Everyone is so professional, and I have never had anything less than a perfect experience. They offer lots of services that I havent experienced but my entire family goes to the salon regularly, even relatives that dont live in DC. Omer is exceptionally talented, I get so many compliments everytime I get my hair cut. He does an equally excellent hair cut and styling on men and women of varied ages with very different hairtypes(speaking only from my own family experience with ages ranging from toddler to septugenarians. And everything in between.)I have never met an entire staff at a salon where everyone is professional, genuinely warm, and no one gossips or is judgemental. I remember riding my bike by the shop when they first reopened post covid closures, and was a complete mess and wasnt expecting to get my haircut or even go into any business. They were happy to take me as a walk in, and didnt flinch at my unkempt appearance. I was efficiently and thoroughly cleaned up from the neck up.

Omer and his team are always ready to meet customer request. I changed hairdressers many times,ever since i been going to Omer my hair looks more stronger and healthier.

Moved from Los Angeles One and a half years ago.Tried multiple different hairdressers all over town.Not only have I had my best cut In the DMV area here, But it’s definitely the best cut I’ve had in my life.Experience, professionalism, everything you want from a hair salon in a very nice package, in a beautiful area.Very talented hairdressers.

I have been seeing Marija for brow + body waxing over many years in DC and could not recommend her more highly! She is a perfectionist on the job and makes any experience quick and painless.

The owner has a very light and very thorough touch. Whenever I’m in from Atlanta I make time to see her. She managed to convert me from lip waxer to thread and somehow make it almost painless. Her energy is very warm and welcoming and the compliments on my brows seem endless.

Went there to get a manicure, polish started chipping on 4 nails the next day. Manicurist didnt even clean the nail utensils (eg, use alcohol wipe to wipe down or cleaning spray) when she finished with the previous client, just used the same utensils on me. Unhygienic, bad quality job (bubbles appear on nails because polish was slabbed on too thick and not smooth at all), and very rushed (manicure took 15-20 mins before she had to move on to someone else). Would not recommend, there are much better places.

I got my eyebrows done here, and I am unhappy with the results. I asked the lady to only shape from the bottom of my brow and she did not listen. I really hope my eyebrows grow back soon. They were otherwise professional.

Talented and experienced hairdresser who advised me about what would look good on me. i had long long hair for more than 5 years and I had a nice shoulder lenght haircut that suits my face and smile. We met an old client of his that followed him and after each move and has been loyal for over 12 years

I should have know better when the receptionist said the stylist will be up to see if can help you....I had came in to ask for a simple fade on the sides and back no work on top, no styling, no shampoo... the stylist seemed upset when I said no need for a shampoo. Then told me to sit. I told the stylist three times I was looking for a fade from a 0-1 he said ok then gave me a buzz cut... Looking at his work like there I gave you a master piece. I asked, are you going to fade it now? Looking upset that I want as pleased with his work as he was he finished the job. I have a crooked line not fade and he had the ordasity to charge me $50!!!!! For a buzz cut on just the sides!!! Never again!

I went to Ekti salon not knowing what to expect. I wanted to change my hair color and cut it. I was so happy with the result, and it was totally worth it. Its my new favorite salon.

I first came here via Groupon or living social and Marilena and her husband run a great salon in terms of waxing and nails. I dont trust anyone else and only go to marilena! Shes the best! Everyone is friendly and helpful and also, shes fast! Love them!

Ive received many facials in this town, you will not find a better esthetician than Marilena. I have repeatedly returned to her for 5 years, because she is the best. The relaxing, massage portion is simply wonderful, and she is extremely thorough and careful during extractions. At other spas, you sometimes feel like an eshtetician is hurrying through the hour, and with Marilena, you know she is relaxed and taking her time to be sure you have a relaxing and excellent experience. Highly recommend.
