My name is Alec Sturtevant. I go every other week to Champions Barber Shop and get my haircut by Edwin. I have yet to be even slightly disappointed by my haircut and dont ever see it happening. The atmosphere of the barber shop is extremely relaxed and comfortable. ALL the staff have been extremely friendly. I used to just buzz my hair myself until I decided I wanted to try and start styling it and tried Champions as it was recommended by a friend. Champions has a great atmosphere with friendly, talkative barbers who will chat with everyone while they cut. Emily is awesome, as I did not know the lingo or how to convey what I wanted, but did my best and trusted her and she nailed it. Very professional and helpful to someone who has not had their hair cut in a barber shop in 20 years. I have also got my hair cut by Mike who was just as good, but now stick with Emily who constantly puts out a quality cut. Just watching everyone there u can tell they are all very skilled, and the owner Miguel is fantastic. Nothing but good things, recommended to all my co workers who now go there for their cuts. The barbers here are excellent and very friendly. Im not from around this area and they were very welcoming to taking me as a walk-in. I was able to show my stylist a photo of my hair from a previous cut and she was able to replicate it perfectly. I would definitely return if Im ever back in West Chester, and would recommend it for anyone thats looking to get a great haircut.

I have been going to the Chestnut location every couple weeks for over three years. I love the haircut and the awesome people that work there. Its not the cheapest, but the quality is what you pay for. Easy meter parking nearby too.

Miguel is a good dude and him and his guys (and gals) always give a great cut. Ive never once been there and walked away disappointed.I moved to PA in 2001, and never found a barber shop I liked. When I moved to West Chester and have Champions a shot, I finally found a place I liked, and havent gone anywhere since. If anyone is looking for a great cut at a reasonable price, definitely give them a try, you wont be disappointed.

Went to Champions for the first time yesterday. Went to one location and they were jammed so they called their other location for me and I was able to get in right away. The atmosphere, staff quality and value were all top notch. Very customer focused. I would not hesitate recommending this establishment.

I just moved out to the West Chester area in September. Obviously with a move comes a new barber among other things. Upon walking into the shop I was greeted by the ENTIRE staff and given immediate attention. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and so are the barbers. Andres worked with me explaining the different clipper sizes to get my hair just how I prefer it. Andres now has my business and I would HIGHLY recommend this establishment to anyone looking to get a haircut! Thanks again guys!

Been getting my hair cut by Miguel for nearly 10 years, before Champions opened up. This is the best Barber shop in town, period. The staff here is fun and all of them are extremely talented. Shout out to Edwin for having the West Chester fade game on lock!

Boom! These guys are fantastic. My best friend was getting married in the neighborhood and had never had a hot shave. I brought him and the rest of the groomsmen here and we got cleaned up before the big event. Edwin and the rest of the crew were consummate professionals. Please tip well, they deserve it!

5 stars isnt enough! The atmosphere, the barbers, their patience is why my boyfriend is willing to travel to west chester. You want 10 star barbers? Champions is the only place you will get it. Terrance cut my boyfriends hair, who did an amazing job! The shape up, the fade, its all on point! He went in a grizzly bear, and came out a baby face. Miguel fixed my sons hair, thank god! My baby boy is looking sharp for picture day, especially with the star design he gave him.

Great service and super friendly employees. My appointment didnt get entered in the system but they were still able to fit me in and even paid for my extended parking. Emily did a really nice job with the cut. No need to look any further for a West Chester barber!

5 Stars all the way, I am new to the area and needed a cut / new barber so I did a little searching online and found Champions. I am so glad I found these guys they were great. I ended up in Andres chair and he did a fantastic job, he took his time and was really thorough with his work. About half way through the cut Miguel jumped in and educated me on how the cut should be compared to what I had asked for and I was very happy with the end result, I could tell right away these guys new what they were doing. Miguel also helped out on cut and I got to say that is the first time I had 2 barbers work on me on the same cut. they perfected it. I also noticed that the other 2 barbers in the shop were fantastic too they all take there time and do a great job and make sure your happy with the cut. they do all the extras cant ask for anything more. If you live in the WC area and never got a cut there I would recommend it in a heart beat, give them a shot and you will be impressed, I was and I hope to get my cut there for a long time. Its hard finding good barbers and these guys all deserve a great review.

First time customer. Warm greeting from the owner. Made an 11am appointment with Drew via the website (Vagaro). Showed up at 10:55 - was in the chair 11 on the dot. Drew took his time and gave me one of the best cuts I had in a while -- exactly what I asked for!! Will definitely be going back!! 5 STARS!!

Had one good haircut here followed by a terrible haircut and never been back after that. I even tried to correct the second haircut and the guy kind of gave up. Definitely didnt feel like an actual barber and I probably couldve done better myself with trimmers at home.

