They will leave your keys in your car with the window down outside of their bay unattended and anyone can access your car and your belongings. They said that’s fine it’s standard protocol when we confronted them.They gave a inaccurate quote, didn’t give us an accurate update on day 2 when price changed, failed to call and let us know the vehicle was finished.Save your time and money! Go somewhere ELSE!
The environment was pretty relaxed there. The employees seemed to work hard and have fun at the same time, which I like. The job was done right and thorough.My only criticism is that I think customers should have the option to drop keys off at the front desk. I was told to leave my keys in my car while it was parked in line at the bay doors, but I wasn’t comfortable with leaving my vehicle unattended so I stayed near my vehicle for 1 1/2 hours until they pulled my car into the bay for servicing.
Was Mr.Lube now Diamond. Still a great place to go. Prices jumped up due to oil prices, but that is the world we live in. Very friendly and courtesy staff. Will be going back for second car. Great inspection report afterwards. Makes the price well worth it 👌
Bought some new all weather season tires from Diamond Plated Automotive. Had to special order my tires and got a call when they arrived. Drove up from Anchorage the next day. Happened to be the first one in the tire line. Few minutes before the shop even open, they had my car in the garage. Felt like I was only there for 30 minutes. They mounted and balanced my new tires plus disposed of my old tires, for a inexpensive fee, saving me time and hassle.The whole process was a breeze. Staff were very welcoming and professional.Lets face it... car maintenance/repairs sucks. At lease now, I know Im in good hands. Definitely will be a repeating customer! The new tires work great, have amazing control on wet roads!Already getting better gas mileage too!

I was passing through and had a light come on in my car. What a great shop. The owner came to talk to me and really helped easy my panic. She really cares for her customers. They do great work and stand behind it. Very friendly staff. They took their time to explain what my car needed. They are fairly priced too! Highly recommended!

They sent me a text with the inspection report that was easy to follow. I am absolutely in love with the owner. She is so kind and so humble, and she cares so much for not only her customers, but her employees as well.. I have never felt so welcome and less worried about the outcome. She ensured that we would leave there satisfied and with a year warranty on parts that were fixed for my car-Brake adj- and in just 2 hours- i was very happy.This is a new shop but I am already looking forward to using them more in the future for anything I need for my vehicle maintenance and repairs. Simply great.
Bought removable studded tires last September and was told they would remove studs come spring. Called them and was told that was under old management and they do not offer this service. Asked when new management took over and was told two years ago! However, they would be more than happy to sell us a new set of all season tires! These people will lie right to your face!
Friendly staff is only part of the experience. Everyone I spoke with was pleasant, and seemed to have a genuine inclination to replace the part the technician broke on my wheel, but nearly 3 months after the incident, I had to find and buy the part myself. Gretchen promised me she would replace the part. I always had to be the one to call and check in to see what was going on with getting my replacement. It was always a “I dropped the ball” type excuse, then when the part finally arrived, it was the wrong color (not her fault). I ended up getting a refund, and she did still promise to get me the part, but it’s been weeks with no word and I’m done babysitting to get my part. I just ordered it on eBay. It really wasn’t hard to find. Gretchen, you need to follow through with your promises, or just not promise what you can’t deliver. The whole ordeal was annoying, and I was put at a low priority. Not a good way to do business. Not a good first impression for a new customer.
Great view from the mountain and not to difficult to travel up to. BUT keep in mind the road becomes dirt for most of the road so depending on vehicle and weather proceed with caution.
If I could give no stars I would... For the love of your car do not use this place.. Horrible horrible horrible... The receptionists are rude, and everytime I get something serviced I leave with something new broken... Dont waste your time or money here
I was a service writer with Diamond Plated for a short time. To be honest the management was pretty sketchy, but I just went along with it because I really needed the work. All of my coworkers were pleasant to work with except for one in particular who also happened to be buddy buddy with the owner Gretchen. One day I was working with said coworker, and they had been texting back on forth with Gretchen all morning. It was especially slow that day, and at one point the coworker said “Gretchen might send you home early today” to which I said “Alright, so I’ll just wait for her to get here then.” It was not uncommon for me to be sent home early. When Gretchen arrived later she was angry with me because apparently my coworker sent me home, and I decided to not leave. That was when Gretchen fired me without listening to my side of the story, it was a simple miscommunication on the coworker’s side. I also still have not received my last paycheck, and when I brought it up with Gretchen she said that she had proof that I had cashed it out.
Everyone was very helpful and friendly! I felt I got good service. I did not realize that the business had sold to a new outfit. I was disappointed that I could not use my own filter and oil. Otherwise I had a very good experience they were fast, efficient and friendly.
Went for an oil change ended up with a way bigger problem. They were super helpful and friendly. They called and kept me up to date with what they were doing and didn’t stop until they were happy with it. Will definitely go back, bonus points for love of Mary Berry! Thanks so much!!
Prudence the receptionist/quoter and Jeremiah the mechanic are sincere, knowledgeable, and wonderful to work with! The owner even went out of her way to make sure the parts were there today. She explained that she knows how important it is to have vehicles done when they say they will be done. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with this company. Thank you all so much!

