I live down the street from this salon and its my favorite. The prices are reasonable and the staff members are all incredibly kind and accommodating. The best part, Im always able to swing by last minute and they are always willing to take me. Kim did an amazing job on my dip nails- I will be going back soon!
I’ve gone twice. The first time after about 1.5 weeks my get started peeling off. The second time the next day two nails peeled completely off without me even picking at them. I didn’t have time to go back nor do i feel it would help bc it would likely just happen again. All the ends have flaked off on every finger and it’s been 1 weeks. EXTREMELY disappointed.
Went in for a gel manicure. The salon seemed to be in compliance with covid restrictions. It wasnt overly packed and customers were spaced out. My only issue is not even a week after getting the gel mani the color started to peel. I went on Saturday and by Thursday the gel had completely uplifted from my nails. I simply removed it myself.
Staff adhering to covid guidelines. They made sure I was happy with my nails! Very efficient and no wait if you call ahead
Good job, the people are amazingly.
Due to the COVID-19 everyone one of the employees was wearing a mask accept for one who employee who was eating in the salon around the consumers without her mask. In the future please have any and all employees eat down stairs or outside but not around paying customers who want your services but not the VIRUS
First time here and very good service. Kim is nice. The lady who did my nails did them very good and gave great foot massage
Ive come here on and off for at least a year. The service is friendly, theyre efficient but thorough and good price point. Its my first visit in a covid world so figured Id share my experience. Even before the pandemic i found that they generally wear masks and gloves so that was the same. They require customers now wear masks too. There were only 3 customers and 4 technicians and the owner. The space is small so this still feels a bit high. Full capacity would be 8-10 people in a very small space. Anyways they make up for this by having installed plexiglass between each station, also between the technician and customer. So you essentially have plexiglass on all three sides sticking your hands through a cut out much like you would money at a bank. I didnt see their cleaning protocols between customer in this covid world, but I assume they have similar diligence as before. Ive seen them use plastic bags at the pedicure station and in between customers still spray down with disinfectant. Ultimately I felt fairly comfortable just in case youre wondering if its safe.
If I could give 0 stars I would .. that was the last time I went to this place. I asked to a gel removal and unfortunately the machine to remove it broke 3 of my nails and it was brushing and burning my fingers . The owner is a nice lady but unfortunately its not a place to ever come back .
If you are black, I don’t recommend going to this nail salon. During my last visit, they made me pay before I even received service. I noticed that they didn’t make there white customers pay for beforehand for the same service I was getting. The nail service I did receive was rushed and not good.I was upset at how chipped my nails were that I went back the next day to get them redone free of charge, but when I also addressed the obvious racism, they didn’t acknowledge or apologize for it. I will not be coming back.
Great service!
Amazing customer service from the moment I walked in to the time I left! Not necessarily the neatest paint job or best shaping but it worked for the night!
My new favorite nail salon in DC. They close late on Sunday and is surprisingly quiet inside despite the madness outside on 14st and P st. I am certainly going to keep this place a regular.
If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. The service here is just horrible, don’t go here if you’re black, I’m serious. The lady had me waiting over an hour to get my nails done. When she was finally “ready” for me, she was juggling both my nails and this other ladies feet. I hated the entire experience, keep in mind I was the only black girl in the nail salon. When it was time for me to pay, she was trying to charge me $15 dollars more than she said it would be. The customer service here was pure trash, not only did she not shape my nails correctly but the lady made me bleed. Just don’t go here, I’m serious.
I wish I could rate this place less than one star... I walked in, was barely greeted but needed a manicure desperately. I picked out my color, and the lady who started doing my nails was SO rude. She also did such a terrible job that I would barely constitute this as a polish change. She had to redo my thumb three times because she kept messing up and then was rude about it to me. Never coming going here ever again and neither should you.
Worst place ever!!! Do not go there! Customer service is awful and also their products are very low quality!!!
I was in the D.C. area Im from Fl. And needed a mani gel. The reception was cold and the tech unfriendly. His skills were mediocre. I do not recommend this business.
Always get in and out quickly and they do a great job.
My favorite place for pedicurea, starting at $25.
Here is the worst nail service which i had .they didnt clean well before painting on my nail. And later i found something on my nail they didt clean it. They just made scratches after finishing.
Horrible acrylic set, lady was rude that’s why I didn’t leave a tip.
Basic, in and out quickly.
Easily the worst acrylic manicure Ive ever gotten.
Good
So fast!!