I love this place. The only thing i would say is this if your having a student thats doing the service on you please give yourself 2 to 3 hrs free time because they take a long time depending on what your getting it took my son 2 and half hrs to get a fade done. When they do detailing they did scratch my sons skin in the back from the detailer so i think they should be a little more genital doing that. They do serve coffee which is nice but they sould keep checking the powder creamer or sugar because it had dust and hair on it. But other than that... Great people great atmosphere great service. On point with what your looking for and price is unbeatable.

I went to this barbershop last week and I am still impressed today on the work they did on my hair. I came in the barbershop looking like a real Chia-pet and I came out looking like a champion. Their prices are reasonable. Back in my hometown, a barbershop would start at $20 to cut hair. Also, they are great with kids. I dont have any kids of my own but when I do get kids, I will be glad to have them come here! Lastly, they cut all kinds of hair. From rough hair to soft hair, these guys are the best! I dont use that word lightly.

I used to shave my own head forever and finally decided it was time to get a real haircut. Walked into Champions without having a clue what I wanted and Andres talked it out with me and gave me recommendations and suggestions. The haircut looked awesome and the customer service and patience Andres showed was next level. Ive gotten my hair cut by all of the other barbers in this place as well, and the quality is exactly the same across the board. All of them are A+ barbers and are some of the most friendly people youll meet too. Ive bounced around other barber shops in West Chester as well just to see how they compare with Champions and I can honestly say Champions is far and away the best barber shop in WC.

Best Barber in West Chester, Miguel!!! No contest. I have been going to Miguel and more recently, Champions Barber Shop for over 5 years. I even moved to Philly recently and still make the drive back to West Chester for haircuts. Attention to detail at a great price. You cant beat Champions, and for the review below I find it very hard to believe any employee would ever say anything bad about anyone. You did say it was Restaurant Festival, did you stop to think that maybe it was people hanging out at the shop or passers by. I highly doubt that someone like Miguel who has worked so hard to establish a name for his business would let something like this slide. Coming from a long time customer, I would reach out to him and Im sure he would make things right. Needless to say your experience sucked but to tarnish his business standing and score with a review based on an experience not in his shop (and most likely not by his employees) is kind of harsh.

These guys are awesome. Since my son was 1 year old I had been cutting his hair myself. I finally decided to take him to a pro and the first place we went to actually CUT HIS EAR. I had refused to go to another shop until someone told me about Champions. I decided to give them a try and they are fantastic! My son doesnt cry and isnt afraid of being cut! I use the same person, Edwin, every time and he is great with my son! (Im not sure if that is the correct spelling for his name Im horrible at spelling) Anyway, Champions is the ONLY place I will take my son for his hair cut! Every one should go here!

I have been going to Champions Barber Shop since it began. I followed the owner Miguel from the previous shop where he used to cut my hair. Miguel has always been a friendly and outgoing person. During my time serving in the Marine Corps, Miguel always went out of his way to accommodate my schedule. He would stay after hours to help me make sure I had a regulation hair cut. Countless times I have called him on the day I needed a cut for any number of reasons and he has always done his best to accommodate me. He even sacrifices his personal time to help out. I know that I am not the only one he has done this for. He is extremely skilled and dedicated to Champions and his craft. The atmosphere in the shop is friendly and fun. The shop is always clean including the restroom. I always enjoy the time I spend there. The three barbers that work there, including Miguel, really make me feel like I’m a part of the Champions’ Family. They are always asking what’s new in my life and how my business is doing. I like that about them. I would highly recommend the Champions Team to anyone looking for a skilled barber shop that values their customers and the community. I hope that Champions is there long after I’m gone because I don’t think any other shop would measure up to the level of service that I have found there. Champions Barber Shop is the best place in West Chester to get your hair cut. The staff is awesome and I have even seen them pay for customers meters when they didnt have change. I have never left with a hair cut I didnt like. If you want the genuine barber shop experience youve got to go to Champions.

Shout out to Em C and her surgical-like precision for saving my husbands hair after he got a botched cut from a different shop. His part is now situated on the correct spot on his head. He learned his lesson and will continue to make the 45 min drive because Champions is worth it! =)

The female who cut my hair did a good job and was very friendly,the haircut was $20 which isnt outrageous but when it was time to pay I was charged $5 extra bc she shaped my beard up! I walked in here on a saturday afternoon about 1230PM, it was pretty much filled. I did NOT have an appointment but the barbers made sure they greeted me and told me they would get me in as soon as they could. I waited maybe 45 mins tops and got in as a walk in! All the barbers take their time and i can now see why it was PACKED! My barbers name was miguel i believe. He was great as was everything about the haircut! I took his card and i will be going back with an appointment u cant go wrong here. Fantastic barber shop

Having been to both locations for some time, I can honestly say this place has regressed. Some of the ladies give below average haircuts and the scheduling is terrible!! They charge you $20 if you cancel your appointment but do nothing when you have to wait 30 damn minutes after making an appointment. Its a shame that I have to find a new barbershop in this area.

Champions Barber shop was first barber shop i had my hair trimmed in West Chester been a new guy in town, i aint changing them anytime soon.I would recommend them to anyone any day!!!!
