Look no further! I have been looking for a good barbershop around Watertown for a long time now, after trying a bunch before this I finally found the one. This place is a classic and professional barbershop. John did an excellent job with my hair, and is a super nice guy. Make sure to call and make an appointment, all 3 of the barbers book up quick.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. First off, they did an amazing job cutting and shaving a shark design cut for my son. People keep stopping us on the street to comment on how awesome it looks! And, it was only $17! But, more importantly, this group of barbers is among the nicest and kindest group of people I have ever come across. The way one of the barbers cut the hair of an autistic young woman while we were there should be a lesson to all of us in patience, kindness and acceptance. Thank you, A Barber Shop. We will be back.

I love going to A Barber Shop! Either by appointment or walk-in, they are very welcoming and friendly. The barbers working there are all top notch, though today I got a cut from Galloway, who did a perfect job. On top of the great cut, they also use compressed air to get the hair bits off you, and this is a huge game changer. Lets put it this way: after my hair cut I went directly to walk my friends dog in the summer heat, and then ate a bag of gummy bears while driving home. I didnt get itchy at all walking in the heat, and I didnt find any hair in my mouth either.

Place is hopping. Tried to do a walk in, had to schedule an appointment but only an hour and a half later. Live close by, so it worked for me. Recommend calling first! Galloway was my barber. Dude knew what he was doing. All 4 barbers there were friendly and took care of everyone. They got a deal where you can get your 10th cut free. Galloway took his time and said I wasnt leaving until I was happy and looking fresh. Gave me exactly what I asked for. The razor shave was short and sweet, they were very busy. Will be going back.

When I moved here from Lawrence, I wasn’t sure where to go for a good haircut. Then when I found this place I’ve been going there ever since for the past two years straight. I won’t go anywhere else because I know this is the best barber shop in the area. Brito makes you feel right at home and so do all the other barbers

Good place and open late which is awesome. Thankfully the barbers wont chat you up too much if you dont want to talk. No need to make the chair a confessional. The haircut I got was great. What I saw which was good too is them offering their expertise to some of the customers saying you know what we could do... and they guys ended up looking good taking the advice.

We walked in on a busy Saturday morning without an appointment. All three barbers were busy, but they were also friendly and relaxed and promised to work my son and husband in. My 4 year-old son was nervous, but John immediately began chatting with him and making him laugh. He was still nervous getting in the chair, but his barber (name?) talked to him in a fun, upbeat manner to help him relax. By the end of the cut, my little guy was chatting, laughing, and looking fly!

I started going here about 3-4 years ago and even when I moved out of the Allston area, I still kept coming back. Fantastic customer service, all 3 barbers are very personable and respectful. I go to John, but I know many friends use Handsome and Brito and are very happy with their haircuts. Recommend setting up appointments, walk-ins take a back seat to any appointment so you could be waiting a while.

Just moved to the area and visited based on the online reviews. I not only got a great cut, but had a solid conversation with Herson. When I told him I was new to the area, he gave me tons of restaurant recommendations and was very helpful with explaining Watertown in general. Really nice people here. The establishment is professional and clean. They add a lot of nice modern touches to a classic barber shop - a pool table, flat screen TV and nice leather chairs.The barbers cut exceptionally well. I had a chance to get cut by both Brito and Josh and they both took the time to listen and plan how I wanted my haircut. Dont expect a quick 10-minute chop and go like your regular barbershop/national chain hair salon. These guys take their time and are very meticulous in their craft to make sure no hair is out of place. Their prices may be a little more than most barbers but when I consider the time they put in to serve me, I think its more than fair.