After hours, the team saw that our car had lost power at a nearby intersection after a tire change at their garage. They arrived with a battery jump. When that didn’t work they towed the car around the corner to the shop out of traffic. They didn’t have to do that off the clock. Nice guys. Thanks so much for the care.

I used this place before it changed hands and got a decent price at about $80.00 Noticed they weren’t as busy as before when ownership changed. Asked for a high-milage oil change and spent over $100.00. Will probably find a new oil change shop.

It was good. Price a little high but customer service was good. I noticed on my report that one of my tail lights was out. If I would have been notified at the time I would have had the technicians replace it while I was there. Not a super big deal though. It was good to get a report analysis on different parts of the auto. Overall a good experience

The owner was working up front and scheduling yet doesnt know how to. She scheduled me in just to call me hours later saying they actually cant do the job and that she doesnt actually knows how to work up front. Then when I went to pick up my car I was told it is what it is and then was ignored until another employee came over. I will not be returning.
Filled my transfer case with the wrong type of fluid and damaged my truck. Also overfilled my transmission by 1.5 quarts. Save your headaches and go elsewhere.Since you replied, let me assure you that this happened since you took over ownership. Andy or his employees never messed up one of my vehicles in 10 years as a customer at Mr. Lube.Im reviewing Diamond Plated Automotive. Had a poor experience over the summer that they eventually made right. So I tried to continue and give them the benefit of the doubt because I was a long time customer of previous owner and the location is convenient. Staff (female) outside in the bay was super nice. Inside was ok but not really engaged in customer service. 82$ for a wiper change is NUTS!!! I wish I wasn’t in a hurry with a work time issue and would have done it myself for half the price.Unfortunately that’s two too many issues. Will not go back.
So down on my luck...Thats normal for me. Night before I got a screw in my tire. I didnt realize it till almost 5pm next day. They were so kind and considerate. I came in last minute before they closed. Im very grateful for their service. I recommend this place %100.
My boyfriend and I both needed an oil change. He went in the day before I did and they charged him upwards of $200 for an oil change. Nope. Not a typo! And while he was getting this oil change they said oh we don’t even have the oil you want. So of course when I get home I ask him where he went and he told me and I was like holy smokes! I would have lit a fuse in that building.Next day I take my car to get an oil change not knowing this place had been bought out (also not knowing until later this was the place my boyfriend went to because of name changes) no one was there, bays were open for service. I walk in and ask to schedule an oil change and an amount because the day prior my boyfriend got up charged entirely too much! The front desk lady tells me I can’t get an oil change for an hour and half. So I say okay well I’m going to grab lunch and I’ll be right back. I’ll eat in my car. She said I had to leave my car there or I would lose my spot (I was the only one there) I then told her I have my dog and there’s no way in hell I’m leaving my dog here with you. And she had the audacity to be rude. So I left and got a cheaper oil change else where as soon as I arrived. So I’ve never actually bought services for my vehicle from this place but I don’t recommend.
The employees are very helpful and happy. Nice place to sit and converse while waiting for an oil change and tire repair. The kids enjoyed filling up cups of water and drinking it from the machine!
I was honestly not a fan. The first time I called the girl at the front was eating while talking to me. I was looking to get help diagnosing my vehicle and they repeatedly asked me what do you want to have done? - Obviously I wasnt sure! Needless to say my vehicle is no longer there and they did not get the $400 approval to start diagnosing my truck that was needed. 2 stars because atleast they were mostly polite.Edit* Yes youre correct, after I scoffed at the idea of being charged $100/hr for 4 hours that may or may not need to be done I was quickly told that it could be done for cheaper but not after being asked what is your budget? upon answering my phone. Its obvious that you guys are trying to get as much $$ as you can out of people and not just do straight up honest work on vehicles, sadly. Im glad to help.
Even though they switched from Mr Lube, they do good work. They are great at honoring warranties and for all of my repairs, the prices have been reasonable.
I was greeted by the mechanics as I walked in then by the 3 ladies working at the counter, everyone was friendly and helpful. As I checked in the mechanic was waiting to get my keys to do the oil change and I was in and out in less than an hour.
They were prompt and had excellent customer service. The timeframe communicated to me was accurate and my vehicle was ready and waiting when I arrived to pick it up. They did not try too hard to oversell me on services that were not necessary, which I appreciate it. I will be using them again

