The employees were nice, and my nails looked great! But I paid $80 + tip for dip powder nail extensions with a gel color & one cracked after 2 days. After 1 week, multiple extensions had cracked and broken. After 9 days, two of the nails had popped off. By two weeks, all of the nails popped off. So essentially I paid $80 for about a week of cute nails.

Maní-pedí from here lasted FOR-EVER! Shop employees are kind and detailed. Only con is their colors are pretty basic. Still 5 stars in my book.

Reasonable service, I walked in at 3 and there was nobody else there so was seen straight away. $15 plus tip for a Venus manicure which is the basic one. It was over in about ten minutes plus another ten to dry so very fast service. It would have been nice for the hand massage to go longer than 30 seconds.

Love going to this place for manicures and pedicures. The ladies are really nice and they do a great job. I only wish they were open on weekends as well so we locals in SW could make more use of it!

Classless and just outright rude!!!So I got my nails done while I was out of town, and one of the nails broke. Venus spa and nail is right around the corner from where I live, so I figured I would just stop in and have them replace the nail for me. Plus I figured since it is in walking distance to home, if it was a good experience this would totally be my new spot! I would have never foreseen the experience that I had here.I was treated so rude it was absolutely appalling. So when I walk in, there are two people in the shop working, and they were with customers and you could tell that they had been working on those customers for a while. She doesnt tell me that they were too busy or couldnt help me right when I walked in. Instead, she asks me what do I need to have done. I told her that a nail broke, and I would like to have it replaced. When she realizes that she is not going to be able to cash in on me, from what I could make out, she then said they are busy and cant help me. With the Asian accent, I wasnt sure if I heard her right, so I asked that she repeat it again, and she pretty much just ignored me and wouldnt even tell me what she had said!!! Then after I stand there for a few seconds she says we are with other customers now ...so I ask, well is it not ok if I wait? She literally tells me no I am not allowed to even wait!!!While I understand that she they arent going to get $50 or $60 bucks for an hour of work, if you do the math $10 for 5 minutes worth of work is a higher rate. Plus its only 5 minutes of your stinking time and you would be building customer relationships. The whole experience really pissed me off. like really?!? You all cant even take 5 minutes to replace a potential repeat customers nail? While I would have absolutely loved to hop a flight back to Missouri to get the nail replaced that just wasnt a feasible/economical option, so I thought I could just get it replaced locally.I love getting my nails done, and I always tip well, but this place is one that Id never grace with my presence again, and for the rest of my life, I will always tell anyone who will listen never to go to this place because the person I encountered was a rude witch. If you want to go to a place where they actually treat people like...well people, and actually know a thing or two about customer service this is not the place to go.I wouldnt go to any place that would treat any person on the planet like they treated me. Pretty much I was told that I was not welcomed there. You are merely a price tag when you come into this place. There are so many better place that you can go in DC where they treat everyone with respect and dignity!!!! Show this place that there is such a thing as karma. When you treat people like crap, you will pay the price. Dont go here!!!!

The manager is very nice. This place had been my reliable back up when I couldn’t get to my regular nail salon. I hadn’t been here in over a year, but I went not even two weeks ago and already the gel broke and popped off of 2 of my thumb nails. I went back and had the first one fixed when it popped off in less than a week. Now that the same thing has happened to my other thumb nail, I’ve decided not to go back to them for my gel refills. It seems like either the quality of the gel has changed or they’re cutting corners in an effort to get working customers quickly out of the shop. Their pedicures are wonderful with the hot stones, so if I go back, it will be just for that.

This is the second time that I visited this shop. The first time was pleasant. She did my fill and pedicure well and took her time. I tipped her according. This time was different. She completed my fill in about 30 minutes and did a so so job and when i told her i didnt like the color combination and wanted to pick another color, she had an attitude. When i paid i gave her a $2 tip and she said something smart to the other lady there and then had the nerve to tell me to tip her 15% or 20%. I asked her did she always tell her clients what to tip. I informed her that my tip was a reflection of what I thought about her service, not what she thought i should think about her service. She said $2 is not enough, if you like you should tip 15% or 20%. Im not cheap and Ill tip accordingly but Im not going to be pressured to tip by a vendor. She didnt deserve 20% to be honest she didnt deserve my extra $2 on a $30 fill. I wont return.

The ladies are really nice but the quality of work for a gel manicure is not good.. I come here often for eyebrows and that is much better than their gel manicure work.

I typically come to this salon on my lunch break for the convenience and usually I have a good experience; however, I went in today after calling first to set an appointment and was not serviced because I was told I didnt specify the type of manicure service I would like. Although Im never asked specifics over the phone and Im usually in and out, my appointment wasnt honored and I was told to come back at a later time although only one other customer was in the shop. This left such a bad taste in my mouth because it was super unprofessional and the employees didnt seem concerned about me being inconvenienced. I will never return and advise others to ask more questions than normal if deciding to come here.

Thats the reason I dont use them. They have no customer service. However, I will do the occasional manicure and eye brow wax. I tried them when they first moved accross the street to see if this was someplace I could go and its not. Its funny because, this is the same nail salon that was in LEnfant Plaza and they did great work. The shop is rather small and they dont accept walk-ins. They never appear to be really busy. When you walk in, they look at you as if youre bothering them.

I came in to get 2 toenails polished because they were smudged after only getting them done a couple hours before.. the lady I was speaking with was originally going to fix the two for free. However, the owner came to ease drop on our conversation and requested $5 for them to polish overtop of smudged nail polish. Since the owner was so rude and unaccomodating for something so trivial. I will no longer patronize this business. They def lost a client.. all thanks to the OWNER! Smh
