I’ve been to this barbershop since the first day they’ve opened. Great experience every time and I make sure to book ahead of time by at least a week in advance. All the barbers have great skill in why they do and make sure you are satisfied before you walk out that door.I highly recommend anyone going to this barbershop if you need a simple clean up or a full makeover for you hair needs.Also would like to recommend to anyone that needs a facial done to definitely go there. Patricia is an excellent aesthetician and has never disappointed me when I go in every month for a clean up.

I come in once every 2-3 weeks to get my undercut done. Ask for Francisco. Hes a hair artist. He cuts designs into my undercut every time, and they are never the same twice. Prices are super reasonable and the shops vibe is super chill. I HIGHLY recommend this shop.

This barber shop is the best kept secret in the Waltham/Watertown area.The owner of this shop, Johnny, started cutting my hair a few years ago at another shop where he was renting out a chair. I went to him on the fly when my old barber was unavailable. I jumped in the first available chair expecting that hed cut my hair quickly without paying much attention, but I was completely wrong. Johnny sat me down, talked through a plan, listened to what I wanted, paid close attention to details, and buzzed and clipped and trimmed until everything looked perfect - then went the extra mile to clean up the edges with a straight razor, and topped the experience off with a hot towel. You dont get treated like that at every shop or by every barber, so I kept coming back.I stuck with Johnny for a few years, but moved out of town for awhile and fell off the grid. When I got back, I reached out to Johnny and he told me that he opened his own shop, so I went by to check it out. When I arrived at the Art of Blades, I was impressed by how clean and modern the shop looked, and Johnny welcomed me in and took care of me, picking things up right where we left off.The new space at the Art of Blades is nicer than any other shop Ive been to in the area, and the overall experience of the shop felt high-class and elevated. Weird setting, the waiting area is after their barber chairs.They talk more between them than to their customer.It is the closest place from home to have my hair cut.