Overall they did a good job. I did ask for new wipers as I had just broken one... they marked my inspection sheet as “no problem “ Did not change the wipers and it had to be brought to their attention. Which does make me question whether the other inspections were actually done. The mechanics we’re running around with short sleeves and oil up to elbows on arms, I did need to wipe down my center console from oil after - so NO interior clean done.No serious complaint, but I do expect better and after 12 years of going here, I won’t be back.

Had a heating issue over the weekend and they were able to get me seen first thing Monday morning. Communicated everything from where I was at in line to what they did to my car to get it fixed to another minor issue that could easily be fixed with no additional costs. Awesome new team!!

Went in for a walk in repair. I was greeted as I walked in the door, I explained my issue and was told they could get me right in. The service was fast, very reasonably priced and excellent customer service. A strong recommendation for this shop! They are awesome.
I was happy with everything except that I asked them to change my windshield wipers along with the oil change, and they failed to do so. Two days later I brought my other vehicle in for a tire change and oil change and this time they forgot to do the oil change. They need to fix their system so that they will do what they’re asked to do in one visit while the customer is expecting it
I called yesterday for tires. They took my credit card over the phone and charged me. Called me right back and said they couldnt get to the warehouse due to a positive Covid case. They refunded my money. That was fine until today I got charged a completely different charge and had to call multiple times and threaten fraud charges for unauthorized charges against my account before they reversed it. It wasnt even for the same amount as the day before, which tells me they maybe accidentally used my card for someone elses charges. Get your sh*t together! I mean, look at the reviews! So much mix up, all the time! Go to Tews, they were awesome!
They have good service but Im only giving 3⭐ cuz I told them I only needed one tire and it was only a temporary tire also. They kept trying to get me to buy more than 1 tire etc. I had to repeat myself multiple times of what I needed and what I wanted b4 I was finally able to get what I wanted. They also had more than one person try and tell me I had to get more than 1 tire.
I ordered tires for our car, they told me the cost included change over. I explained to them I lived about 60 miles away and I would be there at a certain time. When I got there they told me I had to come back the next day, they couldnt do it that day. So they went and asked if they could get us in. I was told I would have to wait in my car for over 5 hours and they might be able to do the change over. I really didnt want to wait in my car for 5 hours. And really didnt want to go hang out at Walmart with the covid or miss the time they could get me in. So I asked if I could take the tires and I would go somewhere else. They said yes but the cost was just for tires. So even after I would have them do the change over they were still going to charge me even more. So I will never go there again and I will tell everyone I know how much of a ripe off they are. Very disappointed and angry.
Took my car in for oil change on 7/20. Had no problem waiting in line as they moved cars in and out ( 2 hrs). I’m sitting out front and see it’s my turn and a woman pulls a car in through front bay and skips right in front of me. I go inside and she walks in and talks to counter girls and walks out. I ask them is she the owner or something and they say yes. This is very unprofessional and not customer-service oriented. Who does that??? Just plain Rude.
