I have a Dell XPS 13 that had a swollen laptop battery and a nonresponsive track pad. Blown away by the response time and customer service. Had water damage to my macbook air and was concerned my data would be lost. Phoned them up and spoke to Richard - super nice and helpful. They sent someone to pickup the laptop the very next day, and had it back to me with all my data recovered on a flash drive the day after that. Excellent HONEST Service! OVER AND BEYOND! First of all, I should mention that I received service 2 years before for a laptop I dropped. I thought it was a goner. They came and picked it up, called me to let me know the status and said we can fix this and then let me know what the next steps were. Fast forward two years later, my computer screen started going in and out....then one day...I opened it it was just a white screen. Of course I started to freak out. I then looked up the company that I remembered using (Laptop Repair). Darnell answered the phone when I called. When I talk about AMAZING customer service, Darnell has it! We talked about the computer for 15 minutes. He told me what he thought it might be and the root cause. Which sounded right to me. THEN he gave me 3 game plans! He also said he can have the computer picked up. He called me that day to let me know he had my computer (laptop). He informed me that he would call later to let me know what was going on with it. He did just that. The pricing was very clear! There was no feeling of someone getting over on me. I thought about just having it repaired, which he said he could do, but my system was so outdated. It would be better if I just got the external hard drive, had them transfer the data and purchase a new computer at a later date. I appreciated the honesty. When I got the computer back....literally, I think it was in better condition then when I sent it to them. They wiped it down and made it look shiny, repackaged it with care, sent me the hard drive with instructions, then CALLED me to explain everything they did and if I had any questions to call them. Even though Dell had previously told me that a replacement motherboard is not available, Richard took the time to fully research the problem and parts availability. I called Laptop Repair Geeks asking about a keyboard repair for my HP Spectre x360. They informed me that because of some rules with HP, they wouldnt be able to fix the keyboard and instead would need to replace the entire section of the laptop, which would be about 4x as expensive. They then gave me the name and number of a different repair center who could help me better. They get 5 stars for honesty, integrity and customer service. As a customer of any business, I just want to feel like the business truly cares about me having a good experience. I can absolutely say that, with no hesitation, about Laptop Repair Geeks. I came in with a MacBook that had all sorts of problems, primarily with the hard drive and the track pad. Darnell got the first round of repairs done in one business day and hand delivered my laptop to me. When the track pad was still acting a little funky, he took it back, made the necessary adjustments, and didnt charge for the extra labor. He also threw in a couple freebies like a mouse, an external hard drive (with my data backed up), and an upgrade in the hard drive capacity from 120GB to 240GB. He made the final repair on a Saturday and drove the laptop out to me. The deliveries were free of charge. Prices for the other work and equipment were very reasonable.Not only do I have nothing but praise for Laptop Repairs work, but Darnell is really a great guy. It seems weird to say about someone who is doing work on your laptop, but Darnell felt like a friend when all was said and done. I would absolutely refer anyone to Laptop Repair and I feel thankful to Darnell for truly caring about the type of experience I had with his business.

I called Laptop Repair Geeks of DC to fix a cracked laptop screen. Richard was incredibly flexible with my schedule/pickup location, and made it so I could maximize my worktime by picking up the laptop and performing the repair in off hours.It was a complex fix due to the laptop model, and Richard was very forthcoming about the risks associated with fixing the screen. I told him to go ahead with the repair, and it is perfect.Richard was a great communicator throughout the process, I cant recommend Laptop Repair Geeks of DC more highly.

My laptop wouldnt turn on after I kept fiddling with a broken power cord on my laptop, so I thought the power jack needed to be replaced. I found Laptop Repair Geeks after researching other companies and submitted my request for repair on their website. I received an email within an hour detailing what needed to happen along with the cost for parts, shipping and repair. I approved the estimate and arranged for someone to pick up my laptop the next day which they do at no additional cost!Darnell came to pick up my laptop and within a few hours he told me that my motherboard had shorted out. He said it would be cheaper for me to replace my laptop than to replace the motherboard, but I needed information that was on the laptop so I told him I had no choice but to replace it. I told him I would try to find a used one and that I would get back to him.Darnell called me an hour or so later and said he had another option that would be cheaper. He said he could swap the hard drive from the broken laptop and put it in a second laptop that I had as a backup so I could retrieve the information I needed without having to replace the motherboard. That sounded like the perfect solution, so we did the swap. It only cost me $89, I was able to get what I needed, and I never had to leave my office.I cant say enough about the outstanding customer service and quality of work I received from Darnell. Not only was he punctual and extremely professional, but he went out of his way to save me money.This is the only computer repair company I will ever call as long as Im in the DMV. And did I mention they make house calls?!!

I was thoroughly impressed by both customer service and work of the Laptop Repair Geeks. Richard and his team put a lot of effort into diagnosing and trying to repair the issue, updating me in great detail along the way, and when it turned out my computer was irreparable they waived all fees and delivered my laptop to my apartment free of charge.

Great company! Called, described problem. They knew exactly what I was talking about. Sent me to another repair shop. Said that would be faster, cheaper. Wow. Dont find that kind of service anymore.

My laptop was repaired very masterfully and the customer service was top notch. They fixed my laptop as quickly as possible and even provided me with additional assistance after the job was done. Overall, very pleased with the results.

Went to them for a bad battery. Their customer service was excellent and their prices were very reasonable. When the part didnt come in on time they refunded the shipping cost, and delivered the computer right to my door when the repairs were finished for no extra charge. If I ever have computer issues again I will go here first.

I made an onsite reservation on Sunday and a computer guy came to my home. He said its a firmware problem and he fixed it within an hour! Super fast! Reasonable price!

Ive never had better service in my life.I had an issue with my laptop and I called ahead. Instead of booking me an appointment, Richard offered to walk me through troubleshooting on the phone. When I told him I could only get to my laptop in the evening, he gave me his number and texted me solutions, even at 9pm. He saved me a lot of time and money. The Laptop Repair Greeks are wonderful! Very professional, friendly, patient, transparent in their quotes and repair processes, consistent communication throughout the process, and reasonably priced. Not to mention excellent location near Farragut West and Farragut North stations.I am pleasantly surprised by their clean, modern office without clutter. I think they rent a few rooms in a huge office suite (hence the front desk / receptionist). Service seems to be by appointment only. You have to call ahead. Theyd be waiting for you in the lobby to escort you to the suite.Darrnell Cephas was our point of contact. I liked that its the same person you talk to from start to finish, and he is always available via SMS, phone, and email. He did a great job with data recovery from our external hard drives (one for PC, the other for Mac). In the end, after repairing one faulty harddrive, he recommended we put the data on a new hard drive we buy from him. He made a point of matching the online price for that harddrive. Throughout the 3-day repair, he remains in constant communication with us, which is reassuring. He also sent screenshots of the progress.

I didnt even go into the store and had an amazing experience. After truthfully telling me that I Would only be wasting time if I went into the store, the customer service guided me in my next lap top purchase and how to clear my old computer ( a 7 year Macbook). Nothing but good things to say and now that I have a DELL, I will be sure to go in here anytime I have a computer issue
