The most basic service a manicure (without polish) went very wrong. During the manicure the technician was so aggressive removing cuticles that my guest was bleeding during the service. Four days later and their cuticles have scabbed up and are still constantly a painful issue. With hand sanitizer or anytime they reach into their pocket- and we came here to enjoy time at a casino so that would be often. NOT WORTH THE PAIN. I do want to add that we got two pedicures and they were great. My feet are still smooth days later BUT the painful cuticles are still an annoying issue that I wish we could have avoided🥺

Simple nail salon with COVID protocols in place. I felt very safe the whole time. They were so nice and very detailed the entire process. Tons of colors to choose from as well various brands. I wasn’t able to tip via Venmo although cash preferred for tipping, you can add to your card!

As an early vday present, my husband wanted to take me to get my nails done, since we’ve both been very busy and I haven’t had time to get a rebase since my wedding. We just moved to D.C. about a month ago. My nails were looking ugly. I made an appointment at a nail salon and told the man on the phone I needed “a rebase for my gel nails and a polish change on my toes.” I made my appointment everything was all set and we were on our way. Sometimes when I’ve let my nails grow out too long in the past and it’s obvious they need a major fill in the nail techs have taken my nails off and have started over. Seemed like they were doing that everything seemed normal. The lady asked me if I wanted a trim and I said yes, because they were so long, and I said you’re going to re-acrylic the nail right? She said something in Vietnamese and then this other girl came over and they filed my nail down and tried to remove with nail polish remover. Well, after they were done they started laughing and the head honcho came over and said: “we don’t do acrylic here.” I asked her “well when I called and said I needed a rebase/fill in what did you think that meant?” She said, “I’ve been in the business for 15 years I don’t know what that means.” I told her “shouldn’t you have asked before you ruined my nails?” What the f. I was mad because they messed up my nails and weren’t willing to fix them. All five of them were laughing at me and pointing at me. The lady just kept yelling at me telling me that I didn’t tell her that and she knows what she’s doing. I mean obviously not, anyone could see my acrylic nail vs. my real. So unprofessional. They left my nails crumbling. I will be notifying everyone in my reach to never come to this place. Weird that they act like they couldn’t understand me as soon as there was an issue.

The best nail salon in the DMV area. If you’re looking for a relaxing ambience, this is not the place. It’s a small nail salon and it’s always busy. But if you’re looking for quality this place is the one. The staff is super friendly. I usually get gel manicure and it stays on for a month without peeling. Highly recommend :-)

Though its a small, scrappy establishment thats a bit pricey, the quality of service is top notch. Theyre not a chop shop, riding you in and out for the same, generic services you get elsewhere. Theyre more like a school for nail health. Was the best, longest lasting gel manicure/pedicure Ive ever had. Note: they do not offer nail extensions or extensive designs.

This was my first time there and it was a great experience. I had ogi for my pedicure and she had such an attention to detail and wanted it to be perfect. I appreciated she even put oil and plastic wrap on my toes so they wouldn’t get ruined in my shoes. The scrub and wax for your heels is also great! Clean and would recommend.

Nice staff and good manicure. Had a dip powder manicure. Manicurist gave good advice regarding my nails.Place pretty pricey but I guess most places in DC are. They offered a discount for giving a Yelp review but they said because I didnt give them 5 stars they couldnt give the full discount.I told them 4 stars is all that I could give because Ive been to other places that have 5 star service. So be careful here. That condition was why I had to bring them down a star, Im just being honest there is definitely room for improvement at this place.

I was a little disappointed that they don’t use acrylic anymore. But Megen was very polite, took her time and did a great job on my gel manicure! 2 weeks later and my nails still look great... I’ve gotten lots of compliments too. It’s a cute nail spot and it’s clean, also they have a happy hour. I would definitely come again and I would recommend this salon to others.

I appreciate that they use clean and sterile products, but isnt that the least a nail salon can do? $17 for a basic manicure with no lotion or nailpolish PLUS $5 to remove gel is really quite atrocious, as is $30 for a basic pedicure. They seem to do good business considering theyre opening new locations, and thats great for them, but for the price they charged I would have gotten more care and attention elsewhere.

Walked in and BEGGED them to fix ONE toe. They looked me up and down and said no. Then they said they are fully booked for today. Then they said I could wait one hour. As the only black woman in the shop at the time I felt there was a specific reason they declined to service me.

I went to get my eye brows done, I have family members that live in the area that frequents there. It was 5:30 on a Tuesday evening, atleast five nail technicians not servicing customers. I walked in and greeted everyone with, “hello”, no one responded. I then said hello again but followed up with I would like to get my eyebrows waxed please. Someone responded with, the eyebrow person isn’t here. I asked out of the ladies here, did anyone do eyebrows, multiple women responded, “No!” I walked out, and won’t step foot in there again! This just happened today on Xmas Eve, I find it hard to believe no one is doing such a simple task.

Was visiting DC for a conference and chipped the gel manicure I’d done just two days before. Blue Bell Nails was really close to my hotel and was able to see me immediately. Cindy gave me the nicest looking, most durable gel manicure I’ve ever had. My cuticles were immaculate when she was finished. Mine almost never last longer than 8-10 days, this was 15 days and chip/peel free. First ever gel manicure that’s been redone due to growth.