I ordered tires with Mr. Lube through a phone order yesterday evening, paid for the tires over the phone and came in today to have them installed. The receptionist told me she would call me when they arrive from Anchorage. It was only 2 hours to closing so I decided to drive over and see if my tires were there.#1 Upon arriving, the tires were here and no one called me to tell me that they arrived.#2 No one disclosed to me over the phone that there was an additional fee of $75 to install the tires. They told me about the “extra charge” after she took the keys from me. Had they told me about the extra charge BEFORE I ordered and paid for the tires, I would have went to another business to get them done.#3 The receptionist was rude and was complaining about the workers in the back.#4 I was told to come back in an hour and everything would be finished as “we are dead and this will be quick” the receptionist said. The girl/receptionist drove my car in front of the garage door out back. I came back in an hour and only the oil was changed! While waiting, I read many HORRIBLE reviews on google about this business. I stated I want a refund as I had a horrible first impression, read the OTHER Horrible reviews, and I’m not waiting any longer. The receptionist called in the back and talked to a manager who stated they can’t give me a full refund on the tires as there was a 15% restocking fee. I said “just let me pay for the oil change and I’ll take the tires I purchased from you and I’ll take them somewhere else to have them changed. At that point the receptionist rolled her eyes and breathed out heavily! Worst customer service ever. I hope this business goes out of business!!!! Plenty of better businesses out there to go to. Diversified tires will now be getting my business.#5 The oil change on a little 2018 Kia Forte cost over $90!!
Great team they have over there! I showed up close to closing time and they found a way to squeeze me in, even tho they were pretty busy. I waited awhile but they were upfront about the wait time and very friendly. Plus, they were doing me a favor so I was happy to wait as long as they needed! They also did not do anything without letting me know first and confirming that I was okay with the price! Great customer service!
The employees here are great, my husband has been coming here for years and I just recently started to myself. Everyone there Tries their hardest to make sure you leave with a Smile and the best customer service possible . No matter the situation they are always professional and nice and caring ❤️ 10/10 would recommend
I’ve gotten my tires done here a couple times since the management has changed and each time I didn’t receive what I originally asked. I had spare tires I wanted changed because some were balding and losing air, instead simple doing a tire change over as I asked they patched the holes and replaced the air tubes. I’ve had to go back several times since then and get the tires repatached because they didn’t just switch them over to begin with. They still won’t because they want to “see what they can do first”.Called in today for a different tire issue and just for a quote they were asking $150.00. Needless to say, I decided on a different place that got me in right away and didn’t ask some outrageous price simply for quoting me on my already deciphered tire problem. I miss Mr. Lube and the great prices and customer service they offered. I’m not impressed with the new place at all.

Just got my truck back a few hours ago, standard oil change and service, full synthetic. Very reasonable price for a 2001 dodge ram 1500. So far so good, and customer service was excellent, mechanics were friendly and informative. Will update review if needed, but hopefully wont have to.

Customer service was excellent value was not. We paid 58.71 for a Rain x 22 Latitude windshield wiper. Those price out at 16.60 at Walmart and any other retailer. I understand a mark up, thats a bit excessive. Because of this, I will not be using this business again. I recommend checking prices before assuming they will be reasonable.

