I would not recommend living in these apartments. Most rude landlords I’ve ever dealt with. Whenever we called Bob for a problem around the apartment he hung up on us and never wanted to come and fix the issue. Both sinks in the kitchen and bathroom were broken the day we’ve moved in and they never found time out of their day to come fix it the whole year we lived there. Our fridge leaked, we were missing shelves, fridge light was broken. When we called to get the fridge fixed the worker came and even said that we should either get a new fridge or that they should have fixed the fridge before we moved in. When we first moved in they said that carpet cleaning was $25.00 when we move out for them to clean it and they charged us $97.00 off our deposit. We had to even rent a rug doctor when we first moved in the carpet wasn’t cleaned to begin with. We got 4 big buckets of black water from how filthy it was. There was stains all over. The carpet should be been replaced before we moved in knowing that we had a baby on the way. They said that we left dirty counters, cupboards, bath tub, toilet, fridge & oven when we have pictures that prove otherwise. We cleaned everything before we moved out and left it cleaner than it was when we had first moved in! Bob told us to leave the keys in the apartment when we moved out and we told him we didn’t feel comfortable doing that if he could meet up with us and he said he didn’t have time and hung up. Just got our deposit back and he charged us $50 for the keys and told us we’re not getting our money back because he changed the locks and hung up on me yet again. They weren’t willing to do a move out walk through like they did when we first moved in. Ripped us off over $200 on our deposit. Absolutely disgusting and rude landlords I would not recommend living here! Wish I could rate them a 0!

I would not recommend renting from R&K Rentals to anyone! They were incredibly slow to address issues/fix things when needed, if they were ever addressed at all. Bob was VERY rude every time I had to call him. But, to culminate the issues, they scammed me out of my deposit when I moved out, which I’m sure they do to everybody, because they do not give you a checklist for what is expected when you move out and refuse to do a final walkthrough with you- they tell you to leave the keys on the stove with your forwarding address and then they do the walkthrough on their own and send you your deposit via mail, which allows them to charge you/scam you for the most ridiculous things without you getting any say in it. I called Bob to address this, and he hung up on me. Most unprofessional and scamming landlords, and their properties aren’t great or well maintained.
