Love the exercise pool easy on the joints. Place is nice, clean plenty of equipment. Life gaurd personable. Actually used to work there when they had Diabetes Education and Management Program in 2001 as an LPN @ the time. All staff are pleasant, even went to rehab there a few times. I would highly recommend the rehab. Great therapists there.
Unfortunately, I am in need of Physical Therapy; fortunately my doctor referred me to this place. I have had several other situations that required physical therapy and they were not particularly successful. So, I was not sure whether this location would be any better than the others. Nonetheless, I was willing to give them a try. I am glad I did!Everyone I met has been utterly professional - from the reception desk to the staff who take care of the billing to the physical therapists themselves. One thing that makes this place stand head and shoulders above any other place Ive tried in the local area is the wide breadth of equipment and services that they have. In my case, my doctor thought that aqua therapy would be beneficial so I was first evaluated by one therapist, who then created a customized plan for me, and then I was guided by another one in the therapy pool. While it is too early for me to tell if the course of action is going to be successful, I do know that I am enjoying this a lot more than any other place Ive been to. This is definitely a customized approach to my specific problem -- in previous locations Ive visited it seemed like I was run through a standard package based on the equipment they had.I am definitely considering purchasing a membership in addition to the therapy sessions that the insurance is paying for as I can see how many services they offer and it is a very large facilities with all kinds of options and opportunities for me and my family.
I really like the heated pool for therapy reasons. Exercising in warm water is much easier on the joints. At the right time of day, there is so much room to exercise, and afterwards sitting in the hot tub and relaxing really makes your day. The gym is always clean and has plenty of equipment to use if that is what you are inclined to do.
I went here as a guest with my brother. We were greeted by an incredibly nice lady at the front desk. Everything here was extremely clean and all of the staff was super friendly. We did rotations of sauna, steam, cold lap and then hot tub. It was a great way to relax and detoxify my body.My muscles were ready for the gig I had to play that night. My only complaint is they off no towels at all so you need to bring your own which I did not know. So fyi, bring one.
My kids have all used this center for swim lessons. The Facilities are nice and comfortable...and so is the staff. From the front desk to the swim instructors, they are always willing to help and you can tell they care about the kids.
Great experience to sign up. When toured the cleanest gym in the area. Looking forward to working with their staff!
I signed up to be a member 3 years ago and it’s been a great gym, However since Covid it’s been had for myself and many other members to attend since the hours have changed. Speaking for myself and countless people who used to be regulars at the wellness center we are debating on canceling our membership due to the lack of evening hours and the raised monthly rate. We all want the old hours back because it makes it hard to enjoy the gym when you don’t have time to workout after the work day.
Was safe and clean. Staff was curtious and helpful.
Nice place get you in quick on out
Beautiful and clean with friendly, helpful staff.
Shelby gives FABULOUS massages!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND 🥰 so nice! Very kind! She knows her stuff!
A great place, had to get a Covid test out there as well.
Such a nice gym

My depression has been lifted as I wake each n every day looking forward to working out at this beautiful facility. So so clean n everyone is always so kind n helpful.
They are great with the best professional care there!
Just gave blood here
Im a 12 year member at the wellness center because they are the only gym with a pool. I enjoy the water classes I take with Mary Skiffington as instructor. Membership fee is a little daunting but I stay here for my heart health. Staff is always nice.
Very helpful staff and trainers that are very knowledgeable and helpful.
Nice clean place people are friendly
I have been a member of the Wellness Center for over a decade and credit it with giving me a quality of life I have never had before. My favorite is the warm therapy pool where I do a lot of stretching and range of motion. All the employees are friendly and helpful.
I have been a member of this facility for over eighteen years and have not been disappointed. The Wellness Center has something for every age group to experience. With two pools, yoga room, spinning and group fitness rooms, walking track and modern exercise equipment, there is something for everyone. The Wellness Center is constantly upgrading the facility by purchasing new equipment or just enhancing the center. The best part of the wellness center is the people who work there. From the friendly front desk employees, to the trainers and management staff, they help make it an an enjoyable experience to exercise at this facility.
Best gym in area bar none. Pool hot pool. Sauna, hot tub, indoor padded track for bad knees. Punching bag. Free weights GIA
This is among the top 5 fitness centers around Pittsburgh. They have everything from machines to sleds and battle ropes. Gym is spacious enough, and has enough equipment, that getting in a workout during peak hours is fairly easy.
I had to have neck surgery and was medically unable to use the Center. They made me still pay out my year membership. The one star is for the people who work there. They were very good.
Nice facility
Ive never been into fitness but recently lost a lot of weight through diet and was looking to add strength training and regular aerobic exercise to my plan. I looked at a number of gyms before deciding to join this one. Its one of the higher priced facilities in the area, but you get a lot for the money: You get 8 free sessions with various professionals once you join, to include personal training and nutrition consultations. They make sure you know what you need to do in order to reach your goals. There is a large variety of fitness classes (yoga, spin, aerobics, etc.) available at no extra cost. The staff is friendly and helpful, the facility is up to date and spotless, and the members are of a variety of fitness levels, so no one should feel intimidated. Be sure to tell the membership associate who youre employed by when you join; I received a substantial discount because my employer has an agreement with the facility. The only suggestion for improvement I have for the facility would be to offer longer hours on the weekend. Still, I highly recommend this facility.