Got full service oil change and *belated* tie changeover and staff were very pleasant, answering all of my questions. My car is not only happy, I am happy. They alerted me that my wipers needed changing, and that my battery was getting old. So glad to get new wipers, too and now I know I need a new battery before wintertime. The new owners really put transparency first! I wanted my brake pads changed and a rotation. They came back and showed me I didn’t need either but that I had a bad tire.They saved me over $400 from my original estimate by being honest. I’m sold for life!
They were really quick. I was in and out and my car was well taken care of.
I went in for a routine oil change and had used them before with no issues (when they were Mr. Lube), I like that it is quick, get a look at my vehicle, top everything off. However, this time around when I went to pick up my car, they told me that my brakes were unsafe to drive on and needed immediate replacement. My vehicle is a 2013 and used, so I thought it was plausible. Since I have very mechanically savvy people in my life, I said I would wait and was warned that they wouldn’t advise driving my car. Well my husband and father-in-law went to change my breaks themselves to save money and they were hardly warn, almost looked identical to the new brakes. I feel like I was lied to and potentially taken advance of as a woman going in with her car alone. I hate to leave negative reviews, but that is unacceptable and needs to be known.
Bobbie Ann does an outstanding job representing your organization. I am impressed with her professionalism and attention to detail. She should be a valued employee and please express my appreciation to her for her efforts in communicating with me. I’m deaf and have a coclear implant as a result of 20 years service in the United States Navy.
Horrible service; charged me several times for tire leaking after tire change over lost 3 of my tires and did not replace them.

I do not feel safe with a felon working there around my vehicle. I came in and saw her on her phone she didnt even lift her head to talk to me. Felons should not be working in a professional environment like this. Plus all the car keys and cars she could get into and take things that are not hers. Ya i dont think so. I been coming here for 10 years and I want to see this person let go due to the fact that person is a felon and should not be trusted in a professional environment like this.
I took my small 4 cyl car here for an oil change. I called ahead and was told no wait. I got there within 10 mins and was told no wait. So I filled out paperwork and they said 15-20 mins. They kept shuffling cars around moving their ‘friends’ cars first and by the time it was done, it took over an hour and a half and that was because I started harping on them. I asked for a discount for the poor customer service and for lying and for the ill treatment of a customer. They said they would take off a 40% discount and the total is $87 after the discount which would mean that they charge close to 165 for an oil change on a car that takes only 4-5 qts of oil. So I was lied to repeatedly, treated poorly even by managers, then they charged me full price after saying that was with a discount, and it taking an hour and a half when I was first in line was just ridiculous. If you value your time or money, DONT COME HERE.

I lost 3 hours of my life because I was told the wait wouldnt be long, and after 3 hours the only difference between my car in MY garage and my car in THEIR garage was just that, a different garage. I dont expect a down-to-the-minute estimate, but I asked whether I should get a ride when I got there and was assured it wasnt necessary.I ended up getting a ride after the 3 hours, and all my buddy said was that Mr. Lube got sold last year, and people refuse to go there as a result of the decline in service. Im now one of those people :)Props to the super polite kid who was running around like the worlds most helpful energizer bunny.
Left my car unattended in the lot with keys in it. The passenger side window was intentionally left open in the rain so “if the locked themselves out “ they wouldn’t have to jam something in the door to open it. They had my car for two hours and didn’t do anything to it although when I arrived I was the next one in line. Don’t be fooled this is not the same people or service once given by the previous owners. BEWARE.