My fam and I were on vacation. I’ve never been able to have long nails because of my job so while my fam went to see some sight I decided to get my nails done across the way from our hotel I went for powder nail extensions and a gel pedi the gel was beautiful. But the nails awful!! Some of them looked like they didn’t fit on my nail bed one hand looked too big and fat and the other too small not only that several were not even on straight. I tried to say several times that I wasn’t happy with some of them the lady kept arguing with me telling me it was natural nail that was crooked and I bite my nails. The powder has dimples. I was so upset I literally was holding back tears and anger. I was very happy with the lady who did my toes. But the bill for both was $102 I thought about saying I wasn’t going to pay for the nails if she didn’t fix them. but I was afraid they would kick me out or call the cops!

Overpriced and there is zero attention to detail on behalf of the staff. My shelac was sloppy - had bubbles and was uneven. I had to get my toes corrected twice, following I sat under the fan for 15 minutes for them to dry. As soon as I put on my shoes they smudged completely as a result of the thick coats of polish that were not applied properly. I am still sitting in the chair for the third time and will be here for two whole hours before Im done. I will never return.

I had such a great experience here. My nails look amazing, for one. The staff were all so friendly. Initially I didn’t get why I was being moved from station to station or technician to technician, until the owner Jean explained that’s how they work. She was super friendly and kind. So was Ellie, the Assistant Manager, who did my nails. I really adored them both. The first thing I noticed though was how they greated my 71 year old mother, which was with such kindness.thats always super important to me, and my mother. My nails look amazing. They run a very busy salon seemlessly! Way to go staff 5 stars for my first go around...

Went in today to get some dead skin taken off my feet, and they are more rough than they were when I walked in then the girl doing my feet when taking the lotion residue off my toe nails broke my toe nail (btw I didn’t even get my toes done there because they were already done I just wanted then to take the dead skin off) although she repainted it she charged me $30 and I’m left with rough feet.....bad business.

They did a pretty decent job with my nails, Id give them 4 stars for that (the Mani/pedi massage was too soft and there was some unevenness in the file-ing even after I asked them to fix it which is why its not a 5)The advertised prices are amazing, but thats not what I ended up paying. It was supposed to be $54 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure ($60 if paid with card) but I ended up being charged $61 even though I paid in cash. I was too shy to say anything. I wish they adhered to their price policies

This place is awesome. They do manis and pedis at the same time which saves time, the place is clean and the manis/pedis are always excellent. I like the lady who owns it, too. She’s organized and moves people through without creating a hectic vibe or making you feel rushed out, which is so common at nail salons these days.

These people suck,I came here visting and these people started off ok..until I bumped my toes and there it started the lady Jean asked me if I was going to pay Again thats right again for her to redo my toes and I bring the nice person that I am have here a good reading from a customer and told her that I really dont owe you anything but being that I work a dont wont or expect anything free I payed her a total of 60plus tip for a pedicure&for them then to cut and file not polishing &putting I with poor customer service

Dont go if youre a guy, they charge you full price regardless if paying with cash. They said men are not their typical clientele, so they dont get the cash discount????? Im sorry but thats sexist, especially when you can’t tell me that a gentlemens mani/pedi is any different than a regular mani/pedi.Aside from that, the work was rushed and sloppy. We were in and out before anyone else even left, and I got both a mani and pedi. Such an awful experience and I will never be going back.

It was alright. I got the same lady that I had last time, which I was excited about...I also got another woman. BBN likes to do both manicures and pedicures at the same time, which I dont mind. However, I do mind how rushed it is. I feel like my nails were rushed, which I didnt appreciate...but overall, they did a good job. Now...I went back today just to get an upper lip wax. Something very simple. I always call beforehand to see what their hours are, just in case they might have changed for the day. I called beforehand per usual, and someone told me they closed at 7pm. Perfect! BBN is a 20 minute walk away, so Ill leave at 5:30pm and arrive around 6pm. I actually left earlier and arrived around 5:30pm, just to hear them say theyre closing at 6pm and wouldnt be able to take someone else. Now, I dont mind if their hours changed. It makes sense anyways, cause its the holidays. Yet I was told that you all closed at 7pm...and now Im hearing you guys are closing in 30 minutes? Not only that, but you all didnt accommodate me or apologized. I couldve at least gotten an, Im sorry. But nope! They didnt even want to hear me out. I HATE poor customer service. Once Ive experienced poor customer service from a business, theres a very low chance that I will ever go back to that business. Im not sure if Ill be coming back here...at least not for a while. They didnt handle the situation well, despite the fact that it was an error on their behalf (lack of communication). Im not sure if its because its in the evening (I usually come in the afternoon), but...they have to do better with their customer service in situations like these!

I thought I found a new nail salon. I went exactly 4 weeks ago today for a pedicure and gel manicure and fell in love. Today...NOT so much! I go in at 12:15 for a 12:30 appt., its now 2:08 and all I got was a shoddy pedicure w/ NO polish, a jacked up tip on one of my big toes (that I had to file because it looked like the bumpy streets of DC) and absolutely NOTHING done to my nails except the polish removed from the last time I was there. I left pissed the hell off to say the least. Jean says: Are you coming back?. HELL NO! Im getting on a plane tomorrow morning with my feet & nails looking like CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
