was. Everything was incredible and John and his team definitely went way above and beyondour expectations.

When it was time to choose a caterer for our wedding, John Serock Catering was always in the front of my mind. I knew about the company, about John, and about the amazing service and food they provide. After we chose our venue, we realized we were “stuck” with an approved vendor list. Imagine my relief and excitement when I saw JSC listed! From the first appointment with him up until the wedding day, John and his team were so easy to work with. When I say the food is fantastic, it’s an understatement. Even the tasting itself was such a pleasant experience. John is extremely down to earth and yet still very professional. He truly cares about what he does, how he treats his staff, his clients, and every little detail about your special day. He helped with the logistics of the wedding day, our guest list and seating chart woes, and was an extraordinary help the day of our wedding. I was a bundle of nerves and stress the few days leading up to the wedding day, worrying that my “dream” wouldn’t pan-out, since I would not be in control of all the little details and decorations. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I could have cried when I saw how perfect everything was, how attentive his staff was, and of course, how AMAZING the food all was! I even made sure I sat down and ate BOTH crab cakes for dinner because I didn’t want to pass up such a good meal!! I need to also send a special shout-out to Rose, who was our “shadow” server for the day. She made sure my husband and I were always followed around with food, drinks, etc. She was super attentive and very nice. If you’re looking for a caterer and are considering JSC, STOP LOOKING! You’ve found your caterer!

RAIN!!!! It rained ALL DAY... but Serock catering made it better by greeting my drenched guests as they arrived with drinks and delicious hors doeuvres.Not only was the food absolutely incredible but the staff (including john) volunteered to run out in rain to get all the chairs, flowers and arbor so that we could create our ceremony spot under the tent.Thanks Guys, your hard work did not go unappreciated!!!!!!!

Everything about this business is outstanding. We utilized them for our daughters wedding. Cassidy worked closely with our daughter to create a beautiful reception. From the hors doeuvres, to the meal, to the dessert, it was all delicious. We had filet, sea bass, and stuffed portobello mushroom for our entrees, and we heard only praise from our guests. Its not easy to serve 140 people steak (etc.) without drying it out.The servers were all friendly and helpful. Id certainly use them again!

You may find amazing food at many catering companies across the Philadelphia region, but Serock adds an unparalleled commitment to customer service. From the moment we walked into their West Chester office for a tasting, we were greeted so warmly and quickly bonded with Cassidy. Throughout a year of getting to know Cassidy, it felt like we were working with a close friend for our wedding day. She was the go-to person for all of our vendors during our wedding day. She ran the show. And my wedding guests noticed! They asked me, Who was the blonde woman at your wedding? She looked so calm and organized! And thats an understatement. Cassidy is so attentive and doesnt limit her role to caterer. She found me in the bridal suite before the ceremony and asked how she could help. She instantly began helping set up decor. As for the food on our wedding day, everything was such a hit, from the passed appetizers to the entrees to the grilled cheese station at the end of the night! Our guests couldnt stop telling us how good the food was. As bride and groom, we were treated like royalty by our personal server. We never had an empty glass or had to look far if we needed her.