I used them for 8 years and was always happy. Now they have new owners and dont seem to be doing as well. I dropped my car off for an oil change and asked them to replace the spark plugs I supplied. They said I needed to make an appointment for that now and they would call me when the mechanic was back. Great! No call. I called them the next morning...they said sorry, the other clerks dropped the ball and didnt call me back. Fine, lets make an appointment to do the spark plugs. They said they would get it done that day and call me. No call and its Sunday, I need to get to work on Monday. I stop by and they said it had been done for awhile, sorry they didnt call and they were closing 2 hours early, at the very moment I was picking up my car. $400 bill and they cant tell me why. They said they would have the mechanic write up a detailed bill and call me back. Never called. Sadly, its time to find someone new. These new owners do not care about honesty, customer service, or transparency.
I took my car in for an oil change and left with what they said was a “water hose type leak.” The shop manager refused to assist in anyway, saying they took absolutely no responsibility. It turns out they had pulled a hose off, and lied that there was a leak when the car came in, it would have taken 5 mins for someone to help figure it out. Very poor unprofessional and untrustworthy service, which is unfortunate I went to Mr. Lube for years.
I was forced to rate it with a one star but honestly don’t give them any !!!! I brought my good running car in for a simple oil change, but instead I paid for them to seize my engine. They never replaced it with oil after they emptied it. Long story short now it’s no longer a running vehicle!!!!I would NOT recommend going here!!!
Im sharing this to document the actions Diamond plated automotive takes to make this right. On tuesday 7/21/2020 my son took his 2006 Kia optmia there to to have a full service oil change. He was charged $95.93 for the goods ans service,which sounded fair. 24hours later him and his car are broken down on the parks hwy waiting for a tow truck due to a blown engine from what a mechanic said most likely due to a cold start with lack of sufficient amount of oil. Prior to his visit his car only had 103482 miles on it with no engine issues or dash warning lights what so ever! This is an attempt to resolve this situation fairly. So now im going to try and contact the owner.....to be continued! 1st attempt, i called and asked to the owner Gretchin and was told to hold she was on another line and would be right with me. A few minites later the lady who answered the phone came back on and said she had just stepped out and would call me back. i left my #......waiting?.....to be continued!!......update......Gretchin called me back and was really nice about the situation. sounds like they are going to take care of the issue. fingers crossed!! update soon!
Was a really good experience! They were pretty quick with the service! Gretchen was really good about explaining changes in the economy, very transparent which is rare! Overall really easy oil change!
Ive been coming to Mr. Lube for years, I loved the old owners. I went in for a tire change over, and was told they do not give time estimates, which I thought was a little odd, but I went with it, I mean it is the busy season. I dropped my car off at around 4:30 and was told it would be done by 7pm and to please come back by then if they havent called to say it was done. I came back at 7 to pick up my car only to be told I would need to come back to fix a lug nut part that was broken while changing over my tires, this fix would be free of charge. Yeah, free of charge but a waste of my time. I came back the next day to have it fixed and explained how unhappy I was, and how I think the situation could have been handled better. I asked why I wasnt informed of the mistake when it had happened and I was told that the person who changed over my tires was new and he just didnt want to get in trouble. If it were my business I would have had someone stay overtime to fix the problem, or give some type of reimbursement for the time I had to spend getting my vehicle back to the shop, spend another hour waiting for my car due to a problem they created. In my time waiting there I overheard other issues from other customers as well. The impression I got for my first time coming to Mr. Lube under new ownership was not a good one. It seems like there is a lot of inexperience, new employees, and poor management. After asking around from friends, I have found that I am not the only person who has had a negative experience. I will be taking my business elsewhere for future oil changes and tire change overs.
Got oil changes for both of my familys cars done within two hours. They were also cheaper than anywhere else in town including changes with synthetic oil. Great place. I will continue to go here for all of my automotive needs in the future. I cannot reccomend them highly enough.
I was very skeptical about having my vehicle worked on here since it’s seem to have gone downhill but a couple days ago I had the pleasure of speaking with the new service writer there. He put my mind at ease, was very professional and understanding of my financial worries and assured me that my decision for staying was right. I can’t thank him enough.
Just found out ownership changed . Dont think customer service is too bad . Just think time management is a problem. With the old owners Id get myself in and out with an off the car tire change over max 2-3 hour wait for full set changed sometime even instantly wheeled into the shop and out in 30 min for a single or pair . Never have I had my tires sit around for more than 3 hours .dropped them off 8 sharp . I give it to them they are a tight shop but Im on hour 5 for a single tire change over