Love the Wellness Center because they have everything! Child care, yoga classes, pool, steam room, sauna, classes - best gym in town!
This wellness center is owned by Washington Health System. Its large, they offer a variety of group fitness glasses, they have a lot of exercise equipment, an indoor track, and a swimming pool. They also have a child card service for parents that need somebody to watch their children while they work out. And they have summer camp for children. I did their indoor cycling class and walked on the indoor track. The only issue I have is the pricing. Its $70 per month for membership, which I understand its that expensive because it costs a lot to maintain the facility, the swimming pool and pay the staff. However, they should look into offering an income-based membership price for those that cannot pay $70 per month. Planet Fitness are going to attract those that cannot pay $70 per month, so the Wellness Center should look into a discounted price to complete with Planet Fitness.
Therapist Kelley is awesone!! It shows that she loves her job. She acts real concerned about your well being!!!
Everyone Deserves a Place to go get fit & Not be Judged. They have a lot to offer, its a Popular place. They have different programs and a Medical program as well. Thats Where Im at. A Dr. (RIP) Kranick told me, Remember One thing. Muscle Holds Bone in Place. Never get Heavy. Well life happens. I got hurt (beyond My Control) What One Eats Matters. Fill Urself with Stuff that Ud feed Someone Who Matters Most to U. You! That Should be U. If U Cant take Care of Urself, How Then, Will U Ever help Anyone else? Be Well & Remember U Matter 💯💕
Wonderful
Very nice facility. Also clean and has a great staff. Only drawback is that the memberships are pricey.
I would like to see them modernize their class options. They definitely cater to an older clientele.
All parents who want to send their child for swimming lessons BEWARE!!!!! Absolutely horrible. Made my life hell for months literally. My child gets hives on and of from an autoimmune problem since his birth. We fight his condition every day. We signed him up for private swimming lessons in the wellness center and on his second lesson he had a hive on his stomach.Swimming instructor never questioned me or our babysitter, that was also present, what was on his stomach. We were available to talk to her through the whole lesson. We never left. She chose not to ask anything. One week later I’m finding out that CYS came to talk to my children at school. Claiming that my son had a “bruise“ on his stomach. The wellness center swimming instructor wrote a disgraceful report to child protection services.I have one special needs son with an army of involved special service professionals in my house every week for the past nine years. They all were infuriated about this and in total disbelief of what was happening. How can a swimming instructor have an ability to report but doesn’t have an ability to discriminate between hive and a bruise. So everyone, please send your child elsewhere. Here you will get so-so swimming lessons and will be reported to CYS for every freckle or a birth mark, or anything else that instructor’s imagination will allow. There are people that absolutely need to be reported, but not that many of them to take their time and money to sign up their children for private swimming lessons.Never again. Look somewhere elseThis situation caused months of frustration for a family and everyone around us, when instructor could just ask me.
I take my client there for therapy..the equipment and facilities are amazing the pool area is awesome and accessible ..I do wish they accepted more insurances for there gym membership....
Although, I never been into the gym or had a membership, I went there for phsyical therapy. The staff there is amazing. For the first time in years, I finally walk pain free thanks to them. Love the therapy staff there. They are so friendly and helpful.
Starting a membership, amazing place and very clean
My whole family works out here. Excellent family package prices, great equipment, clran, and friendly staff. They have a huge pool and clean shower and locker rooms.
Good place to work out, nice layout weights, trainer an swimming pool and hot tub very clean place.
This facility is overpriced and usually too crowded. Most of the staff is not friendly. My wife is a member there but I refuse to be. I was remembering the past and they want to hammer you with an Initiation fee if you dont pay the hold your membership. I also dont like the fact that its a gun-free zone and they wont provide any security.
Very big gym with lots of equipment. Expensive, and not very personal. Yoga class felt crowded and rushed, not peaceful. Massage was OK. Pretty good swim lessons for kids.
Staff are friendly the complex itself is clean all around good place
Best gym and Physical therapy facility in SW PA. Hands down!!!
Dr office
The wellness center is my new go to place! So clean!
Its really fun. There is a lot of variety of things you could do.
This place has it all, well worth joining.
Great gym good trainers staff is great pool, and hot tub out standing.
Easy and clean gym to workout in
Very nice facility with a helpful staff. Even the members have a positive attitude. I havent belonged to a gym in years but I knew after my first day, I was given a free day pass, that this is where I wanted to workout. The family hours on the weekends really sold it. Although the gym usually has a lot of people working out, no one has a problem sharing equipment. Theres a wide variety of people ranging from young to old and in great shape to needing a lot of work like I do. Its not your typical meathead gym full of people yelling and grunting at the weights lol. It may be a few more dollars than other gyms but the pool, hot tub and steam room makes it the best value by far. Not to mention if you have a doctors note not allowing you to work out or move 25 miles away from the gym they will let you out of your contract. They are here to help you not just take your money and turn their back on you.
My son loves their swimming classes.
The staff is very friendly and there services are exceptional..
Loved the interaction the staff hadwith the children during the party
To over priced to join. And if u are limited income not the place for u they need to lower there prices
Clean and well-appointed gym.
Do not take swim lessons here, rude and unorganized. Go to the Goldfish swim school.
